Their drivers like to swerve into your lane during icy weather to try and cause accidents for absolutely no reason. No blinker, then turn off and head in a completely different direction. Causing accidents to create work is illegal, but they don't care. Be weary when driving near them!

They just take your car illegally and then I guess wait to be sued! All of them are rude and disrespectful and for some reason there is never a manager.

The place will charge you nearly 350 regardless. No exception, no mercy. This place is really ripoff.

They towed my car at the apartment complex I live at and after both my leasing manager and I called their office, they wouldn't budge off the price and actually added to the overall cost. In the end, they told me I would only pay $385 and when I came to pick up the car, they charged me $388. They were argumentative when I asked why I was being charged more after I made numerous calls to confirm the price and why there were added fees. They are looking to increase the total price to make money once they have your car. This place is a scam and just out to get money.

My apartment management has a contract with them to tow cars that are not in visitor spaces. I'm often woken up by this company stealing people's cars in the night. Yes, it might be that someone has made a mistake and parked where they shouldn't have. But as long as it doesn't pose a threat to safety, I see no reason why a small mistake like that should cost so much. This company looks like they charge upwards of $350 base price, before storage fees. This is 300% roughly of what a ticket or city tow would be. Additionally, companies like this target the poor or working class, to what basically amounts as extortion. $350 is a grocery budget for a family for a month, or a significant amount of rent. Most Americans can't even afford an emergency in that amount.
I knew of someone that had been living out of their car after losing their job suddenly and losing their housing as a result. Most people do not realize how close to being homeless and in poverty people generally are. It's pretty easy to tell if someone is living out of their car. A company like this towed his car and all his possessions, in the dead of winter right after that cold snap we had. He was left with nothing.
I would say that these companies are just a bit better than payday lenders, but payday lenders don't take your car without notice in the middle of the night. After reading these reviews and hearing stories from people of companies like this, I will be looking into legislative action against them.

The worst tow company around. Way to expensive and a pain in the a** to deal with.

It was recently brought to my attention that my wifey's car was towed late last night. As one could imagine she was very upset by this incident, and recognized that the employee towing her RAV-4, 6 cylinder, 15.9 mile fuel tank capacity sedan failed to properly notify her of the $200 drop off fee. As a result, she was left with no option, but having to pay a ridiculous overcharge fee of $350. The employee at the towing company also treated her poorly, and was disrespectful. As a husband, I was deeply saddened to watch this experience unfold, and hear about how wifey was treated. We plan on pursuing legal action, and hope that others do not have a similar experience like ours in the future.

Wish I could give 0 stars, whole place is a scam. They're in the middle of the ghetto and prey on the surrounding lower income families who can barely afford to pay they're inflated costs. They steal cars and steal your belongings from your car. Luckily I'm blessed enough that they won't put a dent in my bank account but definitely cant say the same for the 3 other families in the waiting room with me. Should be shut down but the police are in on it and dont give a f. They're literally legal car thieves.

Towed our car when we were inside Walgreens. $380 later they parked our car in at their lot and we had to wait an hour before they got it out. Talk about terrible customer service

These people are a bunch of crooks. They took my car out of a 1 hour parking spot before the hour was up. They took it after hours so even though they can answer a phone after 5, I can t pick up my car until the next day. I don t know how Marquette can use these people and how they city of Milwaukee lets them do this. Seems like they enjoy taking money away from poor college kids and lower income people.

And they have towed my car when i parked in my house. For a day. It is outrageous that they have the right to do that!.

These people are need to get their morals in check. How are you going to watch someone get out of their car, say "hello how's it going", wait for them to get in the house, and then tow their car. Dude could have told us we were parked illegally while we were having small talk before stealing our car. These guys have been investigated by Fox 6 how many times for sketchy service. They're just a bunch of tow bullies stealing everyones car. They'll get theirs though..

They don t have an direct number to have questions answered they don t have an forum to sign off on for people who sold cars and the person never got the vehicle title changed over and got it towed this company is terrible and I m currently looking into trying to get it shut down honestly because it looks like they got more bad reviews then an dc movie

The guy who towed my car was the only reasonable person there.... 345$ to tow.... And retrieve it rather leave it in chicago downtown! Cuz that's cheaper than getting towed here and someone smoked in my car!

This towing service is corrupt. My car had gotten towed October 28, 2017. I had gone to get my car back the next morning on the 29th. I wasn't allowed to pay with card so I went and got cash. I was charged $401 and some odd change. Upon looking at my receipt when it was all said and done it was only supposed to pay $348. I called and told them about the incident and they won't do anything to help me. So whoever is working there just pocketed my extra money I had paid. On top of the already absurd price for towing. Make sure if you get your car towed by this place you dot your I's and cross your T's. They will steal from you.

Worst company ever. Complete scam. Was at my buddies apartment and he is building manager. Owner of building is his family. This company showed up at 5am took my truck and building managers car. Last building owner used these guys and when building got bought they were notified of not needing there service anymore. Now almost 2 years later they show up take the vehicles and refuse to return them. This company needs to be shut down

This place has a reputation. They like to come at 4am and steal cars from apartment building parking lots managed by greedy land lords who receive the services for free. They tow 24/7 but aren't open all week to pile on storage fees. Read about them in the Sentinel. There really should be a law against these mercenary tow truck businesses and the selfish, cold, black hearted, ignorant land lords that use them . Check your apartment building if they contract with these people.

