Love the classy comfort and hot pools. Rooms clean and spacious. Older section of hotel has poor sound baffling between rooms, so you end up hearing a noisy neighbour or shower, but a TV or music can cover that. Great relaxing stay

Not a bad hotel. It s loud and outdated. Lots of kids. Definitely not an adults relaxing getaway. The indoor small circle hotspring is quite warm. They supplied a tea and cookies every day at 4 for our stay which was nice.
However, most thing are outdated. You need to trust housekeepers to not take anything for there is no safe. The toilet is separated from the bathroom sink. There are HUGE spaces under the doors to the hall way and most of walls and carpets are scuffed and stained. Above my room the people were VERY loud dragging something across the floor sounding like thunder, hotels response to that was quiet time is 11pm

All in all it s very nice to experience the hotspring water and the views are beautiful. However this hotel could use renovations for sound proofing and making guests more stays relaxing.

We really enjoyed the pools and overall visit to the Harrison Hot Springs, but beware of rooms at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. Paying $300 for 1 night, I would expect an immaculately clean place to stay. There were crumbs on sofa, hairs in the bathroom sink and on toilet, as well as dirty floors. I understand this is an older hotel, but at that price, it s not excusable to not have carpet cleaners come every now and again and have better cleaned rooms.

Needless to say, we still had a lovely time, but Harrison Hot Springs Resort, you definitely need to check in on how things are cleaned and maybe include a continental breakfast at that price.

My girlfriend and I had booked a 2 night stay on Christmas day 8 months in advance knowing how busy Harrison gets at this time of year. When we arrived we were one of the last groups to check in. When we went to our room we realized that instead of the room with a queen bed we had booked we were given one with 2 smaller beds. Thinking that surely there must have been a mistake we went back and asked to be given our room. However we were told that a room with a queen bed was unavailable and the best they could do is offer an upgrade to a cabin with a 50% discount which still would have amounted to an extra $80 per night in addition to the 200+ we were already paying. We explained that we were not interested in paying them even more for their mistake and upgrading our room. I showed my booking confirmation which explicitly states this is a room with a queen size bed. We were given excuses about how this is a busy time of year and there is nothing else they can do. I asked how this can happen with us having booked our room 8 months in advance and was not given an answer.

After some discussion we were given the option of a free upgrade to a room with a larger bed on our second night and free parking for the two nights. The room change was a hassle as we had to stand in a line for half an hour on our second day, plan our day around this change and move our things. While the lady helping us at the front counter did her best to resolve the issue I still find it completely unacceptable that this happened especially in a hotel that charges such high rates. When people go on booking sites they search specifically by room or bed type. To us it was important that the bed is at least queen size which is what we booked and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that this is made available to us.

Otherwise, the hotel was OK. The building is definitely quite old. Our first room was close to the pool and quite noisy from the foot traffic (which is to be expected). The second room had a nice view of the lake and mountains but there was a distinct odor on the entire floor that was noticeable as soon as you get out of the elevator. I can't really tell what it is but if I had to guess I would say that smoking was allowed in the building in the past and the odor is still in the walls and carpets. It wasn't too bad though and our second night was quite comfortable.

Overall I didn't find the place to be anything special but the experience with the booking would definitely turn me off from returning again.

Hotel was incredibly noisy, mainly due to thin walls and floor. Although we asked for quiet room, it was not possible. At all hours noisy hallway ,children running and screaming down the Hallway were heard even when the door were shut and earplugs were used. We also heard every sound from the neighbouring rooms above and next to ours all through the night. The room was rather small but modern and well equipped with a heater, fridge and the attached bathroom was tiny but the shower was good. The room itself was quite comfortable and the staff were helpful but the constant loud noises made it impossible to sleep. If the rooms were better soundproofed, it would have made our stay much more enjoyable.
I don t recommend buffet restaurant in the hotel it s pricy and doesn t taste good at all ......

An incredible location set on the lake in between the mountains. We stayed for a night just to soak in the mineral pools. The staff were all really kind and helpful and made the experience all the more better. The rooms in the West wing were simple and clean and in great proximity to the pools. Even with a big conference here it didn't seem too busy. Going in January is lovely with the snow and the rain.

Service was excellent, we just came back from our honeymoon from the Harrison Resort and absolutely loved it
Everyone was so friendly! The Copper Room service was outstanding, especially when they found out it was our honeymoon!
If the rooms had beverage coolers that actually kept the drinks cold that would be a huge plus!

