I really dig this hotel, and thought the reviews should be higher. I got a great rate on this hotel, and I had excellent service from the minute I walked through the door. I was given a room upgrade to a lakeside view and a balcony, and it was a real treat. I was grateful to wake up to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Lake Tahoe. I loved the music here, and it was easy to find my room. There were cool little music touches everywhere you went.

The room was really spacious, clean, and had music on the minute you walked through the door. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean.

Free parking is always good, and the $25 a day resort fee was fair with all the hotel offered.

Excellent service and food but a bit overpriced. That price point usually involves entertainment. I am fine without the entertainment, however pricing should be adjusted downwards to reflect that.

Reasonable hotel if you can get a good rate. Easy access to everything in South Lake Tahoe, with an underground connection across the street to Harrah's. Restaurant selection in the hotel is ok, but better food can be found in town. Cabo Wabo downstairs is a highlight.

Paid a fortune for the room additional 38.50 a day for an upgrade. What a joke. The carpets were dirty. The refrigerator didn't work. The food there was pricey. 91.00 dollars for a few tacos? 26.00 for Valet. The casino is old and ragidy. Never again to the casinos . We will keep our money in California next time.

What a view!!! Stayed at timber the night before and it was beautiful but Harvey s takes the cake. We stayed on the 19th floor with an excellent view of the lake. Carol at the checkin was so kind and made me feel so welcomed and special for my birthday. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this to all my friends. I wasn t aware but Harvey s has newly remodeled rooms that are absolutely gorgeous. The king bed was super comfortable, the tv was massive and new, shower had great water pressure and everything was big and made me feel like a king. They also have a Hell s Kitchen here and tons of fun slots and table games. 5 stars, Harvey s was great.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Casino dealers and servers work hard to provide a good experience. Multiple types of rooms, some more recently updated, others more value oriented. Suites were just updated. Charging for parking is the new Casino thing... along with elevated resort fees - I guess the casino doesn t make enough money.

It was fun, and the gentleman working the floor was amazingly sweet, and funny. The difficulty entering from the rear of the building, and the smell of smoke that smacks you in the face when you enter was less enjoyable. We won and that was great, but it just felt old in comparison to other casinos

Very comfortable considering the covid restrictions in place. They're doing quite well with it.

The odd numbered suites face the lake. The lower the number the better the view.

Here is the view from 1527:

Sorry nothing like when we stayed 5 years ago. We really enjoyed it before. This time not so good. Well worn room, several problems with the room that were not remedied quickly. Unfortunately some at all. Really, really disappointed.

BEWARE! Your bargain room will not be such a bargain after they add on their mandatory Resort Fee of $26.50 which supposedly pays for internet and the workout facility. They then charge you $20 for parking! So add an extra $46.50 to whatever price you are quoted by whatever booking app you choose.
And then prepare to be disappointed. The rooms and hallways have that old musty smell to them.
All in all, a bummer of an experience...
The only silver lining was the staff. They were quite pleasant.

I do not know where y'all got 4 stars from cause I dont see it. Customer and guests are wrong just ask your valet.first we are here for our 21st wedding anniversary time share presentation .I didn't like the parking fee but accepted it and on the second day one of the valets yelled dont park there I said change the attitude he says " learn how to park" I said excuse me...you don't talk to me that way and then security comes out and now my 2 more nights at Harvey's is I cannot park there anymore. And told me to leave before I get arrested. What!!!!!!! And then I advised them that I'm a guest here and asked if that's the way they talk to their guest and they said yes and I said so what a guest has to say doesn't matter and they said nope. You should go before ya get arrested.

Worst experience in Tahoe so far.

Worst experience in Tahoe so far.
Wet towel was hanging on bathtub toilet didn't work room was not clean.
I requested to change a room because of those issues to front desk and I was told to pack everything and come down again to pick up a new key instead of just swapping a room.
All these without any apology and no recognition to a diamond member.
I booked for 5 nights but left the property and moved to hyatt regency right away since I was worried about covid.
Been cesars member for a long time but will switch to mgm or look for other options.
Oh I almost forgot this dirty elevator..

Stayed here many times. Service is always great. This time I was "upgraded" to a room that was still decorated from from circa 1942. I have stayed in some of the more updated rooms before and maybe that's why it was a shock to find that they still had that outdated of rooms. We did have a bigger room and a decent view of the lake so that was nice. The lower level rooms are the ones that are a bit more updated. If you want a more updated room stay on the lower levels or across the street at Harrah's (which is a bit pricier) On a good note though, the lady at the front desk said that they have been approved to start renovations on the more outdated rooms. The casino let me play for a couple of days without totally wiping me out. Tables were fun and slots helped me win back some of my losses. Harvey's and Harrah's are always my go to when in Tahoe.

Our room is really clean and nice. The only thing that was really frustrating was the shower. It literally took the water 1 hour to warm up and the beds are okay comfortable. I would recommend it and stay there again.

One of our favorite places to play. Hope to try out the new Hell's Kitchen next time we are up. Casino was clean and spaced out for Covid. Seemed to be missing some of the newer slot machines though. Kids had fun in the arcade as well.

