This used to be my go to casino/hotel when driving up to Stateline. On our recent stay, even allowing for Covid-19, the place is more like a Motel 6. I requested extra pillows due to a medical condition and they told me I could only have 2. I'm a hotel GM, I've never heard of a 4 star hotel limiting guest pillows. Then the bathroom vent left the water closet flooded and a short in the bathroom light. We asked for the hallway outside our room to be vacuumed because it was filthy and that never occurred. The place has lost its charm. For the rate there are so many better places.

Played at the arcade with the kids. It was actually pretty fun. There are plenty of games and the staff was super nice and friendly

I'm sure most people have a positive experience with Caesars Palace properties. However, mine so far regarding Harveys Casino Lake Taho has not.
1.) I joined Caesars rewards to enjoy the benefit of not having to pay for my room until we arrive in August, it's mid March now. Right away my account was charged $260.00 dollars...this is with a military discount...WOW! Covid has caused financial problems for me and my wife this last year and $260.00 dollars taken unexpectedly from our account was not good for us.
2.) I called and spoke to a representative, her explanation of why my account was charged after becoming a member just added to my frustration. In addition, per the Caesars representative mine and my wife's account was overcharged $17.00 which still has not been refunded.
3.) I've called and talked to 3 different Caesars representatives to this point asking for a confirmation to be sent to my email, this still has yet to be addressed. Yet Caesars was all over taking my money right away!
4.) Why don't I cancel my reservations? Because my wife and I want to stay at the casino where Hells Kitchen is. I'm regretting our choice at this point. If I do not hear back from Caesars to address these issues in a timely manner my wife and I will be staying in Lake Taho at another casino/hotel. Thank you...Sean.

We go there yearly for a weeklong CA Rural Water Assn. Conference. Nice place, good service, gaming is usually pretty good to us, etc, but we are always happy to come home!

Room not so nice and smelled like smoke was a non smoking room :/ I asked for a deluxe king and it was not upgraded there was no mini fridge in the room due to covid which didn t make sense at all :/ I have a child and we had packed snacks and drinks that were left to be warm the whole time instead of cold .asked for a upgrade and they couldn t give me one due to it being sold out hallways were disgusting Bed Was Rock hard shower barely worked all and all bad experience will not be staying again !!!!

Not a bad place. Nice enough casino. Good drinks. Tables are a little high priced for the average joe. But try and find the electronic 5 player blackjack machines or electronic 5 player roulette machines. A lot of fun.

Harveys might not be the fanciest casino in Tahoe, but we had a blast here. Friendly dealers and attentive waitresses!

Good place to hang out at night after a day of outdoor activities.

Free parking in the garage, which was nice. We had a standard room in the original tower, and found it fairly nice except it was missing some amenities that would have been helpful: in room safe, frig, microwave.

Our dealer was hilarious and really showed us a good time at the black jack tables.

Great arcade with lots of places to eat, Highly recommend if you have kids,

Beautiful views, a little expensive and if there's an attraction in town, big muisic band, car show etc.. it's alot more expensive.. That's for all hotels in the area 3 times to the price.

The bathroom and other areas were in need of renovation, repairs, and updates. The staff was friendly and there were a diverse group of games. 200 tickets for one Push Pop. 5000 tickets for a Monopoly board game.

Stayed at Harvey's on 6/30. Started off very poorly. As I coming in Harvey's I happened to hit their speed bump pretty hard. My fault it was pretty late and I didn't see it. What bothered me was after seeing my Idaho plates the Valet guy yells out "Way to go Idaho" . It was loud enough to hear through my closed windows in my car. I get it the jab but it was very unprofessional. The valet came over to me after I parked my car to go inside and was very arrogant and cocky. I spoke with a manager at that time that seemed receptive to my complaints but felt she was just there to appease me. I decided to go ahead inside and get a room anyways. The lady at the front desk, who I think was named Jean, was very pleasant and helpful. After registering me for the evening I felt she turned around a poor experience that I got in the valet. The room was nice a little dated and some of the wall paper was peeling. I don't understand why they just don't glue it back on. There was no coffee in the room but everything else was there and worked. My biggest complaint is why do businesses continue to charge resort fees ($28.50)when they are not optional. Just put it in the price. The last thing is there was a parking fee to go to Harvey's ($13). Maybe they done' realize that I could give an extra $13 as a tip to one of their employees.