It is good and relaxing. Service is good. The sound proof is a bit weak. Also the hot springs are more like warm swimming pools. The food selection nearby (especially during lunch time) are limited and not worth the price.

Always a wonderful time at Harrison Resort. We spend all day and night in the hot springs, nice separate areas for kids but close enough to keep an eye on them. Perfect place for a winter warm up.

I was just at Harrison Hot Springs Resort (essential travel) during a regional lockdown due to the coronavirus and was not pleased with their (lack of) protocols.

While waiting to check in, I only witnessed one instance where the counter was wiped down between guests. I never saw any cleaning of high touch points (including elevator buttons, hand rails, door handles) for the rest of my stay. There are signs up stating capacities of the pools but absolutely no one enforcing it and was over capacity by my count in the late morning. About 40% of the guests wore masks. Harrison boasts on their website that everyone has a role to play in protecting themselves and others and that they will not be enforcing any protocol. While that is true, I found their lack of diligence to be reckless.

Now onto non-COVID related news: I had never been here previously and had heard the rooms were outdated. I didn t have high hopes and my room met my expectations (which was a good thing, I was afraid I was going to be disappointed). The pools were much nicer than I thought they would be and they more than makeup for the outdated rooms.

The food at the Lakeside restaurant was really good. You can get it and take it back to your room, there was no room service (not sure if that is from COVID or not). I was given a menu when I checked in and called from the room to order ahead - the person who answered the phone from the Islands restaurant really didn t sound pleased to take an order over the phone and as soon as I ordered the first item (ahi tuna poke bowl) she told me I had an outdated menu and needed to come down to the restaurant to order my food. Islands had a 30 min wait to order food so we ordered from Lakeside.

I had to travel there during regional COVID lockdowns and was also excited for the getaway to feel like life was back to normal for a night. While it wasn t an escape from reality the entire time, it did feel like that for a little while.

The staff is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. The pools are amazing and the people I was with who used the spa service loved it. My family has been coming here since before my time and I'm sure will still be going after. Love this place!

Beautiful everything, gorgeous view, delicious breakfast buffet, simple parking, friendly staff... No complaints. I love how late the pools are open, and the late night adult only hours are peaceful.

This place is in dire need of a renovation.

Our rooms werent ready during check in. Common areas and pools look decent but the rooms are absolutely dated and look not so nice. Balconies looked disgusting with mold and moss i didnt want to set foot out there.

Location is good, right on the strip and the waitresses here were working their butts off and were polite.

However i probably wont be back until they renovate the place since the rooms were so dated.

Really cool hotel with more hot spring pools than you can shake a stick at.

Lake view room upgrade is well worth it and make sure you get outside to the lake at all different times of day as the view is impressive in the morning, afternoon and evening. Even at night time, it's dark enough for a sky full of stars, so make the most of your time!

Walk 5 minutes up the trail behind the hotel to see the actual natural hot spring. They built a pipe to the spot the hot spring naturally forms at the bottom of the lake so you can feel how hot the water is (65+ degrees, so be careful!)

I was there for a wedding and the facilities were great for that as well.

Room quality is inconsistent, depends on what floor and side of the building you're on. Supposedly no smoking but every time I stay here I get cigarette smoke drifting over from a nearby balcony.

It's an old hotel and shows its age. The spa and pools are the main reason to stay here, and those are well-maintained and worth the stay even when in a sub-particular room.

Don't stay in the main hotel - the floors are solid but the walls are thin enough to every footstep (and every other noise) all the way up and down whichever corridor your room is on.

They have a great band that plays there and a nice atmosphere. The rooms are a bit dated. The elevator was broken when we were there so it was a long wait. Check out was a bit hectic as well as check in

i intended to come and spend my anniversary night here but after reading all the negative comments I am seriously hesitating... I visited this hotel years and years ago and the experience was nice. Although I already found the place to be overpriced for what they offer and the staff quite pretentiously superior. Now reading all the comments I see that this hotel is still overpriced for the service they offer. Pay parking???????? Bad food!!!!! Dirty!!! CHlorinated water!!???? woaw and on top of that the owner keeps on trying to justify why this and that !! Try bettering your service and stop viewing guest as milking cows might be a better approach. In the meantime, mr owner, I am sorry to say that your poor review score just made you loose a potential customer. Stop justifying, start improving is the key here!!

