The water is clean and the scenery of the nearby lake is beautiful. It is recommended as a place to relax in Vancouver.

Perfect pools for families to enjoy. We had a room overlooking the adult pool which also goes off between 9-11pm. They are good with noise times though so come 11, the noise level dropped and everyone could sleep. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone who enjoys swimming.
We've been here many times and always enjoy ourselves.
Large hotel. But the rooms and service is average. Better options exist in this area unless you're visiting specially for the pool which has water coming directly from the nearby hot spring.
A really nice Hotel with access to the lake, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, definitely a destination for a relaxing stay in the hills of Harrison Hotsprings, nice staff, good food, and luxury feel. Comfortable beds and nice rooms, would gladly stay here again and again.
Diana from house keeping was so friendly helping me get acclimated by answering my questions no matter how silly. Thanks Diana for making me feel welcome.
Beautiful hotel overlooking Harrison lake. We spent our 30th anniversary there just last qeek
Peaceful No More! We have come here quite a bit over the years. Our place for peaceful retreat. As I write this tonight, we are in our second night of listening to a rowdy, horrendous LOUD group of 24-30 somethings that are staying here for a conference. They have TAKEN OVER the pools area and we have our TV turned up to 30 and still can hear them hooting and hollering. Not to mention we notice they have a "Pool Bar" now. We were told this happens more often now and is becoming the norm. This place is changing and not for the better, we are so sad and disappointed. I am hoping a manager will see this and try to set the standards that this place had before, and maybe a "tea bar" rather than serve alcohol. This is not Vegas!!!!
Rooms seemed a bit old, but the real draw are the pools, which were nice and warm.
The overall stay was good. The view was of course, amazing, with the mountain and lake around. There were several places you could go to, that is only exclusive to Harrison Guest. For example, in front of the lake where you could relax and sit down away from crowds on a busy weekend.
There was also a walking path with a small fountain and pond, a very relaxing place.
The only thing I would prefer that they change is the opening hours for outside hot springs. We planned our stay to enjoy the hot springs but never got to it as there was a wedding that night and all the guest of that wedding occupied the hot spring. The indoor one is opened til 1am but after closing the outdoor at 10pm everyone at the outdoor transfered to the indoor pool. I mean who could blame them, that's why we booked the place, for a hot spring. I just hope they kept the outdoor one open so there's more room with the wedding guest added, they are a big group getting together in one place.
I have stayed here twice for a week a visit. Staff is friendly, service is excellent, food is excellent, rooms are clean, I have stayed at both sides of the hotel, all very nice, weight room needs to be updated but it's still good enough for cardio and light weight lifting. Parking is good. Walkable distance to the beach and to the town of Harrison.
With the snow coming down it was a bucket list item checked off for me. Being in the back hotspring pool was probly one of the most enjoyable relaxing times I've ever had. Staff were amazing. I recommend a spa treatment as well. Reasonable prices very well trained staff. We also enjoyed brunch there and hands down one of the best brunches at the price point I felt I was taking advantage. Thanks again everyone at Harrison Hotsprings Hotel for a wonderful time !
The hot springs themselves were great, but the rooms were not very sound-proofed. Got woken up a few times from loud guests down the hall.
indoor hot spring pool is small. The water in Out door pool was cold. Swimming pools are small too. Rooms are OK, kind of old but clean. The branch was good where you can see the lake. Generally it is a good place to go.
Refused to let my party use the hot springs unless we spent $100 at the spa first.
I like the variety of hotspring hot tubs, pools, and saunas available (indoor and outdoor). The atmosphere is pleasant and the doors are comfortable. Tea time at 4 o clock is a tradition and a must!
The cheese cake at the island bar is to die for and the staff was so great! Will be making sure we stop here next time we are visiting.
We love our stay at the resort. Had the pool side view and family enjoyed the scenery. Worth the stay
Beautiful place to stay! So relaxing and all the staff are so polite, and the service is awesome. And the hotsprings are wonderful, you can just walk around in your house coat all day if you really wanted. Will definitely be staying here again!
The check in process was a mess. The room was not available until 5:30pm, we had to wait for hours. We booked 2 queen bed room for 4 person, but there was only two bathrobes. To be honest, I wouldnt come back again, not worth the money.
Wonderful place to refresh and relax while enjoying the many mineral pool, spas and wonderful food services
After many years of happiness we got a knockdown from this hotel service.
We booked for one night, took our dog.
