Relaxing, but they needed to enforce the rules more regarding the pools. Many adults kept bringing their kids into the adult only pool, and kids kept slashing and being loud in the quiet areas. Signs posted were not enforced.

Friendly staff; beautiful location; amazing rooms and accommodations- especially the cottage! We have made Harrison Hot Springs a must place to visit as often as we can, and we only stay at the resort and spa for the perfect getaway! The hot springs pool is so relaxing :D

Beautiful resort. Highly recommend spending the extra money to book in one of the newer rooms, we had a lake view in the tower which was beautiful.
The check-in lineup was the longest I ve ever seen at any hotel, which could be frustrating for some but I was not in a rush. Front desk staff were noticeably stressed but very friendly and helpful.

If you are looking for hot springs this is not the place to go it's way of the highway and when you get there you have to rent a hotel room for a minimum of 4 hours at $120.00
Since the town sold the well to the hotel.
Or you can go to a total run down public pool that needs a total make over and is totally from the 70 . A absolute disappointing experience and not worth the money or the drive

We came in pretty late at night and dealt with Laurie at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing! Gave us exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations! She was a pleasure to deal with. The pools and staff is amazing here! Would definitely recommend.

Washroom fixtures are rusty and discoloured and the shower roof was covered in black mold. The food also is consistently disappointing at best--both the food catered for events and from the restaurants. Tip: bring your own hot sauce to add flavour!

Staff are generally grumpy and seem inconvenienced with the most basic of questions and requests.

Unfortunately these issues are recurring and consistent across multiple stays over a couple years. I only come back for group events but thankfully I've gotten one of them moved to another resort.

Don't waste your time on this very mediocre experience. There are so many wonderful resorts, hotels and getaway locations across BC!

At the time of checking everything was perfectly in order the entire staff was extremely professional and friendly. The entire resort is extremely well manicured clean and tidy. The Hot Springs pools are very beautiful and extremely tranquil .
Wonderful memory and well deserving of five stars.

Solid 3 star hotel. Needs some upgrades to really escape from that designation, if that is even its intention. The breakfast is great. Odd to stay in rooms with no air conditioning nowadays. Very nice staff in all areas but some cleanliness concerns in the room itself. Cost of massages a bit high and lack of RMT's not ideal.

Great 48 hour get away go my husband s 60th Birthday. The entire staff are so friendly and accommodating. It started with Kim at reception... how told us where to find everything. Love our cottage. It was adorable and quaint; very private. Thanks to Katana and Dana who supplied fresh towels and all our requests. A beautiful cheese plate was delivered by catering. Plus chocolate covered strawberries.. yum! Renee in the lounge was fabulous and recommended awesome drinks. Joseph in the Copper Room was an excellent server. He was so friendly and made our night!! The food all over the resort was excellent. Especially in the Copper Room. See photos.

We spent only one night. A little complicated for looking around the facility and found the room when the first time check in. We got loss from parking lot to our room. The handicap spot too far to main entry, but the hot springs tub was nice and really relax.

They close the kitchen early and we hadn't eaten all day so we decided to leave. The manager ask.my gf if she was drinking. We left and were pulled over by police because the manger called to police. Avoid this dump of a hotel.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel and there is no air conditioning at all. I understand being old hotel and all but at one point they upgraded and put old machines in. It is time to upgrade again as the price you charge should be reflective of at least keeping your guests cool. The hot springs were over rated as well, I would say spend the money on a hotel that has ac and a regular pool.

Great place, great view, hot springs great for the entire family. However the rooms are not great. We got 2 rooms and only one of the room had robes while the other didn't. Then we found out they didnt provide shampoo and conditioner. Also the shower temperature knob is misleading and confusing. AAA discount is 10 percent but not available if you get the breakfast package. Website doesn't show double queen rooms so you have to call. Lake view rooms cost extra. Fees alone is around an extra 30 percent. Also on my floor somebody left room service plates out and it was left out all night till the next day. There's only like 5 pools for the hotspring but only the adult only pool and the small indoor one is hot enough to really be a hotspring.

The resort and pools were nice and we really enjoyed our stay until the night time when we decided to go to the indoor pools at about 11PM. There was a large group of drunk and rowdy people who brought alcohol with them and were super loud and disturbing to the other guests. I could see that not only our group, but other guests at the pools were feeling quite uncomfortable with their presence. We were most disappointed when the security guard came by to patrol and we thought he was going to do something about it. Instead of that, all he did was tell them to keep it down and then even chatted/laughed with them together and giving them a high-five! We thought that the security guard was super unprofessional and didn't do his job properly. The stay would've been so relaxing and nice for us if it weren't because of this occurrence! We will definitely have to reconsider paying so much to come to a resort for a relaxing experience if this is the kind of service we get.

