Needed an immediate appointment at the BMW service...

Needed an immediate appointment at the BMW service center in Boston, and was greeted with prompt service on the same day. I received excellent service through the service advisor, Dan Blash, who was able to diagnose the problem and get the car fixed within a few hours. He gave me a detailed description of what the problem was and the options to fix it. I would highly recommend this service center to everyone!

Kevin was not only very knowledgable about how to find me the right set of used cars to choose from that matched my desires and my price range, he was also extremely accessible throughout the process. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

I love the service when I bought the car but the service center is aweful!!!

I went to the service center and when I picked up the car, the cash next to my cup holder is allllllll gone!!! There is two $20 bills and $10 of quarters. I did not realize until 30 mins before they closed. I called and the guys from service center told me that their manager will take care of it. Waited for 15 mins, no call from the manager. I called again and the guys said

"My manage is BUSY too!!! He will chase it down and give you a call in the next few days."

It was on Mar 29th. I called several times after that and never heard back from them. This is unbelievable....

THE STOLE FROM YOU and the manager didn't care at all! Worst service center ever!!!!

Very professional and extremely helpful, Nick Lagas, Jano Letaif and Melissa Steffy were superb making my experience even better. I will definitely return when the time is right!!

Ahmed. He's a hero. My mother was in search of a ...

Ahmed. He's a hero. My mother was in search of a car, and for and as a last minute look we wanted to check out BMW. In short notice he was able to setup a showing/ drive of a vehicle and had it ready to go. We decided to go with a different car and took it for a spin on a different day. And the following day we were able to decide, and made a purchase. The sales transaction was smooth, but there were some little issues with the car before we picked up the car. Even though we picked up the car shortly after, Ahmed was diligent in keeping us in mind to get our car fully good to go. Ultimately my mother is extremely happy with her car, and with the service. Looking forward to coming back to him for any future car purchasing needs.

I leased my car at Herb Chambers in Boston and Hadi was my sales person. He was truly a professional with great mannerism, honest and prompt. He went beyond the call of duty to provide me a great leasing experience. He got the car that I wanted from another dealer and delivered it to my home when it was convinient for me.
Recently, I had my car serviced. All the folks were pleasant and courteous. They had my loaner car ready, the service advisor called me when the car was ready to be picked up. When I got my car back, Hadi was there to greet me and to make sure all the services were done. The car had been washed and cleaned inside out and the performance was as good as the first day.
I highly recommend doing business withHerb Chambers in general and Hadi in parrticular. He is truly a great guy to know and to do business with.

My son and I stopped by Herb Chambers Boston BMW just to look around while we waited for a appointment later in the day. It was our good fortune to chat with Sheraz Sheikh. He is low key and yet would always pass along good information about BMW automobiles. He allowed us to drive multiple X5's. We felt the 2019 X5 that had been a executive loaner with very low mileage was a good fit for us and to replace the car my wife has been driving since 2012.
Sheraz made the purchase process and the pickup day extremely easy.
I enjoyed doing business at Herb Chambers and have spoken to other departments and everyone is helpful.
Thank you Sheraz for a most enjoyable experience.

I m going to leave this three star review for the time being. This dealership seems like it is at its capacity to give the adequate service and customer attention that is demanded for BMW client. I have just recently moved here from Houston Texas and considering this is the only BMW dealership even remotely close by I am very disappointed so far. I have called them today and ask them to charge my car for when I pick it up tomorrow going to change this to a four star review if they charge it and bring it down to one star if they don t. OK so they did charge my card for me and Mike Dunne was by far the most helpful and the most personable and had a great knack for customer service I highly suggest you ask for him if you re ever going to the service area of this BMW dealership

The Herb Chambers dealership in Boston is the best dealership I ever been to. I go there for all my needs and services from buying a new/additional car to repairs and maintenance of my existing once. They always take a great care of me! Exceptional customer service is what keeps me coming back! There was never a time when they would not go above and beyond to provide the best customer service and an amazing experience at the dealership. Nick Matrano, the service rider is The best. Nick takes care of all of my issues right at the moment. Can t wish for a better place to buy or service my cars! Thank you guys!!

Hello,

I am not someone who frequently writes reviews - good or bad - but after being treated so wonderfully by the employees at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston, I felt compelled to express my gratitude towards them.

