One of the nicest hotel resort in B C. The pools are fantastic! The resort in Vernon is nicer but if you have younger kids can't go there!

Clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Nice and relaxing mineral pools. Would come back for sure.
This visit was much better. Staff was more cheery and friendly.
I love this resort, I have been here twice. Once for six nights and the second time for one night. The second time the view for my room was so bad. The first time, it faced to pool that was not so bad, except for nights and sleeping hours, it was noisy. But the second time my room faced to the wall. I am not sure why the manager wants to rent these rooms. I love other things.
Cuourteous operators and the price is good and genuine!
There was one petrol station on the US side advertising for super cheap petrol. We queued up like others in November 2016, majority Canadians. On the way back to Canada, the car started to rattle.
Come for the hot springs access, stay a bit longer for the decent food, but don't stay the night. While the hotel pools are quite relaxing and the multiple dining options are quite tasty in their own right, 'quiet' is pretty much the antithesis of the hotel. It's an older building, so you've got thin walls already, but 'quiet' areas are frequently anything but. The pools are open for adults only from 10 PM to 11 PM... but then you get woken up by children around 4 AM six rooms down from you and your restful sleep is anything but. Layout is a bit confusing as well, as while there's signs to kind of point you in the right direction what they really need are better maps. The Lakeside Cafe, for example, isn't on the 2nd floor, but the 3rd, but the 1st and 2nd floors are kind of the same thing? It's strange, to say the least.
We had an uwful and disappointing experience.
I booked for riverside (new offsite motel?) for $149 plus tax. They told us we can walk a little bit through the gate. But the gate was locked, room key didn t open the gate; which means you have to walk through the road where public can see you wearing shower gowns. I saw All the guests in the MOTEL had to drive to the resort. Which felt I am coming from a different motel. At least you should open the gates for your guests if we can use your facilities; not DRIVING. Seriously?
We had to get in the car wearing wet swimsuits and towels and shower gowns to come back to our room.
There is a huge fence between our building and the resort which felt we were not welcomed.
Also, the washroom, it looked like a very cheap motel which costs $40 per night, maybe less. The sink was old, tub was old (well it was painted to cover up the old ones). And the shower, really? Do you think this really worth it? NOT AT ALL.
Nobody would come again paying $172.84 after taxes for this room. We can also hear people walking up and down the stairs from our bedroom. We could even hear them talking in their rooms.
I was really looking forward to this to chill after long trip to Okanagan; which was our honeymoon.
But it was just... disappointing.
Copy n cozy and absolutely love the pools... so relaxing...
While the rooms and the hotel are quite beautiful, the service at this hotel is the worst I have ever seen. My grandma booked a trip for my whole family OVER A YEAR in advance. They didn't have most of our rooms available when we arrived. They also messed up on all of the credit card deposits. Only one of our 11 rooms had the correct charge. Some people were charged over $1000 just as a deposit.
All of our bills were supposed to be on my grandma's bill as a treat to us but they messed up and charged everyone individually which caused my grandma a large amount of distress. After spending 3 hours each day of her vacation spent trying to deal with the finance issues, they even tried to kick her out of her room a day early.
Oh I also don't want to forget to mention their hotel restaurant took over 2.5 hours to get our party of 17 their food while there was absolutely 0 other people in the restaurant. They also messed up and brought 4 of us the wrong dishes and the food was terrible.
This is the third year I've returned to Harrison. The atmosphere is motivation for a holiday tradition. While snow is common in Christmas time, we were a little early this year. The rooms are cozy and the decision to splurge for a room with a king bed was definitely worth it.
Nice resort to go to for a relaxing spa holiday. The pools were nice and relaxing with a good temperature. The room was also very clean with room service asking if we wanted more towels often. I did find the towels quite scratchy on the face and skin
Had my 1st anniversary here. Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Hope u do to!
I love this place....so peaceful sitting outside in the clean hot springs...we love the high tea too
So far, the trip has been thourghly relaxing and enjoyable. Free room upgrade, lake view, quiet and clean. Room service is excellent.
