He is so attentive, and always goes above and beyond the call of duty. He truly is one of the assets of the dealership. One of his best traits is his patience. It's because of people like James that I continue to speak so highly of Herb Chambers BMW; and why I always return.

Bought CPO X5M here, and Justin Lessier made the process easy. I'm definitely a noob car buyer, and this was a car I wanted to jump on immediately. Navigating the process and securing the car made me nervous... so it was good to have Justin hold my hand. Definitely easier getting in and out of this place earlier or later.... and if you are going to do a test drive... be prepared for the fact that there aren't any places nearby where you can open the cars up.... you really need to be schedule the right time of day for that.

This has been a very inconvenient and unpleasant experience today.
When I made an appointment I was told it s an 1.5 hrs appointment. I figured I d wait and do some reading.
My tech advisor kept telling me another 30, 15, 20 minutes. He never came to get me or update me on increasing wait time. After I checked with him myself I was told my car was ready.
I ve been standing outside for 30 minutes and there is still no car.
I ve spend 4 hours here instead of 1.5 hrs. I m frustrated, irritated and over it.

My husband and I recently leased a new car at the BMW Herb Chambers in Boston and we had a great experience. James Ahern, our sales person, was professional, educated on the car and was extremely helpful. He spend so much time answering our questions, taking us out for test drives and doing research to find us the exact car we wanted and most importantly found us the price range we needed to be in. James did not pressure us at all when we had to leave the dealership and when we were ready to move forward with the transaction , James went above and beyond to help with every detail of the transaction. We would highly recommend James to all our family and friends.

I waited till I returned my lease before rating and they truly were awesome. I did not realize how good of a lease deal I got until I started shopping for other leases. I truly would have loved to stay with BMW but went with a non luxury brand to save some money. The lease return was very stress free and they were easy to deal with. Their service department is also very good as well and will bend over backwards for you if there is an issue.

Very bad experience from start to finish!!! Based on a very bad experience with them changed my car to a different brand. Service was terrible, nobody really cared, from the general manager to the service manager no solutions! They run like chickens without heads. You can tell they are under pressure but nothing is done! Get your act together Melissa.

Service and communication still sucks at this plac...

Service and communication still sucks at this place. Took my car in for 2 recalls (nice work BMW) and was told by Higor it would be a day, maybe early the next. After 3 days I had to call to see what was going on. No communication, no follow-up.

Got attitude from Richard (the phone secretary), who even lied to me, saying they don't generate a ASR (full service report) with recalls. B.S. After asking Alex, another service rep, I got a more pleasant response and my ASR.

One of the worst experiences for service I've ever had. Melissa, stop writing stupid replies to reviews pretending you care and actually fix the culture and customer service issues.

Update: I messaged Melissa, as requested to find out about the experience, and no reply. Nothing.

I'll give a zero if I could service is bad, sale is bad, finance department is also bad. needless to say they try to rip you off any way they can. My first BMW with Herb Chamber the sale man told me one interest rate but when ready to sign the paper they put in another rate good thing that I caught it before I sign the paper,2nd example the factory has a .9 percent interest deal but they would tell you they would give you a good deal for 1.9 percent instead, with my trade in that I bought from them before. I end up trading in my BMW x6 for another 2017 BMW x6 at Wagner BMW in Shrewsbury ma.I could go on all day about service.

The overall atmosphere was very relaxed, and no one was trying to hard sell. The entire process was very smooth and very enjoyable and by far the least stressful car buying I have ever done.

Kevin Bugsbee was my sales advisor, and you won't find a harder working rep than Kevin. I live quite a ways away from Boston, and Kevin was the only rep that was willing to drive halfway jyst for a test drive! A week later Kevin drove halfway to close the deal, congrats Kevin!! All other reps from other dealers near Boston wouldn't entertain coming halfway. Kevin literally goes the extra mile!

I have been servicing my BMWs at Herb Chambers of Boston for 15 years and Jim Miscioscia has been my service advisor for much of that time. Jim is the best---he is customer friendly, he anticipates what needs to be done , he makes sure the service technicians perform, and he follows up.

I also want to praise Miraldo, the head valet, who provides service with a smile--making the customers feel welcome and making sure everything was done right. In fact, recently when I came to pick up my car after service and he saw it had not been washed, he took it and washed it himself!