On Memorial Day this past week, I was taking a road trip to visit friends in the city of Boston, and en route to my destination one of my tires popped. I was already running behind, and did not think I would make it to the gathering because it was a holiday and virtually none was open. I googled BMW Boston and called Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. A gentleman named Kyle, who works in the sales department, immediately answered my call. Although the service department was closed, Kyle, without hesitation, told me I could be towed to the location and that they would have a complimentary loaner vehicle I could take. I informed him I was running late and asked about timing, and he ensured me I would be on my way quickly. Not only was Kyle kind, patient and understanding, but he delivered on his promise. Upon arriving at the store, Kyle greeted me, helped me get my car off the tow truck and into a safe place, and had a clean and beautiful car waiting for me. I cannot express how kind and helpful Kyle was. He literally saved my day.

When I called to check in about my car, I received the same EXCELLENT customer service. Seriously, I was in shock. First, the General Manager Melissa answered the phone and was extremely attentive and kind. She was wonderful. I didn't feel rushed and she was very pleasant. She told me that someone from service would follow up with me right away, and, once again, the promise was followed through. Within a short period of time after getting off the phone with Melissa, I received a call back from Dan, who is in the service department. Dan was also extremely kind and gave me a thorough update on my car. As I mention, I live far away, and Dan was extremely kind when I mentioned that I would need time to plan to pick up my car.

So far, Herb Chambers BMW of Boston and Dan, Kyle and Meliissa, have been wonderful to work with. As of now, I cannot imagine going anywhere else as they have set an extremely high standard of customer service. I am extremely grateful for everything they have done for me!

We worked with Ahmed over a few days to weigh the pros and cons between the 5 series and the 3 series BMW. He was very patient with us, and objectively answered all our questions. When we finally picked the 3 series, he was also quite resourceful in finding us a color and interior we liked. We would recommend Ahmed at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston without hesitation.

Got a call for a free checkup and car wash. Showed up and asked them to check my battery and one of my tires. After an hour waiting James shows up and tells me they did some maintainence that totalled over a grand and I had a nail in my tire. My heart skipped a beat because I did not intend to do maintenance, it was not due, just wanted a checkup and wash. Thankfully, James worked it out and I did not have to pay a cent. Great customer service! Very appreciative

Dan Blash has exceeded all my expectations when it comes to customer service, professionalism, responsiveness, and overall experience. I recently leased my 2018 x1 and had several issues with my sales rep. He acknowledged all of my concerns and turned a negative experience to a very positive experience. He is my POC whenever I need anything at BMW and truly an asset to the organization! I highly recommend working with him if you get the chance.

She took care of everything in oder to lead to a desirable customer satisfaction outcome for me. Even months after my purchase she likes to check in and see how everything is going with the vehicle. Highly recommended!

Had an appt this am at 7:30 for an oil change and an inspection sticker. I arrived at 7:15. I declined a car wash since I did not want to spend that much time waiting. At 9:05, I was still waiting and when I asked how much longer I was told that my car had not been touched! I told them to just change the oil and forget the sticker. I was angry! I was then told they would do nothing and I could retrieve my car. 15 minutes later, they said the oil change had been completed and I had a new sticker. Really?? I have no paperwork re: the oil change. They did comp the cost of the sticker but I didn't even receive an apology. "Someone F'd up" was the explanation I received. The service manager was sitting right in front of me and never said a word. I will never have service there again.

I have been a client of Herb Chambers BMW of Boston for the last 9 years. Besides providing me with the Ultimate Driving Machine, these folks also do an amazing job with the customer service. From the moment I pull down the driveway, until I leave, all interactions with their staff are excellent. You can certainly tell that Herb Chambers makes their customers experience top priority.

Luckily the only times I have had to visit the service center are generally for routine service and just about every time I have been there the last few years, I have worked with Nick Mitrano. He is a pleasure to work with and very detailed as a service advisor, he also makes sure I always have a ride or loaner. He also keeps me up to date on the repairs during the day. I'm sure the advisors deal with hundreds of customers per week, yet are able to provide friendly, and comfortable service.

Also shout out to my always awesome, and amazing leasing agent Kevin Bugbee. Kevin has become a friend over my years with Herb Chambers BMW of Boston and simply goes above and beyond in every facet imaginable. He is a true professional.

I couldn't ask to work with two better people at Herb Chambers! Awesome work!

