I got this place on hotwire wasnt sure what room I was gonna get. It was beautiful. I loved the historic look and feel. Its was very close to everything. Very clean and the most helpful and nicest staff every!! I would stay here again. Very fast and Efficient and they have a parking garage attached to the hotel. It was perfect. Clean hotel, clean rooms, lots of elevators that moves fast almost no waiting time. Speedy check in and out!!

Beautiful location. Very nice hotel. The convention space is a little convoluted though. The event I attended was held in the basement so finding your way I'm and out was not always easy. The Grand Ballroom decor is exquisite. The food for the convention attendees was not terrible either.

It is nice old building with character and spacious rooms, nice swim pool, deck, gym. It is clean hotel but super busy! Wonderful location close to Millenium Park and The Loop. Parking inside their property is kind of expensive. We had a great time there.

Reserved a room with a king size bed but they were "out" so we were given the option of upgrading to an executive floor for a king size bed out hanging a room with two double beds. The room was a large size for a hotel in a big city le Chicago. It is rather poorly lit without great lighting options. I like to have a light on each side of the bed so I can continue to read after my spouse goes to sleep. Maybe if we got the room with a king size bed, the lights would be better. Even with all the lamps on, the room is still dark at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean. The room has a mini fridge but no safe.

Beautiful classic Chicago hotel with a lot of history. A little overpriced for what you really get, but it's still nice. The beds were not to well made for our room which I was surprised at this level of a hotel - my history with Marriott was always superb... The part that shocked me was the gym had a $15 cost of use and the parking was $60 overnight for a hotel guest. This is a little extravagant and turns me off from wanting to go out of the way to stay here. Other than that, the staff were well mannered and friendly and the facilities were very clean and organized.

The historic Hilton Chicago is with walking distance of some of Chicago s many attractions. The staff at the hotel are absolutely amazing, between their high level of service, recommendations for maximizing your stay and their ability to accommodate you, once you step foot in the breathtaking hotel you won t regret it.

It's very nice and luxurious. The service were really good too! We asked for a towel at 3 in the morning and they brought us like 5 (maybe that was them being sarcastic but it's ok lol) The room is really awesome!

Great location, short walk to soldier field, across the street from millennium park, tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance on south side of downtown but still in a safe neighborhood. Few blocks south of riverwalk.

Casara is by far one of the sweetest receptionists weve ever encountered. She went above and beyond to make sure we get the most out of our stay. As a Hilton Diamond member, I thank her and highly recommend her.

Morever, we booked our reservation using a third party site and they werent able to add the reservation to our Hilton account, which means: no benefits, no points... This should be fixed on a corporate level, it makes me feel disappreciated.

When I book a flight thru Kayak, for example, I always get the benefits and points regardless of where I booked the flight.

They did not clean the room and we were there three days and two nights. Despite having notified the reception, nothing was done to fix it. We had two beds in the room and they had a different blanket color, which made it not aesthetic in that "supposed" category of hotel. Nor did they have wifi service in the room, except paying part. The terrace with good chairs but careless, without flowers or plants and grass in the pots. Excellent location

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. The lobby and restaurant areas are all beautiful then the rooms are great. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless, so we loved it. The staff members are all super helpful, especially when I left my phone in a local taxi and they were able to get it back to me quickly. Amazing!

After paying $378 a night I expected to enjoy my stay but that was not the case. The wifi did not work in the rooms and the staff (mainly the front desk staff) was very rude and unhelpful. We had to be checked by security guards in order to be verified of our stay at that hotel every time we entered the hotel, which is ridiculous, sketchy, and time consuming. I expected a lot more from this hotel, but I definitely will not be recommending it to anyone or staying there again.

superb location, poor service, management operates like if they were an airline: welcome! make a long, long line to check in, first thing you get is an offer to upgrade your room, -because you made poor decisions booking-, good luck at finding your room, or anything else in the building, but you will get first hand an offer to become a "member", your room, of course is waiting with a useless tablet full of ads, no water to drink, no wi-fi (come on, even extended stays give you this for free!), just like the screen in the back of an airplane seat. Found garbage under my bed too. This is a comfort inn level of service, yes, that bad it is.