I had a very good car leasing experience. I inquired online about a BMW lease and Jason Chiu (Internet Sales Manager) e-mailed me all the information I needed. I setup an appointment to come into the dealership and I met with Ahmed Jabrane. We test drove a car and he answered all my questions and he was really great. I have to say I was really impressed with the dealership and the staff. I knew what I wanted, they understood what I wanted, and they made it work. They also offered the best price from all the dealerships I contacted. I highly recommend working with Ahmed, Jason, and Herb Chambers BMW of Boston.

Had a great experience today with my service advisor Jim Miscioscia. He took the time to discuss my concerns with my car, and addressed them. He also was willing to be technical in our conversation and not over simplify. The loaner was available as promised and I was in and out quickly. My car was completed on time. The experience I have with the service department makes a big difference in how I choose the dealer I will purchase my next car from. By comparison a different local dealer wouldn't provide a loaner for servicing a car with over 50k miles. Since I don't lease cars, and I'm not looking for a short term customer relationship and I told the other dealer they won't be getting a future sale or service from me. HC BMW is happy to service and provide a loaner for my older CPO 1 series. I look forward to working with Jim Miscioscia again next time I need service.

James in the service center is amazing! Went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was absolutely perfect. My vehicle only had 45,000 miles on it but was 3 weeks past the 4 year warranty, which I wasn t aware of. I called every single bmw dealership in New England (not exaggerating) and James was the ONLY ONE that was willing to fight my case with bmw to get it covered under warranty. I m so thrilled with my experience here, I live an hour away but no other dealership with ever be seeing my business, this is the only dealership I m coming to from now on.

I have always had a great experience, and as of late, I've been having more serious issues with my car. My husband brought my car in recently and he dealt with Mark Keohane and he was seriously impressed with how easy going and efficient he made the whole process. I ve been a Herb Chamber customer for the last 10 ...

I ve been a Herb Chamber customer for the last 10 years. My wife and I bought two Lexus a RX 350 and ES 300H from the Herb Chamber Lexus in Sharon. We had our vehicles serviced by them, the experience has been great.
Because of the good experience we had, we decided to purchase a certified preowned BWM 535i GT from Herb Chamber BWM of Boston back in August, what a terrible idea, a total disappointment and let down. The quality control was poorly completed by the dealership, they sold a vehicle with one of the front grills already damaged, it is not visible at first sight. Nobody brought it up to our attention.
Two months later, the light came on the dash board saying it needs service maintenance. I took the car to their service center, the electrical wires are damaged apparently caused by the mice/rodents.
I had to constantly call and email the service manager James Gibbons for update. He didn t return my phone calls nor his manager Hank although I left two voicemails. What a way to treat a customer by ignoring them yet I spent $850 for the repair work. I will never return to this place, we re looking into getting another BWM but they will not get a penny from me. I m all set with these people.

My experience with Omar was absolutely fantastic! He sold a car to my Mom, my brother and now me. Omar was super professional and outstandingly patient. His customer service and communication were excellent! He was super considerate and pulled all the strings necessary to get me in to the car I wanted. Omar followed up with me numerous of times to ensure I was satisfied and literally gave me the best deal. I also had the pleasure of working with Thomas. Thomas showed me everything there was to know about my BMW. He too was very patient and answered every and any question I had. Omar and Thomas are by far the best around there! I highly suggest working with these two. Omar makes the car buying process fun, quick, easy and simple while ensuring your needs are exceeded, and Thomas teaches you everything there is to know about your new Bimmer.

Terrible experience. Made an appointment by phone for a specific CPO, show up and was told the car wasn't on-site. First they said nobody was on staff to bring the car over, then a salesman finally offers to bring it so we can test drive. Didn't see the car until an hour after our appointment.

On phone they told us blue book trade in, after test drive would only offer several thousand less than bottom range of blue book. Mint trade in same year as CPO we were interested in.

They clearly just baited us to come in and never intended to honor the expectations they set by phone. This was just same old sketchy car dealership tactics. Never going back.

Great first experience at Herb Chambers BMW, which is great because as a parent and having a demanding new job, I need things to go smoothly. Arrived few minutes before opening, service dept opened precisely at 7am. Greeting by friendly and energetic staff. I needed specific investigation and maintenance on several things. With alacrity, Jim Miscioscia carefully listened as I iterated my list and paraphrased each item as well as clearly explained several options. Prompt shuttle service to work and the driver was friendly. As promised, Jim called me with succinct updates on findings. He's the perfect example of the person you want representing your company. Jim and HC BMW just "handled" everything and it was hassle-free. Overall, great user experience.