Incredibly mediocre considering the cost. Jam packed first week of January was expected but disregard for quiet areas in the pools made the resort feel like a water park for kids. None of the snow was cleared from the pool chairs which was a bummer. The complimentary afternoon tea is a nice touch but not well executed.

The breakfast included was passable but nothing spectacular. The best part of the stay was the live music in the Copper Room. We went for drinks and dancing and it had a decent vibe for a Wednesday night.

Everything about this place was passable but the customer service was a little uncomfortable. They seemed incredibly short staffed or very poorly managed.

We booked two rooms: a lake view room in the West Wing and one of the cottages. Both were minimal and functional. Duvets would have been nice. The cottages are quite cozy with the fireplace. One room was for my parents 30th anniversary and the staff were impossible to get ahold of by email beforehand to organize something special. During check in they said they would bring them chocolates which never happened.

All in all, I would come back only if there was a good deal on, because for the price we paid, it was unapologetically sub par.

Nice place and the hot springs are amazing. I would give 5 stars but for an extra charge added to our bill AFTER we checked it and paid. When I phoned and questioned it I was told it was an error and would be taken care of. It never was. I think that's bad business.

Ok place to go to for a while. The reason I write this review is because my wife and children stayed at this hotel a while ago and had a terrible experience. We had found bed bugs in our suite and had them give us another suite luckily we saw them in time before unpacking otherwise it would of been alot worse. Not interested in going back anytime soon nice beach/park to visit though.

Stayed in the main hotel part, very old, no AC which ment it was very hot hard to sleep. The pool was very nice beautiful grounds. Would be a better rating if i had stayed in a newer part.

well to start the hot tubs were nice and relaxing and enjoyed my time there, my room on the other hand was a different story. The room was filthy and incredibly small for the price we paid for one night(room 345). The bed sheets had a stain on them and the blanket looked dirty (white blanket). Next thing was the bathroom, there was mould all over the light in the bathroom and on the ceiling. To follow was the worst!! laying in bed and seeing not one but multiple bugs crawling on the ceiling and behind the window curtains. When we went to the front desk to check out and explain to the gentlemen our experience and try and show him pics and video of what had happened the only response we got was sorry for that, we will take a look into the room, the best I can do is take off your $12 parking for the night we were beyond grossed out and frustrated we couldn t stand there any longer. Disappointed with the way things were handle.

I went here with my family and choir before so I know that it is totally amazing! The hotel is warm and welcoming and therer are loads to explore including The Copper Room, the pools and the Gift Shop

Stayed in the main hotel and it was horrible. 3rd floor looking out on to pools. It was so noisy!! Noise from the pool as well everywhere else. Sounded like the people above us were having a party. Room also smelt of smoke so we called front desk and all we got was a "we'll send someone to freshen it". The outdoor adult pool was also a drunk fest.

Pricey but the pool was wonderful. Felt like we were in Mexico. Loved it that we were able to stay fora night with the kids. Think some of the people who stayed there were a little snooty because we were poor white trash but we didn t care

WiFi inconsistent and slow (less than 1mbps). Spa pools were crowded. The "quiet relaxation and reflection" pool was noisy with children yelling and jumping in. I saw staff members walk by and do nothing about the noise. Other than the one hot tub pool, the rest of the "hot spring" pools were warm at best.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa is an old style resort. The rooms might be small and dated, but you have everything you need. Here you should be able to enjoy the old fashion resort from the history of Harrison Hot Springs as the hotel keeps some features from the past.
The pools are amazing! This is why you choose here.

I ve been coming here for many years now . The only reason I do that is the amazing pool and the town . The hotel itself is outdated .I wish I knew why their receptionists don t smile .. will have to come back as I don t have options

Came out for four days on what turned out to be a very busy Time of the summer. Got checked in and walked around the property to get familiar.

There are several restaurants and cafes on site. The lake is across the street and you can rent kayaks to motorboats. There is a huge water playground for kids too. On site there are a variety of pools at different temperatures and sizes.

Although the name of the resort and their pools implies healing and rest, this is a noisy place with lots of kids. Yes. Lots of kids who make a lot of noise. The pools are packed, the chairs are checked out, and did I mention that the kids are loud. Not exactly a "relaxing" spa feeling that I was envisioning. Not even the indoor "quiet" pool. It's like an echo chamber in there.

