Love the renovated rooms! It s about time they invested some money into this place.

Hoping to see some renovations throughout the casino floor in the future. Definitely needs some sprucing up as over half of the casino floor looks closed down. A sushi or Chinese restaurant would be nice. Maybe a Mikunis where the old hard rock restaurant was? They added Hell s Kitchen but still kept Sage restaurant and moved it to the top floor. They also have Fridays Steak house in Harrah s. Doesn t make a lot of sense to me.

Service also could have been better. Played on a slot machine for well over two hours and no one even came by to take a drink order. I feel like if you want to play slots your better bet would be Hard Rock down the street.

Nonetheless still gave you five stars because of the renovated room. My wife loved it. Hopefully you don t stop there and keep investing as you will definitely see the return. This is beautiful Lake Tahoe and not Vegas.

I have so many bad things to say about this hotel, that I wouldn't know where to start, so Ill be to the point.
We got stinky, Dirty old rooms.
Housekeeping cleaned our rooms in evening only.
Front desk manager was full of bs excuses, and rude when we wouldn't take it.

Room was pretty dirty when I first arrived. Didn't notice it until I settled in later on in the evening. What's worse is that room service decided to skip my room because they saw me go in when they were across the hall....so I had a dirty room for the whole 2 night stay. Parking is kinda inconvenient also, having to park in the garage and walk my 3 kids outside through traffic in the lot. Probably won't stay here again.

Do not go here! The odds on the tables are all messed up and they have something going on with the cards. I ve never once gambled and only won 1 hand in an hour of playing. Stay clear of this place!

I book a premium luxury room with 2 queen bed Harvey s Lake Tahoe July 2018. They give me a room in the mountain tower it was very stinky, old and dirty plus the air condition system was making loud noise every time it was automatically turning on and off. The next morning I bring this issue to front desk attendants attention, she told I have book through a 3rd party she can t do anything it was really annoying. I have booked my room through AAA travel. I called AAA travel to let them know a gentleman from travel department pick the phone as soon as I brought the issue to his attention he told me let me transfer you to travel department and direct me to AAA road services. I felt so sad. Thought they just steal your money and don t care about customer.
Poor customer service. Poor quality rooms Mountain Tower. Never will go to this hotel Again!

Now charging for parking and bumping it up when they have concerts. Cocktail waitresses are few and far between at slots, concentrating on table games. Slot machines are deceptive in that they say they are penny machines but most have a minimum of 50 to 80 cents per play hiding under the number of "lines" you must play. Older machines allowing less of a bet are being replaced. 19 kitchen, the restaurant on the 19th floor is very expensive and opens late at 430 so the view is limited to late afternoon when the sun is setting and in your eyes. This used to be our favorite casino in Tahoe but is not what it used to be.

Honestly, the hotel was just looking and feeling old. Not particularly impressed by anything either, Harvey's definitely has a need for improvements. It was convenient that the hotel was right next to the ampitheater, so getting to and from the Robert Plant concert was quite easy, however, this alone does not make up for the overall disappointing feeling that I had walking away from my weekend stay.

I would love for this review to be a 5 star. Except the last time I stayed, they wouldn't offer me and my friend late checkout on a Monday despite how desperately we needed it... Not to mention we had been almost 5-6x in one year and spent thousands of dollars with them.. Yikes!

Carpet was torn as soon as we entered the room. Air in the room was was so dry, it was hard to sleep. I drew a hot bath and it helped temporarily. The service was on point except two encounters but I assumed that they were still training. We were told that if we self park it would be comped by the poker tour but was not.

Rooms in the Tahoe Tower are spacious, clean and comfortable. Free parking is appreciated, as well as the easy to use kiosks for check in & out. Lots of food choices in the hotel, with a great arcade for kids. The only hiccup was that when replacement supplies were ordered (towels, etc..) through their texting service, nothing was ever delivered. Other than that, we would come back!

Just finished playing across the street at Harrah's, headed over to Harvey's, which is also a Harrah's casino. Dealer checked my ID, who then handed it off to the pit boss. This is all while holding up the entire blackjack table up for 5 minutes. No cards dealt because of an ID check. I keep telling the dealer to go ahead without me but no, he had to wait. I finally say nevermind, I'll gamble elsewhere. Pit boss refuses to give back my ID per policy. He then hands it off to security, who looks it over for 5 minutes, says it looks fine, but has to have another guard take a look. Takes another 5 for a guard to come over. He takes a look for 10 seconds, says it's good, says not sure what the pit boss was thinking. Floor manager does not care about customer service, is fine with the poor customer service.