Service center actually stole parts off of my 3-Series, admitted having done so and claimed it was a mistake, and after a month have still have not adequately replaced them. 3 emails to Maddie and counting, radio silence, no response, completely unacceptable. Take your vehicle just about anywhere but here.

Getting my car inspected they told me the needed to change a bulb. I said ok, then after I paid $80 to change a bulb(needed the car) they said it didn't pass inspection for another reason as well. Treated poorly, and still had to pay for the bulb. If I had known it wasn't gonna pass for other reasons( tires) would have never paid for the bulb.

Yea, that's what the records show, fair enough I can respect that. The chain of events that happened was thus:
1. Dropped off car for inspection
2. Got a call from the service manager saying that my car needed a new lightbulb to "Pass Inspection"
3. Needed the car so I payed an exorbitant amount to change the lightbulb.
4. 20 minutes later, got another call saying that I needed "new tires" to pass inspection, (my tires are seasonal, so they look bald even though they aren't)
5. Told them I didn't need new tires, went and collected the car, we to a respectable 3rd party inspection garage, and got it pass no problem.
6. Still had to pay $80!!!! for a lightbulb

The Royal Treatment is what you can expect at Chambers BMW in Boston. I am on my third vehicle and am a lifer. Yesterday I rolled in for my 14k mile general maintenance on my 535xi. I was greeted, per usual, by the incredible warmth and grace of Meralda Lizardo, the head valet concierge. This guy could run the concierge at any of Boston's finest hotels. He is the first face you see at the service department which bends over backwards to ease the sting of the inconvenience of surrendering your wheels for the day. They provide a clean substitute vehicle or a shuttle van to your downtown office. They provide a service adviser who gets to know you and your vehicle in a personalized way. The car looks like new when you roll into it at the end of the day. They give you a sparkling wash and vacuum. I have enjoyed this consistently high level of service for 7 years and I shall be back to lease my next vehicle. Aaron Alsop and Abdou, my sales team have taken great care of me on every deal. It is a one stop shopping operation. No need to go elsewhere. These guys will give you the best price around on a new vehicle. Finally, the general manager, Melissa Steffy is there to take care of any problems. Fortunately, I have never had to turn to her for any problem as all of my needs have been met, and all of my expectations exceeded by this top shelf operation.

I recently purchased a 2014 BMW 435i at Herb Chambers BMW. My Sales Advisor was Brian Wong and I could not be happier with the experience. I never felt pressured and Brian was willing to work with me both on the price of the car and on my trade-in. We spoke before my initial visit and after sending him an online build of what I was looking for, he was well prepared when I arrived at the dealership, having already identified a car for me. More importantly, Brian was very knowledgeable about the entire BMW line and was able to speak to the differences in both engine and suspension between my old car and the 435i. This is the third BMW I have purchased, and Brian is easily the most knowledgeable Sales Advisor I have dealt with. He is an asset to Herb Chambers BMW, and I hope to work with him again in the future.

First of all, I love my new X-3 that I bought at Herb Chambers BMW last Fall. My sales experience with Ahmed Jabrane was exceptional! Then last week, I had my first service experience. I had a flat tire which was handled as an emergency without an appointment. Every single person I encountered at BMW was friendly and professional, including my service advisor Brian Lee, and both shuttle drivers. I was extremely impressed and pleased with the service!!

Most horrible place! Don't believe them. Talked to Janely Canuela on the phone and by email, she assured us the car is ready for test drive and waiting for us. We arrived 1 hr later from Lexington Ma, to learn car was sold YESTERDAY! This lair Janely didn't even come upfront to apologize. Liars don't care about customers, no place to park your car, btw. Smells bad inside, btw. I think they only have one toilet and don't clean it.

I have again received absolutely excellent, top notch service from Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. I just had my 2010 3-Series serviced here and the work done was impeccable. The staff all-around are excellent, from Meraldo and the team greeting me as I drive up, to the service techs, to the people behind the counter. I am singularly impressed with everyone I interact with.

All of this comes from the service manager, Kyle Curtis. Kyle continues to do an excellent job on my behalf. Kyle takes care of me. He provides absolutely top notch service, is a consummate professional, and goes above and beyond every time to make sure I am well taken care of and that the service is excellent.

My 2010 3-Series has 134,000 miles on it, and it continues to run like new thanks to Kyle. Kyle is honest, hard-working, detail-oriented, and does everything he can to make sure the job gets done and that it gets done right the first time.

I am sincerely and truly impressed with Kyle and his team at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. Reaching out to say Thank You Very Much to Kyle and his team.

