The scenery is lovely but the rooms are a little run down for the price.

The hot springs are well set up and relaxing but don't seem to differentiate themselves from a large hot tub. I was expecting them to be more rustic and true natural hot springs.

Beautiful, wonderful, relaxing.

Beautiful, wonderful, relaxing.
Could do with enforcing the "no kids after 10:30 rule" and don't expect the "Relaxation" areas to be relaxing when the kids are on holidays. All in all though we really enjoyed our trip. Rooms are lovely, and the pools and so relaxing.

The hot springs pools were wonderful and the hotel restaurant is good.
Two rooms were booked with the expectation that they would be close together. Instead, the rooms were in separate buildings 1/4 of a kilometer apart. The staff could not fix this problem but for an extra $50 gave us a suite that was close to the other room. The problem now was that the key card did not work for the suite. The card was fixed but later, while we were out of the suite, the housekeeping staff made half the suite inaccessible by closing and locking a door separating the two rooms of the suite. After making two separate requests, a couple hours apart, someone finally came and unlocked the door. This was a great inconvenience as a bathing suite was locked away in the other half, delaying time that would have been spent in the pool. The staff is disorganized and this does not seem to bother them.

Nice facility a little dated and a bit pricy. Still recommend you try it. Pools are amazing and the couples massage was the best we have had. John and Sabine found all our sore spots and Shawna at the reception desk is refreshing and pleasant .

Just got home from a short getaway at Harrison Hot Springs Resort. Received excellent service from Cathy at the reception desk who promptly let us know of the upgrade we could have in our room choice. The view from our balcony was stunning of the lake and it was very quiet. Great dinner at the Copper Room which was complimented by the great service from Martin. All in all, great value for the price and totally relaxing. Thanks to you all.

My husband and I had the best time. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. There was an issue with our room reservation but the front desk staff and Manager Ericson resolved it pretty quickly and made our stay even better. Thank you Ericson!

Worst hotel stay we ever had. We went here for our 1 year anniversary. We arrived at 12:50pm. The clerk told us to go for a walk and she'd be able to pre-check us in so we could use the pool. Which we did. But upon returning there was at least 50 groups already lined up for check in. Stood in a line for an hour. Not sure why she didn't say stay around a couple minutes as this place gets busy right at 1pm. Or why not just start our check in since it was quiet at that time.

We tell her it's a night away for our anniversary. She checks us into a room with two beds instead of a king. Not exactly what we imagined. The room was very dated and worn. I've stayed at nicer rooms at the Holiday Inn for 1/3 the price.

Go to use the pools and the place is packed. Cant get a seat to put our belongings on. People seem to be reserving lounge chairs for their friends and family. Perhaps they come and go throughout the day and leave their towel on a chair.

Dinner at the Copper Room was okay. The waiter there was attentive. But way overpriced for mediocre food.

The evening was the worst. Went to our room. You can hear everyone in the pool
It's as loud as being in a nightclub. People are going in and out of the rooms onto their patios. When the patio doors open the rooms surrounding rumble loudly. People are also slamming doors to the hallways all night long. The bed is super hard and uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep. Seriously one of the worst nights in my life. I can't help but think why would the clerk put us in this room on the poolside of the hotel when we told her it was our anniversary?

At checkout we are asked how our stay was. We told the clerk it was the worst night we had in a hotel in our entire lives. All she said was sorry I can't do anything for you. I will tell everyone I know how bad this experience was.

In recent years, basically every year, the biggest change is that the service staff have changed their way to tipping. The hot springs are as good as ever. The comfort and cleanliness of the room are reasonable, but we both have dinner and breakfast. Eating in the restaurant in the hotel, the service has a great purpose, and the waiters are also kind of indifferent to answer the requests and questions of the guests, but the attitude makes the guests very uncomfortable, I don t know about other How do they feel white people. Just after sitting down for breakfast, I was asked to fill in something similar to a bill. The tip was asked to fill in the tip I wanted to pay, and I was forced to tip. The hotel is becoming more profitable, and the guest experience is not as good as before.

