The service is not as great as everyone think it would be. The beds and windows covering are belong over 40 years ago maybe more. The pool's quality is not very good and the water is not as hot as it suppose to be. The price they ask for is not worth the service they provide. It is way to much.

I recently attended a friends wedding at the Harrison Resort & Spa and was very pleased. The staff were great, very helpful and great attention to detail when we were setting up. The food at the wedding was delicious, and the rooms themselves weren't half bad either ( mind you we didn't stay at the hotel only attended the wedding) As far as the view, how can you complain about the stunning fall leaves flowing across Harrison lake. I will most definitely be back, maybe even stay the night at the hotel and try out all the amenities.

I went to the resort for some information on the packages they offer, and the clerk at the desk was very helpful and friendly. She answered all of my questions and left me feeling very happy and satisfied. Not only was the staff super helpful, but my first impression of walking into the resort was amazing. It was very clean, professional, and welcoming. I would definitely go back for a holiday.

Terrible front desk and supervisor. They couldn't find my reservation so I had to book again in last minute. Not that I had to pay high price for last minute booking but the day after we were admitted, the supervisor called me for " no show" on my first reservation and charged me. They blame on Expedia and me for not calling again after the front desk told me I didn't have a reservation. Plus the supervisor was rude and impatient.

Had a fantastic trip for our anniversary. The hotel was great! Stayed in one of the deluxe rooms. The room was amazing and huge! Bed was super comfy! The pools were great and relaxing. Can t wait to go back again!!

Location is great, right next to the lake and shopping areas. Pools are nice and warm, even in winter with snow and sub zero temperature. Room is clean and bed is nice to sleep in. Lots of dining options at the resort and in the area, great food so far. Greatly enjoyed my experience, would recommend to others.

My friends and I were there for the weekend for a little spa getaway. Massage was nice and relaxing. It seemed a little crowded at the resort because there was a wedding, but that was ok. Rooms were a little outdated but nice and clean. But we were awoken a couple times during the night due to other noisy room guests that kept going in and out of rooms and were talking really loudly. Overall, we might come back for a day trip, but an overnight trip definitely was not worth for the price and disturbance.

Ok, nothing special. Best part is obviously the fact that they have some nice warm pools outside. Everything else is just ok.

Missing some basic things like drinks/bar or even just water near the pool. Also no mini fridge.

I have stayed in the Cabins at the Harrison Resort a few times now, and my wife and I were looking for a weekend away and I was informed it would be $319.00 per night!! I was shocked by this, I am sure this is a lot more than I paid my last stay. It did however include the $30 pet fee but still... $319.00 for an outdated but quaint cabin. My wife and I stayed at a Resort & Spa (Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina) just outside Sechelt this summer which included a newer 2 bedroom suite with 2 baths with soaker tub, full kitchen dining area and full living room with fireplace and every suite has a full ocean view deck with BBQ included plus salt water pool, hot tub, and spa services. The cost for this is very close to the same cost as an old cabin at the Harrison. My wife and I do enjoy our time when we have stayed at the Harrison Resort but I am not willing to pay $319 a night for it.

For the area it fits right in. Probably would even be a 5 for the area.the atmosphere they have created is just lovely. However there are many other resorts of this nature that are better priced, better pool temps and certainly better rooms.

We had bugs and flies in our room, there was clumps of hair on the deck, cobwebs everywhere, took an hour to check in, the pools were anything but relaxing absolutely packed, drunk people everywhere felt like a club not a relaxing experience, we didn t have robes in our room and when we got some from the desk they were three sizes to big, will not come here again

We stayed in the east wing, the room was a lot more updated than I had anticipated. We didn't mind the walk to the hot springs, which were absolutely lovely.

I would say, during covid they've shut down the road in front of the building, and so we had to pack all our stuff from the back parking lot all the way around to the front. It was a pain for us since we had coolers and such, but could be a barrier for others.

Drinks at the islands bar were super super affordable and the calamari was also great!

Honestly the worst part of this visit was that bar service was closed at the hot springs, and that they didn't enforce the "adult hour" until 10:30pm, so the pool was full of kids until then.

I didn't enjoy my night here. Check in took forever and we waited in line. The room was decent but smelled so awful I had trouble sleeping. Actually the whole area of the hotel smelled odd - I think it was the older section. Won't be back!

A lovely little getaway spot only a couple of hours from downtown Vancouver. Definitely worth it to stay here to get convenient access to the guest only hot springs. Food options within the hotel are decent and if you're into dancing/live music the Copper Room is worth checking out. The spa is wonderful, although they lack RMTs on the weekend. The East tower is newer and away from the pool noise, while the West provides proximity to the springs and spa. Service is friendly but super slow. Would not recommend coming here during peak season; it's a giant overpriced mess then.

I like it the pools are all pretty warm, there's a cool lake I saw a bunch of young geese. not baby geese but like the geese where they lose their baby coloring and then just look like geese but smaller like those kinds of geese. also the sprinklers and cabins are cool and good

Love this place. Dog friendly and has lots of daily offerings like tea and cookies at 4pm. The copper room has great old school dining. The live band in the weekends is fabulous! I love renting the cabins for more privacy- it's a bit far from pools but it's fine.

