S-Bahn Berlin GmbH Reviews

Excellent railway junction, it has almost all the means (S-Bahn, Ubahn and tram). Not far from the bus stops.
I don't know the best because the S-Bahn is still in the process of being modified (the station is not over yet after over a year !!!!), Google is OSTINA not wanting to divide the ubahn from the S-Bahn (which are two stations separated by meters away but on Google Maps they are in the same place and you can't change that) and it is full of pushers (sometimes even sellers, musicians and dirt).
But absolutely livable, NOT like I read in other reviews. I went there in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening and even at night. Always alone. NO ONE who harassed me or approached me to sell drugs.
(I suppose those who wrote those reviews have a nasty smell)

Horrible experience! Me and my girlfriend took the S-Bahn from the airport to the city centre when we got stopped for control by two ladies. As we both had bought a valid ticket we didn't expect anything to be wrong but it turned out we didn't scan the ticket before we entered the train (we didn't know we had to as it's not indicated anywhere, or at least not clearly because we didn't see anything). Anyway, we thought no big deal as we clearly had a ticket which was bought less than an hour ago so there was no way we could have been cheating the system. They gave us a fine of 60 euro which altough in our eyes was obviously unreasonable we accepted as apparently that's how the law is. However, what was a lot worse was the rudeness of the two controllers. Neither one of us spoke German but we tried to communicate in a friendly matter with them. They however responded in an incredibly rude matter while refusing to speak English. To top it off they made a few racist remarks (my girlfriend is Colombian) and laughed at our situation. Apparently human decency and a little empathy is not part of who they are. Very dissapointed in this behavior and still very upset.

Unbelievable that the S-Bahn Berlin GmbH cooperates with a collection company like infoscore Forderungsmanagement GmbH and within a very short time, after expiry of a ridiculous 2-week payment period, a very covetous demand. This is pure rip-off and worthy of no case of a social society. Here, two companies delight only in money and false righteousness !!

Dear S-Bahn GmbH, Unfortunately, there is not a single S-Bahn in Berlin that makes plan goes, that you leave your trains as long as they fall apart and the state has to pay for it is really naughty! You deliberately endanger the passengers. Even the trains on Christmas Eve arrive too late and then the driver drives the S1 at a snail's pace and still manages to drive like a eel. It is very bold then to raise the fares, maybe you get your problems under control first and change your leadership positions.

Around is full of homeless people and drug dealers, in general, it's dirty even by Berlin standards.

The station is still a construction site. Is not nice to change.

It may be hip here, I find it dirty, untidy and I do not feel safe even during the day (and I'm not a coward).

I do not believe it! In critical Corona times, new construction sites and replacement buses are opened. Customers are crammed together through narrow aisles. In my opinion, this is just as prohibited in times of lockdown as I am partially prohibited from practicing my profession!

The station was released after months of construction almost a year ago, at least with two platforms. There are no elevators. The building is still a single construction site, dirty, dirty. The planned business is not finished, maybe future tenants are missing. A fake picture, just typical for Berlin. Is not a prestige object like the main train station.

The worst railway station I know. Where the view is down, garbage lies around. It is teeming with alternatives and mares. In every corner, it stinks of urine. On weekends you stick in Bierlorke.

The conversion of the station is apparently completed soon. The fact that a Starbucks will move up to street level says a lot about the transformation of this station from the ugly duckling to the gentrified swan. Environment with its many stairs and paths still irritating ...

Just the worst station. You'll want to pass straight through.

The train is building, ok. But no elevator at the platform where the S-Bahn ends, is already a hard nut, how do you get there as a wheelchair away? Only with helping hands on the escalator ...
And the clientele at the Zuwegen and in front of the station on the bridge, are a real impertinence! You do not want to be alone for long and just hope that it does not have to be a daily journey!

One of the most alive station in Berlin. On weekend it is jam packed. Trains are always on time. It's spacious, covered, and benches are available if you need rest. On weekends I'll pay more attention to my belongings
You can find street artist jamming, dancing singing. Clubs are near this station as well. If you want to enjoy Berlin night this is the station to start from.

The linchpin par excellence. Friedrichshain and Spree within easy walking distance.

It's a busy station near kreuzberg. Repairing needed and it's going on. Wish to see the nicer version of it.

Good connections, however, you should not just in the evening alone in the side streets around drifting. You can barely walk 2 meters without being asked if you want to buy drugs.

Well it's a train stop, full of drug dealers so that's about it to say about it.