Wow! Can't believe I've lived here forever and not stayed at the Harrison Resort.

Our agent booked us in a top floor superior room in the East Tower with a lake view and it was gorgeous and clean. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel for ages.

Walking around the resort I can see why there is a discrepancy in room types. I'd definitely only stay in the East Tower with a lake view.

The pools were so relaxing. We stayed in the adult pool for the most part as we left our kids behind. If I had one complaint it was hearing the kids in the other pools have a great time. They also were allowed in the indoor pools until 11:30pm which made us steer clear of there in the evenings. Have the pool bar open was a treat. You could grab a cocktail or a snack and then lounge by the pool.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast one morning and found it good value and loved The Copper Room experience. We felt a bit like we were rushed in and out of there but really enjoyed the seafood platter and our mojitos. Prices were comparable to other fine dining restaurants in the city, though drinks seemed less expensive.

The town of Harrison is very quiet but we enjoyed breakfast one morning at the LakeView Cafe and dinner one night at The Black Forest Steak and Schnitzel house. The food was fantastic.

We also love the lake and had fun renting a Sea Doo for an hour. Pricing was comparable, if not a bit less, than other lakes.

I'd definitely rate our stay, in our room category a solid 4 to 4.5 stars. The only thing that could have been better was towel service by the pools and a bit quieter in the adult pool. We heard others complaining about their rooms but they were nowhere near us.

The value really comes in with the inclusion of the pools. In Whistler you'd have to get a hotel, drive to Scandinave and pay for admission for 2 which adds $120 to your stay for only one day. Love it there too but this was really good value.

Not all rooms are air-conditioned, at least the ones on the west wing facing the lake are.
The resort is quite a large spread and fun to explore.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
The food, music and ambience is excellent.
The warm water pools are a must-visit.
Rates are expensive but one can see why with the extreme amount of visitors and actiities

I try to make it to the resort as often as I can. Its a whole package deal. I use to go all of the time with my parents and brother, years later I am still carrying on the tradition. So peaceful. Highly, highly recommend, a must try if you haven't.

Could have some fun here. Bit of a Cancun vibe which isn t what I expected, but depending on what you re looking for might add or subtract a star. This place has seen better days but I d say it s still decent value for the asking price.

Harrison Hot Springs Hotel has been in my life since a child. They do a pretty good job with everything.
Some notes though. There are only 2 "hot spring" temp pools. One inside and one outside. The one outside is surrounded by buildings and a wooden covered walkway. So if I want to enjoy the amazing view of the mountainous forest behind the resort, i have no choice but to use the childrens pool. Which is not hot at all.
The lobby looks amazing and opulent. Then I enter my out dated room with marks on the wall. It would be nice if the money spent on the hotel was to fix the issues in the room I'm paying for. Like a water damaged lamp and marks on the wall. Its not a huge deal. But it does reduce the classy level.
We asked for 4XL robes, they sent us 2XL. So that's annoying.
For a resort that deals with pools, they really don't make it easy to get a dry towel.
The mattress was uncomfortable and the sheet on the bed would pull off when you un-tuck the blanket. So during the night you are sleeping directly on the mattress. Ew.
The toilet in the room had an aggressively loud flush but did not clear the waste in one flush.
To top it all off, my wife and I were heading out for dinner when we walked by a maintenance man with a large bin on casters. On the side of the bin, scribbled over a bit, someone had written "house boy". As far as I know thats racist and should be taken off immediately.

Very nice place to visit. Beware that you can only use the pools at the resort if you are a guest at the hotel. We we allowed to book a day room and use the pools. It was worth it as the pools were great. There is a public pool in town for other tourists. Best to visit Harrison in summer although there are a few winter activities such as tubing in a local snow hill.

The resort was fine, but they charged us for a pet staying even though we didn't have one. On one of the nights there were loud partiers in the room next to us until 2:30 am. The person at the front desk apologized, but I felt they should maybe have done a little more.

Love the outdoor pools! We went this past weekend in February and it was snowing. It's an amazing experience to swim in hot springs water and have the beautiful views of the snowy mountains and snowflakes falling upon our head.