We look at check-n condition during booking: 4:00pm
We came earlier, but not at 4:00pm, not at 5:00pm the room wasn't ready. At 5:30pm we asked again about time when the room could be ready. The receptionist said, that she doesn't know. Maybe in half an hour, maybe in one hour or more.
We have to cancel the booking with confirmation from the reception about 100% refund. The next day the took from the credit card $421.
We understand, that the hotel sold all rooms, but doesn't have enough cleaning persons. If your cleaning people can't prepare all rooms, sell some % of the rooms. And if come for one night with dog, we can't use the pool. Dogs aren't allowed there. People, please, be careful with this hotel now. Starbucks in the hotel closed at 4:00pm. The bar on the pool deck didn't work. The indoor pool and spa closed.
On the deck and outdoor pools nobody keep a social distance. It looks like a crowd place. What is the reason to deep cleaning room, like the say, if no rules in the pool deck.

Way too over priced for rooms. Took us an hour to check in and our room still wasn't ready. The room was out dated and we were on the pool side which was so loud till 11pm and we had three little kids. Save your money.
Excellent location and amazing place. Pricey but otherwise it was great experience.
Stayed for two nights at the resort. During offseason, you can get a cheaper rate with the breakfast buffet included. Room was comfortable though very dated. Pools were great and not terribly crowded. Breakfast was terrific and I'd definitely recommend trying the buffet.
We had an amazing get-away. The hot pools are amazing...so is the spa and buffet! Beautiful scenery and friendly people.
Overall, disapointing. Not the fault of any staff members.
It was a great vacation spot, but I would only go there like 2 times at most
Rooms are tiny, you have to pay for parking, gym closes at 9?????, pool closes at 10:30, no complementary breakfast, manager is rude, not much too like. Kids are considered to be anyone under 19 so a 18 kid that can VOTE, can t use the adult pool or pool at night. This place seems really out of touch with the world. For the price I highly don t recommend. Much better options. Pathetic.
Rooms were alright but not renovated. Friendly staff.
Great resort one of the best to relax and unwind..great hot pools and the best part is you can have a beer in the pool. Also go for the west wing rooms, though a bit expensive they have the best views.
Stayed in the older section. Smelt like urine on the 3rd floor elevator. Pools were absolutely amazing.
Perfectly decent hotel, like a slightly better best western, in a beautiful landscape with friendly staff. Had a minor issue getting a cot to the room, but it was resolved. Buffet breakfast had lots of offerings plus an omelette bar. Thorough but fairly pricey room service menu. Had a poolside room that was just lovely.
The pools (especially the indoor ones) have WAY too much chlorine. Everytime I go there I end up leaving with swollen itchy cheeks. The only thing that guest services would do was give me a big bag of ice. Not happy.
I am a world traveler. I have stayed at luxury and bargain properties around the world, and am sorry to say I am very disappointed with my recent stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort. We checked in on a Saturday and pleasantly enough, there was no line-up and our room was ready early (this was around 1:00pm). We stayed in the West tower and unfortunately, it has not been updated for many years. There were scratch marks lining the interior hallways, the carpets were encrusted with dust in parts of our room and the decor was seriously lacking. Our room had a beautiful view, but our bed was very old and hard. We did not really sleep properly due to the hardness. As well, the comforter on the bed was extremely thin, which was odd since it is the middle of Vancouver winter. The bathroom in our room was comically small, my partner is a very large man and couldn't use the toilet without bumping his shoulders... seriously!
During our weekend stay the outdoor pools were very crowded (not the fault of the hotel, just a note). The pools also seemed poorly maintained as there was quite a bit of dirt at the bottom of the pools and lime scum throughout. We could not find additional towels at the pools, but this may have been our oversight.
We booked a lovely dinner on Sunday night at the Copper Room which I was greatly looking forward to. We purchased a package with our stay, so it was great that our meal was included, I would recommend doing this for other guests. Once again, much to my continual chagrin, my meal was terrible! I'm shocked by this as I have stayed at this resort many many times and told my partner how wonderful the food was. My chicken breast was dry, unflavourful and bland. The vegetables were just a few steamed seasonals and the mashed potatoes had lumps. I would never pay almost $50 for this entree.
Overall we also found the staff to be lacking of a Fairmont property. I have stayed at other Fairmont properties with wonderfully accommodating staff, trained with excellent customer service, however on numerous occasions at this one we just found the attitudes lacking and the extra consideration not at all there. For example, we had our "do not disturb" sign visibly placed on our door, but the house-keeping staff still knocked (found this a little odd). When we visited the lounge area that was quite busy, the waitress informed us we could "get friendly with other guests" or "grab some chairs" if we wished to be seated. Again, not very accommodating.