I ve been coming here since the late 1970 s. I have seen this place change and grow over the years. I have found it a bit pricey the last few years and the promotions tend to leave me expecting better prices. It is a fun place for my kids to enjoy. I think they should stress more to the grumpy older people to stick to the adult pools if they don t want to be around loud kids having fun. It has some cool local restaurants near by yo check out and there is a water park in the lake which is very fun when it s hot out. The water park as far as I know is separate from the resort. My advice is to stay in the older part of the hotel because the closer you are to the pools the better!
Awesome experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a great time.
The location is awesome! Right beside the lake but away from the relatively busy area. The rooms are nicely cleaned and are non smoking. The staff are friendly but run on small town time, so please adjust your expectations appropriately
quite nice but maybe a bit overrated. Pretty crowded during weekends. Most spas are linked to hotels so look out to book the right hotel.
It was a very good rest in Harrison. The hot springs were very hot and it was perfect in the rain. I'll be back in a month with my girlfriend.
Lovely location and resort. Lots of hot springs, pools, and great dining (The Copper Room is so lovely and had great music). Our room in West tower was nice though it felt a bit dated and lots of the lights make a buzzing sound.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
This is a beautiful resort. The hotel is above average although not the best I've seen. Restaurants are very folksy and relaxing environment. The lake abs activities are fantastic!
Hotel is very obviously aging and doesn't seem to be well cared for anymore, but the hot pools are still lovely and worth the visit
Nice place for quick visits. Rooms need some works, and keepers do not leave bath robes at rooms. Need to call the operator.
Hot springs are really nice. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. The lakeside cafe definitely needs some improvement on their food quality. I know it is a buffet but not worth the money they want
Comfy rooms and great hot pools, although they're a bit too chlorinated for my liking.
Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Rooms were nice, pool was so cool! I will be coming back soon.
Love this place. The public hot spring is very a relaxing place to soak and de-stress.
We live comming here the spa is amazing and the service is always outstanding. We will be back again soon
Stayed in a West Tower Lakeview room. Nice room, spacious and clean. Good view of the lake. Staff are super friendly. Will definitely visit again.
We were booked it a riverside room. It was not explained to us that it s not on the property. It s like a crack shack. Smelled musty , pubic hair in the sink. You have to go through the parking lot to get to them pools. Bed is tiny . I use to love this place as it was the last plAce we took our son on holidays before he died. We complain Ed and nothing was done to rectify the situation.Im disappointed in the customer service and this horrible hovel they try pas as part of the resort.
Great day out. Busy in Summer. Nice eateries and galleries
The checkin is extremely disorganized and it takes forever. That makes a very bad impression!
Wonderful stay, so much to do and the Hot Springs were fantastic!
Breakfast buffet is located on second floor from 7am till 11am.
We were lucky enough to be in the Honeymoon suite. The whole place feels a little dated (not that it's a bad thing, the whole place is quite charming) but wow this room is massive, way more massive than many hotels that have similar types of Honeymoon rooms. There's essentially two separate seating areas (one with a couch and table and one with two armchairs and a small side table) plus a balcony with table and chairs, on top of a King sized bed. The shower area is massive (there's room for 6 people honestly). There's so much space in this one room.
As a guest at the hotel, you also have access to the pools (really the main attraction of Harrison Springs). We didn't try the Public Pool so I can't really compare the two but the pools at the resort (three outdoor and two indoor) are really lovely. The indoor one is much hotter than the outdoor one but I've gotta say, the outdoor one feels very serene (something about being out in the "wild" by the mountains). There's enough space with all the pools that even with other guests using the pool, it doesn't feel crowded and uncomfortable. This stay has been absolutely lovely and I highly recommend anyone to stay at least overnight while they're here!
Rooms are too old and major renovation is recommended. Some of the hallways and corridors was smelling too bad and for sure they need too renovate their facilities. Apart from that their customer service was good and overall the village and the hot spring for sure worth trying.
Way overpriced and the room had food on the floor. Very disappointing.