One star for nice room but due to covid no microvave no fridge no coffee maker no extra roll away bed no breakfast but casino is open and yeh you pull your bags up to your room by your self on a trolley and no valet parking,

Check in was through a qiosk which was a little different to me. A little difficult to navigate through the building. Quietest and smallest casino I have ever been to on a Thursday night. Our room was clean but a tad bit dated. Probably 10-15 years or older. No fridge in our room for a room that sounded like it would have everything. The room was quiet and I had decent sleep.

Had a great time on the slots. Got a decent win right after getting a player card. Drinks are good too.

It is dirty, the staff are not competent, it is poorly lit, the decor is from the 1980's, the restaurants inside the resort are worse than Denny's, the pool has this sewer like film and muck on top of the water and the pool floor was coming up. Do not stay here, spend your money elsewhere

Love the lake view rooms. Shakey pizza sports bar inside nice touch. I have good luck on multiple hand video poker over the years.

No glass or plastic cups in rooms. Had to request extra towels and blankets. Covid-19 is making things difficult for ski tourist

I love their staff; accommodating with anything I needed.

It's a fantastic getaway, with so much to see and do. Can't wait to come back again.

Felt like I had walked back in time, just felt old inside but in cool way.

So we booked a room for two days and everything was fine up until we went to a our room to find that theirs a loud noise . We called the front desk to see what the noise was and they said that since our room is close to the elevator is what s causing it. To help us they offered the same room but two rooms down. We grabbed all our thing and went to find out the room was smaller and had the same noise, you see I like to relaxe and hear nothing when I rent a room on vacation. We decide to go back to the first room just because it was bigger, they weren t any help in resolving the issue because of this I won t be coming here ever again! Huge disappointment!

Great place to stay. Except they charge for parking now. Self & Valet.

Honestly, I have stayed in nicer rooms than Harveys Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, but none of the places has a casino, shows, or even half of the other thangs available at Harveys. The food is great, the staff attentive, and the location is beautiful.

I did not know that the hotel charged 18 dollars for valet or 10 dollars for parking your own car, I only stayed one night and left, they should tell you this when you book. I will not go back to this hotel ever.

Dave the dealer is a cheater and should be investigated

I had a terrible experience at the poker room here. I was on my baby moon (baby shower vacation) and we decided to go to the poker room so that I can play some poker and get our vacation money back. I have been playing poker for 12 years now and been on fire as of late. None the less I was cheated by the dealer David older white male dealer that paid off my pot to an Asian male that did not beat my hand. I was at around $900 in chips after starting with $200, after sending a few people home I was involved in my biggest hand of the night. With 68 in my hand I made a straight. The problem is that Dave instead of looking at my hand and counting it for the win, decided to throw it away and pay someone else with a worst hand. This cost me $120 dollars and I was so upset I could no longer play. I had them check the cameras and they fed me the terrible news that they couldn t see anything. Dave the dealer there is a cheater please be careful when playing poker at this casino the staff is shady and probably playing against you.

Great overall experience. The staff were on point and everyone was very friendly.

Man there worms are great you couldn't ask for more you know Tahoes kind of change their ski shuttle I just drive to the California side and go in the California Lodge to go to Heavenly but it's still close to the gandola if you want to hike through there with your skis I'm a weekday skier couldn't beat the price of the rooms had a great time at the casino drinks were fresh love it

I thought this place was just ok. Place was clean but dimly lit and not very exciting. Don't think I'll be coming back here.

Tried to book a room by phone. I grew impatient with the automated system and went elsewhere.

