It was an easy experience and pricing was realistic. The wife & I have shopped there several times with satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Incredibly disappointed with the experience I had here. I took my girlfriend to look at their engagement ring selection. As soon as the sales woman helping us realized we weren t going to buy a ring at this visit she rushed us through the store. We asked to see several rings, and instead of acknowledging our expressed desires to see something a little unique, she continued to show us traditional options. She didn t engage in any conversation with us or seem to have any interest in getting a real understanding for what we were looking for. Furthermore, she continued to bring out smaller size options, under 1ct, when we made it clear we were looking for something a bit bigger. We didn t shared our budget and she never asked, she just assumed a 1.5 carat was out of budget, and wouldn t humor my girlfriend and let her try one on. There were several passive comments made and expressive eye rolls, all of which were unwarranted. Even after expressing our desire to see more, the saleswoman put the settings away and started her thanks for shopping here dialogue, leaving our visit feeling unfinished. The cherry on top was when I asked about alternative stones her response was Oh our store only carries high end products not recognizing that their website has several of these gemstones available nor offering any advice or recommendations. Their jewelry selection was poor and their customer service was certainly some of the worst I ve experienced in the Tampa Bay area. It s safe to say I will take my money elsewhere and never step foot in this store again.

I have been doing business with Gold and Diamond Source for over 30yrs. I have always received great service and help when purchasing their fine jewelry.

It's been a few months since we where in the store and I wanted to think about my words before I wrote in anger.
My husband and I where looking for a 1.5 to 2ct sapphire wedding ring. When we walked in we saw a few friends who have appeared in there Comercials.The lady said they have everyone do there Comercial with a snotty attitude, we told her what we wanted and she proceeded to tell us, that was very expensive!!!!! We wouldn't be able to afford it! Wow really!!! Then we where watched like hawks never once did Steve have that smile not once where we showed what we wanted! I sell jewlery as well, granted not million dollar rings, I wouldn't treat anyone that way, I don't assume customers don't have money and I treat them like humans! Needless to say we spent 5000 that day on the most amazing ring elesewhere. In cash ...I wanted the experience of the gds, I really wanted to be treated like there commercials. ... wasn't nice, I feel sorry for people who think they are above others I'm not saying go elsewhere they have beautiful things,maybe we caught the mother on a bad day... however....I won't be back.

These are the kindest people in any jewelry store you will ever find. Elise and Jason are beyond amazing! They have the greatest selection around, and truly have something for every possible occasion. I was vacationing in Indian Rocks Beach, Fl when I had a diamond emergency!! One of the diamonds in my wedding band fell out and it was no where to be found. I visit the east coast regularly so I have seen tons of advertising along with positive reviews for Gold & Diamond Source so I decided to give them a whirl. They were able to replace my missing diamond and service my ring for a great price and had my ring back to me 24 hrs earlier than expected. The entire experience was exceptional!

My wife was very excited to be there. First, she picked out a band from a large selection. The diamonds were brilliant and sparkling. The 2.6 carat main stone was priced right. I was in a local jewelry store where I get watch batteries and repairs. I asked about diamond sizes and prices. I was shown a diamond half the size for 20000$. Glad I took the time to shop at the gold &diamond source. Plus, the service after the sale.

They are amazing! I had lost weight before my wedding and my wedding band was too loose. This was a week and a half before the wedding. They were able to get the smaller size in and they expedited the ring to make sure it came in on time. They did this on their own dime! I am so happy with the Gold & Diamond source. Great experience. They were true professionals that took me through the experience with ease. I shopped three other stores prior to this. I had horrible experiences and mediocre ones. Once I came here, it became clear how subpar my previous experiences were.

Kathleen was fantastic. I needed guidance and help to pick the perfect engagement ring. She was a true professional. Something I noted out of the gate is that she didn t ask how much I wanted to spend until the later stages. Everywhere else I went, that was their first question and they immediately put me in a box. Also everywhere else focused on the diamond itself immediately. Kathleen took me through the process of picking the perfect setting first then backed into the perfect diamond within my price range. I went in tonight to sell a wedding set, worth around $2500. They offered me $200. Afterwards I went to a pawn shop that offered me much more! Very disappointed with my experience.

A few months back I visited Gold and Diamond Source to pick out a Diamond for an engagement. Elise Velazquez assisted me. I ended up with a beautiful ring. I am engaged. The other day we went back to choose our wedding bands. Elise did her job again and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I went to Gold and Diamond Source on 1/11/2020 to have my diamond ring resized due to a recent baby and I inquired about purchasing a back to my earrings bought there a yr ago and the lady helping me (can t remember her name. Debbie or Barbara I want to say) told me it would be $40. I said okay, I ll think on it I went back on 1/18/2020 to pick up my ring and it looked amazing (as usual when I bring it there) and fit perfectly! Joe was helping me. I asked him about replacing the earring back as well and he gave me a complimentary one and Literally made my day! He also offered to steam clean my earrings while I was there. I loved his customer service. I will continue to buy my jewelry from this place and recommend everyone I know

