The hot springs are nice. There are adult only pools and times later at night for adult only, which is great if you aren't into hanging around kids. The service seemed pretty good, they served complimentary high tea, it was an unexpected surprise. Rooms are basic, tub was massive great if your tall and want a bath. Not much to complain about.

The buildings consist of a few additions, but the older ones are clean and well maintained. The pool, view and grounds are nice and tidy. In my opinion, the pool and views are the selling point to staying here. Price is on the higher end, but it's worth the stay.
The west wing - lake side rooms are quiet, but can be a bit of a distance to the pool for those who drink.
A good sized coffee mug would be a good choice to bring if you like to enjoy a beverage while wading.
The west wing - pool side rooms can be loud, but the pool closes at 11pm, so they can be a good alternative if you don't plan on sleeping early. The west wing - first floor pool side rooms would be a great choice to be within 15ft of the pool. That way you can stumble back for a quick refill.

I love everything about Harrison Hot Springs Resort. The only thing I would change it the poor WIFI internet which currently drags along at a snail's pace making it difficult if you're coming up from the US and don't have cell service here since all alternative communication relies on the web. Internet is so bad on this Sunday night I can't get my email to load and was barely able to get on here to post this review.
Other that that issue everything has been great! Rooms are nice and clean, pools really fancy and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Four out of five stars.

Stayed there August 2nd, 2019 with my girlfriend for her birthday. Can't say enough how excellent the experience was. Staff was very friendly, the room was clean and well kept. The dinner experience at the Copper Room was outstanding. The restaurant manager down to the servers were attentive, professional and thoughtful. The food was on point and did not disappoint. The band and atmosphere were great too. This is my third time coming to Harrison Hot Springs resort, and I would not hesitate to come again. Thanks for making my girlfriend's birthday memorable!

This place could be so nice if they just replaced the disgusting carpets and gave it a coat of paint. The pools are dirty and the place is very crowded when only half full. Not much to do there in the off season, most of the shops and restaurants are only open a few days a week or closed for the peak season. The hotel has a monopoly with the hot springs so it's very expensive for the dump it is. First and last time we will stay here.

My family visited here on Thanksgiving. It was too crowded as the room wasn't ready until 5pm. There were just too many people. If you can avoid the peak season, I think this is a nice family place to relax. Spa wan't that hot but probably because there were just too many people on that day.

I work at one of hotel chains in US. So trust that I'm pretty understandable of some of the issues but there are just some things you cant overlook. I get that your resort needs some updating and maintenance. Rooms are just not what you would except for the price you pay (300 plus a night), really outdated bedding, furniture and building but what bothered us the most is the lack of helpfulness that most of the employees have. My partner and I checked in by a guy who didnt greet us with a warm welcome, barely any eye contact. He handed us the map of the resort and said "here just follow the map to find your room". Wouldnt hurt to go an extra mile to show us in the map where we should go. The rest of the staff weren't really too accommodating. Almost always have the "dont bother me with your question" look. We enjoyed the hotspring experience and walking around this little town but we will definitely not come back. I wish we read the reviews before we book. Lesson learned!

When we were there, the staff was amazing! The front desk lady (kicking myself for not remembering her name) went over and beyond in accommodating us. She truly made our stay that much better. Looking forward on our next visit!

Wonderful experience. Spacious rooms, hot pool and for all ages. Awesome look. I did not drink the coffee so I do not know how to say it. easy check in, parking at the front. You can walk to the fountain. It is better to take a room in front of the pool, so it is not so cold, but to get off in the afternoon is more difficult due to the noise. I wish I could always come back

huge disappointment of this place....let's just say that pictures can lie. I think I wouldn't have been this disappointed if it weren't for those photos...this resort is very rustic, nothing as 'glamorous" as the resort tries to portrait with the photos. Be cautious and set the right expectation for sure before visiting...

