Even though the headphones I was looking for were not in stock, the manager was super nice and helped with everything he could. He even recommended other shops shich could've carried that model. If I'm ever in Vancouver again in need of headphones, I'm definitely coming back to this place.

Great selection of headphones and the owner is very knowledgeable.

I've only dealt with the owner, but he is very knowledgeable and provides great service. Had some problems with a pair of headphones, he was able to fix them on the spot. Very large selection of stuff you can't find anywhere else at competitive prices (plus you can listen to everything there). The only place I go for headphones.

Remarkably friendly and knowledgeable staff in a nice, comfortable store. Buying HiFi can be intimidating and other stores I'd visited the employees were snobby or difficult but this place was fantastic. Will absolutely recommend.

I've been going to Travis for headphones for the past two years. Yesterday I walked in after I was having some issues with my headphones, he swapped them for a brand new pair no questions asked. Great store, great owner 5/5.

On my second set of earphones from here. The first were mailorder and the service was amazing. The second was in store earlier this year and it was great service -- talked about the pros and cons of the wireless earbuds I was looking at. I thought there was a problem with the buds, and spoke to the store and they were ready to help me out. Appreciated that even though I quickly sorted it was operator error. Great store - can't wait to go back.

An excellent little store. I happened upon it by accident and ended up buying a pair of in-ears (RHA MA750i) based on an in-store recommendation. The owner (I think?) asked me a few questions about current headset, etc., and made a great recommendation. What I really liked was that you can actually try out every headset on offer (they have little alcoholic cleaning wipes & clean off the ear buds before and after :)

While I love the sound of the headset I bought, there was a slight manufacturing issue with one of the ear buds (seemed like the machining left a little hard bit behind on the metal ear bud). I took them back the next day, and was promptly given another pair, no questions asked. Great, friendly service.

Honestly had a really good experience. The man who helped me (the owner I assume?) was super informative, attentative, and helped me choose a really good set of headphones. Really above and beyond that made the whole process a lot more approachable. Plus I got to try out a bunch of incredibly HiFi headphones which I never really get to do, so that was fun!

I've been shopping here for years and have nothing but good things to say about Travis and Headphone Bar. I know that when I go I'll walk out with exactly what I need and nothing more. It's a huge plus to be able to demo gear for yourself before buying as it's easy to get lost in the maze of different reviews and impressions online. Headphone Bar is the only Campfire Audio distributor in Canada and I'm very grateful as they've been some of my best purchases. Highly recommended!

The best service and most knowledge your going to find about headphones in town!

I bought this for my brother. Its paint was peeled off a little bit since he got it. He emailed headphone bar and they told my brother to pay for the shipping cost. Then my brother asked than why he should pay for shipping due to headphone bar's mistake. no response at all.

I have been a customer for a while now, but my most recent great experience warrants a review, finally. I bought a top of the line headphone, the headband of which unfortunately broke after three months. Headphone Bar was very understanding and accommodating and agreed to let me exchange the pair for another comparable brand. They even threw in a headphone stand for my trouble. Amazing customer service--and I'm far away in Ottawa. Not to mention several informative discussions about gear and hi-res music. Thanks guys!

Incredible customer service! They had a pair of headphones on sale so I sent them an email with some questions. They replied within a couple of hours of opening and gave very helpful answers. I bought the headphones off their website and they had them shipped within a few hours. I received them in the mail two days later. Amazing! Highly recommended!

It is a really neat store, it is clean and well organised. The people working there have great knowledge of headphones and are not trying to sell you something more expensive or something that you dont necessary need

Came from Vancouver Island. Took a ferry and drove hours just so I could try on several different models. Had no idea what I really wanted. Spent nearly an hour there and picked up my AudioQuest Nighthawk headphones which I'd never heard of until I tried them on there and was amazed. Spend hundreds between travel and the headphones and I'd do it again. They have headphones ranging from a $100 to over $2000. When I went they had a no return policy (understandable) so you better make sure you like your selection before you buy.

I was looking for a replacement for my old Shure E4 IEMs and started looking for local dealers. The Headphone Bar was easy to get to and seemed to have a more complete stock of Shure products, in particular the Shure SE425. I was encouraged to listen to several different recommendations with no pressure to buy anything and finally walked out with the SE425 and the optional in-line microphone smart phone cable. I also was introduced to the excellent Dragonfly in-line DAC but can't see using it in a gym or mobile application right now.
Travis gave me the best possible price and impeccable service. Very highly recommended - 5 stars!

