Rooms ok. Food mediocre. Nice pool. But unbelievable that they nickel and dime you for everything: $3.00 to check each bag. No bottled water in rooms. Marriott next door looks much nicer. Stay there!

Hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from everything nice on Chicago downtown (one hour Uber drive from O'hare).

The room I used (942) was noisy: when AC turned on, noisy, TV off, had weird random noises (like an electrical relay, or something). Towels came with lots of hair in it, had to had them replaced three times, after being delivered as "clean towels." All food in the hotel is very expensive (Chicago is an expensive city, I must say). The in-room pizza is bad, avoid: flavourless, and salty. Oh, and very expensive.

Not impressed with the hotel at all.

Excellent stay. It may be an old building with great history. But, the room was updated to modern levels. It was quiet and comfortable. The people were really nice and helpful. I would stay here again.

Main areas of the hotel are very fancy and we'll maintained. The rooms could uses so updating as the are beginning to show their wear. Additionally, the coffee in our room contained creams that were two months out of date and curdled. One of our two (small full sized) beds was not remade the second day. Overall, rooms should be better and service better for how much is charged.

The is a pretty fancy hotel near the waterfront in Chicago. I had a nice view from my room. Unfortunately, the internet here was pretty awful. The staff was friendly though, and the room was nice. I would probably stay in a smaller hotel next time I'm in town.

Stayed here and left my shaving kit in the bathroom, which had my $500 orthodontic retainer in it. Housekeeping threw out my shaving kit, yet the lost and found department strung me along for about a week, telling me they were looking and would call me back. I was promised four calls back and I didn't receive any of them. If you want any chance of getting back belongings you might leave in your room, DO NOT stay here.

What you would expect from a Hilton property in a premier location: convenience, style, and comfort. Great location, in site amenities and top flight service can all be found at 720 S Michigan Ave. We were on the top floor and, while we couldn't see the lake, the views of the Sears Tower were great. Stop for a pint at Kitty O'Sheas!

$200 for a single room that resembled a dorm room. Self-parking was an extra $50. The room was very basic and didn't have even mid-range amenities such as a fridge or ironing board.

Would not stay here again, because I don't feel like the stay was worth $250 - I've honestly gotten more from a $120/night stay at Holiday Inn.

The room was too cold (on 65 degrees) when I arrived here in the middle of a freezing February. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work, which made taking a shower a torturous experience. The location, on the other hand is amazing, especially if you are into art walking distance from the Art Institute.

Beautiful rooms and friendly service. The overnight parking price was a very big surprise, but we dont travel to large cities often and I have to assume $63 for parking is the norm. Location is great being downtown and some rooms have a beautiful view of Lake Michigan.

No tissues - air went out in the middle of the night- shower did not drain, took at least 5 minutes to drain-kept getting messages to check out early, even tho I told the front desk they told me to just let it go- TV signal went out 3 times. Never again. Will go to the Whyham instead, had no problems there.

We only stayed here for a night. The hotel is in a great location. We had a junior suite in the corner. It has a partial view of Grant Park. The room has nice amenities and is comfortable. However, the furnishing feels very dated. The gym is nice and big. Overall, we would come back to this hotel.

2 Beds, 2 Baths, 1 Room! I must admit, I've never been in a hotel room with 2 bathrooms, but this was GREAT, as a friend and I were visiting for the Grand Opening of Starbuck's Reserve Roastery on my BD. I never had to worry about hearing the words "are you going to be much longer?"

We stayed at this very nice hotel for our two weeks golf tournament. Our eighty plus golfers and wives were very well received by the hotel staff. Their customer service is outstanding, and we will be coming back again next year! The hotel facilities are also top-notch, including their complimentary breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially to all my friends!

Perfect location to walk or Uber to all the best parts of Chicago. Room was pretty good. We wished some of the more healthy food options were available later in the evening, but overall had a great weekend stay!

Stayed here for a couple of days during my last visit to Chicago. Amazing location with a good breakfast restaurant to fill up on morning carbs. As luck would have it, I was upgraded to a penthouse suite without charge. I was by myself, so could not really make use of it other than facetime with my wife. The suite had very good views of the lakefront and very clean. Glass artwork was amazing, but if I had kids with me, I would be worried about their safety and them breaking it. The check-in was fast and effortless. The concierge desk was knowledgeable about tours and other tourist attractions. Booked the architectural tour through them and it went well.

A step back into history.. This hotel is a classic. Yes, there have been updates.. Which were necessary, sorry to see some things go. Stop by and see one of the grandest hotels in the nation! 8 chandeliers in the grand ballroom, the spectacular foyer, a 2 story suite on the top floor and the infamous Kitty OSheas Irish pub. The hotel serves as a back drop for many tv shows/movies.

I stay in this hotel several times a year when i travel ti Chicago. I got upgraded to the executive floor this time. Very nice updated room on a floor with apps and drinks in the evening. The hotel has undergone renovations recently and its great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Great for business trips but lacking children friendly facilities (except for the swimming pool). Food is pricey so I'd eat out if you're on a budget.