( NOT VEGAN/VEG FRIENDLY ) This hotel is very dated and our room smelled like salami - even after trying to air it out. The bed was comfy though! It would be nice to have some sort of decor on the wall as it is very bland/ not inviting. If you are vegan/vegetarian there are not many options for you beside cereal and runny oats ( BRING FOOD. ) I enjoyed the inside hot tub but the outside pools were packed during the day and at night people had no regard and were drinking and spilling their beer in the mineral pools. I know this resort has been around forever and it has its own charm - but I think it may suit an older crowd better
Stayed with family booking 5 rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast and pools. The hotel could use some maintenance work and updates to new codes. Time to spend some money to keep up or get ahead of regular maintenance.
Each room had its share of problems.
ie;
1)door lock needed to be changed as it failed
2) hair dryer needed replacing and electric outlets in two of the bathrooms.
3) accessible room requested was not really a true accessible room. No walk in shower only tub style. Could not use. Water closet was not wheel chair accessible.
4) on going issue with toilet not flushing Or Plugged
5) need more staff to relieve maintenance fellow that was run off his feet. Felt quite sorry for the very kind and super apologetic man.
We have been coming for decades rejuvenate ourselves twice a year!
The hot springs are situated by the lake and even the ponds over there are nice and hot. The view from the hotel is gorgeous, and there is plenty of fun for the whole family.
The amount we paid to have a relaxing few days was extremely disappointing with low quality food, a cramped mildewy hotel room, and no peace and quiet. Felt like a tourist trap getting nickel and dimed for every thing possible. Not worth it.
Always a pleasure to spend a getaway here. Brings back childhood memories.
The hot spring water is moderately hot, and there is an outdoor hot spring pool, an indoor pool, and an adult pool. The view of the mountain in front of the hotel is a great lake, and the view is very good. The facilities are not luxurious but the price is good.Family enjoyable 2 Good time to relax
We love coming here. The resort is always nice and clean. Staff is always friendly. And the pools are awesome. Gets pretty busy poolside but fantastic time.
Nice place to visit that isn't too far out from Vancouver but it is starting to feel a little bit run down.
This place can be quite busy but its not too far from Vancouver with a great scenery
Love the heated pool outdoor, especially the adult only side, you can have booze in a plastic cup.
The hotel interior is dated, but clean. The room overall is comfortable, spacious and clean.
The baby crib provided fits right between the 2 Queen beds, it is like the size of a mini crib.
Their buffet breakfast was decent, good varieties of pastry, hot and cold items.
Suitable for couples, family and friends vacation.
Use to be one of my favorite vacation (staycation) destinations. The hotel is noticeably dated. The beds, and room and amenities are in a serious need of remodel/updating.
The resort would get 5 stars for the ambience and atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The hot pools were wonderful and we managed to go at times where there wasn't a lot of crowding. We ate in the Islands bar and at the Lakeside cafe. Both places had good service and food. Where it looses stars is the room. We were in the "heritage" building. Let's call a spade a spade - it's old and outdated. It has that old building smell which gives me headaches, the floors creak, the beds creak and they're very uncomfortable! The walls are paper thin and you hear your neighbors all around and above you. It makes for 2 very achy, sleepless nights! If we were to return for another stay I would definitely make sure I was booked into one of the 2 "newer" towers.
Harrison Hot Springs Resort provided the IDEAL break from the city while we visited Vancouver for a week. The rooms in the main, older building are small but comfortable and equipped. The views from nearly every point on the property are amazing. The springs themselves are clean and relaxing - nestled in the beautiful scenery putting you completely at ease. We stayed on a Thursday evening (right after a conference and right before the weekend rush). I would recommend booking a weekday reservation if possible. Late night in the indoor hot spring and an early morning dip in the adult pool before check-out really sealed the deal. Harrison is an adorable little village with yummy food and good beer. THANK YOU HARRISON!
Incredible location. Room with lake view is the best view.
Room could use some updating.
But clean and comfortable.
Parking and check in could use some improvement.
Quite the walk to the East tower with luggage and absolutely no offer of help?!?