I bought a CPO car here almost 3 years ago. I ve had nothing but issues with the car and poor service from here. When I bought the car I noticed the right side of the car had been repainted that wasn t reported before they sold me the car. Mellissa Steffey denied me to be able to swap the car out even though there was a 30 day return policy for ANY REASON you aren t satisfied with the purchase. I asked multiple times to speak with a manger above her and was met with rude and non helpful responses. Now I m going to bring it to a body shop and pay almost $2000 to get the body work fixed since BMW doesn t stands behind the car they sell. The salesman told me how they go through everything with a detailed list but that is another lie. I ve had the frequent visitor tag on my paperwork for the first 2 years of owning this car...I ve spent more time at the dealers than driving the car.

Besides that..The service advisors change the prices and I honestly don t think most of them know how a BMW is repaired since I can t get a simple well explained response about issues with my car so I can feel confident my money is being well spent. I recently went here for a 40,000 mile check up that was priced at $77. The service advisor Higor said the $77 charge was for an oil change and not a 40,000 mile check up and that the price is more than $77 for an oil change so he said he had to charge me $89. So what is the $77/40,000 mile check up listed on the invoice for? He honestly couldn t explain and said I would just need the oil change to be up to date.. yea I m confused from that too so I m currently at Sudbury BMW almost an hour away cause I m afraid that BMW Boston will make up more prices that they can t explain.

I've been to a few BMW dealerships, but nothing like this one. If you're looking to buy, especially for the first time, I HIGHLY recommend working with Stephanie P and Mike Perry. I had the pleasure of working with the two to purchase my 435i and I could not be more satisfied with my experience. Stephanie was delightful and helped me land on the perfect car in the exact color combination I hoped for. Mike Perry was great from start to finish. He made the process super easy and was extremely efficient every step of the way. I'm thrilled to have such a great car with the assistance of two awesome people :-).

From the services being done to why I needed them, made me feel comfortable with Herb Chambers. After a long, drawn out, and unsatisfying experience at a BMW dealership in a different New England state, I called Herb Chambers BMW of Boston to see what inventory they had and if they could sell me the car I had been waiting for at the other dealership as quickly as possible. I was very pleased to first speak with K.C. who understood my situation, worked to accommodate me at MY earliest convenience, called me back when he said he would, and set me up with a great client advisor/salesperson. The client advisor, M.C., had already gotten to work pulling the information on cars with the features I was looking for that were in stock at Herb Chambers and at other dealerships on the east coast. It was all so smooth, painless, and such a contrast what I had previously experiences at the prior dealership. By the end of that visit, I had made my decision on a car that would have to be shipped up from Maryland. M.C. was upfront about how long the process would take to get the car, have someone register my car for me in my own state, etc. Both K.C. and M.C. kept me very well informed (again, a contrast to what I previously experienced) throughout the next two weeks until the car arrived and then also made sure to check in and answer questions about the car in the weeks after I had made the purchase. Bottom line, they are friendly, efficient, and top notch. No schmoozing going on, just good car salespeople trying to sell you a car within your budget that you'll really enjoy.

shady. same tire became flat 3x in less than 2 months. It was my mistake to take my car there for a flat tire to begin with, but I was very busy, and I thought that I could trust BMW dealership to do a decent job. They changed the same tire 3 times within two months and charged me each time for a brand new tire and valve.

Just had another terrible service experience here....

Just had another terrible service experience here... ZERO follow up/communication on status of vehicle that was in for scheduled svc./maintenance and recall repair. Was disconnected 4 times while on hold waiting for status up-date, no reply to text message, and main operator unable to reach ANYONE in the svc. dept 3 times. After several unreturned calls was connected to advisor who told me vehicle was ready for pick up and implied I didn't see/respond to text or email status up-date. When picking up the vehicle I pressed about lack of communication and was told that they use a "call center" in TX, and often don't receive messages or voicemails in timely manner. They also confirmed that NO text or email was ever sent. From 1st phone call at 9:00 to pick up 5 hours later this was completely frustrating experience.

By far the worst dealership I have ever visited. I went in to test drive the new 5 series and 3 series. There sales guy Sheraz basically rushed us through everything, actually told us that the test drive has to be a quick one (you really think I'm going to spend $60k plus and get rushed?) and at the end he stood up while we were asking about different offers.

Complained to the survey girl Stephanie and expressed my dissatisfaction and I never heard back. I went to Audi dealership in Brookline and was more than happy to earn their business.

