Nice place to stay. However, when you book a gateway package, they don't tell you that you only get a $88 credit for the dinner at the copper room. The front desk didn't tell me when I checked in either. Even after showing my server the voucher, my server didn't tell me anything either. The extra charges just shows up on your bill and you have to email their manager about it. It would be nice if when you booked your package it tells you how much credit you get because it's $128 more expensive than just getting a breakfast and bed, which doesn't make sense for me to buy it at all.

As a response to the owner, I know the cost is stated on the website.

If you take a look at the description from your website, nowhere does it say that the 3 course dinner is only worth $88, nor does it say you could only order from a special menu. No part of my email confirmation said that either.

It's always a nice stay at Harrison Resort. A little bit loud if you're really looking to relax, but overall a huge trip. Islands bar could use a fresh menu, everything deep fried isn't ideal. Also, the amenities in the rooms could use an upgrade. The robe was to small and that was the only size, tp was very thin and scary like scratchy for a $300/night room.

A relaxing and fun get away spot that you don't have to drive a long way to get to. We really like the pools and the fun copper room restaurant. The rooms are a bit dated but you don't go to this hotel if you just want to stay in your room.

Spectacular, a wonderful view, the attention is first. Lastin for so little time.
It is a beautiful place and its people are very warm.
To make a simile, the closest thing would be like in villarrica, but with civilized, clean, friendly people ..... they look at you and say hello, and you have not seen them in your life ..... no one is running or clogging to nobody.
It is another world. We are definitely light years away.

This place is a classic for my family. Never disappoints. Also great for just couples. Have complimentary tea around 4, pools are good and just fun all around. Nice place for relaxation and a quick getaway for the weekend.

It was great! Mind you we did not stay in a room but we Did make use of the other amenities. The hot springs themselves are excellent, and so are the staff. The food was also good. Just from looks alone I would say it is one of the higher end joints in Harrison, you can't really go wrong here.

Took a. 2hr lake cruise from shoreline tours. It was a very good tour. The crew were fantastic. On our tour today we didn't see any wildlife but they do have other tours during the year. Enjoyed the very gentle cruise. It was a great sunny day. They have food and beverage onboard which one can buy.

Super.

Was very disappointed, definitely not what I expected for the price of $270 for 1 night. The long was beautiful and staff were friendly, the mineral pools were my absolute favourite part. Our room was dank and very old ( I get it was builder in 1800 s but maybe do some updates) I wouldn t go back, my girlfriend had a way better hotel but she got 2 nights for the price of our 1 night. Kicker was having to pay for the bottles water in the room after paying $270 to stay 1 night

Definitely a must for Vancouverites looking to escape the city. If you visit you have to go to the resort if only for the pools and amenities. The lake is cold but amazing views and there is great hiking and sceneries. Can get quite touristy so plan your timing wisely!

2nd time being here and it's always an amazing experience. Beautiful views of the pools from our room and the service was impeccable. The bar downstairs serves the amazing snack food and I only wish we ate at the Cooper Room. We went by a few times and the music coming from their made it so magical, so beautiful. Although the rooms are small and kinda dated. The pools bottoms are rough, this resort is a gem.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. Do to covid19, we had to help pack the linen upon checkout and the spa was not available. Needless to say, I cannot give a proper assessment of all facilities.

The resort, as always, is phenomenal. Unfortunately it is very, very busy and as a result, waits for tea-time are very long. It is a popular destination for wedding parties and that makes it busier. Staff are great though and try to accomodate clientele as well ares they can. If you go and need quiet, then stay at the tower, not the old building. If you like staying at historical buildings then anywhere will do. Breakfast Buffett is fantastic!

One of the best resorts. Lakeview restaurant has a great food choices. Big variety of pools indoors and outdoors.
Pros:
- Good restaurant
- Nice view (depending on a room)
- Variety of indoor and outdoor pools
- Poolside bar and grill

Cons:
- extremely busy
- a little bit pricey

Hotel and service were very good. Rooms were a bit outdated and noise passes through the walls very easily. Pools are nice and relaxing, especially at night time. Never really quiet though due to the amount of kids.

It was wonderful!!! The staff were very friendly and happy, food was amazing as well as the drinks which were nicely mixed. The pools themselves were super relaxing and enjoyable! The surrounding area was gorgeous! It also has 3 pokestops in the hotel with 3 gyms nearby and tons of pokestops, you can also find squirtle in the area!

Complete tourist trap. Upon exiting the car, the first impression is the aroma of manure that fills the town. Further more, we looked into what the hot springs are all about and were told it is not open to the public and is for guests only. Such a waste of time on our drive to the interior. The front desk woman at guest services was a total hag.

Fantastic mineral pool within the facility. Parking lot is pretty decently sized. Lots of guests sharing the lot, so you may want to get here earlier if you want to easily find your parking space. Starbucks located inside the resort.