4th floor had barking dogs. Wsop was in town and Harrahs and Harveys doea not care if the gamble and leave the barking dogs. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This casino is on its way out. Another casino slated to close. They will take your money it is already a ghost town.

Horrible. I booked a pet friendly room online. I walked in and less than five minutes I had smoke clinging to my clothes. The check in kiosk added $50 for a resort fee instead of the $26.50 listed on the confirmation. The registration desk takes over 15 minutes per check in. I had two couples in front of me. I stood in line for about 40 to 45 minutes. She then told me they were sold out of pet friendly rooms, but not to worry they can save me by upgrading me for an additional $79 per night. After being in the lobby for two hours, I canceled my reservation and drove home (2 hours). As far as the rooms are concerned, a nearby guest was complaining about how outdated the rooms were. The front desk replied with it s Tahoe, it s about the view not the accommodations. I think that says enough.

When my wife and I got here to harveys casino on the 3rd floor of the self parking garage we had to carry our luggage down 2 flights of stairs on the casino floor there was no ramp coming off of the parking garage I was very disappointed with the way that was set up coming from parking garage with luggage.

I was actually disappointed with Harvey's Lake Tahoe. The amoire in the room was worn and chipped. The lights over the sink in the tub area were completely out. (They replaced them after we called.) The lights over the sink in the dressing room area were dim and practically out. (They replaced them after we called.) Seems like the cleaning staff should make maintenance aware of the issue.
But several lights (at least 6) in the parking garage on the 2H level near the elevator were out making it very dark in the garage. I reported it 4 times. I reported it to the front desk, maintenance, the the Valet Parking staff, and the concereige. I was there 4 days and they did not replace them. My feeling is that Harvey's valued saving a few dollars on light bulbs instead of considering the safety of it's guests using the self park section.

I quite enjoyed having a conceiarge host just a txt away, the sports bar food was mouth watering delicious, my sad face about the rooms was that there was no coffee maker to make my own coffee.

It was ok , could use some updating in carpeting and paint. Our room must ve been behind the elevators, you could hear them going up and down all night, tough to sleep. Parking fees are separate, I ll try a new place next time I m in the area.

The check-in was express which is now done on machines. The lady who helped us was a little aggressive the nice thing was if you don't get house keeping they credit you $10 for food to your room each day you stay that you can use at the resturaunts or starbucks. The beds are very comfy. The bathroom showers could be nicer and wish the toliet had a seperate door, also wish they had fridges in the room. Overall, the rooms were clean and we had a nice stay.

It was very nice. Wish I would've stayed longer. Great service and covid mitigation protocols. Loved the bathrooms and how clean they were. Close to everything. There's a Starbucks in the hotel, but it's really expensive. Better to go to the actual store, which is just a few minutes down the road. Everything is within walking distance. Definitely would stay here again.

Harveys was located really close to everything but the inside and the rooms are outdated. The hallways were also really dark. We got the premium king with a view but we only had a partial view of the lake and a full view of the roof and parking lot). We used self check-in ($10 credit for certain restaurants/shops in the hotel for waiving housekeeping) but the interactions we had with the staff in the casino was pleasant. Room was expensive for what we paid.

Our stay was great and the employees were very kind and professional. My only complaint was the cleaning service. There was a pot stem still in the ash tray and poop smeared on the door trim in the toilet area. I know that's insanely disgusting but besides that we really enjoyed our stay and the price we paid.

Our room was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous view... the bathroom was super luxurious. The only downer which I'm assuming is due to Covid was no coffee maker or microwave! If we had known no microwave we would have brought different snacks and breakfast for the kids! And I can live without coffee...no choice but overpriced Starbucks and cinnebun.

We booked a king bed in a non smoking room, the room was huge. The bathroom was spacious the shower and tub or located in a different room than the toilet which was a plus. The only bad thing about the floor we stayed on is that there was only one ice machine which was located far away from the room. The hotel was located on the main street close to all the restaurants and shops. There is also a casino in the hotel which was fun but they allow smoking which can be overwhelming after a while.

We came down for our anniversary and made reservations to eat at Hell's kitchen which was phenomenal by the way. Our bellhop Garry gave us information on where to eat and what to do. Gretchen took excellent care of us upon our arrival. Pranga is a great addition to your company she made us feel at home. Thank you all for a wonderful trip.

Avoid! They have a hidden parking charge not shown on their website of $13. "Free" WiFi is only good for TWO devices. Hard Rock has free parking and free WiFi without restrictions. Old and shabby.

This hotel is so rundown :( luckily they're doing renovations but staying in an nonrenovated room was less than desirable. Very old furniture, lumpy bed, needs updating everywhere.
The staff was nice enough although there were cleanliness issues that were just not addressed for some reason. Trash in the hallways never got picked up for days on end and glassware near the elevators on top of the trash can all day long. Not sure why employees walking past couldn't reach down to pick up trash in the hotel.
There were also protestors, signs and a giant blown up rat outside the hotel during our stay claiming that Harvey's endangers lives and has rats. I didnt see any information about this to back up the claims but not a nice sight to see when pulling up to the hotel.
We would have liked to change rooms to something with a lake view but due to renovations no rooms with views were available.
Hopefully this place can get entirely redone to match the hype of Hells Kitchen being within the dreary casino.