They offer some freebies like afternoon tea but only have caffeine versions. They do have hot water with lemon as an alternative and a variety of cookies.

Staff are ready and helpful. Or try to be. They did not know that the hotel next door actually does rent bikes.

For those of you looking for a place to bring kids, this is the place. For those wanting to get away, keep going and get away from here.

Great place and great staff. I appreciate Brenda, shift supervisor on October 26, 2019, for professionalism. She helped me to sort out confusion that happened with my reservation.
I felt respected when she talk to me. Great thank you Brenda, my husband and myself had a great vacation!

This area is beautiful in the fall. Rooms are a bit older but maintenance is kept up and everything feels clean. Hotel service was also great. Awesome get away experience. Thanks Harrison.

My overall opinion is this resort is over priced for the quality of stay. There is too much cholrine in the naturally heated swimming/soaking pools that leave your skin feeling dried out. The West wing rooms are small and dated- the mattresses are poor quality along with the bedding material. My blue collar back feels worse after a nights soak and rest here. And no breakfast included with the room price, the buffet is $22 a person. I've paid half the price of this location elsewhere and had access to a hot tubub and breakfast buffet. I am not likely to return- but it might be a nice stay for a less traveled metropolitan.

We come to this resort every year at least once. I always enjoy the clean nice springs. Service was a little slower due to Covid situation which is understandable. I wish they bring back the breakfast buffet option soon. Overall very pleased with our time here.

I came specifically to go to the outside Hot Springs pools. The hottest of these was not hot enough. It was raining and there was no cover for people's heads except for chairs that could be turned over near the edge of the pool and sat under. Some people did get umbrellas from the lobby but by the time you are in with your bathing suit you don't want to go traipsing through the lobby to pick up an umbrella. The inside pool and circular sitting pool was stingy and also lukewarm . The showers afterward however were hot and the water was strong.

This place is a hit or miss. It's important to know what you want from a hotel and make sure your booking reflects your desires. There's rooms of all kinds. Vintage, pool view, lake view, air conditioning and non air conditioning and even rooms blocks away!! Lol yes I just said that. They talked me into the newly renovated apt type rooms but it takes away from the experience for me. I personally like to be in the hotel able to access all ammenities easily. Hiking to the swimming pool from the apt rooms just did not feel right like just because you have a Harrison hot springs robe on does not make it the same. Do not let them put you in the apt rooms!! Pre-pare all your snacks before 10 as the whole town shuts down even the gas station. The vending machine will charge you 3$ for a small bag of chips.
Also don't get valet parking it takes forever for the guy to bring you your keys. Other then the odd weird thing here and there this place is my favorite weekend get away from the big city. The mineral pools , robes, spa massages and food is all amazing.

I came to Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa with my family for my father's business Christmas party for 3 days, and it's absolutely lovely here!!! The food is incredible and the service is genuinely friendly. The overall experience was really welcoming and I would love to come here again someday~ ^_^

Location and hot spring pools are beautiful. The hotel is dated and really could use some updating. The main areas are nice but rooms show wearing and need maintenance. Food was decent. Really you go here for the view and the pools... Both of which are fantastic!

Uncomfortable beds, nice hotel. Beds leave a lot to be desired with saggy mattresses and flat sheets as the bottom sheet that expose the mattress. Had to use bathrobes on top to stay warm enough! Pool was fantastic. Spa was overbooked despite us preordering a couples massage. They claimed it was a huge bridal party - frustrating.

I recently stayed at the resort as a guest attending a wedding, and here is what my experience was like...
The hotel itself is beautiful and charming. The scenery is breath taking and the staff is kind and courteous. To be fully honest I think the pricing for what you get is appalling. For two nights it was around 400 dollars (with the event discount) and our room was not clean. The ice bucket had no ice bag, the glasses were filthy, and there was two tv remotes... one of them I found under the chair, covered in dust so who knows how long it had been there... and there was dirt all around the bed frame. The only reason I didn't complain about it was because I was way too busy! Also the wifi is not very good, you have to have a room in the middle of the building to get good reception and we were on the west end.

The pools are lovely and relaxing and the wedding space was beautiful. I would recommend going to a local cafe or restaurant if you want decent priced food. The food in the restaurant is good but too highly priced for my liking.

No disrespect but it's held at way higher standards than it should be. I worked and stayed at a best western with way better quality standards in a small town.

I stayed in the main building, which actually means old building. The room was quite small for what we paid for and wasn't serviced properly. No coffee or robes in the room and the fridge was not emptied after the last guest.
