Harrods is always interesting to explore. I enjoyed a fine macaron and a cappuccino. Definitely worth exploring for it's fine lifts and tech goods. It's not the cheapest place in the world but it's fun for a few hours of window shopping.

The store looks incredible. Everything is stunning to look at, and each department have lovely pieces everywhere. The Egyptian motifs close to the stairs were very beautiful, and gives the visitor a sense of wonder. What brings you back to Earth is the price tag. Several products which I'd seen elsewhere for a couple of hundred pounds cost three times or more here. The grandeur ends when all you see seem to be more expensive than expected. A lovely place to visit, but value detracts from the experience quite a bit.
You know surprisingly not as pretentious as I suspected. Can t say the same for some of their customers. The security staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant when I asked how to find an area. They even politely asked a woman who tried to move me aside that if she could just wait until they were finished with me, they would help her with her query soon. Look it s Harrods so don t go there expecting cheap stuff. Saying that this reputation its earned as overpriced is somewhat dated. Yes things aren t cheap, but they aren t overpriced either. This is London, if you want cheap then you re in the wrong city. They have an amazing salad bar and food market with helpful and friendly staff and reasonably priced. For the quality of food you are getting I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn t breaking my bank account. Either that or maybe I ve been living in London so long I am just used to these prices. Either way I had a good time.
Too busy in August to truly enjoy the experience of this shopping center. A sea of people made it less fun to spend time there and the sales staff was seemingly very pushy and rude because the customers were agitated and rude.
Always fun to browse and pretend what would I buy if rich. Good access from the tube but no parking nearby that I know of. As always love the souvenirs and the food courts
Amazing, luxury and huge place for all brands from all over the world. But you need a fortune for that . Delicious restaurants in every level. Wonderful decoration and good location next to Hyde Park. There are many limited editions collection which can found only at Harrods. Also they do fantastic discount so you can find what you like.
Extremely disappointed with the cleanliness off Harrods. Food Hall dirty! Carpets curling throughout the building, it's in desperate need of a make over
If in London for the first time, I would say it's worth the experience to see this beautiful building - almost like a museum-like experience. Very extravagant and prices have no limit.
A wonderful store, full of history with an internationally recognised selection of goods. The building is tired although classic with well trained staff. Parking is terrible so Taxi or Tube an obvious choice.
If I could give zero star, I would do that with no doubt.
Last week I bought a baby stroller online at Harrods website with a cup holder as accessory. Stroller was canceled as it's out of stock with only the cup holder delivered!
Today I saw the the stroller in stock again so placed the order. Order was canceled AGAIN within 30mins for the same reason. The moment my order is canceled, it appears as in stock again! Called the customer service and the staffs basically give a feeling of: " I DON'T GIVE A SH..!". The staff even suggested me to place the order AGAIN! Money has been deducted twice because of this. It's a scam.
Terrible service, terrible customer service. Harrods dares to brand themselves as premium department store. It is actually the worst retailer I've ever came across. Feel being tricked. Harrods, don't play your customers. Honour your transactions!
that's all a lie an old myth and nothing gets worried or sent anywhere. Fairy tale! For the purchase of a camera battery was not just politely referred to a dealer in Oxford Street. Great from there but only the facade shines. Better to buy online at AMAZON. We are really more than disappointed
Of course it's famous. That's why there are so many tourists. And I know that this is not a cheap supermarket but it's not true that you can't buy there something. To the people who don't go to Harrods because it's too expensive for them: you don't have to buy a Gucci coat or the most expensive whiskey you can find. You're not committed to buy the expensive stuff. Why don't you buy just a glas of marmelade or jam made in UK (not China or Japan). Or what about a Pork and Stilton Pie, handmade by excellent chefs in Britain. And at the end, you don't have to buy something just because you're going to Harrods.
Super posh, super expensive shop, is not for normal mortals but is goodbye browse and see how different class of people live, the taste of food what ever you buy is exceptional , I give 5* , is not for me to do shopping in shop like this, but I'm fine to pop in to buy some tasty bites
In my opinion the recent redesign of the once marvellous food halls has now completely ruined them. Previously Harrods had managed to maintain a feeling of being a British experience, and represented the highest quality in everything it did, but now it ressembles a middle eastern shopping mall, and the once famous customer service appears to have also changed.
Sitting in the food halls was also a great way to feel that you had entered into a special world. Unfortunately, the makeover has destroyed that feeling and it is now a very bland environment which I feel no longer has any purpose, it has lost its feeling of having a special heritage.
So chaotically busy! Even the staff didn't seem to have much clue when I asked for directions to the coffee area, drinking and purchasing, some said it was closed due to work going on and some saying it was open, wasn't overly impressed buy the Christmas area either, seemed rather tacky this year.
Not for the faint hearted. If you like shopping for hours at a time for the most expensive things in London, then this is the place for you. If not, then go around the back and look at the sports cars parked there. Equally fun
Beautiful establishment where you get to see how the other half live/shop. Great area to see the latest sports cars #boysandtheirtoys. Great day out all the same
It s just a mall, don t see real different than any mall that has brands!! I think it s a matter of reputation it has only. I like the basement if you like to buy some gifts
There can be only ONE HARRODS!..where money meets class. My Billionaire lifestyle loading soon ...There is something about Retail therapy that speaks to one...when done CORRECTLY
This store has changed hands it used to be good.....they require in lots of areas improvement especially their window displays are very boring now. Once up on a time this was one of the top stores in the world...but not so high class anymore. Which is a shame.....
To visit Harrods is always an experience. It doesn't matter what you are looking for because you can find pretty much everything there. From food to autographed photos from famous people. Obviously is not a cheap place, but you haven't been in London if you didn't visit Harrods.
What an amazing place to visit and an absolute must for anyone visiting, whether you plan on purchasing something or not. You could spend days visiting all the shops. And the food court!! Spectacular all around.
I don't see the hype of this place, an overpriced tourist attraction. Not a true department store, in my opinion. The majority of products can be obtained in John Lewis or Selfridges for a fraction of the price. However, I suppose the majority of visitors visit to say they've been in Harrods. This store excels at this.
It used to be better. I asked the employees about a brand. They told me that it is was not anymore on their system so not in Harrolds. But I found it there by mistake while I was leaving the shop
As glamorous and magical as you would expect! There was a lovely Auburn haired girl on the food section that helped us and made sure we made it to the right place after asking for directions. The pianist in the tea room was definitely a highlight too :)
Stunning building with a fantastic variety on everything your heart desires. Always worth a visit even if it's just for roaming around and taking in the spectacular atmosphere.
Well what to say. The name tells it all. Quality products. All brands under one roof. You name it you'll get it. If you in London must come to Harrods.
