Amazing place. During the summer we have been there a lot by bikes.
I'm happy to have finally visited this place. The view wasn't nearly as fantastic as I had expected. But still nice to have seen. And the walk all the way from King's Cross via Camden and Highgate was great.
Lovely garden for wedding photos clean and tucked away for privacy
Love it. Visit all the time. Great for running across, casual walks, picnics, listening to music by the band stand or mock elvis's do thier impressions. Great fun to be had.
One of the most beautiful parks I ever seen. There is a big variety of flora, it is also a very romantic place, ideal for a pic-nic in a beautiful day.
This is my favourite park for long walks in all weathers.
Love the cafe in the park
Beautiful slice of hilly greenery, ponds, trees, and picnic areas with impressive London skyline views. Great for runs.
Best park in London. Visit Kenwood house for free Rembrandt, Vermeer, and coffee ( not free).
Lovely place but toilet facilities limited like most places in London.
One of my favourite London spots, an enduring green oasis safe from development. Expansive and slightly hilly, the heath allows one to feel far away from London, whilst effectively being just up the road from Camden Town. It has Gspel Oak Lido on it's southern edge and wild swimming in male, female and mixed ponds. Some facilities dot around the Parliament Hill side but you come here for the wild nature of it all.
Beautiful place, peaceful and a beautiful skyline view of the citu
Beautiful flowers place for a walk with wonderful views.
This is not exactly the place where you become one with nature, but it comes close to it compared to other London parks. Hampstead Heath looks wild, human interference is kept to the minimum, and I like that. My little escape from the busy city where I can actually hear my thoughts. I feel energized after I come here.
What a lovely area to visit. I could have strolled for hours, it was so peaceful it was nice to go somewhere different to explore.
A slice of heaven. To run, frolick, picnic or play its like you have stepped into a book
Such a wonderful place, 400 hectars of nature with patches of forests. It does not even feel that you are in London
Heaven on earth is the view from Parliament Hill as the sunsets in the west and casts it dying rays on the City to the south east and Highgate to the north east. Absolutely breathtaking. Please keep this a secret between us !
The lungs of London. Stand above "The Smoke" and view the City from Parliament Fields. Probably the best urban park in the world, an island of peace.
Visit the countryside in the heart of London.....In Hampstead Heath you can easily forget you're in the city especially when you get lost.
Very good place for a countryside walk.
Exquisite, Calm, Relaxing, Therapeutic and a place to behold the beauty of parks... Its a place where can go and find oneself in the event that has a lot on one's mind.. The bathing ponds (ladies, men's and mixed) are second to none and sets it apart from any other place there is
Best place to walk our 11month old lab. Various dog pools (ponds) and a variety of paths to keep going back and not walk the same route twice! We come here weekly - great to keep your steps up. Also has open spaces to play with the children and a variety of pubs on the outskirts.
Good park for families. Pool, Multiple Playgrounds, large green spaces etc.
A place where crowds of people go to get away from the crowd!
Great day out if you like walking. Stunning views over London.
Stunning place to walk around. A quiet and relaxing get away from the city. Note though that cycling is very restricted, so not a place to go if you want to ride your bike.
Cool park with small lakes. My only problem was that with 2 kids 6 & 11, we couldn't bathe in the lakes because I had to accompany them in the water (and the little couldn't be left alone) and one lake was forbidden for kids under 10 and the other was forbidden for kids over 10.
It's a great park, huge place for kids to run around and play. Make sure you wear your walking shoes and why not bring a picnic too, you can sit by the lake or one of many many other parts of the park.
As it was during covid outbreak the little cafe was closed so there was no toilets - the only downside.
Fantastic weather and zillion people around. It felt like we were back in time, Summer 2019 when not known invisible enemy was around
We really love our walks in the Heath, our little ones and dogs love it. It's a breath of fresh air after a busy week!
Enormous and gorgeous. You can even go swimming in the lakes if you're feeling adventurous
Beautiful area! Recommend the park for walks and local pubs/restaurants for food and drink.
it s a nice park but the prices at the cafes are very high
Simply amazing I love parks and you can rest under a shed of tree and get fresh air and watch nature
Absolutely lovely place to stroll around for hours or have a picnic. It's massive, with some nice lakes and cultural sights as well. Pro tip: if you visit Hampstead Heath, wear boots with excellent traction that you don't mind getting muddy. The paths here are virtually all dirt, and if there's been rain recently they become slick, muddy pits. My only trip to Hampstead Heath was done in trainers and I was slipping and sliding the entire time I was there.
Wilderness fix in London. I love the ladies pond and kenwood house.
Loved it. Kenwood House is free! A must visit place.
Great place for literally anything. You can take a walk, make a picnic, play sports, go kiting or just go make love to your special someone in one of the many remote places :)
As close you can feel to being in nature without leaving London
A beautiful open park and a great view of the city from the hill.
Absolutely beautiful place. True love London experience
Brilliant, huge park with some of the best views of London from Parliament Hill.
One of London's great parks. Has a more "wild" feeling than some of the more central parks like Hyde Park or Holland Park.
One of the best open spaces in all of London. Have lived in the area for 20 years and still don't think I've explored it all ...
Beautiful open space, perfect for picnics and days out.
It's civilized nature at its finest and the swimming ponds are a live saver in the heat.
One of my favourite spots in London for relax type of going out. When you get to the middle of the park you literally start to feel like on the country side. During the summer there is pond with clean watter for kids with refreshments or exercise area with high bars, parallel bars etc.
It s a great escape in to a green. If you fed up with glass, concrete, crowded places and dusty pavements, don t think twice get you self in a trip to Hapmste Heath. Nice cozy coffee shops, boutiques, relaxed people and the most important this Hampstead Park. It s a green diamond in a London map. Get you self a blanket, some nice white wine and a bunch of snacks. It s a pick nick time
Clean park with wooded and field portions.
Terrace is probably most beautiful spring or early summer.
Hampstead is absolutely gorgeous especially in the summer. It can take hours to wander around the whole park. It's a great place for a stroll even for a run with stunning sceneries in every direction. You'll see lots of couples strolling hand-in-hand, runners, and even individuals simply enjoying the peace around them. Go to Parliament Hill, the highest point in Hampstead Heath offering sweeping views of London's skyline.
As a bonus the area of Hampstead itself is beautiful so you're not far from discovering another peaceful and beautiful neighbourhood in London. Kenwood House (a free attraction) is also close by and worth a visit.
One of the most beautiful parks in the whole of London, I highly recommend it over other parks found more centrally in London.