Writing an update to my earlier review below as I wanted to write a review for Meraldo Lizardo. Meraldo is always there to greet people when they drive up to Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. Meraldo provides absolutely excellent, top-notch customer service. Just wanted to thank Meraldo for all he has done and for all he continues to do. He is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I very much appreciate all his hard work, dedication, help, caring and professionalism.

2015:

Have to write about my recent experience at Herb Chambers BMW of Boston. I own a 2010 328 xDrive with 127,000 miles on it. I brought it to Herb Chambers BMW of Boston and worked directly with Kyle Curtis, the Service Manager there. I have to say, I was blown away with the service. Kyle was absolutely superb to work with, and really worked hard to make the service experience top notch. I felt Kyle was honest, thoughtful, caring, and really got the job done. True white glove treatment. I would trust Kyle implicitly and will be servicing my BMW at Herb Chambers of Boston from now on.

Hi, I want to say I've always had a great experience with my service advisor Nick Matrano! Nick is awesome he always is polite and always get the job done as fast as possible. I've had two Bmw dealing with Nick and I gotta say I don't like going to anyone else besides him, we have a great bond and he understand me and my work background so he knows he gotta get me in and out ASAP! Nick makes you feel comfortable coming to Bmw on commonwealth ave.. He makes sure mechanics does a great job and if they haven't he will tell u to come back in and he will have everything squared away. I rate Nick as the best advisor your company has, he deserves a raise (lol). He gives all his customers 100 percent, I know this because I have buddies that deal with him as well and we all love him.

Excellent service and professional! I had a weird vibration around 40~50 MPH in my BMW. I searched online about this problem and turned out to be difficult to pinpoint it. Mathew Baker took care of the car very patiently and eventually fixed it. The car is as smooth as glass now!

I always have issues with this particular BMW location. This location will cost you more compared to other BMW dealership in the Greater Boston area. The detailing that cost almost $300 is not worth it. It is the equivalent of a $25 car wash. I can tell they did not even bother to polish and wax my car. The technicians working at this location are very careless. Multiples times my car was returned with paint chips and scratches. Moreover, this place is always super packed. I have requested a loaner weeks in advance but had to wait for an hour and a half to get an enterprise. It was not a great feeling walking into a department meeting late with your manager and director staring at you. Super disappointed with BMW of Boston. I will never come back again.

I've been a customer of Herb Chambers BMW for 20 years and in 2010 bought a Mini convertible for my wife. Since then, I have worked with Mark Ravin whenever I bring the car in for service. He's the best service advisor I've ever dealt with...responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and accommodating. No matter how small the problem, Mark always solves it with a smile. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with and you are fortunate to have him as a member of your team.

I wasn t really considering buying a new car last week but I stopped by the showroom over the weekend and fell in love with the new 2018 BMW x3. I had the pleasure of working with Mike Perry and he made the whole buying process a real pleasure. He was a real professional, taking the time to clearly explain everything and making the whole buying process easy and painless. I also enjoyed working with Moustafa Hamouda, Business Manager who made the settlement process a breeze. I felt really well taken care of by everyone I had the pleasure of meeting there but kudos to Mike and Moustafa! Great job, guys.

Richard was an absolute miracle worker when I went to lease my M4 via European Delivery. He was so patient with me in making sure I knew all about the steps that needed to be taken to lease a car like this one. It was truly painless. I recently took my 2008 BMW 328xi to Herb Chambers BMW of Boston for an oil change, after becoming dissatisfied with another local BMW dealership's service department. Jim Miscioscia was my Service Advisor. My Multi-Point Inspection Report came back showing that I had an oil leak and needed a valve cover gasket replacement. Jim noticed that my engine was covered by a 10 year/150k miles SULEV warranty (Super Low Emissions Vehicle), which my previous dealer never told me about. I scheduled the repair, a $900+ job totally covered by warranty.

Everything about my experience at Herb Chambers was first-rate, from the opening phone call through service check-in, dealing with Jim, the actual repair and finally, a quality carwash & interior vacuum. I highly recommend this dealership!

I recently had an experience with a gentleman in the service department that reminded me of time in America when good old fashion customer service was the way business was done.

In a recent visit I met James Miscioscia in the service department. My experience with Mr. Miscioscia was a good one in every respect.

He was courteous and professional, very knowledgeable, but most of all he had patience with me in explaining the issues I needed to have attended.

All in all this was a good experience, Mr. Miscioscia is a credit to himself and the Company.