We were placed in the main hotel which is quite old. Reminds me a bit of the Shining, but it was roomy as we had two rooms, one with a queen bed and table and chairs, and the other with 2 twin beds. This configuration was perfect for my 20 month old who sleeps at 630.

Washrooms were clean, except the tub was a bit rust at the drain. That's my only complaint of the hotel.

The pools were overall okay but the staffs, with the exception of a couple of them, were very rude. There was ongoing noise from adjacent rooms and hallways with drunk people and dog barking until 2 am. The breakfast waitress needs to take a 101 customer service course. When my wife had difficulty using the coffee flask, she was very rude and showed her how to open it in an ironic way. Definitely not trained for a 4 star resort. We purchased a room for 3 adults and 1 kid (clearly stated in our reservation) with breakfast. However, it was a surprise to see additional charge of breakfast for the child on our invoice (the expectation was that, if any charges for the kid, it should have already shown on the package price prior to booking). When we ask to remove it from our invoice, the rude staff referred us to a fine print on our reservation. Be prepared for such hidden fees! Also, when we found out that the single bed in our room is unsafe for our 3 year old kid to sleep, and asked for a rollway bed (only for safety and not for additional person) we were charged extra again. My overall impression was a nickel and dime attitude!

This hotel has a lot of potential but needs some major renovations. Very dated decore with tiny bathrooms with rusted bathtubs and toilets so old and small. Best part of course are the hot springs. Our room overlooked the pools which we liked. Breakfast was ok but our server was MIA. I had to clear up my own dirty dishes and waited a long time to get some coffee. Generally speaking I wasn't wowed by the service. I would have liked to be asked how was my stay when we checked out. Okay place if you just want to use the pools but be sure to look for discounted rates.

Do not get a room without AC if you don't like heat. We suffered. We actually were up at 3am just to sit in the AC lobby to cool down. This was despite the 3 fans they sent. It was awful. The pool area is nice. Just get a room with AC. I will never pay that kind of money again without it.

So....we took the kids up here for the Family Day weekend. We were in the newest wing of the hotel. I was actually surprisingly disappointed in the room. The sinks were old and cracked, the faucets were so out of date. Carpet was stained and believe it or not, I found a contact lense on the bathroom floor which leads me to question the cleanliness of the room. Bags should also be standard for the garbage cans. Especially in the bathroom. That to me, is gross. And, hugely overpriced. Yes, they jack up the rates for the holidays and always say they're sold out. The restaurant was real expensive, food took forever to come out.
For the good, the pools are nice. The view was beautiful. That's honestly about it. I'm not sure what the hype is all about. I think they should also have those cheesy complimentary slippers/sandals for those who forget theirs. For the price that they charge, it's reasonable to ask for this. I really don't know if I'd go back and stay there. Maybe it'd be better in the summer. I'm not sure.

Professional treatment. I took my mother there as a gift for Mother's day. The Spa staff was very accomodating and made her feel pampered and special. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting.

Very clean place a little out dated but it worth it with the 3 heated outdoor pools and 2 indoor ( the 3 outdoor ones are open during phase 2 of panademics ) .

Bedbugs! We were disappointed to find bedbugs crawling in our bed during the final morning of our stay. Spoke with two members of management, said they would have the room investigated. Afterwards they reported finding no evidence of bedbugs, which is ridiculous. We provided video and photographic evidence to illustrate our findings. If there wasn t any bedbugs we never would have gone through the ordeal, would have been well on our way back home.

Definitely wouldn't recommend, spend your hard earned money elsewhere where there s no hassle!

Update: The owner has responded to the review, wants to report it to google. They called it deceitful and harmful to the business. Claimed this to be the case as there is no reservations under my name. Due to the fact it was indeed under my partners and not my own. Its disappointing to have the owner of a large holiday resort be so dismissive and in denial of a serious situation. Well done.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms were dated and a bit run down. It was still a bit off season when we were there so maybe they freshen up the court yard more for high season? The community hot springs pool is almost across the street and entrance is covered for guests of the hotel.
