I just purchased a 2021 Honda CR-V from Hendrick Honda on South Boulevard in Charlotte NC. My salesman, Chris Robinson was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Chris provided me with all my options and explained them in detail. Chris was honest, polite and very informative. Chris made the selection process easy. When I am ready to purchase or lease another vehicle, I will definitely be reaching back out to Chris. Chris deserves a raise!!!!

We had a great experiance at Hendrick Honda the process was the best I have ever had at a Dealership and I've bought a lot of cars and trucks in my day. We worked with Greg Thomas, he and Shawn worked out a great deal for us. We looked at lease or purchase and found that a lease would be the best for my wife and I. We got the perfect car but wanted to add a pin stripe and as we were filling out the paper work Larry Kluttz a manager over many of the Hendrick service and body shops stopped what he was doing to get the pin stripe done. Tony was also great in the finance department he explained everything so we could understand our options with the lease, and last but not least Mary in the title department was great with answers when I called the next day with questions. I would and will recomend Hendrick Honda to anyone who is looking for a new or used car they were great!!!!!

Purchasing our CRV was a no hassle pleasurable experience. The entire staff we dealt with was very professional well verse on all aspects regarding the vehicle. Mr. Brad Thompson our sales person was wonderful, he was upfront on all our questions or any issues we had.
Prior to making our decision we research numerous dealerships Myrtle Beach S.C to New Bern N.C, and costco purchasing program, not so wonderful. We received the best price at Hendricks Honda Charlotte N.C,
resulting in a 4 1/2 hour trip but well worth the trip.

My mother is 78 years old and English is not her first language. Bennie exhibited patience, kindness, knowledge, and the utmost care. His follow through was exceptional - all questions were answered in a prompt, professional manner. My husband and I are so impressed, that we are looking forward to purchasing our next vehicle from Bennie. Bennie has smashed every stereotype associated with car salespeople imaginable. My daughter took our car in for service. The mechanic pressured her into thinking she needed to either buy a new car or spend over $2000 to fix it. He also lied and wrote on the paperwork that she stated there were oil stains on the cement where she parks.

Disgusting that he tried to take advantage of a young person in this manner. We have bought 7 cars here and will never fraternize Hendrick Honda again.

My whole family has purchased several vehicles over the last several years from this Honda location and have never had a problem. I received a phone call that I could trade in my vehicle for a lower interest rate. Everything was fine until the dealership messed up paperwork and did not communicate the delay with me. Two months after purchasing the vehicle I was told that I never made a payment and then was bullied into making a payment over the phone or it was going to be sent to collections. There was no letter or bill sent to me stating an error. Very unprofessional and rude practices for a customer that has been returning for years.

Hendrick Honda (Bradenton, Florida) is by far the best not only Honda dealership, but dealership that I've ever been to.

Customer service is extremely important to me and even though I drove over an hour to come here, I'm glad I did.

After a bad experience at the Toyota dealership next door, I stopped here. No plans to, but noticed they had an Insight...I took 4 steps out of the car and was immediately greeted by a man on his way into the showroom. One minute later David Sanders was asking me if I needed assistance. From that moment on, my husband and I were taken great care of.

David is new to the dealership and was very open and honest with us when we asked a question he couldn't answer, he asked us to wait while he got the right answer. For me, his honestly was refreshing and the reason I continued to make the purchase there.

Honestly, I would've loved to buy my car locally for future routine maintenance needs, it's nice to have the dealership local...I also would've loved my first choice of color, but they won me over with their amazing staff. At one point my husband even said to me "we can get the same car cheaper at the other dealership" I looked at him and said "the service here is great and they've got nothing but good reviews...the only highly rated dealership (that I've looked at)...that's gotta mean something. So we stayed.

After meeting David and working with him for a few minutes, we met the sales manager, Rodney. Rodney was amazing; he was friendly, never pushy...even when talking numbers and he was a genuine personality. He didn't rush us through anything, didn't try to muddle the paperwork and try to get me to sign something completely different that what we previously discussed or what was coming out of his mouth at the time (this has happened to me at other dealerships...they're saying one thing and the paper I'm about to sign says something completely different). I was even okay with paying more than I had originally wanted to pay because the service was that good. When I'm getting quality service, I don't mind paying a little more than I had originally wanted to. This is my second Insight. I purchased one last year that was unfortunately totaled in a head-on collision last month..so I was pretty dead set on the same number I paid for my 2013 that was brand new at time with the exact same mileage...but settled for a little bit of higher number because of the outstanding service we received.