Spent the night here for R&R after a stressful work week and it was, for the most part, a relaxing and great experience. Only complaints would be about the dated rooms and finishings -- carpet was well-worn out, electrical outlets were few and very hard to reach, no safe in room, and bathtub caulking had some mold stains. Otherwise the location and facilities were great as always.

Beautiful spot to visit. Hotel with nice ambiance. The hot pools in the middle of the winter is a very nice experience. Recently rennovated rooms. Several good trails nearby from easy to more challenging.

Harrison Hot springs is an awesome place for a little R&R, terrific old hotel, 3 hot pools and two swimming pools, Ballroom dancing at the Copper room, and lots of opportunity to get outdoors and hike or explore in British Columbia. Keep in mind this is an older hotel, but it has a ton of charm. and breakfast is great with a breakfast buffet and an Omelette bar. This place is definitely a family favorite.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, great indoor and outdoor pools, clean and quiet rooms, some with a pleasant lake view.
Plenty paid parking is available. Family friendly environment. Highly recommend it!

I've stayed at the Harrison Resort many times in years past and have seen both the building maintenance and room conditions deteriorate, as another reviewer wrote the hallways and rooms are musty smelling and in front of our room was a large gross looking stain on the old carpet. The so called "quiet indoor pool" was over run by kids screaming and diving into the pool. The toilet in the bathroom was obviously not installed to code as you could lean on the wall while doing your business, in fact if one was of a larger stature they would be hanging off the toilet seat, it was ridiculous.
Fortunately the staff are always friendly and accommodating. 5 stars for them.
I expect my review will be replied to with some form of excuse from the "owner", which is likely one in a group of off shore investors that don't live in Canada.

Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The drive out to this resort was extremely long and our arrival to your hotel was not a pleasant one. I will be telling others about our unpleasant experience. We will not be coming back!

They got to do some renovations on the pool decorations / fountains (falling apart). They've got many pools to choose from and relax in and also a great breakfast buffet. However they get more credit than they are worthy of for their long history. Seems like they did some renovations inside some of the rooms/cottages. But cleanliness seems to be an issue (especially in the cottages - young workers do a rough job and are out in a quicky. Hence the ant problem in a few rooms...)

This hotel is not clean at all and gives the room a smell of moisture. The pillow and bed are very dirty and the hair on them.
The cost per night varies.
All lobby sofas are always wet.
Hotel elevators and carpets are always dirty.
Be sure to check the hotel bills as they will save more money.
The deposit amount is very high.
Eventually very very bad

My family and I go to the resort at least once a year. The staff are always incredible and we really enjoy relaxing in the pool. The one thing I've noticed is that year after year we see the same staff. That says alot of great things about a business. We can't wait to be back

We had a nice time at Harrison Hot Springs. It was a very busy week and lots of familys were there. The pools were full of kids and their parents. Even the adult pool was full. The Hotel was fine for sleeping. I will return again!

I would never come back again. You do not at all get what you pay for $$$$. Run down property and contents. Hot pools (main attraction) are not well maintained. Reality is not like the pictures. No major competitors. I was really disappointed and will not bring out of town visitors there. Staff were nice and deserve the Star.

This is now one of my favourite places. My son has autism and going out to relax places is not always easy, but even he had a good time and was able to relax. The staff is great, spa is magical, same with those mineral pools..never have I loved a place quite like this.. Its one of those places you want to spend every weekend at, where you want to move closer to it so you can be there as much as possible. Truely amazing.

Great location, and service was wonderful. The staff is very helpful, flowers are being planted and the whole gardens have been very well taken care of. The pools are maintained and they are a great way to relax.

We have been going to the resort for almost 20 years and have seen the ownership change a few times. Unfortunately we haven't seen a substantial change for the better. The resort is nice and you can get decent deals if your looking but things like the food aren't very high quality. I get it, costs go up CEO's and the board want their bonus so to keep the price affordable the company customer costs. I don't think any of this will stop us from going we just expect less and watch for deals.

Pretty classy place. Amazing hot springs! Sometimes some people get in the door without paying for the hot tub though. The wine was delectable and there was quite a bit to do in the little town. I really liked the beach that looks like it was man made. It was very big and lots of fun people were there. I will be going back again, and it is so close to Vancouver!!!

The stay was very relaxing! The first day was amazing. The second day however, was not the greatest. There was a company event/conference that took place at the resort which made it really crowded in some areas especially the outdoor pools. It was literally impossible to enjoy the adult pool because they were packed with drunk, loud individuals from the company conference which makes it impossible to relax during the second night at the pool. Don t get me wrong, I know the resort have these conference rooms so companies can utilize them for events. However, guests should be advised beforehand that there is an event that is taking place on that specific day so they will plan out their days accordingly. If I knew that there was going to be this event, I would ve shortened my stay to 1 day only. I saw multiple other guests that were very annoyed by this matter as well. Overall experience was good tho!

Hotel is a bit run down, hot spring pools are nice though. Check in experience was less than desired as we were asked to wait past the official 4pm check in time and were given contradicting excuses by the guest service, front desk, and manager.
