This place is definitely out dated and a bit run down. The rooms and the casino how ever are very clean and the fexters are still beautiful for being as old as they are. The casino is musti though. The rooms are very reasonably priced for what it's worth so spending a weekend here isn't bad. We enjoyed our stay.
Great!!! Wonderful hotel, huge room, huge bathroom, special service. It has a casino, game land, restaurants and even Hells Kitchen, by renowned chef Gordon. Wonderful
Room was nice, had a great view on the California facing side. Pool was nice and heated for our winter visit.
Over priced filthy rooms. I did not receive rooms reserved and had to go get room keys remade due to not working.

Wife and I spent a couple hours here to drink and gamble. This place has a lot more slots machines than hardrock or Mont Bleu. Didn't have any food and the experience was decent but the atmosphere is stale compared to the hard rock and Mont Bleu. Saturday is the best time to come here.
Very nice bedrooms. Surrounded by great restaurants and attractions. The tunnel to Harrah's across the street is very convenient. Kinda disappointed that there doesn't seem to be free secure WiFi. Room service is a bit pricey. Overall, would stay again, but not before looking into alternatives.
Dated, dirty rooms. Way over priced for what we got for the money. Parking garage was very disgusting and did not feel safe with graffiti all over. Very disappointing.

Basically a casino. Watched the Belmont Stakes at a Sport Bar here. Placed wagers on the horse race at Harveys.
Good place to stay on somewhat of a budget. Not good if allergic to cigarette smoke as possibly worst air circulation system ever. Good restaurants. Really dated facility, but new fitness center. Probably won't stay here again for what we paid.

Nice hotel. Furniture is a little dated, but my view of the lake was extra cool. 16th floor.
The rooms are nice, and I enjoyed the huge bathrooms. The rest of the hotel...kind of sucks. It looks old and kind of beat up, the elevators are nasty, and everything smells like smoke from the casino (which you have to walk through to get between the parking garage and the hotel). To be clear, the rooms did not smell like smoke though. I wouldn't stay here again.

Exceptional service! Had guacamole made in front of me and my girl right on the bar at TaCo in harveys. Everything was outstanding. Don't miss.
Harvey's is an ideal location in South Lake Tahoe, the hotel itself though is a bit on the older side. You can see some wear and tear in the rooms. And of course, just like other casino hotels, you have to go through the casino to get anywhere, which means you're going to come out the other end smelling like smoke.
I had a really great relaxing stay. My 1st time to TAHOE. View of the lake was nice. They comped us a buffet across the street at HARRAHS. OH YEA! Free drinks in the casino and free pizza in the poker room aT 11:00pm.
Attended a Ball here, as well rented a room. Place is nice and big with a beautiful view towards lake Tahoe. I has a casino in the floor level as well.
The rooms are the most basic of any hotel room I have ever stayed in. It s a square room with with a bathroom and nothing else. There is no chair no fridge nowhere to charge phone tablet or laptop. It s daylight robbery to charge the rates they do because I could have booked a Motel 6 and be satisfied. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. Read reviews before booking. My birthday celebration was ruined. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place, you want to stay in a place that brings it out. This place is not it!!
Was there on Christmas evening, the hotel is not clean. When I enter the room toilet flush was not working. I end up calling Room service. Not a good experience
One of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed on with the best bathroom by far. But that is overshadowed by the lack of restaurants that are way overpriced. $65 for a steak is unbelievable, and cost more than our room did.

Love the sports book! The rest of Harvey's still has that familiar smell i used to know...some things have changed...in my opinion not enough though...kinda stale/stagnant if u will.
And fyi....if u get into an altercation with a whale at harveys...because ur defending...oh lets say a lady...the whale will win....because harveys values money above all else. People count Harvey....

My husband and I decided to spend a night in South Tahoe as a mini vacation. The front desk told us we were getting a deluxe room. After all was said and done, the room for one night was over $500. We thought for that price, it would be a luxury room with amenities. Upon entering the room, the light bulb was almost dead and flickering, like some kind of horror movie, and it smelled stagnant. The room was tiny, smelled bad, and hasn't been upgraded in years and years. The walls are extremely thin and we could hear everything from the surrounding rooms, including talking. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard as a rock. The elevators are old and rickety and I legitimately feared we would fall or get stuck. The casino itself has very poor ventilation and the stench of cigarette smoke was awful. I can't believe we spent over $500 to stay in something worse than a seedy motel.
This hotel is old and dirty, does not offer common amenities like other properties without additional fees, and the daily cleaning services do not equate to much (no sheets changed unless asked, no new towels or wash cloths...and removed the dirty ones. Charges a daily resort fee, um ok....what does that cover?
First time staying here and really have nothing to complain friendly front desk and staff, valet guys are awesome, the view of my room is nice, nothing spectacular, slots are great the fact that this hotel is in the center of shopping center and lots of resto area and connected with Harrah's, is what's make this trip more pleasant, so thank you Caesar Entertainment, as a Diamond members I'm happy received all of the comps