It is ALWAYS a pleasure to go to BMW of Boston for anything! Sales, service, etc..... The staff is helpful knowledgeable and quick to assist you with all of your needs.

Mark K. in the service department makes himself available whenever you need him.

You will not get better service than at BMW of Boston. From Hadi, to Melissa, Mark, etcccccccc there are too many to name but I think you get what I am saying.

He is a fantastic communicator and has exceptional customer service.

Buying a car is awful, right? Not here. We were determined to buy, had appointments set at 3 dealerships -- and that was just on Day 1. We never made it to Day 2, or to Appointment 2 for that matter. This was mostly because of the low-pressure, high-engagement of our experience with Sam Hesketh-Tutton at Mini. He was patient, knowledgeable, nice. When we got a bit of cold feet committing to a purchase or lease of a new Counryman, Sam showed us a nice array of CPO cars and we found "Winnie."

The experience was so positive, we bought a second Mini a year and a half later. Worth a look-see if you're in the market for a Cooper.

I bought my first car from David Lopez and his team and I have to say I'm very impressed by all who were involved in helping me buy my 2014 Countryman. From Mark Ravin who advised me on Countryman maintenance to Sarah who took my mom and me for a test drive on the Countryman, to David who was very knowledgeable and helped take care of my needs from A-Z including obtaining a rental car while my Countryman was being inspected and detailed. David and Moustafa were expeditious in getting the necessary papers done and I was able to drive my car home in 30 hours. Everyone I interacted with at Herb Chambers BMW was excellent, fun, and great all around. Thank you!

He helped us to save us over $1400, given the warranty has been over 4 years. We lived in New York and just moved to Boston. Looking around to trade in our 2 cars and leasing 2 new cars from BMW since we are so happy with the BMW 7 series but wanted to upgrade to the 760 and all wheels drive so good for the coming winter. And also we heard and watched the video of critic comparing the Range Rover to the new x7 (7 seats) SUV...very good review on BMW...we own 4 Range Rover but costed a lot and especially the maintenance fees after the warranty...we are not that happy with our daughter's Evoque and wanted to trade in...so we stopped by Herb Chambers and met and greeted by Ahmed Jabrane... he is the most sincere and hard working sales person with great attitude and knowledge. He spent the whole night and effort to get us the deal until 11pm. So we got all the paper works done and got the new 760 the next day!!! Also, the X7 SUV is awesome too. So 5 stars and will purchase from them again in the future!

We just purchased a 335i Msport 2013 from Herb Chambers BMW.

A wonderful car buying experience, 5 STAR is well deserved. The sales advisor (Ahmed Jabrane) was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient throughout the process - and extremely helpful with taking care of big problems and small things that always comes up during financing, the inspections, and the delivery. A big thanks to him for making our car buying trip worthwhile.

Both myself and my wife appreciate the experience - definitely way up the notch above previous car dealerships. The Herb Chambers pricing idea is helpful too. Highly recommend their BMW showroom on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston if you're looking for one.

I wanted to take a moment to thank Jason (Rocco) the Sales Manager and Chris in the Service Department for going above and beyond when I brought my car in for service 2 weeks ago. I brought my BMW X5 in because it was overheating. After leaving my car Chris contacted me within an hour to let me know that it was my fuel pump. Chris also informed me that I needed and alignment and one of my tires were wearing and I would need to replace the tire. I asked Chris was this part of my tire packaged that I purchased when I bought my car and Chris believed that it was not covered but would look into it. I then gave Rocco a call and explained my tire situation and Rocco informed me that he would also look into it for me. When I picked up my car I came to find out the tire ended up being covered under my package and I only needed to pay the deductible which really surprised me. I recently switched from Mercedes to BMW and I have to say this has never happened to me when in all my years driving my Mercedes when it came to service. I want to thank Rocco and Chris again for looking into my tire situation further and Herb Chambers BMW of Boston for continuing to provide outstanding service

I have only experienced their service department, but I have been very happy with their service. If you can get Nick as your service advisor I highly recommend him - he helped me navigate a situation that would have been a VERY expensive repair with BMW and get it done at no cost. Their service team has been responsive, communicative, and helpful in the best ways. I'll keep bringing my car here for service for sure!

