The hotel is clean and houses alot of different restaurants. A bit old but really well maintained.

I am a fan of the clean hotel close to a beautiful tourist area and excellent service by the staff. The color is beautiful and always changes the decor, colors of the carpets, and elegant rooms.

It has a great location, near a great restaurants area and also has a few of the best restaurants of the city. And for the ladies it has an amazing gym spa facility.
The kids pool was quite cold, but apart from that we had a great time.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Gulf Hotel. It's well located and very close to Adliyah, which is a really lovely neighborhood with lots of cafes and restaurants. The women's spa at the hotel also has excellent exercise facilities, including a great sauna, hot tub and steam room.

I would happily stay at the Gulf Hotel again, should I have business in Bahrain again!

Really Im enjoying staying here, nice rooms , nice restaurants, the pool , the gym the lobby. Literally I loved everything here. It's close to Adlyia famous resturants area. I would recommend it for any family looking for a nice hotel to stay at Bahrain

Nice hotel, on the pricey side of the scale. Many good restaurants to choose from. The hotel gym is great, with everything you need for a full workout. The rooms feel a little dated, and bathroom and carpet were in need of attention. Too many sl maintenance men kept coming to my room to do work on the bathroom. Quality of work is very poor.

Very cosy place with a wide variety of restaurants. Beautiful lobby. Includes the Gulf Convention centre. Ample parking.

Just great if they give me a 40% discount. The Thai restaurant is lovely

Visited Zahle restaurant. Food was ok, however dance and singing performances are remarkable

The gulf hotel is an iconic part of modern Bahrain. It is one of the first 5 stars hotels in the kingdom and has a long standing tradition of good service and quality. The hotel has great facilities and restaurants. I especially recommend Sato and Takht Jamsheed.

But the hotel management is not present most of the time
And the room key did not work, and I only received the room after 5 hours of trouble
My belongings were lost and some assets were stolen by the working staff, and they were allowed into the room under the pretext of moving the items and without my consent or supervision.

My friends and I had an awesome time in Bahrain. Choosing the right hotel, like your one, helped us in accomplishing the mission. And....I went to spa 5 times within two days - enjoyed every minute. We'll be back soon. :)

Dirty corridors poor service the breakfast is horrible and room service is bad

Brunch was good and one is has a chance to try almost everything....the fruit and wine room is also good

The gulf hotel has remained over the years as the top place for quality restaurants. As a local I've never stayed in it so my review is about the venues here.

Sato - one of the top three sushi restaurants in Bahrain alongside Mirai (in adliya) and Kei's (in Golden Tulip Hotel). The main thing you look for at a sushi restaurant is freshness and they havr it here.

Zahla - arabic/libanese cuisine with good variety very tasty and good quality food

Sherlock Holmes - very good pub food but drinks are quite expensive there

Lobby - is good for meetings or for a quick coffee/tea (like what I'm doing now)

I'm missing few more venues from this review because I'm running out of time, but all the venues here are a safe bet and has all it need as a fine dine destination

Oh wait RASOI - probably the best fusion indian food you can get but it's EXPENSIVE. Recommended for special occasions

An excellent hotel with more than 5 international restaurants serving international and Arab cuisine

Very nice clean place. They have everything you need on site with a pool, pool side bar and restraint. There is something here for everyone worth 21 theamed restraints.

Great variety of restaurants, some set in a beautiful tropical garden with fish and palms. I've stayed there but more often gone there just for the excellent restaurants. Right on the border of the Adliya district which holds a large number of fine restaurants and clubs for all tastes. Walking distance to tour the Al Fateh Grand Mosque. Pictures are from the mosque.