Always a pleasure to be at the Hilton. I'm a loyal gold customer for years now. However I just was told that I wouldn't get my gold privileges any more only because my company paid for the room and not me. Well other hotels have nice loyalty programs too

Hilton Chicago a lovely place to stay. Our room faced Lake Michigan and it was easy to see all the boats and ships sail by. My only complaint is the cost of food options. The breakfast buffet is very pricey, and hotel guests can't go in and buy ala cart items...such as eggs, toast and coffee. The hotel does offer a market that's open early and late, but everything is premade. It's good, but would have preferred the opportunity to select what we wanted to eat. Hotel staff is good. I needed my bed turned around because one side sagged down. It was done and the bed was then very comfortable. Parks are nearby, so are museums. I recommend the Hilton and would stay here again.

Went for a professional event. The food was the best. I've been to many other venues in the area and Hilton was good. Most importantly they didn't try to be fancy and fail. They stuck to simple food they could do great en masse. Much better than a complex meal done terribly for many people.

I worked a private event at the hotel that covered multiple floors and can say that the Hilton is gorgeous. I live in the South Loop and have walked by the hotel multiple times but had never been inside- it gorgeous to say the least. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly to myself and team members. All of the rooms we used were clean and fully stocked at all times with anything we asked for. I would absolutely come back as a guest and will be referring family and friends to stay here during their next trip to Chicago.

I was given a grim grey room with a tiny bathroom, but that wasn't the worst of it. The room faced an inner courtyard and the noise generated inside (from a giant AC unit?) there was so loud I only got two and half hours sleep. I couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked. I cut my stay from two nights to one night and now I find I've been charged for two nights even though I checked out. I've been staying at this hotel for years but never had such slipshod service. BTW, the room was 1820--avoid at all costs.

This was terrible for the amount it cost. There was blood stains on the sheets and some other unknown stains. Don't expect any amenties that don't cost extra. $15 a day to walk on the treadmill. Super slow Internet, that of course was extra. The TV screen in the room was not working properly. The windows leaked water into the room. Overall I would say that looks can be deceiving and not to expect much.

Historic Chicago hotel icon, located in the constantly evolving South Loop neighborhood. Recently re-vamped and updated. This Hilton property has high service standards and contains most any amenity desired. Great restaurants, market, store, and FedEx business center on site. Highly recommended!

Beatiful hotel, friendly staff, and great rooms. Great amenities! Gym was amazing! I stayed here for a conference with over 2,000 people and the bathrooms and hallways were still clean! Great location, waking distance to lots of great sites.

The hotel itself and the location are great. I do want to warn everyone that this place and the internal shops are extremely expensive. The rooms are not too bad, but the internal restaurants and the gift shop are insane. After a very thorough but unlucky local search for some neosporin, I was able to purchase a small tube for $15 (normally retails at $5-6). Come prepared. Thankfully, there are a decent amount of local grocers and bodegas to buy stuff outside this place. It's a very short walk to many excellent restaurants.

Location amazing, venue beautiful, large rooms with comfy beds and friendly staff... what more do you want from a hotel.

10 mins walk to The Bean , 15 mins walk to Solider Field and you can taxi to pretty much anywhere in Chicago within 15 mins (without traffic)

After flying in from Atlanta, we made it to Hilton Chicago and were trying to check-in. First, the front desk clerk gave us a hard time checking in. So, we asked to speak to a manager. Then, the front office manager, Aubrey Parpan, took a while to come out and when she did, she gave us an even harder time. As a manager, regardless of any situation, we would think of her to make our experience easier and more enjoyable, instead she was incoherent, rude, not trying to listen to us, and very unhelpful. We have never had this issue before at any other Hilton hotels (ATL, MIA, N.O., Iowa, San Diego... etc.) until now and we are very disappointed in Hilton Chicago.

Great location, able to walk across the street to be at Lake Michigan. Parking garage was easy to get to. Close walking distance to Chicago hotdog and pizza restaurants which is nice since driving and parking around the city can tough.