I have been going to Herb Chambers BMW in Boston to have my car serviced for over 5 years. And in that time I've had the same service adviser, Darin Ellis, and he's amazing! He makes sure that whatever issue the car is having is taken care of; I'm always offered an alternate vehicle so I'm not loss for a car especially with my hectic schedule; and the car is always done in service at the time Darin says it will take to finish. I'm always satisfied and he is always super knowledgeable and I always leave the dealership feeling great! If you ever have an issue with your BMW, take it to Herb Chambers on Comm. Ave and make sure you see Darin Ellis! He's the MAN!

I put a lot of miles on my car each year for work and therefore, tend to purchase a new car every few years. I ve bought many cars in my life, but this is my first BMW and my first dealing with BMW of Boston. I could not have been more satisfied, in both my car and the exceptional service I received from the moment I walked into the showroom. Mike Perry helped me at every turn of the car buying experience. He answered all my questions and helped me choose the car that was right for me. Although Mike was my primary point of contact, each and every person I dealt with, was professional, courteous, willing to go the extra mile, and above all, made me feel very welcome, comfortable and secure at every at every step of my purchase. Called service to pickup a part (wheel center caps...

Called service to pickup a part (wheel center caps w/ BMW logo). The guy working said they have the part and quoted me $21.00 for the four pieces. I showed up to get the part (drove 45 minutes) and the same guy I spoke to said he misinterpreted what I was describing for the part. On the phone he was very confident and said yes they have it and asked no questions even before I finished fully describing. Turns out they have the actual caps that was looking for but instead of $21.00 for all four pieces it was $17.00 per wheel cap. The level of incompetence is embarrassing and truly insensitive to the time of customers. AVOID this dealership!!! I also asked to have the general manager call me back and guess what...yea that never happened.

Just picked up my 3rd BMW in the past 6 years from Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. I can not overstate how informative, pleasant and professional my salesperson Nick Lagas has been at every step in the process of purchasing and owning a BMW. I custom ordered my new X5 and Nick was armed with all the information I needed to custom build the perfect car for me. The car arrived earlier than expected, exactly as ordered and was prepped very nicely for delivery. Lamar (? last name), a very personable and knowledgeable delivery specialist, walked me through all of the highlight features of the car and I was on my way.

While I certainly love driving a BMW, it has been made all the more pleasurable over the years due to the attention to detail that has been afforded me by the sales and service staff at HC BMW of Boston. He was very professional and thorough with all the information I needed to know. On the other hand, Herb Chambers has sold me a Porsche, two BMWs and a MINI.

Yes, there is a reason - the Service! It is so good, it is almost laughable what I had encountered elsewhere. The Porsche was purchased in Somerville, the others at Commonwealth Avenue.

There is no difference in the Service between the two locations - both are superb. (Now, there is a race shop I deal with that is also quite good...but I digress..!!)

You may go for the automobile, but you will come back for the Service.

I purchased a BMW 4 Series Convertible back in 2015 from Abdou Merhab at Herb Chambers in Boston and had a wonderful experience. I went in for my first service today and was so impressed with my interaction with the personnel there that I had to write this. Everyone , particularly my service adviser Matthew Baker and Peter who took my car in were just unbelievably professional and extremely courteous. The way each service adviser came out to talk to people in the waiting room and empathize with them when the results were not good was so very impressive. I have driven a BMW for 18 years and I have never had the level of service that I received today from the Herb Chambers store. Nor have I seen so many experienced service advisors and service providers at any one dealership. Very impressive. I will never buy a car anywhere else!!!

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Bugbee. I came in wanting to buy an X3 but I didn't want to be sold anything extra or go through the usual dog and pony show. We went for a couple test drives, looked at some options, and arrived at a fair price in just two visits to the dealership. While I was waiting for the new car to be delivered, my old car needed emergency repairs. Mr. Bugbee took my car to be fixed for me and personally handled all the annoying details of registration transfer, trade-in, insurance, etc. He followed up with me several times after I got the car to make sure I was happy. I'm currently having a minor issue with the car, and he's helping me deal with it. I would highly recommend him. He's also quite a funny guy!

If you call about a car that has already been sold they will tell you its available anyway. Just so you can waste your afternoon, drive over there and have them "try" to sell you a different car. Not only did the person tell me the car is available but she also told me that if anything were to change before the scheduled test drive, she would call me. She obviously didn't. Unreal.I cant believe a bmw dealer would rely on such scummy tactics. Time to change brands.

