Always a good time at Chocolate World. Clean and precautions taken as much as possible.
Always a good time at Chocolate World. Clean and precautions taken as much as possible.
This is the most amazing place ever. Everything Hershey that you could ever imagine
Family just went coco for chocolate, activities (create your own chocolate bar), and shopping. Spent a few hours and few dollars (all extra, the tour and entrance are free, parking not).
Sweetest place on Earth!... in ALL kinds of weather!
Kinda boring money pit. Maybe if you're just REALLY into chocolate, but I'm not, so...
The free tour is extremely missable. Really more of a big candy store than anything. Food court is okay, though. If all you want is a novelty food court and candy store with a ton of choices (and okay prices), 5 stars. If you were expecting some sort of chocolate factory experience beyond that - as I admit i was - 2 stars for sure.
Cool place if you've never been there before. And great place for the kids.
Was nice...but I wanted to see the real factory. With that said, the chocolate confections were wonderful.
Wonderful place. One of the best to visit at. They give a free ride of how the Hershey chocolate is made. I love that place so much. I visit there every time I visit Pennsylvania.
Pretty cool place. The while Hershey experience is pretty neat. I would suggest only taking children between the ages of 5-13. Not sure younger or older kids would appreciate the experience as much. Neat free tour. Candy store is massive, anything and everything you could ever want.
Had been to this place 3 times so far with friends and relatives, kids loved this place and got sugar high . Make your own chocolate, trolley ride, 4d movie, chocolate tasting tickets can be bought as packages and there is a free chocolate making ride as well. Definitely a good and memorable experience. It's crowded on the weekends. They also have Hershey's amusement park with lot of water rides and a stadium for music concert. 2 days trip to this place could be well spent if planned properly.
If you love chocolate
It's a must
Great place with the family. Prices are a little high but it's expected.
****Avoid**** Way over priced. Priced at about same cost as amusement park. Everything is made in Mexico assembled only here. Big let down.
Loved the trip and bucket list taken the grand kids back
Amazing place!!! We about went crazy in there. Haha. Went on a Monday, so it was pretty empty which was the best of all.
So many fun things to do here! There's a free tour but we spent the extra money to make our own candy bar, take a trolly tour to learn about the history of Hershey & watched a 4D movie.
You can't get better prices and they have all the chocolate their
Fun , exciting. Super friendly staff, great products, Hershey's legend is awesome.
Lot of fun, great to have family time and a lot of things to do...
Lots of delicious chocolates, cookies an treats. Love the dark chocolate ( has a good variety to choose from) I wish stores would carry that large of a selection!
Went there with a bunch of 3, 4 and 8 year old kids and they had a blast. Make your own chocolate is must do. 4D movie was not at all good.
Love this place for it's variety, presentation, kids will enjoy,u have trending feel to pick everything, very tempting
Very family friendly and more affordable than the Disney and Six Flags parks. Clean and well maintained as well.
Didn't have much time to take in the whole experience but the guided bus tour was extremely informative and well worth the cost and time. There really is a lot of chocolate history located there.
The gift shop and cafe is also worth a visit if you're looking for chocolate to take with you.
Very nice place for the whole family aimed at little ones. Prepare to spend anywhere from $15 to $100 to experience all it has to offer. The free tour ride is awesome but short. Around 8 mins. Other than that strollers are permitted inside except for the 4 or 5 rides they have so they encourage you to leave them outside in a strolker parking area. Very easy to get them in and out. Restrooms are clean and no waiting even on the women's. Very nice to spend a couple hours making your kids smile.
It's just a over priced gift shop. Cute things, but again, gift shop
Had a great time roaming around here. If you want anything Hershey related (cloths, pillows, mugs and of course candy/chocolate) this is place to go. Lots of things to see and do. They even had several place to eat.
Awesome place for families! I would put 5 star for: clean restroom with shower, 3 different type of pools, staff friendliness! Would come BACK!
Pretty neat experience! Way too many people for my comfort. People just stop walking in front of you and don t move. Very rude and hard to get around with small children.
The tour is free and neat to see. Won t be back.
Chocolate World is a beautiful, fun, happy and family friendly place! Must do is the Chocolate Tour + it's FREE!! FUN 4 ALL AGES!!
If you like Hershey's Chocolate, this is the place to be. So many varieties of Hershey's items are here under one roof for you to stick up on. Cases are good deals. A number of fun activities for the kids and family to do here. It gets crowded during the regular season though. It's a great place to visit and during a hot day, great place to cool down when at Hershey Park.
Buy tickets for the activities days before visiting to guarantee you get your desired time slots.
Awesome town ! Cool Amusement & water park , the history of hershey company museum, kids can create their own candy !
We had a great family experience yesterday! With the new protocols, everything was very organized and appropriately executed. The kids, big and little, all had a ton of fun!
Good place to take kids out
Chocolate factory demonstration is nice
Chocolates are not cheap here
Great experience that will keep you busy for hours. Try to get their early so you have enough time to look at everything. It was fun to make your own chocolate that you could take home. A little pricey though.