Pit boss holds ID hostage. Refuses to give it back. Security guard finds nothing wrong with ID, looks good.

Out of state customers beware! New policy that requires all out of state IDs to be checked. Takes 20 minutes.

Do not gamble here.

Reno is not gambler friendly.

Everyone here was so friendly! I came with some friends to eat at the Sage Room and the staff was very pleasant. The people we interacted with in the casino were all very nice as well and easy to talk to.

We got a Luxury Nonsmoking King Room in the new tower, I m pretty sure it was Room 1604! The view was breathtaking of the Lake and the Snowcap Mountain Tops!! Very spacious! A separate Toilet room from the Shower was perfect! Not to mention Starbucks in the Lobby for morning coffees was convenient before heading out for the day! The location of Harvey s was perfect- walking distance to everything!

Love our visit here, views are amazing! The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is so beautiful. It s very large and a lot to do. Not so much as winning in the casino though but great stay! 10 stars! Very clean! Unfortunately no fridge or microwave so you have to spend $50 a meal on dining out.

Nice updated hotel in the South shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Plenty of places to eat and just a few blocks to walk down to the lake for sunsets. Friendly staff and hotel is taking Covid 19 cautions.Tables don't open till 4 PM Monday through Friday. Complimentary drinks while gaming. Just across the street is Harris Casino which is also owned by Ceasers Entertainment. No live music at this time because of Covid. Plenty of free parking. Great steak house on the 19th floor.just make reservations.they close at 9.last seating 8 30.I love getting a room and enjoying the lake view.

Harvey's was the best place in town until they took everything away from their loyal customers
$20 for parking per day, very few comps, no freebies for loyalty anymore

They do have a year round heated pool outside and a hot tub which is very nice in the snow, their steam room is really good and hot, they have a sauna as well as a nice gym

The restaurant situation is up n the air, hard rock closed, cabo wabo closed so its only straw hat left at this point which doesn't just have pizza they serve breakfast lunch and dinner and even have a great bar (great bartenders) several huge TVS to watch multiple sports games at a time.
Food here is better than you would think of a pizza place and they have several draft beers and shot specials.

The CONCERTS are the best! Closest you will get to any stage for cheap seats and for not much more u can get close to front!

Great country concerts, weve seen Eric church (2xs) - Kieth urban (3xs) - Kenny Chesney (2xs) - Luke Bryan - Chris Stapleton - Kelsea Ballerini

Lenny Kravitz-Jack Johnson- slightly stupid- the who - sammy haggar - lots more!

19th floor kitchen and lounge is really nice and has the best view of the sunset, the food is awesome
Sage room is 1 of the best fine dining places in Tahoe.

Ir seems like a really good spot. Kinda pricey minimums for the table games but honestly it's a neat place with a good atmosphere. Lots of local food joints in the area as well so you atleast won't go hungry spending all your money to feed the addiction

My favorite South Lake Tahoe resort casino! This is all good; from the views, the facilities, the staff, and rewards program. Thanks also, for your recognition of Military Service Members...I appreciate it!

I stayed there for two nights. Was not aware that coffee makers were not in rooms . I am a normally normally up by 5 a.m. Room service is not available till 6 a.m. Headed out to do things returned to room about 1:00 pm. Called room service to get a coffee maker for the next day and was told room service is closed.
I was not a fan of the express check in had to get in two different lines. Room was clean employees were friendly. Casino floor was not very clean.

Can't believe they charge for parking now. They started it and now the others have started to follow. Just another way of making people part with their money. This town is becoming a joke. It's better to stop at Red Hawk than continue up the mountain.

Such a mix feelings. I wish I could give it 5 stars. Room was nice and updated with a great view. The wall must be thin. We could hear headboard banging for the entire night... 1 star off because I requested another set of bathroom supplies since housekeeping isn t provide because of covid. It never came the night we asked. We asked again the morning of checking out because we ran out of stuff to use. Frankie , the check in staff was friendly. Parking is free right now so that s a nice.