Lovely room. We had the Lakeview. Just gorgeous. King size really comfortable bed and an air conditioned room. Outdoor pools were open and so was the lakeview cafe. Great breakfast for a good price. Lots of parking.

I would like to start by saying the front desk manager working this weekend, Laura, was amazing. She was very helpful and resolved an issue we ran into while staying there. We had a lake view room in the west wing. It is very outdated and the wallpaper was coming off the walls. The beds were rock hard and fairly uncomfortable. Our room had a whole bunch of little bugs on the walls, windows and in the bathroom on our towels. Not quite sure what kind of bug, but about the size of fruit flies. We ordered room service friday night. We got 2 cheeseburgers and fries for $30. They were burnt and the fries were cold. For what we paid, had I foreseen this, we never would have come.

Lovely hot springs, nice little town for walks and food nearby. Rooms are a little outdated but you re really paying to go to the springs. I will mention that on weekends it s a bit too much of a party vibe for our tastes but others may enjoy. Weekdays are great for the budget and there s less people overall.

This is my happy place! I ve been several times, with my husband, my daughter and my best friend. The rooms have always been nice and clean. Staff are always very accommodating. Outdoor and poolside areas are nice and clean. Of course the whole reason we go is the for the hot springs and they are wonderful. Food for the soul.

I had gone to this resort two weekends in a row. The first weekend was alright. However the second weekend was horrible. Check in time is 4pm. Our room wasn't ready until 5 pm. We had 4 people to a room and the hotel knew this. We had no towels and only two robes. It took them 1.5 hours to bring us towels and robes. They gave us no apology other than. "You can expect us to check everyone in" the frustrating part is they charge you if you go even slightly past 11am checkout time, yet they give no compensation for their error. Terrible customer service.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights from Feb 18th to the 21st to celebrate my wife's birthday. We stayed in room 608. To say the least I am not happy at all with some issues that arose from our stay. We both did not sleep well in the bed and we did feel itchy. I just thought it was the detergent. BUT its is not, both of us have many bites on are legs and we have taken plenty of pictures. Its been a week and now we are starting to heal. Im just so grossed out!!! We have been going for 12 years and I think its going to stop. When I pay over $200 a night for their so called executive room I expect nothing but the best. Whomever reads this you can contact me if you so choose! Just look up the room and days . Im not going re write all this again.

The room we has was extremely out dated. The carpets and furniture were ancient. Having to spend over $200 for one night and to recieve a room that poor is appalling. I couldnt sleep at all because the person above me was walking around at 1am and with every step he took the ceiling would creak. It felt like i could track his every where abouts in his room. The walls are thin, so you can hear conversations, the tv and just all round noise i did not want to hear. I would NOT reccomend harrison hot springs resort and spa. The only postive experience i had was the hot springs, but it is not worth the night at the resort.

We stayed two nights under the breakfast package, in a Cottage. The cottages are similar to the hotel rooms, with larger rooms and a separate living room, at the trade off of weaker WiFi. We had breakfast at the resort buffet both mornings, with delicious made-to-order omelettes. We spent several hours each day relaxing in the springs before taking walks down the beachfront.

Hotel is dated but that didn't detract from our experience. The swimming pools are the nicest part of the hotel but they smell like chlorine. The Copper Room restaurant has delicious food and the breakfast is better than most hotel breakfast. The room prices are too high and while we enjoy our experience this place is worth visiting only once

For years, I ve heard about the pools at this hotel. Finally booked a room to check it out. The hotel has the cheap, dirty small town feel to it. Hallways were scuff marked like the Monza and the threadbare carpeting isn t fit for a dog. But once I stepped outside , it was like paradise. Gorgeous setting among the trees and many pools to walk around and dip in. These guys are charging through the roof for a hot springs experience (cuz you won t be there for the rooms). It s a one time been there , done that experience. Upgrade the hotel and make the pricing fair and I ll be back. Until then, I ll use my bathtub.