Estimated one hour for tow service and it took three. What is worse is that they were never honest about the delay. All they would say is, "the driver is on his way, he'll be there in 15 minutes." Also they work with Progressive whose roadside customer service people are not very helpful either.

Car was towed morning after Thanksgiving. Called and they gave me a quote. When I arrived to pick up the car the man at the desk told me the price went up. The woman in the back came to the service window and asked if I could read. Extremely rude staff!!

They should not be able to charge so much!!! I hope the IRS checks their accounting.

My car was being towed as I was standing there asking them to drop it. The gentleman would not listen to me or give me any information and drove off with my car. When I went to pick it up in the morning, I was extremely overcharged ($350) and the employees were very rude. One gentleman who actually seemed to care asked to see my receipt and as I explained to him what happened, he said that the man towing my car could have dropped it for a fee and it would have been $200 cheaper than what I payed to get it out of the lot. I was not given my options and for that, they will be hearing from my lawyers.

$25 storage fee.
$125 special equipment fee..?
$30 municipal recording fee.

It cost me less to have my car towed from Illinois after an accident. They screw you because they can.

Learned my lesson the hard way - read signs closely. They were just doing their job towing my car. Tow yard worker was very nice. Front office guy was polite as well.

My biggest issue was I had items in there I NEEDED out. No it wasn t my grandmothers priceless heirloom, But it was sensitive and potentially dangerous items that I should ve been allowed to take Out of my vehicle at the very minimum. If your car does get towed, just know the place seems very secure. The gate is locked and has barbed wire, and there is cameras and yard dogs on site.

They actually charge $25 less than the statutory limit. It sucks to pay almost $350 to get your car out but don t park where you re not supposed to.... hard lesson learned.

It's unfortunate that most people only leave reviews when they are upset. Most of the intelligible reviews here are from people who either admitted to knowingly parking where they shouldn't or from people who parked where they shouldn't while visiting someone who had the responsibility of telling their guests not to park in the lot. Just follow the rules people!
For the last two years Always Towing has been taking care of a parking lot at a complex that I have been managing for about 5 years. The first 3 years I received multiple calls every month from upset tenants about non-residents parked in their stall. Every time I got one of these calls I'd have to drop everything, go to the property, verify the status of the improperly parked vehicle, call the police and wait for them to show up to issue a parking ticket, and THEN I could arrange to have them towed. It was a nightmare. I even had a tenant renting out our parking stalls to people who attended State Fair!
I had to put up with that nonsense for too long. One day I decided to try Always Towing and I could not be happier. They provided all the documents I need for my tenants, permits for the cars, they put up proper signage, provide randomized monitoring and will respond quickly to any reports of illegally parked cars, ALL FOR FREE!!!
The first month I got a few calls from upset tenants who's vehicle or their guests' were towed for not following the rules. After that, it's almost MAGICAL how I did not hear about any problems with improper parking for over a year! When I finally did get a call from a tenant who was upset about being towed, it turns out that it's because they broke the rules. The towing company even sent me pictures of the vehicles to prove that they were improperly parked.
The peace of mind I have now is priceless. Every landlord who has a private lot should hire Always Towing!

...And as far as everyone screaming bloody murder because it's expensive: It's also expensive to be a landlord who has to stop being productive in order to deal with people who knew they shouldn't park there but didn't care. JUST FOLLOW THE RULES! :)

The service was great,but I didn't realize that every privately owned tow company in the city charges around the same price for cars towed off of private property. Some even charge more. I looked up the law for towing in the city of Milwaukee and found that ALL of the fees they charge are set by the state of Wisconsin. After finding that out I realized that these guys are just doing a job, providing a service that is asked for by a lot of property owners. I myself am also a property owner and once I looked into what these guys do I hired them to patrol my properties also. Honestly before people start pointing fingers and say what's predatory they need to look up and understand the laws for towing in the city of Milwaukee, because once I did I got a whole new outlook on the situation and realize the state is the one that came up with these prices not the towing companies.

They have been stealing cars from the west grove . And have towed my car twice now after they lost their contract with west grove they towed 5 or 6 cars at night because with the holiday no one could get their cars back. They have terrible customer service and charge for "special equipment" when it isnt being used. And They have damaged my car while towing my car.

These guys should be sued in court, for over charging people. These guys are charging $125 for a special equipment fee addition to the towing fee, which they are claiming as use of of flatbed truck. First all towing companies use flatbed or pull-ups to tow cars , I have my own towing company, we never charge Costumer's this kind of money. this is just a robbery. To get your car out of the Hell lot ur going to pay $348.48 which was not acceptable. But I will sue them in court these bastards.

Got my car towed... Fine MAYBE I messed up. I call and see if my car is here. Dude said yes I can come get it. I say I'll Uber there and be there soon. I get there at 9am with the doors closed and a sign that says they have a "meeting" until 12...