Stayed overnight in one of the most basic rooms in the original building, furniture was worn and dated but the bed was fine. View was of another building, there was no air conditioning but there was a ceiling fan. Noise from other rooms was the biggest problem, we could hear conversations quite clearly through a vent in the bathroom wall and constant sounds of footsteps overhead. We also heard a couple in the throws of passion as well as dogs barking.

Good hotel with access to good pools. Rooms are just okay with not so great soundproofing and squeaky beds. People talking next door can be heard talking at night as well. But great location and many restaurants near by. Great ambience. Would recommend this place.

Room: Furniture is outdated and the bed is soft. Channels on the TV didn't fit the resolution for the TV. A towel was stained and ceiling fans were dirty. Pools: Many indoor and outdoor pools. Hot, warm, cold and even one that is adult only.

This hotel has evolved over the years and some of the cheaper rooms are in the older wings. If your budget allows, get a lakeview room. The hot pools are the main attraction. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricey but the views of Harrison Lake are beautiful. Nice romantic getaway from the city for a night.

I stayed at Harrison Hot Springs Resort for a week-long professional education course. The stay was lovely. I had a room with a view overlooking the lake, in the West tower. What a great way to wake up in the morning! Visiting the many pools in the evenings is fabulously relaxing, and enjoying the meals is a treat as well. The food is great! Overall, a lovely place to stay.

This hotel needs a top to bottom redo. Not only is the newer east wing tower dated but carpets in the rooms are soiled, shower tiles have mold and the entire place does not look clean. The bright spot are the indoor and outdoor hot springs which are quite amazing. There are other hotels in the area which look better and warrant a stay. Harrison Hot Springs Spa nickel and dimes you on parking, in room water charges and anything else they can slide in like a lost wrist band for the hotel which allows you access to the springs but if lost cost you 20 dollars to replace. Total ripoff!

Mostly good. But when really cold some rooms heating systems are not effective. Especially when the wind howls. But you do have the lovely warm hot springs to warm your bones. Very friendly, helpful staff, delicious food in the Copper Room, good fitness centre and fabulous Healing Springs Spa.

The spa was great and so were the pools. We were well catered to by the staff. The only complaint was that it was busy. Probably due to it being just after the holidays. Our room was okay, nothing special but it was clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Had a great night at the hotel. Went with my wife and nephew. Had a nice swim in the pools at night. The pools were lovely and we enjoyed it very much. Our room was a standard room, nothing fancy but enough to get by. We had a complimentary breakfast at the buffet breakfast in the morning. It was your standard buffet breakfast. The omelette maker was very good as a few people we were with did enjoy one.

Great Spa/Pool and food, but... way overpriced room for the West Wing! It's really outdated, smelly and worn out. Heat was not working automatically, must turn on all the time, very cold at night with thin sheets and only 1 extra blanket. We thought, we can go for another Pool round in the morning, but with the room so cold, we would probably getting sick. The food (buffet), music (life band) and atmosphere at the Copper Room was amazing! We had a great X-mas Party! Love the Village at Harrison Hot Springs! Great park, shopping and restaurants. Recommend for everyone!

Sitting here waiting to check out, because even though despite the fact I called with 5 minutes before we checked out to have our room checked, once we got down to the desk we were told we have to wait for the room to be checked. The lady at the counter (Nikki) is extremely rude about this. Also decor of the building and rooms is outdated and it smells like a retirement home. Not worth the price you pay. Only saving grace of this place is the beautiful pools.

We were upgraded to the west tower on arrival and the room was very nice. We were on the top floor and had a pool view. Room was quiet except last night when a loud family was across the hall and coming and going all night. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was on the smaller side but had a nice shower with good pressure.

Nice and relaxing, great ambiance in the common areas and restaurants. The room was dated, could hear the upstairs people very easily and the hallway traffic, small bathroom (no counter space) and there wasn't much for tv channels. But the pools were lovely. The bed was very comfortable as well. The restaurant food was a bit pricey but the breakfast buffet was definitely worth it. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Was a nice little getaway, would definitely come back!

Definitely too expensive for what the place offer!
Hot pool are nice but not so clean, same for the building need to be cleaned!!! Outside spiders are everywhere covering balcony and the rest of the building.
The view on the lake is amazing. But I will is not call this a resort.
Reception very nice but staff cleaning very rude and not organized they push us for check out.
Parking ok but they don t have anything covered which make no so much sense pay it 12$ for day.