Had an excellent post-Covid mini vacation. A few amenities still not open; the spa, copper room, kids water park area, etc.

Check-in was late as our room was not ready, but staff staff and management did a very nice job making up for it. We had a drink and some food on the patio while we waited. Room was clean and spacious with a nice view.

Staff were very friendly, and the place seemed super clean. Definitely not cheap, but it s a tourist resort, so to be expected.

Great customer service experience. I didn t come on a weekend so luckily the pools weren t too busy but I could imagine it being way too busy on the weekends. The pools aren t that big so beware. Our room was nice (west wing).

Beautiful location, right on the lake, opportunity for a nice walk and some exploration and even a swim in the lake if it s summer.

Breakfast is a rip off. $22 per person and they expect a tip as they have waiters carrying around tea/coffee. was very pricey for average food in my opinion. Walk down the esplanade to a cafe instead.

I stayed for 2 nights during a work conference. I unfortunately had an issue with the air conditioning in my room, but Oliver at reception was incredibly helpful, professional and resourceful in rectifying the issue and ensuring that my stay would remain as pleasant as possible. He is a true asset to the hotel.
A great place to stay in a very beautiful area.

The hotel was very quiet . But the room up keep was lacking a little . With paint chipped.off the room walls and broken curtain rods holding the curtains up and also missing pins in the curtains. Harrison its self is a very nice place to visit .

Very late check in, room was only ready at 3 hours after check in time however we were able to use the hot springs upon check in. Compensated through price discount and complementary breakfast. Okay hot springs, breakfast and rooms however the hotel is very understaffed. Would not recommend for someone looking for a seamless experience.

Stayed in family suite in older section of hotel. Rooms were quite awkward and no AC which could be a problem in the summer. However Lake front views were worth it. I wouldn't have been happy if we ended up on the pool side as the noise was extreme and constant. The common areas were nice and pools we're with a visit although quite crowded. Arrive early if you're looking to get a seat by the pool.

Run-down rooms, too pricey for what you get, the only bright spot is the pool which is also old but still quite nice. Around 11:40 p.m. a piercingly bright fire alarm light started flashing in our room but there was no fire, and no alarm sound. The flashing light was in our room and the two rooms on either side but no other rooms in the entire hotel. It went on for over a half hour. My wife and I were very tired as we have been up since 5 a.m. that day. When I called the front desk they were unhelpful, did not apologize, and did not lift a finger to rectify the situation. Finally I went to inquire in person; the front desk man was again rude and unhelpful. He threw his hands up, said "I'm not an engineer" and smirked. I was planning to give this hotel 2 stars based on Price to Value. After the rude and condescending behaviour of the front desk staff I'm giving it 1.

Beautiful view, delicious food and excellent service all around. Of course, the pools were excellent and the perfect way to relax after a dinner with a live band and dancing. Highly recommended, definitely going to find a chance to head back.

We had a one night stay last month, and booked massages for while we were there. We started the day with the massages, and the woman who did my massage was awful. It was one of the worst massages I've ever had. I couldn't believe I had paid so much money for what seemed like someone who didn't know what they were doing. I was actually quite uncomfortable and unable to relax at all. At one point I had to actually ask her to stop what she was doing. I would not recommend paying money to get a massage here.
The pools were good but could have been cleaner. Copper room for dinner was quite nice.
Overall: 3 stars.
Massage: 1 Star.

Beautiful resort no matter what time of year you're attending with 5 mineral pools and a spa. Reservations are typically recommended especially in peak seasons. Have attended couple of times for professional events put on through the Canadian Labour Congress and multiple times as a guest with my family. Never a bad experience

This hotel is very dated but still worth while. We stayed in the east tower as the other sections are decades older and look the part. We had a great view of the lake. The rooms, pools and restaurant all look very dated but provide great service and decent quality.

We had dinner at the Copper restaurant and it was good, if a little over priced. I'd suggest picking up some snacks and liquor before settling in.