One star because this place sucks. Rooms and furniture look like they are from the 90's. The rooms smell 'old'. You now have to pay to park. There is now is a something called a "resort package" that you have to pay for If you want wifi. I will never be staying her again.
Good place to eat the pizza is good the pasta as well everything very good very friendly the waiters recommend it
The sports bar has a deal for a shot and beer $5. Casino is standard fun
Didn't get to spend too much time here. Parking easy. Rooms clean and fancier than expected. Check in and employees were easy, nice, helpful ect. It's covid season, not much was open...but it all looked like more fun than 'REI snowboard IPA fair trade Fresh Pow Pow' one block south in california.
Fun casino!!! Never come to gamble, just party!!... It's S. Lake Tahoe not Vegas, if you want to spend money rent a house boat and see the lake.
In general the hotel and casino are very nice and nice view of the lake.

No refrigerator or complementary coffee in rooms. The inside of the hotel is out of date and kinda weathered. The one and only thing they have going for them is the supper friendly and helpful staff!!! And kinda stingy with WiFi
They're doing everything they can to make your stay comfortable during these times. All facilities are open for tour use. Always a great time.
Very confusing layout but like many casinos this one has a lot of restaurants in it and a lot to do even in the covid-19 pandemic.

Hand sanitizer stations were very scarce. It was also very difficult to get food reservations anywhere in the area so I would recommend to plan far a head of schedule. Tahoe is not a fly by the seat of your pants place right now.
Don t ever pay $25 to park in their parking structure the worst experience ever you can get in but you can t get out I can t believe that a casino like Harvey s would charge $25 for concert paying ticket holders I will never stay here again
The rooms are really nice and comfortable but the costumer service on the tables are the worst if you're not from the town. They are horribly rude with you
The room size is generous but this resort is in need of some major updating.
We had a bad experience in the beginning at the Tahoe Tower. There was a few horrible problems with the room and construction that woke us up at 7am. Gabby the hotel supervisor made everything right with us and was very helpful. I give HER 5 stars! Our room did have a gorgeous view.
Hotel stuffs asked me to wait since 4 pm to 6.30 pm to get my room key. They said the room was not ready and they stole my money. It charged me 30% more for no reason after I checked out. During my staying the cleaning services ironing sheets in front of my room with with loud conversation between the.. i tried ro remind the. Twice but the lady was rude. She left me without say anything n treated me like I was bothered her. DO NOT STAY HERE. They have nothing to offer unless a bad vacation experience
Brace yourself for 1star type service. Nice room, but toilet was unflushed and service was awful from the start! Registration took over 20 minutes! Be prepared to pay extra for parking too! (Even with your stay, you are charged to park). I walked into the hotel with my two young children, while two employees stood right there and ignored the opportunity to open the door for me (which I might expect from a motel 6, but I had higher expectations).
Every other hotel I've stayed at for the past 20 years has offered clear and helpful instruction on available resources (wifi, elevator, pool, etc) but such was not the case. I was simply handed the key with my room # written on the key envelope. I had to ask for directions to my room and elevator and his instructions were elementary at best!
I won't ever stay here again.
Check in and check out was easy, but the room had a constant buzzing sound and was a bit dated.
Beautiful place, the casino floor is wide open and bustling with colors, lights, sounds, enticing you to try every kind of machine they have, they have a large row of card tables, friendly staff, the waitresses made their rounds, the restaurants are great, I've yet to try the accommodations, save that for a later review, but I will admit, the Cinnabon down stairs was the best Cinnabon I've visited in a long time, surprised to find it in a resort. Can't wait to visit again. One day just wasn't enough to experience all Harvey's had to offer.
Worst casino experience, I ended up winning $200 on blackjack but I have never met a group of dealers so hostile towards the players. Never coming back
im not to thrilled I got a room for a weekend for my wife and I. we got stuck next to someone who had a little dog now I'm not mad about that but the fact that there is a floor for animal lovers and that floor was closed so they put the peopke with animals wherever a room was avaible was not the best idea that dog BARKED ALL NIGHT LONG THEN ALLL MORNING. REALLY?!?! WHEN WE TOLD THE FRONT DESK THEY PROMISED A FREE WEEKEND AND WE STILL HAVE NOT GOT IT. BAD GUEST SERVICE AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Always stay here at Harvey's. Great views, walking distance to everything, fun casino, delicious food, and great employees (mostly). These views from some rooms...epic! I'll be back soon.

We stayed at Harvey's October 19-20. it was a horrible experience. Our room was a so called deluxe room but the wallpaper was pealing off the walls. The room was dirty and outdated. They tried to hide the filth by keeping the room dark. There was mold in the windows and vents. The bedding was so thin that we were cold both nights. They only had one plug to change your phone it was from an extension cord that came from under the bed. The elevators didn't seem to all be working. The walls were paper thin so we didn't get much sleep. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I miss the days of concerts there! Harvey's is and always has been a great place.