We test drove the car and David flat out said..."well, I'd show you all the features, but you know more about the Insight than I do!" Thank you, David for listening to me and respecting my time and intelligence. He also didn't ask us to take him to Starbucks so he could have a break and get a coffee while we waited in the car...no, seriously...the guy at Crown Honda (Pinellas Park) did just that....

David and Rodney took great care of us, worked with us on numbers and negotiations and never once did I feel uncomfortable or awkward. When we came to an agreement, we met Luis in the finance department and even the signing of the papers and handing over of a large sum of money was a pleasurable. When I can go somewhere and spend over 20 grand and call it a pleasurable experience, I can assure you that the service is top notch. This coming from a girl who doesn't like spending $35 on a haircut...the service was THAT good.

Six hours later, we were on our way back to Tampa in our new Insight and were feeling happy and refreshed. When can you honestly say you left a car dealership feeling that way after six hours...new car or not? Only at Hendrick, Bradenton. I'll definitely be back in a year or so when we're ready to trade-in my husband's car. It's worth the hour drive.

The amount of time it took to purchase the car was...

The amount of time it took to purchase the car was horrendous. Best to come on a full stomach because you WILL be there past the next meal time. I purchased a used car, traded in my car, I have to admit they did give me a good deal on the trade in BUT at the same time, less than a year later I already had to replace the battery and tires. I have always purchased used cars and never had to replace either of these things less than a year's time. When I replaced the battery, at AutoZone, the battery had no brackets to lock it to the base, the AutoZone tech didn't mention that to me so at the time I didn't know and the loose battery ended up breaking off a tube from my radiator. Yes the AutoZone guy was the last one who had his hands on it but it was initially Hendrick Honda's negligence and they would not own up to it at all and I had to replace the whole radiator! I will never buy another car from them! The whole free oil change for the fist so many thousand miles is a joke too when a simple oil change takes well over an hour to do with an appointment!
Also, I did call Anne to discuss the matter as suggested in the reply below and left a message. A week has past with no returned phone call.

I can't say enough good things about Hendrick Honda and my buying experience there. Tanner Fisher went above and beyond to help me through an extremely difficult three weeks of trying to purchase a vehicle where every single obstacle was getting thrown my way. He was extremely patient and kind and gave me a fantastic deal on a vehicle and an even more generous deal on a trade in. The entire process was stress and hassle free. I am so grateful to Tanner and the rest of the staff at Hendrick for their help. It's this type of service that keeps me coming back to Honda and keeps me in the Honda family.

Honda claims it was already like that. 2012 honda pilot. They are a bunch of crooks breaking things or loosening supension parts so I spend more $ on repairs.

Asked to see preowned 2016 CRV. PRICED AT 20K WITH 35 to 40k miles. Decided on one to after some time learned it was sold. Found another again time passed to learn it was also sold. Finally after their embarrassment we located one we liked every much with more features than we were expecting at a fair price. Once the hunt was complete the process became pleasurable. Unfortunately the process of viewing vehicles on a very hot day took much longer due to a failure to be organized.

Walked into the Hendrick Honda dealership looking for a used car and Melissa the representative walked right up to my husband and asked what she could do for him. We were looking for a used Highlander but my husband and son decided that we should test drive a Preowned Honda Pilot. We immediately fell in love with the car and are driving it today.
One last thing, Melissa was fabulous; she helped us in every way, went over the car with detailed information.

UPDATE: I have revised this review from 2 stars to 1 star. After a few months with the car, I had an abnormal noise. They said it would take a day or two to find the noise so I asked for a Loaner car. "We dont have loaner cars, but you can rent one." They actually charge customers to rent a car while a car is getting fixed (shouldn't be in there in the first place). Very disappointed that this dealer does not provide loaner cars to its customers. Ive had Toyota's, Mazda's and Fords; they've all given free loaner cars, no questions asked. If I knew they didn't give loaner cars, I would not have got the car from this dealership. PLEASE READ THIS EXTENSIVE REVIEW! This dealership experience was a mixed bag. They had the car we wanted, a very specific trim and color, but took over 3 hours to locate it in one of their remote lots.

The second thing that we were not happy entirely with was the amount of back-and-forth we had to do with the guys in the back that actually produce the finance/lease numbers. It took us three times for them to disclose the interest rate on the car loan. After looking at that, we figured leasing may be a better option.