We have been vacationing at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa for many years. Harrison Lake is a magical place and is especially beautiful at Christmas time. The Harrison Hotel is an older hotel with a certain nostalgic charm. There are most certainly areas of this hotel that could use some improvements. The most annoying thing is the brutally slow Wifi connection. We love the food in the Copper Room and the music provided by the Jones Boys. The one thing that we also noticed this year was the lack of staff. Wondering if management is cutting back and not providing the level of service that we are used to seeing at this hotel. It would be nice to see some upgrades to this fine hotel.
It was nice, the view from our room was great, quite dated hotel, particularly the room, but nice for a night or 2
It has potential... But the owners need to put some money into renovations to clean up the decor. We had a very large room overlooking the lake, but the view was obstructed by the poor design of the window frames. The carpet was worn & appeared to be dirty / stained. Stains on the floor around the toilet. One gets the feeling that they rely on the tourist trade -- one visit & done. This could be a great get-away for us city dwellers, but we're certainly reluctant to try them again.
Rooms are nothing special looks more like a Motel room. I've been there many times but this last time was the worst. They were filming a movie they took up the entire lobby and kept shhing us. Pools were packed with drunk people not social distancing. No restaurants and zero parking without any compensation for any of the inconvenience. I am not impressed. Plus they charge a fortune and we had to bag all the bedding ourselves in tiny little garbage bags.
Went for Christmas time, 2 nights including breakfast and the copper room Christmas dinner. Our family had a great stay. Some confusion over cancelling 1 of the rooms we reserved but the manager fixed it no problem. Always love access to the pools, it's why we come.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, AVOID HARRISON
I planned a great surprise adventure for my wife's birthday. Hot spring pools, couples massage and a nice dinner.
I planned a great surprise adventure for my wife's birthday. Hot spring pools, couples massage and a nice dinner.
Upon arrival there was a 15 minute check in line but everyone was happy so no biggie. We were checked in and I ran off to park. The hotel is a maze built from years and years of add ons with some reasonably up to date but most are connected with bizarre ramps and stairwells everywhere. We finally got to the elevator and one was broken.
At this point we were still really happy ready for a great trip... until we opened the door to our room to find it was small but cute... until we opened the drapes to find we were at eye level to the tar roof and 3 feet away from a 4x4x8 humming machine blocking almost all view.
We called to get a new room. They said they weren't sure if they could change our room and we would have to get in the checkin line. The agent was very helpful and said someone already moved us. We got new keys and opened the door to find clothes all over the bed and someone in the bathroom.
Back down with all our luggage and the same agent was great and got us a third room (i was annoyed when i heard management wanted to stick us back in the first room but she convinced them we needed a new one). This room is great and a pool view but at $200 a night I expect more...
After wasting well over an hour checking in we finally got into the pool before the surprise couple massage. The pools are great but lots of hair etc floating in them. I assume filters would affect the healing properties. We got to our massage and were led from the beautiful spa into the hotel to a plain converted room. The massage was great but when we got back to the spa I asked for a receipt to claim it and found out that I paid $280 for a 50 min massage and neither was an rmt so can't claim... so a great massage tainted by huge prices and no ambiance. Too bad since the masseuses were good.
Then we went for dinner down the road to find bland food. I won't be back to Harrison hot springs unless something amazing happens from the water or an amazing breakfast can be found. So far this town is overpriced for poor quality and this hotel is not the dream stay I wanted for my wifes birthday
overall my ratings... poor for town, poor for hotel, average for spa
Hotel is older but functional. Good service. Breakfast buffet was good, worth the price. Paying for parking is annoying but whatever.
In my experience, this place does not qualify to be a "resort" it's just barely a motel/inn that happens to be near springs and has mutliple pools. The rooms are indescribably dated, carpets are dirty, and the small rooms have a foul smell. Rooms are placed so close together with paper thin walls that you would overhear people gently talking in next room. The location is great, but i guess that's the only reason that this place gets to be overrated.
Stayed in the main Hotel, bed was comfortable and well equipped. Pools are close by and amazing, well worth a stay.
Very good Western-style hot spring hotel, there are water sports facilities on the lake, suitable for a family size, there is no Tang meal in the area.