I went with my husband and our two year old to the restaurant to get breakfast. The only option was buffet, which was running for another hour and a half. I paid over $50 plus gratuity for our brunch. Most things were cold or had been sitting for a very long time. The omelette bar was decent but not worth the price. I would recommend instead you go to Muddy Waters for breakfast. You will pay way less but be far more satisfied.

We stayed in the west tower on the 6th floor. The room was quite well kept and the view was alright. It was a view of the waterfront part of town, the lagoon, and part of the lake. It was awkward having to walk through the main floor lobby from the elevator to the pools while wearing a robe. The indoor pool was meant as a quiet area for reflection, but it was often a bit loud. The steamrooms were separated between male and female, so I was not able to sit in there with my girlfriend. The dollies/carts for luggage are for use by the bellhops only and require the purchase of valet parking, which is $18/night, instead of the $10/night regular parking in the back. The spa was lovely with very friendly staff in a quiet, calm environment. We found there were several sets of stairs in the lobby area, which I found difficult with leg injuries. The walk from the indoor pools to the hotel building was mighty cold and it would've been nice if it was covered or heated. It was overall a great experience for a decent price. The complimentary afternoon tea was very nice and I enjoyed the baked goods that were offered.

We have great memories of this place but today was a huge disappointment. Room not ready at check in. Patio furniture dirty. Spiderwebs on room ceiling and in hallway. Elevator door stuck closed and we were trapped with 6 others, bandaids in pool. People bring glass beers to pool (accident waiting to happen), buffet breakfast only- can t order off of the menu. Carpets are dirty... oh well, next time for $300 plus we will look for a Airbnb.

The worst front desk, valet and concierge experience, I've ever had at a hotel and a general ambiance of the hotel being on their last dime.
Rooms were shabby, towels and sheets had flaws, "hot" pools just tepid. Harrison Beach Hotel provides a much better experience or drive a little further and enjoy true luxury and service at the Kootenay area hotels. We were very disappointed.

A nice quick getaway from Vancouver. Very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Staff are professional and friendly. We were disappointed to find out the Lakeside Cafe no longer offers an a la carte breakfast, and lunch options are also limited at the resort. There are several restaurants a block away for more dining options. The rooms need to be updated, as the sink and carpets were stained, and the beds are not very comfortable.

Rooms can be a little small and dated but the hot spring pools are well worth it. Very relaxing. The area looks great in the winter after a fresh snowfall as well. On site dining is convenient and above par. Well priced for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful location with lots of things to do here and in the surrounding area. Our room was very nice decide us selecting the cheapest option and the resort services were very good. We got the getaway package which included an awesome breakfast buffet each day and a 3 course dinner in the copper room. I highly recommend this. The pools are great but got very busy at times and pool rules and etiquette are not enforced well.

The hotel is really nice, with the beautiful lake right in front of it, and relaxing pools. But on one side of the hotel, it doesn't have air conditioning, and is really hot in the summer. The beds are also pretty small. But I do rate it the best hotel in Harrison.

Overall, it was a good stay, but expensive and pools were just okay. I have included all my thoughts on our stay while at the resort

Negative:
-System was down when checked in so it took a lot longer than usual (30-40min) and its super hard to hear anyone, when checking in, because of the tile floor and how the desk is
- Since system was down, we couldn t charge anything to the room (during full duration of stay), instead of paying cash/debit all week (for things such as pool side bar)
- A lot has to be remodeled. We were told that we were in the "newer part", but it definitely did not seem so. Also, lots of units don't have air conditioning apparently, don't even know how that's even a thing
- We were overcharged for the first night
- The pools were all not very warm, considering this was a "hot springs resort", I've been to a hot spring and those pools, were not the same. This resort was colder
- Not a big surprise, but the hotel was expensive, minimum $295 a night, even with a wedding party discount.
- Why aren't there towels at the pool?! Just why
- And why are the luggage carts locked up, so I have to ask to use one? Annoying when other hotels don t do this

Positive:
- We were there for a wedding and they were helpful with helping us set everything up and with letting us borrow random things, to help us.
- The setting was beautiful outside, especially for weddings
- Staff was all helpful and understood our wedding needs

Ridiculous 1 hour check in line wait. Food is barely passable at the buffet. We chose to eat elsewhere second day despite being free . The resort is dated. The Copper room was a bit better but expensive .The hotel room smelt in the bathroom no fans. The hot spring pools are nice and refreshing.

Our stay was pleasant enough. The pools are the highlight of course. Restaurant is way over priced as is the breakfast buffet. Our room was comfortable but one of the lamps was broken and when I phoned the front desk to ask a question, it took over a minute before anyone answered the phone.

We were excited coming here because this was our very first time ever coming to Harrison Hot Springs. We've heard so much about here for years!

