Unimpressed. The carpet in our room was at least 20 years old and visibly stained, deck was filthy, it was in dire need of an update, yet the beds were comfortable with good pillows. The pools seemed very heavily chlorinated and were not very hot, totally voiding any therapeutic benefit from the hot spring.

Service is fine, but honestly for the price that they charge for the spa, it's so much more worth it to go to whistler's scandinave spa. I paid $300 for 2 people in a room with spa access. Yes, the hotel is nice but I went for the spa itself. The outdoor pools were luke warm at best. The indoor change room looked like it was made for 3 people. There was no place for you to relax in between dips into the pools indoor or outdoor. The chairs were all outside filled with snow and the indoor chairs were non-existent.

It was one night stay in the resort. Myself, wife, and two kids stayed on 3rd floor east tower with lake view. We had two queen beds. The resort has 5 pools including hot tub, kids, two adults pools with alcohol beverages proved in the pool, one general deep pool. It also has sauna, spa, and two Cafe's. A lot of things to do outside the resort including hiking, huge blow up water park on the lake itself, retals of different water equipment for any kind of activities. We be going there next year for more than one night stay.

Amazing view. Ordered room service and it was extremely fast and good. Decent price also. Decor could use an update. Seems to me we just stepped out of the 80's. Turned on light in bathroom and thought I was going to have a seizure! (Flickering and flashing!) But instead ordered a caesar from room service with dinner. Good caesar good price.

To start off I have been to Harrison many times and I have never experienced what I experienced during the family long weekend. Yes, it is understandable that the resort was busy and overflowing with guests due to the long weekend, but the service has nosedived in the past year. To start off, my boyfriend called the resort 3 weeks in advance to get two rooms for a couple getaway with our other couple friend. The front desk informed us that there were only two rooms available at the rate of $260 a night which is similar to what we paid for last time we went. He put down his credit card information and upon arrival we were shocked to see our rooms. It was old, dingy, unclean and to top it off, the bed and room were tiny, incomparable and misleading from the photo from the website. We called the front desk to ask if there were any other rooms available and they said there wasn t. We decided to overlook the small room that we definitely overpaid for, and tried to enjoy our time in the hot spring and eat some good food. We decided to dine at the copper room and right when we went in, the hostess looked us up and down and didn t even ask us how many people there were. My boyfriend, confused, asked if there were no tables available which after the hostess smugly looked around the half-empty restaurant and mumbled that there MAY be a table for us. We were shocked by the service from start to finish and instantly felt ripped off and disrespected even after spending 300 dollars there for dinner. NOT ONLY was the dinner overpriced, but even after giving 15% tip they added 6 percent gratitude on our bill after checkout without our acknowledgment. To top it off, I think it s common sense, especially for a restaurant that overpriced, to ask if any of the guests have allergies. I m not sure if this is not a common protocol for the servers, but we definitely weren t asked if we had any allergies before or after we ordered. When asking the server after my friend felt itchy and hot after eating the bread if there was buckwheat in the bread, the server nonchalantly said that there may or may not have had buckwheat in it . After the horrid experience, she spent the rest of the night in and out of the restroom with a massive stomach ache. We are shocked and disappointed by the experience that we had and we will NEVER go here again or recommend this place to anyone. Please save your time and money and go to whistler, at least there it will be worth your money.

Stayed in one of the historic suites during a recent business trip. The suite was a bit small with only a double bed, and the decor was quite dated. Breakfast options in the buffet were decent but pricey. The hot pools were nice, but there was a conference group in so they were quite noisy and crowded - not as relaxing as I had hoped. There were also people carrying drinks around in the pool which I found kind of bizarre.

Staff are forced to clean rooms without proper PPE provided to them. Management is not following precautionary 3 hour minimum before checking guest in. 3 hour minimum is in place to allow droplets precaution to disipate to the ground in relations to covid-19 safety precautions. Managers refusing to wear PPE because they say they don't need to because they are Management. Witnesses Management tell housekeeper if they didn't complete room cleaning quota they would lose their job. Management not asking guests to wear masks. Outbreak waiting to happen.

Upon arrival in our room we noticed most surfaces had a build up of dust. The light in the bathroom was burnt out and the entryway light fixture had a steady flicker. Chipped surfaces on the desk and ripped material on the desk chair. The room had dated carpet, semi vacuumed with bits and pieces of dirt/ hair in some areas. The bathtub had a slow drain so taking a shower involved standing in water buildup. This was disappointing. I will choose to find an alternative hotel to stay at next time we decide to visit this area. To pay full price for poor quality and an unclean room is something that no one should have to do.

