Top drawer for the larger hotels. They have spent a lot in renovations and it shows. The anemenities don't stop. A pool, sauna, hot tub, workout facility, restaurants, nightly entertainment and more. Worth it

Hotel with stories!

Hotel with stories!
The Hotel is a huge one and so far all recent presidents have stayed this place before except the current one who owns his own hotel.
The services are awesome. If you have elite membership, they respect to that.
Just across the streets are the parks. Those Parks are safe even during the night as it s not that hideous as Central Park after sun goes down.

The Hilton Chicago is a centrally-located luxury hotel in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The hotel is a Chicago landmark that overlooks Grant Park, Lake Michigan, and the Museum Campus. It is the third-largest hotel in Chicago by number of guest rooms; however, it has the largest total meeting and event space of any Chicago hotel.[3] Every sitting president of the United States has been housed in the hotel before leaving office since its opening in 1927

The bathroom was a little small, but I understand it's a very old hotel. Check-in staff was awesome, very welcoming. Morning buffet was great and powered us through the whole day, as we skipped lunch. Good location, would stay here again.

The hotel itself and the location are great. I do want to warn everyone that this place and the internal shops are extremely expensive. The rooms are not too bad, but the internal restaurants and the gift shop are insane.

I visited this hotel for a conference It was a pretty nice hotel It's an older hotel I think it is 90 years old It had places where paint was peeling on the ceilings and stuff but overall it was a pretty clean hotel It was within walking distance of quite a few restaurants. The staff is pretty nice but unless you like a warm room don't go in the winter because they turn the A/C off and all you have is heat unless you open a window.

Not family friendly! We stayed here for a weekend getaway this winter. We have stayed nearby and loved the location, and I thought Hilton would be an upgrade and a special treat for the family. Sadly, we felt unwelcome here due to unfriendly policies towards children. No kids allowed in the fitness center, even with parents. My kids are middle school aged, not toddlers, and just wanted to run on the track. 2/3 of the pool is blocked for lap swimming only. They were playing with a pool toy and someone came out and told them they can't play catch in the pool, although there were no other people swimming. The TV was old and the remote didn't work, no Comcast or movie rentals, and you pay 13$ per day for Wifi. Our room did not get cleaned at all, even though we were gone all day at a museum. So dissatisfied with our stay. We won't do Hilton again.

came here for a big non-profit luncheon. A salad, chicken and roasted vegetables for lunch. And a small chocolate cake and custard for desert.

I give it poor marks because you were supposed to eat your chicken roasted vegetables on the plate that you were eating your salad. This was not made clear to anyone before the servers took your plate. I made the mistake of telling the waitstaff that I was done (after finishing my salad) and next thing I know, he's moving my already apportioned dessert in front of me.

The ballroom was lovely, but the food was mediocre, banquet breakfast was terrible. The bed was short sheeted, the bath room heater didn't work, and the tv was dim to the point of being difficult to watch. But it was lovely, and the staff was mostly very nice. Convenient to millennium park and several iconic eateries.

Grand Dame of Chicago hotels, and the history of the place is wonderful. But it's big and very busy. There's a wait for elevators and the lobby is always full. Rooms are decent and it looks like they've had a recent renovation for the entire place.

Great hotel. Had a great stay. The staff was very helpful especially Doy Gildart JR. The hotel is in walking distance to many locations. Will definitely will be staying again in the future.

It's a big old hotel conveniently located next to Grant Park. But...it's dark and kind of dirty. Here's the view from my seventh floor room, and a photo of the visitor that crawled to the middle of the floor in my room and died.
