GULF HOTEL, Manama, Bahrain Review

It's one of the oldest hotel in Bahrain still has its charm which could be seen in the marble stairs and reception. Plenty of good restaurants inside and a Cigar lounge. The only ugly thing is someone decided to cover the huge pillars with a cheap plastic black marble look alike.

You can't go wrong with your decision to dine in any of the restaurants here. One of the much loved fine dining spots from days of old.

Tani visit in this hotel .. The last time was very bad .. We entered the room at 5.30 the room smells urine .. Another need for shit .. The treatment of Altstaf was the one who is present Delwa .. Bad experience will not repeat them

Hotel room was okay but some lightings were defective and Aircon was not modern

Very pretty ... there awal ballroom is pretty but if you are planning for a wedding then you will have to do alot on your own for decoration .... the new ballroom is very large and mesmerising ... loved there buffet though... plus there convention center is great for confrences...

It does not require a respectful comment and there is a restaurant complex in the hotel

From the receptionist who never show smiles to their guest to the room which need maintenance as some lights switch doesn't work properly.

Very sad, unfortunately took my insurance from the visa and so far they refund me the amount that they said you will return the full amount after 5 working days but unfortunately certificates have zero

I discovered the best and most beautiful of this hotel, and hired employees and their style is open, open self and advise everyone to visit

We needed a quiet day away and the Gulf Hotel was the perfect spot. We checked in fairly late and had a drink and a sandwich at Sherlock's Pub and headed to Typhoon for a night cap by the pool. The hotel is within walking distance from the Adliya restaurants. We had breakfast and went rug shopping. We sat by the pool all day and relaxed. It was lovely. The hotel was extremely accommodating with a late check out. It was the perfect day.

Great selection of restaurants, the food is good in all of them. The renovations done to Sherlock Holmes are amazing!

Although it was a short stay I must say I was quite impressed with the service level. Facilities are of a high standard and the variety of Resturant's is excellent. Internet speed can be improved and that is my only comment.

This is one of the best hotel in Bahrain and the itself very popular in the region, large rooms and very clean &modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional, the hospitality service is very high standard.

The hotel is huge and well suited for conferences where guests can stay and attend the same. well maintained hotel and has a rich history as believed.

The hotel location is excellent very quite. The hotel had very well maintained swimming pool in addition to kids place, very good choice for family to enjoy the stay.
The staff is very welcoming from the time you reach the main gate till your check out. Very responsive & always attempting to meet & exceed customer expectations.
