The experience was amazing. High class food and standards. The vibe is posh. Mild song. Hukka is also available( I didn't get the Hukka as I don't smoke,i cant say it's review). The tent architecture is fabulous. Food selection is superb. Must try the pasta and chicken which is being made freshly. Shawarma and steak, French fries . Sweets are another amazing part. Overall world class

The internet is slow and you can t have have a great view because the window is not clean. The location of the hotel is far from the downtown city. Also, I booked a luxury room but it feels like a normal room with no difference except the bath tub.

The Japanese restaurant sushi is mediocre (which is good by comparison to this part of the world). The Italian restaurant has a nice bufala anti pasto but the bufala isn't anything as good as the real Italian stuff from Sorrento. The Mexican restaurant does fantastic fresh fried Tortilla chips with a pasty (consistency, I.E. not chunky) but very tasty salsa and fantastic fresh guacamole made right at your table.

The Cigar lounge is where it's at if you like scotch and a stick but if you care to break with tradition the cocktails here are the best you can get. Just ask for Harry the bar tender. They don't stock good bourbon here so you'll have to go elsewhere if you haven't converted yet.

Sherlock's pub (themed after its namesake) has a nice dark-wood, English pub feel with darts, sports playing on large TV sets and pool (not snooker) tables. They do a decent Guiness and lovers of pipes, cigars, and the novels will feel right at home.

An institution in Bahrain but they ought to move ahead with the times. The place is clean and neat however very dated, especially with its restaurants and bars. Worth staying at if you need to be in the Adliya area.

Drinks /Draft beers were my favourite. Selected Bands playing in the evening. Highly recommended to all Beer lovers and couples looking for a memorable d evening in Bahrain.

Very nice hotel, if a little too big for my taste.

Rooms were very clean and the furniture seems to have been updated recently. Staff friendly if a bit slow to respond to inquiries and requests, which is a bit understandable due to the size (add to that the fact that rooms/suites can be in any one of a number of different buildings/towers. It's a small city).

Also, there are like a gazillion restaurants on premise, not to mention the few that are walking distance from the hotel.

Recommended.

It's overrated, but then again, Bahrain standards for hotels are low. Cons: small-ish pool, a little expensive, confusing parking, you have to walk a lot, very small room, too hyped, bad location. Pros: 10 Restaurants and 5 cafes, very good hospitality, convention center, executive building, shuttle bus, free parking, good gym.

I love their Japanese, Iranian & Indian restaurants. Not so much kern on the others. On my opinion, they have one of the best Indian restaurants anywhere. Excellent food, excellent service, pleasant people.

Had been to Sato Japanese Restaurant in Gulf Hotel. Loved the Sushi. The quantity is fair and price is resonable. The staff is friendly. The short table dining is very interesting.

Second Recent stay review

Had booked a Bedroom Apartment. The check in was like a breeze. No hassle at all.
The room was spacious with all basic kichen amenities. The living room had a comfortable Sofa and a TV. The bath room was fitted with a bath tub.
Had lavish breakfast at Al Waha Restuarant. Enjoyed water tempered pool by me and my son...
Had also booked the Spa therapy. Got complimentary access to Steam, Sauna and Jacuzzi.
Overall enjoyed the grandeur and A class hospitality of the Gulf Hotel.

Great hotel with fantastic food and beverage offers. Impeccable and refreshing service! Brilliant meeting rooms as well. If you have time to relax there is a brand new SPA and a very good gym adjacent to the generous pool area.
