Great casino, but unfortunately right now there aren't many ways to get a drink brought to you on the gaming floor. Food options are rather limited too. Hopefully it's a covid related issue and it will go away with time. What I didn't like at all was calling 3 times for new towels, never getting them, then going to the front desk and requesting some, and never getting them. We had to steal some off a housekeeping cart. That by itself was why Harveys lost an extra star.

To start out, pricing is fair for the experience and view. The hotel has different towers and fine dining restaurants to choose from such as a Hell's Kitchen Restaurant and a fantastic steak house. Be sure to book reservations in advance since all restaurants in the area are enforcing COVID properly. Anticipate 1 hour waits or completely full bookings if you have no reservations- for all meals of the day.

Parking is free for all guests which I am a big believer in when staying at hotels. Do anticipate a $25 resort fee though. This is a typical charge.

The casino is huge! They have literally everything, and if that's not enough, there is an indoor bridge that connects to the Harrah's next door.

I stayed in the newly renovated room which had a very large shower but no tub. Compare this to the not yet renovated room which will have a smaller shower/tub combination.

So many let down's with this hotel experience. To save time, I'll just mention the biggest let downs for us. First, I booked a 'mountain view' room and got a view of a wall/roof top. Second, I called prior to booking and was told the 'family pool' was open, but it wasn't (although the family pool at Harrah's was open and we were given access to use). Third, at 8 PM at night, the alarm inside our room starts blaring ... this is an emergency - leave your room immediately - head to the nearest exit - do not take the elevator. We rush up out of our room, down the stairs and into the cold. We stand outside waiting. Finally after several minutes we go inside to see what is going on only to be told it was a false alarm and they are checking the security cameras to find out 'which kid pulled the fire alarm'. I'm 8 months pregnant and was in the shower when this happened + I have two little kids (3 + 4 years old) who were crying and so scared. No apology and No crisis response team.

Very nice staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The views of the lake are amazing. Only complaint is the guy who works at the sportsbook every day is very rude. But the fact that a sportsbook is there is great (unlike unaccomodating Harrahs). If you're going to stay at a casino in South Lake Tahoe then stay at Harveys.

Our room was very dusty throughout. I wrote my name on the wall the dust was so thick. Then seen more finger prints on the side, so I didn't feel so bad writing on the dusty wall. Shower fixture not connected to shower wall. Towel rack kept falling off, the first time it fell, the fixture landed on my foot.

I had a one night stay. As soon as I settled to go to bed. I started to hear a dog barking from the room next door. If I could guess I would say the owners of the dog left it there and went out to enjoy the Tahoe festivities. I called the front desk who patched me over to security and was told they'd get right on it. They never came and the dog made the whole night a terrible experience. I'm usually pretty tolerable to most situations but that was down right miserable. Bad Harvey's Bad

Front desk gave us an upgrade when we got there. We got a corner room on the 19th floor overlooking the lake. It was amazing; the view, the staff, all of it. Free self parking, lots of good games on the casino floor too. Most of the restaurants were closed but still a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Planned on staying a week, checked out after the first night. I can't speak for the regular rooms but if you're travelling with pets, spend more money and stay somewhere else. They punish you for bringing dogs (well behaved or not) by confining you to an unrenovated floor that smells of pee and cigarettes as soon as you get off the smoke-smelling elevator. Even in the rooms, though they smelled a bit better, hair from housekeeping on the sheets, towels and somehow on the ceiling. The wallpaper was peeling in places, curtains smelled faintly of urine, etc. I expected some dogs to bark but the walls were thin, we heard kids crying as if they were in our room with us, dogs barking because fellow guests would let the doors to their rooms slam closed. The beds were hard and you could heard all the springs in it creaking just by sitting on the edge, pillows we're flat. Just an awful experience...all I can say is that the stay was just not worth the aggravation or money.

I cannot describe how fun it is whenever we go here! I love going to the Harrah's pool, my kids love the arcade, Cinnabon is great, and there is always a nice view out of the window in the hotel room.

Tried to get some coin change for the summer concert event. We were a food truck working the event. Cage manager told me they didn't supply vendor change needs. I'm sorry. I did spend personal money in the casino too. She was so rude.

More like a 2.5 star hotel. Outdated rooms that smell like cigars. No fridge in room, or microwave. Hard beds. Arcade was nice for kids, nice shops too, friendly service. But no room service, even though it said they do.
