With my husband and I living in Harmony Grove this store has been extremely convenient when we need last minute supplies for projects around the house. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

After working here I can honestly say that the products are top end quality. They can sometimes be a little pricy but the store is convinient, many employees willing and able to help, unlike big box stores where you have to wander around to find employees who will sell you sub-grade products, Koltes does it right. Their delivery service is great too. With trucks large enough to handle even the biggest of load you won't be disappointed. Many people also enjoy the wide variety of plants during the flower shed season. Would definitely recommend over going to Menards and Home Depo any day. Go stop in and look around and talk to the employees, everyone is super helpful and friendly
Koltes is the quintessential locally owned small town hardware store. Great selection with everything you need along with outstanding customer service delivered by knowledgeable staff. Can't tell you how many times I've walked in with a broken or worn out item and left with exactly what I needed to replace and or fix my problem. Their lumber yard has always had what I needed and the guy we hired to build our deck says he gets all his lumber from Koltes, he says they're a bit more expensive than a large chain but the lumber is always good quality and they deliver.
Great example of a small town hardware/general store. Does have limited items compared to large metro stores. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for alternative repairs as well as offering a specific order process for odd items. Plus, free popcorn encourages browsing. Fifty cents canned sodas in front of store. I love wandering the aisles. Usually buy more than I planned.

This place is a joke, prices are outrageous, usually double the price of most stores. Not to mention customer service sucks major rear end, except Joel, he's cool. Ladies at the front counter give customers serious attitude and are completely useless in helping you. And the customer is always in the wrong in this store, avoid shopping here if at all possible.