We have had multiple bad experiences here since purchasing our BMW 4 years ago but it wasn't until our last service that warranted a 1 star review. The service advisor was adequate and we had no issues. He sent over a quote of work to sign off on and we did. When our service was complete we picked up the car and headed to the cashier. This is where we had an issue.

The cashier did not acknowledge us and upon checking out the price was ~$6 off. I asked why and the cashier said the quote was wrong. Knowing that it is not legal to bait and switch a price, out of principle, I asked for the original price. We were polite and courteous and we were immediately met with resistance and hostility. He said that is the price we are going to pay. I simply stated that we would only pay the agreed upon price and if there was an issue, get a manager. He proceeded to yell across the service floor, embarrassing and shaming us, by saying to the service advisor we were asking for a discount and that this customer was asking for "only $5 off the price." It was rude, unprofessional and unnecessary.

The service advisor immediately helped us, agreed with us and moved on. The cashier still finished with an attitude, did not acknowledge us and ended our transaction.

I honestly expect, at the least, SOME respect when dealing with a mistake made by the dealership. Considering we will be in the market of purchasing a new vehicle next year, I can assure you we will not be returning to any Herb Chambers dealerships. Having bought automobiles at Colonial, IRA and Lexus of Watertown, we know there are several options for us that will treat us courteously and with respect.

After my many emails, writing my first review below, and some time had passed they got in touch and reimbursed me for 2 hours of labor which I appreciate. Glad to see they admitted to making an error, but it still does not inspire much confidence. Additionally, I obtained a second opinion about all the additional work they recommended on my car: the mechanic said a lot of it was definitely not needed and that the parts were all in good working condition even though this BMW dealership claimed they required replacement. Be careful to not get tricked into purchasing additional repair services which are unnecessary. My experience at the parts department was much more positive than at the service department, I ordered a new key from them and they were fantastic.

I believe they grossly overcharged me for replacing a blower fan motor. I e-mailed the service adviser 3+ times to inquire about why the number of labor hours was so high but never got a response. From my first interaction with this dealership, I would unfortunately classify them as untrustworthy.

I had an excellent experience purchasing a new car at Herb Chambers BMW. Omar was my sales rep and he was very attentive and accommodating during the selection process. His knowledge of the vehicles and availability helped me to find and get in to the perfect car quickly and effortlessly. Chris was my genius who showed me the features of the vehicle. He was very patient and his knowledge on the features and ability to explain them in a way that was easy to understand and implement was outstanding. Overall a great experience and I would recommend them both to anyone looking to get a new BMW.

The service department is awful, avoid at all costs. I am 3 for 3 of having my car in for regular service to show up at the end of the day and not have it be ready. This last time it was not ready, they would need another 2-3 days to get parts in, the charged me for the service they offered to comp for my troubles, and returned the car with a badly scratched front bumper. I have been contacting them for a month without any return call or email. It is shockingly bad that they don't even have the decency to return customer calls. Fixed another BMW dealer, something is clearly broken in this operation.

I was searching the BMW USA website and found a 2008 BMW X3 at Herb Chambers of Boston that I was interested in buying. I live in CT and was concerned that it would be difficult to buy a car in another state. I called and spoke with Hadi Eslami at Herb Chambers. He was very helpful throughout the entire process. Hadi provided information, photos and even coordinated getting the car to an independent mechanic in Boston to be checked out. Hadi also arranged for the car to be registered in CT and had it delivered to me. Hadi was great to deal with. Even though the transaction took place during the last two weeks of the year, Hadi called and emailed me throughout the holidays and worked hard to help get the deal done. The car was delivered in great condition and with everything that was promised! And the guys who delivered it were nice and reliable. I highly recommend Hadi and Herb Chambers BMW of Boston.

I purchased an 2019 BMW i3 two weeks ago. Ahmed J. was my salesperson and he is the consummate gentleman. Ahmed gives clear explanations and knows the i3 model inside and out. Got a fab price, too: Working with his sales manager, Giovanni, Ahmed offered me a price below MSRP and honored a $10k i3 rebate offer from BMW for AAA members; I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. It's the most fun I've had driving and knowing it's not adding to the CO2 problem makes it guilt-less fun.