We checked out the hot springs. They offered a day rate of 6 hr room rental for $125 + taxes for a maximum of 4 people. To use the hot springs for $30+/person is pretty good as we were in vacation mode. The town itself is very small but quiet and serene.
My husband and I had a wonderful date night a coup...
My husband and I had a wonderful date night a couple of weeks ago at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort after taking advantage of a "bed and breakfast" offer that the hotel had put out. While the hotel rooms themselves are not fabulous, other aspects of the hotel definitely are. My five-star review is really pertaining mostly to the Copper Room restaurant and the pools. Our experience in the restaurant, first of all, was fabulous. Dining in the Copper Room is like stepping into the gilded past: fantastic food, attentive, professional wait service, a gorgeous ballroom, and live music to dance to (Can you believe it? REAL live crooning musicians!)! I can only hope that the Copper Room is there to stay as it is. I'd love for my own kids to experience a "real" dining and dancing night akin to something my own parents and grandparents might have had the privilege of doing way back "in the day." Beyond that, there were the incredible indoor and outdoor hot springs pools! There's something magical about being able to stargaze while soaking in a huge hot spring-fed pool surrounded by snow! Awesome. The Harrison Hot Springs Resort is definitely a Fraser Valley gem and a blast from the past. It's worth checking out.

Rooms completely dated - in need of overhaul. Carpets are stinky. Room prices are overrated and very expensive. For same amount their asking, you can get same price for one night at Venetian in Las Vegas.
resort introduces awhile back wristband for pool access. Last night, we went in the pool and stayed in there until 11 PM (closing time). At 11 PM sharp, the security guy in charge with pool patrol announced that pool is closed. Then he started walking around the pool like a peacock, checking every person in the pool and one-by-one, tell everybody to get out. He approached us and found out that we were drinking in the pool. Talking to my brother about the booze we had in the bad, he stressed out to him, in a very "taking down to" tone that booze is not allowed in the pool or around the area, threatening that he will fine him $5000 for he's breach. He was talking to him very rude and very governing tone (although he was nothing more than a security guy). I have stepped up and asked the security guy: is alcohol is prohibited in the pool area, then, why is the poo, bar open to public and selling booze to all pool patrons? He immediately realized the dumb question he asked and backed up fro conversation (he walked out). Earlier that evening, he got into a rude argument with for teenagers, (under 18) that he was so proud to catch in the pool after 10 PM and he had the same approach towards them, as he did with us. He kicked them out of the pool, telling the teenagers that the have to "get out of the pool and get in their rooms" After we pay so much money, for a crappy hotel, with yet a poor service, you find a security guy like this that ruins the entire stay, because he needs to make excel of his position , and needs to act like a "peacock"
I love the "Harrison Hot Spring" resort we once knew - 8 years ago. nowadays, it's nothing but an expensive resort that doesn't deserve our business.
I'd rather go in Vegas or Bali for the same money, to a 5 stars resort, not only 3 stars.
very disappointing. Slim chances for thinking of returning here.

Love the spa. The spring mineral water is amazing. I only wish they renewed some of the hotel s features. It seems like they ve kept onto their old design of the place, the furniture, etc. For such a popular tourism site, their rooms could look more modern, maybe tv on the wall instead of in front of the mirror? That s just an example, but they may need some creativity to make the place more attractive to people who ve been to way better places for way cheaper prices. Feels like you re ripped off just for the spring water. The resort itself could use some attention.

The main hotel is decent, better than I expected. However, improvements and renovations should be made based on the price it charges. The light fixture and ceiling, were not working. The carpet is bit outdated, the walls are thin enough to hear people run in the hallway. Staffs were friendly and service was prompted.

The hotel and it's 5 hot spring pools are very nice. It is a bit pricey however and the two restaurants are opposite in offerings. One is high end, the other is lower end, both are over priced. The good news on that front is that there are many other places in the town to go to within a very short walk.

Absolutely avoid this place. (During COVID)
Stayed for one night last weekend and was super disappointed with their COVID restrictions. Both pools were absolutely packed shoulder to shoulder with guests partying. I can't even describe how gross it was. Hotel staff seemed to be supervising but never did anything. Staff wore masks but almost none of the guests wore them in common spaces including elevators.
We basically just locked ourselves in the room and checked out ASAP in the morning. This is not a safe space at this time. The hotel seems to put the onus on the guest to follow their regulations rather than make sure they are being enforced.
I highly recommend other guests with similar experiences report it to the Health Authorities.