For future guests I recommend this property only if you are willing to pay the outrageous price to stay in the East Tower and be prepared to not be met with the Fairmont brand standards or levels of service.
Rooms were meh, and overall lacked the quality for the price. Valet took an hour to retrieve our car, they didn't have any large robes available, buffet was overpriced for okay food, not much better than than a free one at a cheaper hotel. The entire place felt understaffed with few people Manning the desk and the phones. I would not stay here again without kids, as they might enjoy this place more.
If I could give zero I would. Check in its at 4pm I'm still waiting for my room to be ready at 7pm needless to say we have cancelled and will not come back. This place used to be great until new owners bought it 2years ago.
Beautiful view & great well maintained hot pools.......we stayed in the west tower which had a inconveniently located mini fridge at floor level, also the hallway outside our room smelt like rotten fish every day we were there. We asked & were told that it was from the restaurant that was located on the same floor, we suspect that their used grease storage was improperly covered......so offputting that we couldn't bring our selves eat in any of the restaurants. My bathrobe came pre stained with wine & the toilet was so small that it was difficult to get my hoop & my junk lined up at the same time not to mention having my knees up around my ears!!!
Amazing place, very busy but lots of room in the pools. Even though it was cloudy the whole time the water was warm! Will be back.
I rather liked this resort. We were here for training during early February and the pools were open, the food was good and the hotel was clean. I've stayed in both the old and new sections and the old section is certainly creaky but it was neat to step back in time with some of the room designs. Thanks guys, will check you out in the summer when you have the inflatable rafts and structures out on the water.
As only at the hotel for a short time, but everything looked nice. Will have to come back for an overnight stay soon.
Loved the City and the pools. The parking lot is too small tough. Be ready to wait 15 min or more for a spot.
I Had a reservation for Sat Feb 23rd (today) for one night. Once we got there to check in to our room, we were told that all pools are closed due to some precautionary safety measures! The lady at the front desk was so mean and rude to us and did not even bother to apologies for the inconvenience they have caused. She gave us so much attitude that I had to ask for her manager, who only offered us to stay at the hotel and go to a public pool away from the resort for free (which I figured it costs $10 per person for public drop in!) or cancel our reservation and get a 10% discount for our next visit! which was absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that we were only there for the comfort of using the pool in the resort. Other than that why would we have to pay $250 per night for a room which can be reserved in a nearby hotel for less than $100 a night!
They reacted as if they are not responsible for our time and our weekend plan that is now wasted.
The irony is had I cancelled my reservation less than 72 hours, I would have been charged for a full night. But when the most important part of the service (which is being able to use the pools in the resort) is being cancelled, they only offered 10% discount on next reservation AFTER I drove all the way down to got there! They did not even bother that we have been driven for 2 hours to get there and simply said that is the best they can do. This is so irresponsible behavior and very poor service! So Disappointed...
Main hotel has charming decor and outdoor mineral pools were to die for even in the pouring rain
love the pools, especially the indoor ones! however the rooms are dated and the restaurants are super over priced and not good
My girlfriend and I were at the spa celebrating being together for 5 years by doing g the couples massage. It's a wonderful experience with access to the healing pools before and or after your massage. Excellent reception staff and above expectation for the service and care provided by our massage therapists. After leaving I felt a complete ease off all stress and agitation. I would defenetly go there again and would recommend others as well
The resort location is stunning, situated across from the lake and nestled in rolling hills and mountains. It is an older hotel but must have been grande in its day. Its clean, has great food and beverages. The rooms have an old smell, theres no escaping it. Some room fixtures are also quite dated. Beds and pillows are fantastic though! Enjoying my stay immensely!
Nice natural hot springs pools. Good service and food is very good ,older section could use an update a little pricey for such a.dated room, but you're there for the hot springs
Spa staff is wonderful. The food in the bar was really good, drinks were great. And just soaking and unwinding in the pools is always worth the trip!
Beautiful place. Service was good. Room was clean. Bed was a hard. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
Love the pool. Staff were nice and friendly. Rooms are a little dated.
This was the first time I've ever had to wait in line to check in (and we had a reservation!). This illustrates my only frustration with the place - it feels super busy with guests, and like maybe they could use more staff.
The place is totally clean and attractive (though admittedly a little dated), and the staff are friendly and kind (they just need more of them!). The pools are beautiful. It's just that there are a LOT of guests there. It can be hard to find a place to sit in the pools or at things like the half-hour afternoon tea.