Hershey's chocolate World is truly a awesome place for chocolate lovers of all ages! It's very large and well put together with awesome functions like create your own chocolate bars and naming it, with plenty to see from a Hershey Chocolate Tour that's free of charge and pretty deliciously educational...the best kind in my book! Lol there's 4D movie to watch & other activities as well for the whole family! We a pretty impressive food court selection of awesome chocolate goodness like S'mores to Chocolate dipped cheese cake on a stick, even normal food selections like pizza, burgers\etc. To a pretty impressive salad vendor so everyone will be satisfied!
Over crowded, and they dont make huge Hershey almond bars
We are from Illinois so this was our 1st time there. We visited on July 14, 2019. We got to go through the little tour ride. Which was amazing! But as we exited the ride and was making our way to the gift shop area to explore the factory more the power went out. The generators kicked on but we only had 20 minutes to shop before the registers closed. That was a bummer because there was so much to see in the shop. Overall what we did see was amazing!
They are always improving and adding new services. Fun for the whole family. You could take a historical trolley ride complete with a hilarious one-man show or take a ride on a virtual tour and learn about the chocolate making process.
Enjoyable ride through the 'factory' is a must for children. You can find all types of chocolate in the store.
Always a Must stop when being at Hershey park or in the area!!
Impressive display of chocolate production. Ride moves too fast to take it all in.
Recently went here on December 21, 2015. Our room was right next to new pool they are building. Really like the Chocolate Tour Ride. For the build your own candy bar, you had to put on a funny looking hat! Chocolate lip balm, too! MUST GO.
It's a madhouse inside, but the ride through the simulated chocolate factory is fun and very well done. There are lots of helpful employees all over. Souvenirs are pricey.
Great place to take the family. We rode in the simulated chocolate factory and learned how they make Hershey Chocolate. They also had a nice gift shop, but it was rather pricey. Later when it got dark, we drove through the outdoor Christmas light display.
Very big store and free ride. Store is a bit expensive, but not awful prices. A large selection of candy and novelty candy at fair prices.
Good experience. I enjoyed the free chocolate experience tour.
They offer a nice chocolate tour. It is free and a major attraction there.. kids love it. We did not try the other attractions. It is just chocolate after all.
Great part of the Hershey amusement experience. Be prepared for the crowds. Everything seems to move quickly regardless of the crowds.
Loved every minute. It was a bit crowded. I missed the chocolate house because of the crowd. But all in all a very enjoyable time.
i love the hersheys products, but i drove 5 hrs , and disappoiment because hershey have the fake tour factory, i went before anothers factorys and the tour is in the real factory
Hershey chocolate world is fun, but was very crowded. It is better to go during the week.
We live here and love this place. Family habit to ride twice before a snack.
Such a great experience. Everyone should check it out if your out that way
Such a fun place to go see! Chocolates and candy EVERYWHERE - with a fun "how it's made" tour ride that you can go on. It has a couple restaurants to eat at. It's free to walk in and check out and it has other activities you can pay to do if you want.
We had an amazing time there. I recommend it for everybody.
Perfect picnic spot for family and kids to spend a weekend day.
Other than the long lines (as you should expect at a amusement park) it was a great experience, I would recommend you get the fast pass. Fyi dont forget to go to chocolate world theres lots to do and try a delicious cupcakes.
If you love chocolate this will be the place to be the smell of chocolate is in the air even in the amusement park
Best part - you get a free candy bar at the end. There is this circular moving platform, that can feel a little dizzy to get on. Also this place with its very confined lines can get very loud ! If you have an infant or a kid that cannot walk and talk yet, there must be no reason you must be getting on this free chocolate factory tour. Also the chocolate factory tour is a simulated factory - and not the real production line.
Great place, just unfortunate that parts were breaking... The create your own chocolate wasn't on :( great chocolate though
This place never changes. Perfect pit stop if you're in the area.
This was an unremarkable experience that did not compare favorably with Cadbury World in Birmingham England. It was not awful and I did appreciate Chocolate World being free but there was very little information and the ride was clearly designed more for children than for thinking adults. It seems like the point has to do more with the gift shop than with experiencing something unique or unusual.
I remember taking this tour when I was a kid and the smell of the chocolate and chocolate bars were actually being made here. I don t think that is the case today a lot of it is projected images but it is still worth sitting in the car and going on the tour.
Really fun and educational place. I highly recommend the historic trolly ride it's worth the price. There is also a lot of free stuff to look at and explore. And if you stay for less than 3 hrs the parking is free.
Always a great time. Now if we could just eliminate the tourists, it would be that much better.
I'm quite sad to give Chocolate World only 2 stars. However, I'm quite certain Milton Hershey would share my dismay at what Chocolate World has become versus the original factory tours. I took one of the last of those tours with my father when I was young, remember the original Chocolate World, have been to Hershey as a son, father and LEO so many times I know it as well as my hometown, and have seen Chocolate World morph into what it is today.
Today it's a giant money crunching way for parents to be separated from their money for candy and novelties. Little attention is even paid to the "chocolate making tour." I don't think it's been updated much from its opening in 1973. Instead, parents part with hard earned money in what is a giant store and snack bar. Nothing is free and most can be pretty expensive for the average family of four.
I don't think Mr. Hershey would have supported it and I can't either
Haven't been to Chocolate World in a long time. Had a blast with my best friend and we are making memories on our spring break!
Such an awsome place. But you need at least a 2 or 3 day admission to enjoy it all