Used to be better the fact you have to pay for parking is a bit of a joke

Had fun at the Casino and they have awesome burgers too. New machines and they do pay very well. Came home with $245. Thank You Harvey's, it pays for the gas and food and a few extra bucks in the pocket

No coffee makers in the room. We were there for 3 days and Staff was consistently "put off" whenever we had questions. Floor staff in the casino were more helpful than concierge or Lobby staff. We called front desk our 2nd night and the phone rang for 10 mins unanswered. We just made a game out of the wait time. Gambling was good, nice variety of games. But due to the lack of service we would have liked to cut our trip short and move to another casino, due to having reservations we could not.

It's like "mini vegas". It's okay, not amazing, not bad.

A nice hotel and casino a short walking distance from a wide variety of locations.

Greeted by a filthy unprepared room. Dirty everywhere you look. Ice machines do not work. Charge hotel guests for parking. Elevator's are slow and extremely small. Would not ever recommend to anyone unless I didn't like them.

Not thrilled. For over $300 for a suite , it was nothing to write home about. The room was decent in size, but it was apparently in the old side of the building and was super dated. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Enjoyed the comedy show at the Improv though.

Employees are not knowledgeable about pretty much anything especially about the new paid parking. Terrible experience and nobody could validate my parking.

Mellow Casino during week, busy weekends. Use players card for points off food. Pizza place by caahier is very good, veggie pizza excellent, 4 stars.

Had a great time, all levels of staff are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Staff at the Straw hat pizza and sports bar were absolutely great.

Given a pet friendly room. Waited till 9pm to get into our reservation room. Dogs barking.
When I called front desk they said we weren't on a pet floor. Then said "well you are 2 doors away from a dog. Bathroom was nice and clean, carpet in the room was ripped. Looked like a dog was digging around the door & tore carpet. Door to our room would not close properly.
Staff were pleasent, refunded resort fee. Not enough to compensate in our opinion. Checked out and went to the Hard Rock, and was Great!

I liked our stay here. Great location right by the lake.

Won $146 on the penny slots, all that was cool. Saw a comedy show at the improv, pretty nice venue. I know they are trying with their ventilation system, but it's still more smoky than I like.

Played at in the casino for 3 hours and had a great time. Each dealer was helpful and informative.

Clean basic affordable room. Great water pressure - fastest shower I've ever taken. Neither vending machine nor ice machine worked during my stay. That was aggravating. Nice view of snow covered mountains from my room.

We had a great time, our double Queen room was very nice, excellent spa workout room and outdoor pool area!

Room was great, gambling could be better. Pretty stingy. We had a dinner celebration certificate. So we ate at the restaurant on the 19th floor. YUM! My husband had the Kobe pork chop and I had a wonderfully fresh Ceasar's salad and seafood crepes with hollandaise sauce on the side. Oh my, ambrosia. Would order it again.
One thing Harvey's and Harrah's need are more restaurant's. The Hard Rock Cafe has been closed for quite some time now leaving a huge empty space where another restaurant could open up. Hard Rock had some delicious food.
Harvey's now have dual pianos stationed in the Heavenly Bar. The music is played well, singing is great, and it just adds a nice ambiance to the casino. We enjoyed listening and singing along. FUN!
All in all, a fun, relaxing few days

People are very racist here. I went to the club inside the hotel and me and my friends were treated very poorly. Just because my skin is brown i was stared at a lot and staff were very unfriendly. I would not reccomend this place, i expected better coming from someone in the military.

I went to the arcade in Harvey's and was quickly turned off by all the smoke in the air. Being so closely attached to the casino means all the cigarette smoke is just getting trapped in the arcade which gives all the kids second hand smoke. Harvey's is the best casino in town so I wish they would start updating things other than the gambling machines.

Outdated casino. Elevators need to be clean up, stains all over the buttons and mirrors. We got a room with Mountain View... more like parking lot view! Room can do a little bit better. Stains all over the curtains. Very loud at night (we heard the club music from 10pm-2am) you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway. 2/5. Not staying here again.