Breakfast buffet was adequate. We ate our other meals in town where there are more choices in cuisine and price.
Nice 'heritage building'. Hope it doesn't get modernized anytime soon. Enjoyed the experience.
Tldr version; Don't stay here, the management staff are horrible and prices don't reflect what you get.
Front desk staff and cleaners are friendly. However, we had an issue with parking at the hotel (not a resort as the whole place is incredibly dated) and the supervisor who we contacted about this issue actually THREATENED us with towing our vehicle even though we paid for parking in their lot. We even asked if it would be alright to check out late as they ask their guests to check out extremely early, we were then THREATENED again with being charged we would be charged a whole extra day for being out even an hour late. Considering what they charge I will NEVER stay here ever again.
Post Check-out edit: the front desk staff and bell hops were extremely friendly and accommodating. It is the management that needs to seriously change their attitudes.
The Fountain of youth! A magnifiscent setting, excellant food and courteous staff.
Drove for 4 hours and payed for 3 hours of parking only to find out that there is no drop in hotspring access. The towns public pool is the alternative option.
This is a beautiful spot. Unfortunately the hotel could really use some attention as it's showing its age.
My family stayed here for one night, our first time. The lobby was our first impression and it was lovely. Front desk staff were friendly. When we got off the elevator to our room I was taken back by how dirty the place was, stains on the carpet, storage areas for cribs and cots were tucked in the hallway, the couches were old and dirty. Most of all, the window out to the lake was FILTHY (see picture). Our room was clean but very dated, the beds were comfortable but the sheets were starchy . We paid extra for a lake view and the view did not disappoint. The pool was lovely with a great view of a glacier. I also liked how we were able to drink in the pool. All in all it was an OK night away, but for the price we paid and the experience we got, I don't think we will be rushing back there anytime soon.
Room on old side was moldy, loud (people in next room might as well have been in our bed talking to us). Kids screaming in pool at 830 after being awake all night from party above us. Mentioned to front desk. Seemed like a well practiced reply. Oh well thats what the heritage rooms are like blah blah. Looks like A LOT of people have left bad reviews and will continue to do so until the ownership takes that $250 from the crappy rooms and does a revamp. Heritage doesn't mean it should be terrible. Look at the Fairmont, old yes, crappy, not even!!!!
My friend and I stayed here for three days as a reunion after 4 years, all paid for courtesy of American Express.
We got the Getaway Package- highly recommend this package! Was nice to have buffet breakfast and a nice night in the Copper Room for dining.
The hotel and rooms are quite outdated, although it appears they are making improvements to this. It is nice that they have different wings to provide different rates and more financially friendly options (although it is still quite pricey!).
The pools were wonderful, but I do wish they the rules were better regulated as there were many kids in the adult pool, rough housing and yelling in the Quiet Area, and people smoking, drinking, and eating while soaking in the pools.
The buffet breakfast was great! So many options. I do wish there were a few more veggie options, but there was still enough for me to eat and be satisfied gets very lined up, but they have a pretty good system in place so you re not waiting too long for breakfast.
The copper room dining experience was lovely- great service and delicious food. Modest portion sizes, but was satisfied by the end of the three course meal.
The robes are really small! You can ask for larger ones at the front desk we learned, but wished we would ve been told this upon checking in.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! It was a wonderful relaxing getaway. That being said, I do think there should be improvements in rule-management in the pools and I think it s way too overpriced for how outdated it is. I don t think I would stay again at these prices if I had to pay out of pocket.
Got there because the public pool was in yearly cleaning. The hotel got much much better pools both indoor and outdoor. Water temperature as any hot springs outside Japan, is barely hot enough to enjoy.
Wish I could of picked a less busy weekend to come to Harrison hot springs resort. Very crowded adult pool. Lots of alcohol being consumed, with one group even drinking wine from a bottle. Don't care if people choose to drink, but doesn't seem to be enough monitoring of stupid drunks. Also share the repeated comments by many that you can't get a robe that fits you or have to wait for availability?
Nice hotel with a wonderful view of the lake. We were very satisfied. Gladly again.
We were disappointed with our stay at the hotel. We spent over 400 dollars for the room expecting that it should be respectable at that rate. Instead, we arrived at check in to find the room was not ready. We waited over an hour to get in, and then found the room, while spacious, had not been renovated in many years. The carpets were stained and cigarette burned. The hotel wanted to charge extra fees for everything from parking to music on the TV. No continental breakfast. I have stayed in nicer hotels for less than half the price. Would not recommend.