Negotiating the lease was not a problem, but when we brought up the trade in the middle of it, the mood quickly turned. They took about 45 minutes to appraise the car (has never taken that long to get my car appraised). Once it approached the 30 minute mark, I knew for a fact they were nitpicking tiny little details on the car I brought into trade. The trade was in the middle of the lease, so it was a fairly new vehicle in great condition.

While it was getting appraised, I had to fill out a form telling them what the payoff amount was and other trim details about it. One section of the form, asked what the current monthly payment is. I was extremely hesitant to write it in because what I was paying was very high for that car (previous leases over on miles got folded into that payment). My goal visiting Honda was to bring my monthly payment down. They forced me to write in my monthly payment for the vehicle and could not understand why. They have the payoff info, the account number and the phone number for my current leasing company. What else do they need? The reason I didn t want to put in my monthly payment is because I knew for a fact they would try and match it/make it slightly higher.

Coming back to the foundations of the appraisal, I knew the market value of the car and have been offered higher than it at Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes and Ford Dealers. They came back with an appraisal $600 below market value, and about $1400 below what other dealers were offering. And the best part .the payment magically became nearly the same what I am paying currently. My suspicions were correct. They were firm on the appraisal and were using textbook sales tactics from the 80 s. Well, why don t you go to CarMax and get it appraised there? I said, Sure, I ll go there first and come back in a couple weeks. He replied Oh no, I meant you pick up the new car today and then figure out the trade later. There is negative equity in the car to begin with, so it wouldn t make sense to separate the transactions.

I walked out of the dealership and turned back onto South Blvd. Literally 3 minutes down the road I get a call from the sales guy Would you do it for x per month ? It was what I asked for originally, but they really wanted to see if I walked out or not. I agreed and turned around to sign the papers.

In conclusion, this is what I suggest for anyone car shopping in general. Never tell them how much you pay now, don t be afraid to walk out, and know what your car is worth. I spent a total of 8 hours at the dealer, which was insane, but with investing 6 hours of that negotiating/finding the car, I figured the extra 2 hours of signing papers would make sense.

The Honda of Concord location near Concord Mills is far quicker and more professional than the Hendrick Honda on South Blvd. Hope this helps someone!

My husband and I are very dissatisfied!! The two sales men promised things that couldn't be done. The worst part about, they didn't have the decency to call me or my husband back to let us know!!! The managers were no better! It has been over a month and we still haven't heard from no one. We now know that we were just a number for them. We went to their competitor and they told us what we could and could not do. My husband and I both agree that we will not purchase another car from Hendricks Honda, we will definitely go to their competitor to purchase our next van!!!

My service representative, Nick, was absolutely great. He was promptly at my car when I pulled it in the garage. While he helped me at the computer, he explained everything thoroughly and was extremely polite. When the service was completed, he again explained what was done and escorted me to the cashier who was also very pleasant. It is not often that every one you encounter in a transaction is pleasurable but this was the case. I would recommend the service department to anyone with a Honda.

My 2001 Honda Accord had been giving me a lot of trouble lately so I took it in for Service. Chris Curran was very helpful, promising to have it checked out thoroughly. Turned out it needed a lot of repair work and I really didn't want to put that much money into a 14 yr. old model. So I decided to trade it in and thought about leasing.

I then spoke with Vickie Athey about a 2015 Honda Civic, and she could not have been more pleasant. After she explained all the features and financing, we took it out for a test drive. Liking very much what I saw, I decided to lease the vehicle and now I'm extremely happy with my choice. I want to thank Vickie for making my experience completely stress-free....she was a TOTAL joy to work with!

When I arrived at Hendrick Honda, I was unsure of what vehicle was right for me. Immediately I was kindly greeted by a gentleman named Daniel Moreno. Mr. Moreno explained to me all I needed to know about the vehicles and kindly guided me to one that suits me. A reliable Honda Civic. He further answered any & all questions I had professionally and respectfully. I have never encountered a salesman so outgoing and intelligent, until I came across Daniel. I really hope the Company realizes what an asset Daniel is to their team! Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in a Honda!

Went to test drive a pilot and our salesman was great but when we came to negotiations the general manager came out and ruined the entire experience. He alone was the reason we didn't buy anything and will never buy anything from them again. Instead of simply and politely telling us he couldn't come down on the price due to demand, he basically said that all the rich people will pay him for this car and he didn't have to make any accommodations for us. He was RUDE, arrogant and condescending-even though I had a check in my pocket we walked out. I love hondas but this makes me want to switch to Toyota!