This hotel casino is awesome. The casino is really big and has a lot of new machines which I love. The room was small but nice and had a nice view of the city and a small portion of the lake. The best part of our stay was eating at the steakhouse. I'm not a big fan of fancy restaurants but the service was 5 stars and Teddy was probably the best waiter we've ever had. He made our stay and my Moms birthday so great. Will definitely stay there again ^^

It wasn't very good, but not the most horrible. Most staff were nice, but my friends booked 2 rooms & drama ensued. A few times the keys didn't work so we had to get new ones, that was fine. However, the 3rd night, I went to grab a new key after mine didn't work again & was told my name wasn't on the room so I'd be escorted off the property unless I could get the room reserver (a long preferred member) to allow me up there. Fine, I called and was told to come up on speaker phone to grab a key. My issue is... why was I automatically told I'd be escorted off the property with a smile on the front desk woman's face when she could've offered me a new room? I hadn't caused any disturbance, didn't damage anything & was told on the phone right in front her that I was able to have a key, yet she threatened to escort me away. It's one thing if she just didn't want me in the room that was already paid for, but why not offer me to buy a new one if she didn't want me with the preferred member? I ended up getting a key from the reserver and sleeping in the room, but wouldn't it be better if she not only had good customer service or at least sort of nice and offered me a new room instead of threatening me off the property? I've worked in so many customer service jobs, including hospitality, so I was just be

I stayed here in July 2020 and when I first arrived the outside is very run down weeds growing around the building. I still wanted to go in and see and we needed to check in at the kiosks no temps were taken upon arrival and everyone is touching these screens to check in instead of a person taking your name. I was immediately off put by this also the parking was very far from where you checked in and I m handicapped. I still continued unfortunately to our room and it was a reminder of the outside very outdated. I called hard rock down the street to reserve a room because I was so upset with this. This trip was for my girlfriend and I and it was supposed to be special which it was when I left to go to hard rock hotel. At least they refunded me. Harvey s could learn a thing or two from the hard rock.

I chose Harvey s over Harrah s for accommodations, because I wanted the lake view and heard it was spectacular. I was able to upgrade, but the view was obstructed and mostly if Lake Tahoe Blvd. The room was extremely outdated, and furniture and fixtures were worn. Otherwise, the dealers, servers and bartenders were very friendly in the casino. There were quite a lot of unexpected fees though, which threw me off.

Very disappointing. Reserved a room on line with a king bed and even upgraded for our 31st anniversary.
Upon our arrival at about 7 pm was treated like a number there was no feeling from the hotel staff like they were pleased to have you as a guest almost as if you were a bothersome, we literally felt like cattle.
When we got to our room it was wrong with 2 queen beds. Called and was given another room which took some effort. After being moved and getting settled in found the TV did not work. Called and was told someone would be up to fix it. We left to go eat and play. Upon our return found TV not fixed but someone was in our room because the TV was off. Called and was moved a 3rd time. Jennifer, our person of contact, told us sorry for the inconvenience and said that she was going to comp our room for the two days that we would be staying there.
When we checked out we were billed. When we asked we were told that it would be credited back to us that it just takes time to process.
We waited called and talked to Jennifer she looked into it and said "wow, you're right it hasn't been credited" and said that she would email us and that we would get a credit by the next day.
We never did get the email for the credit and when we make contact with her again she said oh what I meant was to credit you the resort fee only which comes to about $9.
We never expected to get any comp when we complained this was initiated by Jennifer which was a good gesture but if you're going to say something you better do it we will never return.

My expectations were not that high to begin with, but for $300+/night I was expecting something better than a dungy motel room... I don't see how this is a 4 star hotel.

It looks old and outdated. Everything smells like cigarette smoke. The room's lighting was extremely dim. The TV is tiny and the remote barely worked. No coffee maker or mini fridge. The bathroom had stains on the ceilings and walls. There's no fan in the bathroom so no ventilation and we saw some mold. Our bed sheets and pillow had stains so we had to request new ones. The walls are really thin so you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. There were people talking and yelling in the hallway all night and loud music playing until 2am which gave us a terrible night's sleep.

I wish I had taken pictures to prevent others from making the same mistake of staying here. The photos online are extremely deceiving. The only good things were the free parking and proximity to Heavenly.

Very disappointing, came for my wedding anniversary and a Wyndham vacations presentation. I was not made to feel a valued customer from moment one. Parking fees per day. Not being resort frequenters we were not familiar with all the fees involved. When trying to get an explanation as to why we are charged a full day of fees when we couldn t get to our room till 4, I was made to feel a bother. My husband was treated unfairly also. We were then told even tho we were a guest we couldn t park on property.....seriously . Rude employees and not customer friendly.