I definitely recommend this location for your BMW purchases. This location is conveniently located in Boston, and you will likely come back here both for your future vehicle purchases and for its service center. I also recommend looking for Ahmed Jabrane for help with completing your purchase because of his excellent work and customer service. Ahmed has always been in contact with me since my first BMW purchase in 2009 with e-mails every now and then or just saying hi when I come in for service. He is very helpful when I began looking for a new vehicle recently and always offered the help I needed in multiple ways (e-mails, phone calls, in-person). I am working with him on my new purchase of a BMW soon, and the experience/interactions have all been enjoyable. I am happy to say that I will continue to stay as a BMW customer (maybe for the rest of my life) because of Ahmed's great work and help.

Jing was very helpful since we stepped into the dealership, and walked us through pros and cons for each of the available cars. My husband and I have gotten 3 BMW's through Ahmed the past 10 years. He is super friendly when he sees you at the dealership even when you're just there to get some service done on the car. My experience this time around was great, as usual. Ahmed makes the process of selecting and locating the car with the options you desire seamless. You walk out feeling happy instead of ripped off. One other thing I appreciate is the communication. He is quick to respond to e-mails and responds to each inquiry thoroughly. There is nothing worse than waiting for someone to get back to you when you're the customer. If there are any rewards or recognition programs at Herb Chambers, I hope he gets one! I've bought cars at the Herb Chambers Mercedes and Herb Chambers Infiniti dealerships as well and my experiences with Ahmed are the best out of all of them.

I GOT A 2017 CPO HERE IN JAN 2019. 6 MONTHS LATER THE FRONT BUMPER PAINT IS FALLING APART, TAKE IT TO TWO DIFFERENT BMW DEALERS THAT TELL ME THEY DID A BAD PAINT JOB IN THE BUMPER, PROCEEDED TO CONTACT THE SALES PERSON ABOUT THE ISSUE AND NEVER HEARD BACK.

NO WAY PAINT CAN GO BAD IN 6 MONTHS, DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR DO NO BUY HERE

I am writing a review in regards to BMW X 3 that I bought recently at Herbs chambers and my experience with Lindsey McCane who is BMW genius. The only reason I will go back to buy another car and will put good words is because of the staff like Lindsey.
Honestly we didn't had good experience with one of the Staff at Herb chamber when you first went there and thought we will never come back . The only reason I will go back is because of the good staff like Lindsey and Melissa .
Lindsey was very professional and took time to explain me everything . She answer all of question with all the details. I would highly recommend all to work with her and she is very good asset to the Herbs chamber.

UNBELIEVABLE! SHAMEFUL! LIARS!

UNBELIEVABLE! SHAMEFUL! LIARS!
NEVER go there PLEASE. These ppl are just flat out LIARS. I am a a CURRENT customer of this dealership, currently leasing X5 with them. they called me themselves to come in for a pull ahead program and when I went there - remember, just because they asked me to - their manager Nicole said they cannot offer what was discussed over the phone but can roll my remaining 3 payments into the monthly payment of the next car if I lease it with them. In other words, they wanted me to make monthly payments for two cars and keep just one for no good reason. What?? Do they think ppl are crazy?

On top of that, she tried to sell me a different car by saying that the car I was promised over the phone is not appropriate for New England weather. Not just that, when i insisted to get that car she came up with following justifications;
1. Website is faulty, we cant be responsible for what on the website, really? Is this what they are trained to say?
2. Car was sold and I can show you the papers
3. When asked to show the papers, she said I dont want to deal with you guys since you have been rude to me. At the end of this review, i am not angry I am amused.

The service department is a disaster. The service manager, James Gibbons, is unhelpful. He is also condescending, arrogant, and rude. I have had to go there due to the recalls on my BMW 330XI. Otherwise, I use an independent service shop where "condescending, arrogant, and rude" are not descriptive.

Well done, James! Now I have another good story to tell regarding not only the incompetence of the Service Departments MANAGERS but also how Herb seems to employ only real schmucks (look up the origin and use that) who check their ethics at the door.

This was the second X3 I purchased from Sheraz Sheikh at Herb Chambers BMW. It was a simple and easy process. It was time to trade in the 2010 with 129000 essentially trouble free miles. Sheraz is a relaxed sales guy. I honestly feel that he is more interested in getting his customer what they want versus making the sale. I told him my parameters and he delivered a car at a fair price including what I considered a fair value on my trade-in. Could I have found something for a little less money? Maybe. But what I ended up with a car I m happy with at a fair price.