Headphones and audio equipment is my absolute passion in life. I have bought stuff from this store in the past because they sell goods from brands such as Audeze and Focal that the big box stores like Best Buy dont. A local business well worth supporting.

As far as I know, this is the only store of its type in all of Greater Vancouver. If you are into the Hi-fi headphone or earphone scene, this is the place to go in Vancouver. Travis is very helpful and knowledgeable. Although the retail store is not open, my recollection is that it was clean and well kept. In pre-COVID19 times, it was great to be able to try on all the headphones and experience some truly amazing sound courtesy of all the hifi equipment (amps, DACs, etc) in store.

This is what I call a stand-up company. Very prompt shipping to Toronto, ordered on a Thursday and had my phones by Tuesday morning. Received a defective pair of headphones and I simply told them the problem and they sent me a shipping label to send them back to be replaced free of charge. Couldn't be more pleased with the service. Highly recommended.

They had a demo pair of high end headphones at a discounted price and I purchased it online. I called them to make sure the quality of the pair was still fine and there were no issues. They sent me a new pair instead of the demo since they tested it first instead of shipping immediately. I was happy that I received a new unit. Customer service is on point here. I would highly reccomend this place.

Biggest selection of Headphones and in ear monitors. Travis the owner is a great and honest person to deal with. He will give you his recommendations on what to try. One can spend hours here listening to cans. Location is much bigger here on Main St so more products. Parking can be tricky.

Great spot. Friendly, personal service backed by deep product knowledge. A highly curated selection of products across a wide range of prices and styles that weeds out the garbage so you don't have to. Feel free to try them, sync them to your phone, whatever. I found a great pair, and when I had an issue with a small manufacturer's flaw a few weeks later, they were switched out for a new pair immediately no hassle, no problem.

I went to their previous location on West Broadway. Price is on par with bigger retailers, but their variety is second to none. I was in to get 1 pair of headphones, but walked out with 2. Not because the staff kept pestering me (they left me alone the entire time), but because the headphones they had on sale was too good to miss! Definitely recommend.

i asked these guys for a cheap solution for bass boost and they were incapable of informing me about "Rockbox" which gives 24db bass boost for free with compatible mp3 players.

I recently discovered the Headphone Bar while researching some 'phones online and went in hoping to audition, if not buy, a pair. Travis was incredibly helpful, facilitated my listening tests from multiple sources, gave constructive advice and guidance without deliberately directing me to one pair or another and I ended up buying two different sets of 'phones. Great selection and atmosphere. If only more retail experiences were like this.

Had a problem with a pair and contacted the manufacturer. They told me to deal with the retailer. Gave him an email and he responded quickly and exchanged the headphones with no problems. Overall satisfied.

Superb assortment on hi-res audiophile equipment, always friendly and highly knowledgeable stuff. This is by far the best place in all Vancouver to buy high grade iem, headphones, dacs, amps, daps, cables, and more.

This place is incredible! Pretty much the only place you can test all headphone products they carry (unlike bestbuy, apple store and other equivalent electronics dealers who tend to only demo products for specific partners aka. beats etc.). The selection and focus seems to be on quality products that offer great value. The owner (I presume) was incredibly helpful and well informed, and the equipment he had in store for testing was also top-notch (myriad of high-end headphone amps plugged into laptops with various music samples). I was happy to give the Headphone Bar my business, and I am loving the product I purchased!

The place to go to buy headphones. Nothing like trying on 30 pairs before choosing.

We're extremely lucky to have a store like this in town. You'll not only find the majority of the highest rated if lesser known (outside of audiophile circles) brands/models here, but you'll also be able to try them all on and listen to them in-store to make sure you're getting the right fit and sound for you. Their selection is excellent far better than the limited selection of overpriced "brand names" found in the big box stores. I've purchased two pairs of headphones here, and spent a couple hours listening to all that peaked my interest both times, and have been very happy with both purchases. I'll definitely be going back when I'm ready for my next pair.

I don't usually write reviews, but the my experience was just amazing here. The staff member that I talked to was very knowledgable and nice (i'm not sure what his name was, but he had glasses). The staff member helped me find the perfect headphones for me. I also enjoyed the great selection, as well as the fact that you can try one the headphones before you buy them. They have a great selection of in ear and over ear headphones. I will never go back to BestBuy or anywhere else to get headphones.

Nothing but a great store. Selection is wide, and great. Think less a shop pandering to the many and more a shop focused on products only of quality - anyone who can recognize good sound and a good product will appreciate this place. Owner was very helpful and patient, not once did i feel anything but completely comfortable. I took a ferry and drove here from Nanaimo just to come here and i would do it again.