I just leased a car at this location and I was very happy with the service I got. Manny DaSilva was the salesman that took me and my dad through the process as smoothly and quickly as possible. I told him I had to go to work and he made sure all the paperwork was signed and I was out with my new car in no more than 2 hrs. He also found the time to show me how to operate certain functions in my car, and set an appointment for me to return to paint and clean my car's interior which was a part of my protection package. On both encounters, Manny was very friendly and helpful in helping me to learn more about my car and what the company has to offer.

I have taken my 2010 accord to Hendrick Honda off ...

I have taken my 2010 accord to Hendrick Honda off of South Blvd (Charlotte, NC) since I purchased the car in 2011. I recently took my car in and the service rep assisting me, Dennis, stated that I needed several things done to my car, including a power steering fluid, radiator fluid and brake fluid flush / replacement, all of which would run me about $400 to have done. Dennis was very pushy and acted as if he could barely spare a second to talk and explain to me what was needed and the costs associated with the services - very rude!
After I got off the phone with Dennis, I called Asia Works, a competitor of Hendrick Honda service department, and immediately the lady informed me that none of those things need to be done, EVER, for my vehicle. I promptly canceled the service request with Hendrick Honda and will never be taking my car there again to get serviced. Just makes me so angry to think of how many thousands of dollars they scammed me out of over the years I have been a loyal customer there.
Would give 0, or negative stars if I could. Shameful of them to take advantage of loyal customers in such a way.

From the moment I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately approached by Jason Levin (Sales Rep). He was extremely helpful and friendly. Later, I was introduced to Sean(Sales Manager) and he helped me out with a great deal. Gus(General Manager) was a very kind gentleman and greeted me with a big smile. When finishing up with the paperwork, I was assisted by Darrin Boatwright. He was very informative. Overall, I would recommend Hendrick Honda(south blvd) to anyone interested in purchasing a car. Ask for Jason Levin if you plan to make a trip to Honda. I'm happy with my purchase! They were never pushy and did not try to persuade you into buying things you didn't want or need.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The people who run this place are absolute crooks. I put a payment of 500 dollars on a car to hold it. When I put the hold on my card, the manager specifically told me that they would return my money if I decided not to purchase the car. I went up there on a Sunday and they refused to take my authorized check from Geico. I eventually found a much better deal at Renaldo Honda. When I called to request my refund, they informed me that I would not be able to get my money back. I drove to the dealership to speak with a manager and they asked me to wait until they were out of meetings. After 45 minutes, I asked the customer service associates if they were out of their meeting yet. They were not. After another 45 minutes, I went back up to the desk and they told me the manager wasn't working. I called the manager everyday for a week and he did not return my call. I finally told the customer service person what was going on, and she said that she would have him call me. He finally called me and he told me that he was going to keep my money even though another one of his colleagues told me that they would return it. They are some of the rudest people I have met.

He has been in touch with me to make sure that I am happy with my new car and has taken steps to provide me with some of the best customer service I have ever received. We had a great experience at Hendrick Honda thanks to Troy Rivens and Nick Walter. We wanted to compare the difference in size between the Accord and Civic and we loved the Civic.Troy did an excellent job helping us decide and Nick helped us in the finance office. They were very patient with us and our 2 year old daughter. Thanks for a great car and a great car buying experience.

Hendrick Honda at South Boulevard should be the model for all dealerships. Every employee that I interacted with during my purchase was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The dealership itself is comfortable and spacious. It is obvious the design was made with the customer in mind. I would feel comfortable sending my grandmother to this location to buy a car because I know she would be well taken of during her visit.

I purchased a 2017 Honda Accord Touring new in the fall of 2017. This was the third car that had been purchased from Hendrick Honda. Had never had an issue with the previous purchases in either sales or service. This time around, the purchase of the vehicle was simple with no issues at all. Manny was great. However, service was another issue. Really felt like they just didn t understand or care at all. When you can t explain why a car can t go more than 5,000 miles without new tires, there is a problem. Either with the tire or with your service department when the car is brought in on your recommended service schedule. I have called or emailed to complain or discuss my service contract and not hear anything back at all. There will not be a fourth Hendrick Honda vehicle in our driveway.