This has been a go to for my son and I since he was a baby. Within an hour from Vancouver and under that from the Fraser Valley this location has a beautiful sprawling assortment of hot pools which the hotel is somewhat wrapped around. Lake in front and mountains behind, this property has had several additions through the years. We prefer to stay in the East Tower, further from the hot pools but the rooms are more up to date and also closer to the Lakeside Cafe on floor two.
There is a fireplace in the lobby as well as a gift shop and a small cafe. Dining ranges from in room to pub fare off the lobby, casual dining or morning buffet in the Lakeside Cafe or fine dining in The Copper Room.
This resort harbours memories for thousands of locals and tourists.
The one thing I can't stress enough, and I'm sure I speak for any regulars to this destination is PLEASE put some revenue back into the property. It is in desperate need of a facelift. Lobby carpets, rooms could use a refresh, Lakeside food selection and quality has declined over the years as well. There is no question this resort brings in revenue as it's almost always full.
4 stars based on the memories.

We brought our dog (it's pet friendly) and really enjoyed our stay. The room was simple but very nice and hot spring fed pools were well worth the visit. They have pools of all different temperatures, indoor and outdoor as well as adult only areas which were greatly appreciated. My only issue was that they weren't very clear in advance about having to pay extra for parking ($10 per night) despite being a paying guest of the hotel.

The place was gorgeous. The rooms were well appointed (at least the ones on the west tower) we had a room with view and balcony in the 5th floor. Housekeeping was on top of it. I kind of wish they wouldn t take all the soaps even if they only been used one day. Seems wasteful. Staff was always nice and quite helpful. The pools were just as advertised. The hot circular pool in the spa was so very nice felt amazing.

The breakfast buffet wasn t the best. The food choices were a bit meh. The little cafe by the front desk has some nice sandwiches. I quite enjoyed the chicken fig and Brie one. I hear the Italian one was amazing by my kid. All in all it was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Great place, been coming here for the last 12 years without any issues. Our experience this time around differs from the last time a bit though.. so to start off we had a check in time of 4 but they didn't have our room available until 5! And then when we went in there weren't any robes and the bed sheets weren't tucked into the bed. Little knit picky things but overall good experience.
Edit: The pillows weren't the greatest (very soft) woke up with neck pain.

Nice hot springs that is not too far from WA state. Their hotel rooms are OK, but pricey; the hot springs are OK, not that spectacular. There are limited numbers of restaurants around the hotel; however, if you have a boat, take it to the Harrison lake, you can find a lot of hidden spots around the lake. Amazing!

We went to go to the hot springs but as we were not staying at the resort or using the spa we weren't able to use the actual springs. The alternative was an indoor hot "pool". I'd much rather use banff or radium hot springs as anyone can use them.

We booked the family room and initially got a double bed with two twins. Room was very small and was oriented next to the very noisy fan. As we were there with a young baby I asked at the front desk to have a room change which they did without any problems or guilt . Our second room was much bigger and we preferred it as it had no noise and it comes with a king bed. It is located in the main building which was built long time ago so the floors are a little bit cracky but nothing too too bad. After all we came here to use the amenities which were excellent. They have lots of outdoor hooves that are family friendly and a separate area for adults which is very enjoyable. They have two indoor pools which were amazing and we mostly used them as one of them had great decorations and was very warm. We believe that is the warmest one. They are all pumped from the natural springs. Hotel is very clean and staff is very happy. You do get to stay at the pools after checkout which was very nice. area is very busy but they have lots of Resort amenities such as parking, room service, great movie selection, and other great options. Some of the pools stay open till 1 a.m. for adults only and that is great once kids go to bed.

As a first time guest, disappointed. For the price you pay, the rooms are outdated. Sink in our bathroom looked dirty. Carpet lifting in our room. Patio furniture looked like it could break if you sat on it. Asked to change rooms. We get told now they can't sell the old room due to us already walking into it. How is that a guests problem? The pools were dirty. Lots of debris. The rock music being played wasn't soothing for a "resort". Nobody told the children to leave the pool @ 10 pm nor be respectful of the fact it's a resort. Never saw a housekeeper cleaning the high touch surfaces throughout the hotel.

Fun experience! Building was a little on the older side and the hot springs were rather full, but we went during peak season so it's to be expected. Recommended for a quick weekend getaway if you live within driving distance.

The location is lovely. The pools are great and the staff is super friendly. There is a lot offered here. Being an older hotel the the rooms are dated which is fine. The beds are hard but there are lots of pillows to prop up with. My only complaint is the lack of gluten free food.