Worthless company. Get my vehicle towed from my property with for literally no reason. The company claims they were told to do by my property managment, however the "manager" they have been on contact with was fired months ago. Not a single tow away zone in my complex and they just randomly show up and take some cars. Zero professionalism and i hope to god this place gets shut down becuase clearly they have not a clue what they are doing.

This place is a joke a scam no morals rude to no end. Towed a car 4 hours after the society expired- there owner of the car didn't have a chance to even get his sticker updated. Like they was stalking his car and laying and waiting like voltures. They pretty as hell. I will be calling the BBB.

Awful experience. The driver was more than 2 hours late, took more than half an hour to load up the vehicle, and almost flipped his truck in the process. Managers on the phone lied to me about when the truck would arrive.

I get that I parked somewhere where I shouldn't have but it was for 20 minutes and it was better than double parking and 350 to go 4 miles is ridiculous and not to be able to get the vehicle out till the next day at 9 who starts the day at 9 I could maybe understand if it was a lot earlier but 9 is ridiculous and I was from out of town and had to be home for work the next day and couldn't make it makes the city look bad

Very difficult to deal with and always charge the "Special Equipment Fee". Hofman Properties uses them to manage their lot but they tow vehicles that are allowed to be parked there causing major mayhem in peoples daily lives. NO BETTER THAN THIEVES!!! Standard for a tow company...they do not care. I suggest that property owners do not use tow companies to manage their lots as it just causes tenants major headaches for really no reason. Especially when the lots are hardly ever full.

MIGHT STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

We called them to get a copy of the towing invoice to give to our insurance company after an accident. The denied ever towing our car, said they had not towed that make and model of car within the past month. My husband called the next day. Said they had a record of the payment but could find any other record or invoice. They then emailed us and invoice, created the day they sent it to us with no truck number, no truck driver name, and no towing date and no signature. Also my husbands credit card information was stolen the day after paying for their services.

They have a contract with the owner of an apartment complex they towed me which costed me $401 for expired registration sorry didnt no they were parking checkers but its funny because i past the emission test and waiting for the dmv which is closed except for ids to mail the sticker to me and atleast 10 cars in the lot are broke down filled with snow another 10 have expired registration 2 with no plates its hilarious

POOR, NOT FAIR! My wife parked here and 45 minutes later the car was ticketed and towed. The apt complex didn't call, they have "spotters" that go out and look for reasons to tow people. What a joke. Most of these people are clearly not Christians, or even have morals..but whatever you do believe in, Karma exists...what goes around comes around. 337 dollars later we'll eventually get the car out. What a ripoff...sad thing is we'll clearly never visit Milwaukee again, scratch this place off the list!

Driver did hit and run on my car while towing another. Towing dispatch didn't know it happened. Showed up in all black truck with no logos, hit my truck, drove up and backed around it. All on camera.

This company took advantage of my daughter who was crying, and were kinda laughing at her. they told her that she needed a title, and that her registration was not the paper she needed, they also told her they were closed on Sunday so she would have to pay the overnight fee, sure enough I went in and took care of business, they denied lying to her. They took her car from her own apartment parking spot and told her she should ve had her pass on, the leasing office called them too and we still had to pay all the fees. Horrible place.

If these guys weren't subsidized by the sheriffs department for impounds, they would all be out of a job. This is honestly legal theft. They charge you an extra $150 if they have to "break into" your car all while hiding behind a legal disclaimer saying they are not liable for stolen items. And sure enough, I had stuff stolen out of my car and the police didn't even impound my car! It was instead for illegally parking. Had my car towed, was charged $150 extra due to needing "specialized" equipment. After paying the fees, gave keys to have car brought out. In the 5 mins that it took, one of the employees went in to the center console and helped themself to $30 in casino chips. 1 $5 chip, 1 $25 chip. Guy working the window was pleasant though.

The do an awesome job patrolling our lot. I always had issues with people parking in my spot, not anymore. If you're going to park illegally, deal with the consequences. It was YOUR choice.

We had the worst experience with this towing company. They couldn't tell me WHO towed my car. I didn't understand why that mattered because the everyday pricing was $25 dollars a day. It is supposed to be a flat 100 plus 25 a day for storage, yet somehow my price was 216 after THREE days. My car was there from Monday night until Thursday morning and they consider that four days. It took two hours to get the car. They were rude and not accommodating. Never put your car here by choice.

Horrible I paid almost 900 to get my vehicle and there's a dent inu car that wasn't there front desk admitted it wasn't there is filled out a damage claims form and was told the GM will give me a call the next day well n of course the next day was a Saturday so I called the following Monday and b he hasn't been in I've left a message with several different people and still no call back in guess I'll be making a trip to the court house.

Wish Don't ever use this place willingly. They put you in a sweat box while waiting for your car, all the while you're able to feel the AC pumping behind the glass of the workers' area. Not to mention the cost. Tow price itself is reasonable but then there is an added $170 "special equipment" fee. Many other tow companies won't do that to you.