Pools are nice, the spa was amazing. I had booked a package for manicure pedicure facial and massage and when we got there we had been advise that they wouldn't be able to accommodate the full package. The manicure pedicure was cancelled but they were amazing at making up for it. They offered us free glass of wine and a private mineral mud dip for two. Our couple massage was amazing. Very impressed with their service.

My family and I had a great time here. We stayed in the winter and it was so fun to be out in the pool at night and watch the snow fall on us. I had fun throwing snowballs and dumping snow on my kids while they were in the pool. We stayed in the older half of the hotel and while it felt old, it still felt nice and definitely enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

3 star resort at 5 star prices.
Stayed in the west wing, in a room with pool view. It's cool being able to see how busy the pool is from your room, but at the same time you won't get much privacy on the balcony so that's the trade-off you have to make.
The room was dated and overpriced. Feels more like an old apartment rather than a luxury hotel room (which is the price point they charge). There weren't even any ceiling lights anywhere near the bed. The only lights in the bedroom were lamps on each side of the bed and one lamp on the table.
The main attraction is the private outdoor (and indoor) hot springs reserved for guests only. They do look nice, especially at night. Unfortunately they are over-chlorinated, which ruins the whole health angle of hot springs in the first place.
Fresh bathrobes are supposed to be on your bed, but they were missing on ours. Reception warned us when we were checking in that this might happen and that we should call room service if the bathrobes are missing. So for some reason this seems to be a common problem that the hotel is aware of yet is still unable to fix... When we called room service, it took a good 10 to 15 minutes to receive the bathrobes.
Also, we came here on our honeymoon and were given no extras (despite letting the hotel know in advance about the honeymoon occasion). I was told by guest services that I could order roses from a local florist and that the hotel would arrange it for me for an extra fee. Likewise, wine and chocolates, which are often complimentary for newly weds in other resorts, had a large price tag associated with them here.
This place is basically a monopoly due to its unrivaled private hot springs, and the owners know it. They'll milk every dollar from you.
Lastly, this town and resort guests and staff are dominated by seniors, which kind of ruins the vibe if you're a young couple. Feels like a retirement home.

Awesome place to relax. Spa and massage are a must. Pricey. Wait for the deals or go midweek for the best prices. The old section of the hotel is cheaper, but the new sections have better views.. Love this place. If there is a wedding or convention, it could get a little loud.

A once-magnificent gem situated on beautiful Harrison lake. Unfortunately they've lost their way by taking advantage of the uninformed tourist. Expensive, outdated rooms, tacked on extra charges of parking, hotel fees, etc.
The community has been left in the 90s with no new restaurants, stores or even interest to intrigue the new-age Vancouverite's diet, tastes or needs. The hot springs have been sucked dry of their majesty with crude walkways and fences.
3 hours of waiting for food in their heavily advertised, apple-of-my-eye restaurant, The Copper Room. Only to be disappointed in portion sizing, food quality and its 80s-era menu. No proudly-run restaurant would ever allow such an egregious wait for its food, let alone with no apologies or compensation. I have very fond memories at The Copper Room as a child and hate to see what it has become. As one of the last dinner-and-dancing restaurants in the lower mainland, I only hope it's just become astray, versus being doomed to go the way of the dodo.
The hotel's saving graces include its ability to put on a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony, the bell boys, cleaning staff and maintenance staff who go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed. The hotel's outdoor pools have been beautifully updated.
I loved coming to this community as a child with my family in the early 90s and hope to see them reach this decade in the future for my family.

This property is excellent. You MUST pay the very little additional $$ to stay in the West Tower. It's worth it. Don't stay in the main part. Trust me! Our room had a balcony overlooking the pools, air conditioning, was updated with a beautiful tiled bathroom. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. You're obviously treating yourselves by coming here so why not pay the little extra to make it better? I understand if you're on a very tight budget that you have to go with the cheapest room. But you get what you pay for - no a/c, no freshly renovated room. LIVE a little! It's worth it. I only spent two nights here but wish I spent the week here. Was touring the west coast.
It's got a beach, play area, boat rentals, tennis, fitness, restaurants galore. The staff were friendly. Housekeeping was amazing.
I'm coming back!

I can't believe you allow this kind of trash right in front of your hotel, and I'm sure it is from some of the guest you have, this doesn't make a good impression of the place, so disgusting. And if it's not your task to maintain that place clean, at least you should do something about it, because it makes a bad impression for the walkers near your property, and it's extremely bad for the environment. If this is a touristic place having cigarettes residuals throw all over the bench. The hotel looks so nice inside, but you should take care of your outside.

I have been to this resort many times over the last 20 years and it was lovely.