When we finally arrived, we were a bit surprised since this didn't look like a resort, but a normal Inn.

But what we were told when we entered was that we had to wait since the staff weren't done cleaning our rooms. So we waited. And waited. We ended up waiting 3 hours. We had to put all of our bags on the car. By the time they were done, we already had dinner and the sun was already set.

We basically missed half of our day just waiting for them to clean our room. While we were waiting on the lounge, a friend we knew walked by. After we chatted, they said they also had to wait 3 hours for them to clean their room. Huh. Interesting...

Since it was already night time, we decided to check out the renowned hot springs. What met our eyes was a sad sight.

The "Hot Springs" was just a bunch of swimming pools with warm "therapeutic" water and an indoor hot tub. The only thing "hot spring" about this was the decor. In fact, the only thing we even liked were the landscaping and the beautiful sight around us.

There was a bunch of dirt and debris inside the pool though. It was really gross.

The last straw was the pool bar. The Copper room. We saw lots of people with a drink in the pool even though there was a "NO DRINKS IN POOL" sign.

We went to the bartender and he gave us the most condescending look ever. Before we even spoke, he growled, "yes? Can I help you?"

When we ordered our drinks, he sniffed at us and asked us for our ID. We said that it was back in our rooms since this was inside a pool. He said that no ID= no drinks. My brother was furious. Everybody else was drinking without any ID at all. In fact, we were the only asians. We were even debating if the bartender was being racist.

We were the only ones ID'd in the entire pool.

The gentleman lining behind us gave us an empathetic shrug. He even offered to buy us drinks. But we were too turned off to even drink anymore. All we knew was that this place was not the place we hoped it would be. The Copper room? Good name. Because they don't even deserve to be called "Silver".

Even their checkout was at 11:00am when other hotels let you checkout in the afternoon. This trip was a total letdown. At least the staff let us use the pool as long as we liked after we checked out.

But this place shouldn't even be called "resort". Everything is expensive and they don't even offer what resorts should have. Compared to the hot spring resort in Japan, this is a joke.

The most relaxing vacation I've ever had! The spa treatments are incredible and the staff are always super helpful when answering questions! I can't wait to go back! The room service was wonderful and all of the hotel staff I interacted with were incredibly kind and helpful!

Anyone heard about late check-in? This is my first time in my life to enter my room after check in time. Apparently I might get a room around 4:30 without appropriate apology and obviously I am not the only one having the worst experience. This is a nightmare.

We've been going there for 15 years and this time were quite disappointed. Water in the outdoor squared pool was cold. Water in the indoor pool had so much clorin in it that we couldn't swim there at all. It's the first time we encountered both problems.
However, it's the only one to go...
Yes, it was a cold weekend, however when we stayed there in January of 2012 it was even colder, snow was falling and not melting but the pool was warmer.

Really nice resort! The area is absolutely stunning and the hotel delivers on taking enjoyment of the area to the max. Hotel is right on the lake delivering great views and convient proximity to the small town of Harrison Hot Springs. Hotel rooms are well appointed, the 5 pools are all fantastic. Staff is incredibly friendly. Just a nice place to go and relax and enjoy a day or two.

Weekend away with the wife was amazing. Our staff party was held in the conference centre which the hotel team pulled off perfectly. Room and resort was a great break from our normal busy kid packed family life. We will be back there again soon.

Warning that heritage rooms mean really, really old. Don't go by the photo. I'm sure they've done what they is possible give the infrastructure and the age of the building. Rooms are so small that you may have trouble opening the door fully. In our case the windows opened up the the roof! Light bulb was out in the room and the ceiling fan was old toggle styles which didn't work in some cases. I can imagine this will turn off a lot of people. The gym room was adequate. The reason you'll really be coming here are the hot springs. The hot spring pools are very nice. I do think they do need another family pool as it can get very crowded. For the pools we'd probably come here again.

We hadn't been in many years and decided to go for a quick getaway.

The pools were wonderful and we enjoyed the food and drinks in the bar area during the evening. The service at the bar was prompt and friendly.

When we had been many years ago we stayed in the east tower and the rooms were fantastic. This time we could only get a room in the West tower and it was clean, but a bit dated in areas and we could hear the neighbours through the walls and doors. The bathroom and showers were updated, but mattresses were older and not the most comfortable. We loved the balcony and view of the lake, islands and mountains.

We would return again...

You feel like you ve stepped back in time so much character and class. We are here for week five of the CLC Winter school and the staff is on point as if they haven t been doing this for 4 weeks straight already. Very helpful and the service is top notch. I myself love the historic feel and the Hotsprings are just what this girls aching bones ordered.

Beautiful landscapes crapped up by a tourist destination. Eyesores like a city of inflatable structures on the lake. Silent tubs where nobody knows how to be quiet. Bathing suits required everywhere. Sigh.