Yesterday I made the hour trip there to get my normal ring check up. The weather was starting to get bad and I had my infant and 3 year old with me. The security guard had the door opened and waiting for me. When I got in a young gentleman got me checked in and said it would be about two hours, which I had no problem with. Numerous people including himself checked on me to make sure I didn t need a drink or any help to my car with an umbrella. I was waiting for the rain to die down to try and get to the car. After about ten minutes the gentleman came over and said he was getting my ring checked out and cleaned right away so I wouldn t have to wait or leave and come back later. I appreciated that so much and it made my day so much easier to be able to wait a few minutes and then head right home. My rings turned out amazingly beautiful as always!

I went to 5 different diamond stores. in the St. pete/ downtown tampa area and when I walked in the store its as if I did not exist. I asked for helped twice and that person just sent me to someone else who didnt care.

after finally getting someone to help me the guy left so he could help someone else that just walked in. Then the owner came to look at the ring that I was selling and low balled me. He would only pay $1500 when the people at diamonds direct and merdian offered me $2500.

I did not appreciate the unprofessionalism at all. He tought he could try to scam me.

We really enjoyed shopping here. They had the largest selection and options for customizing and actually was a few thousand less than other jewelers we had shopped.

I ve been with this business so many time, all of the people over there was nice and amazing to do business with, but this time, some employee named Matt Butterfield he is an Estate buyer and a sales consultant. Stay away from him, this place is good but not this guy. He was not nice at all to us, he was rude and mean.

I have seen the biggest and best diamonds and gems on this planet and was still in awe of their exquisite collection.

The first time I wandered into Gold and Diamond Source I was helped by AJ. He assisted me with the purchase of an antique star ruby stick pin. He not only followed up with me after I left but he also sent me an appraisal for the item for my records.

I am AMAZED at the service at GDS. Two years ago I had my oval stone put in a new setting at GDS, and I moved to Virginia soon after. Recently the prongs kept becoming loose, and I called the store to see what they could do to help make my stone more secure. They paid for me to ship my ring to Florida, and then had my setting re-made custom for my stone so that it was as secure as possible, then mailed it back to me. I am amazed that they basically made a custom ring for me two years after buying it! I was so happy with the final product and service that I called to tell Mais and Alexis how grateful I was. I can't imagine anywhere else being this committed to their customers!!!

Had a wonderful experience. Both days we were there it was super busy and I was a little nervous due do Covid but I must say the staff was very efficient it directing customers to various areas to eliminate crowding. My husband told me about 5 years ago

Definitely a great buying experience. My wife recently had her wedding ring stolen and has been very depressed, so we decided to stop in to see if she could find a ring she liked. A young lady named Elise greeted us and she turned out to be awesome. She was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. After seeing several "wrong" rings, she found the "oh yes " ring. It is absolutely beautiful and I believe just might make my wife forget the ring she had worn for the last 18 years. We can not thank you enough for all of your help and for making this a pleasant experience.

Have sold a few gold PCs to them and I have found them to be very fair. Also sold a decent quality 1.05 ct diamond to them and found it to be satisfactory. Currently have a 2.08 princess cut out for grading with them and hope they will quote me a price that will be tolerable but based on thier initial evaluation, I don t think we are going to come together. I will update stars and verbiage after I hear back from them with their proposal. They also have a couple of Rolex s and rings I am interested in purchasing but their pricing structure is confusing to me. It s basically 500 off anything of 1000 or more which is 50 percent. (Via gift card or just discount). But over 1000 they are still holding at 500 off? Seems like they would have more dollar margin on higher priced items to enable a larger dollar discount on more expensive items. Maybe I am just not dealing with the decision makers in the store. After being in consumer product sales and marketing for 30 yrs, their pricing does not make sense to me if I understand it correctly.

I wouldn't buy jewelry any where else! Gold & Diamond Source has a great selection, really good prices and friendly staff. I also like the life time warranty and free cleaning and inspections. I am very happy with my purchases (two different anniversary rings -10th and 15th) I shopped around a lot and know I got a good deal on quality pieces - I get compliments on both rings frequently. Fabulous staff that goes above and beyond to provide great customer service. I worked with Brian (General Manager) today trying to figure out how I wanted to spend my Christmas gift certificate.
Once I determined what I wanted (necklace, earrings, and ring), I asked if they still had silver charms. (I have had a charm bracelet since 1975 and have had trouble finding sterling silver charms lately.) He brought out the silver charms that they have and I was in Heaven!!!! If you want silver charms, you must go! You have to ask for them as they are not on display.
My ring had to be sized (no additional charge) and will be ready on Friday. (Last time I purchased a ring from a jewelry store, I had to pay to have it sized up two sizes.)
I have never been a huge jewelry store person, but this will be the only place -- from this point forward -- that I will purchase quality jewelry. (I had to clarify as I love costume jewelry)