If u take ur car in with problems, the best they can do is to tell you they cant replicate the problem and your car just runs fine
And also, i headed out on the side street to wait for my car. Of course the valet boy just stepped hard on gas pedal, accelerate hard then slammed the brakes to stop in front of me. I could not believe what i saw but i witnessed the whole thing. Maybe this is how they break your car faster than it should, get ready to pay more money after the warranty.

He makes you feel that there is someone who sees himself being on your side and try to help.He exemplifies what customer service is about or rather any industry where you try to give your best and not just work cause you have a job.

I haven't written a review in forever, but logged on to write one about the Service Sector of Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. I just picked my 2007 328xi up from there and the entire process was seamless.

I had two recalls out on my car so I called and made an appointment. The guy I spoke with to make the appointment was so nice and even walked me through what the actual service recalls were so I wasn't walking into it blind. I asked if a loaner was possible (not thinking it was, nor expecting it), and he said absolutely. We scheduled the appointment and everything in less than 10 minutes.

Day of appointment shows up (Friday) and I pull into the service line to wait for them to open. 4 other cars MUCH nicer than mine are in front of me. We all pull in, and the other 4 guys that get out are having a "who's is bigger" contest, and then proceed to look at me and judge the hell out of my car. I let them do their thing, give the tech my keys, and walk in the office. They're all demanding service for their "babies" and basically demanding loaners. I end up with James Gibbons who was one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with at any dealership. He got me in and out, and had me waiting for my loaner before the other guys could even sign on the dotted line (it also helped that while I waited for the loaner, they all passed me on the way out to wait for their Ubers).

I call later on that afternoon and they said the car isn't quite ready yet, and asked if I could stay in the loaner for the weekend. Weird hill to die on, saying "oh, I have to deal with a brand new BMW with 3,000 miles on it for the weekend" but sure.

Get a text first thing this morning that it's ready, roll up, and they've washed and vacuumed it for me, in addition to the recall work. They didn't make any money on my car since it was put in for recalls, and yet still took the time to wash and vacuum the car, warm it up for me, and make sure it looked and felt okay before I drove off.

Long story short, I had a great experience with them, and while I don't intend to ever have to bring my "old AF" car back to a dealership anytime soon, but if I do, I would go here.

Also, I'm looking to replace/update our company cars and will come back here. Hopefully the Sales Department will be just as good.

Customers beware!!! I went into the shop this past Monday just for an oil change. Regardless of the two hour wait I was told I still waited. The so-called complimentary car wash and vacuum when you bring in your car for service, it never even happened! But I did not complain or make a big deal out of it. When I got home I noticed that my front wheel had been damaged. I had my wheels professionally painted two weeks ago so I know that they where in perfect condition when I brought in my car. I have parking everywhere I go and don t need to street park anywhere for me to have done anything to them! One of the wheels had been scraped and a big piece of the paint had been chipped off as well as damaging the wheel. After calling the dealer multiple times and leaving multiple messages with various people, who told me the shop would takes responsibility that the manager would get back to me. I have not heard from anyone whatsoever. Every time I called, I was told they would respond for the damage they caused but no one has try to communicate themselves to me. I do not recommend the shop to anyone as they are unprofessional and irresponsible people and do not take responsibility for the damage they caused!!!

Extreamly satisfied , I don't even know where to begin! Bought a 2017 X3 this past week from James Ahern, I have never worked with someone who is so kind and diligent to getting the job done! The finance advisor Jeff was an excellent key player in this purchase really walked me through my options and selections of packages and last but not least Anthony the Sales Manager was truly a wonderful guy bargined a great deal with me and I ended up with the perfect car! I highly recommend purchasing a BMW from this dealership they are dedicated to getting the job done and pleasing their customers! James even personally delivered the car to my home so there was no hassle of back and forth to the dealership.

Overall experience with Herb Chambers BMW is always good but the worst part is Service advisor team!!! I'd been waiting for almost 20 minutes for someone to help me. At that time there's no other customers in the room but the service advisor team seems to be busy talking to each other and pretend not seeing me waiting at all. I was just sitting and waiting right in front of them and suddenly there's another customer walked in to the room and about to sit down next to me, one of the service advisor Christopher Mayer offered him to help right away which make me feel so furious and question about discrimination came to my mind. Is this because I'm Asian??. If the answer was yes that would be very disappointing with Herb Chambers BMW's how to train your people because I am a loyalty customer with BMW for so long. If I could rate them zero star I would do it!
