Beautiful and buzzing - one of London's most varied and interesting places to hang out. Lots of things to do: playgrounds, sports ground, lido, swimming ponds, bandstand, kite flying etc. Or you could just lie down on the grass and chill.

Probably the best park in London with stunning view of the City. I've spent many sunny weekends here. If you are in the Hampstead Park you must visit Kenwood House at the north edge of Hampstead Heath.
My favourite place in London.

Magnificent open space which even the socialists managed not to build on. Perhaps due to the rich luvvie nimby population nearby? Lovely extensive spot, some untamed, with views of London. Great for walking. Some good local pubs.
Tie in with strolls round the "blue" plaques of dead locals, e.g. Marie Stopes, Lee Miller, Jacqueline du Pre, DH Lawrence and Thomas Beecham (just a small sample.)

Lovely

Hi Google

Kenwood house is a stunning restored heritage house which overlooks a natural bowl of lawns and woodlands.
Go then East and up the small hill rise to see the best London High rise skyline view!

One of my fave parks in London. From the Heath and its majestic views, to its forests and limpid streams of water surrounding Kenwood house and its magic, it's just a must-see in London.

Really big park with a nice view fromim the top. We got there cycling. The are is a bit hilly, and because of that it's a bit hard to cycle there. Also, buy something on the way because there is nothing up there on the park to buy something like water, beer or snacks. To find a toilet is also a problem, and don't remember finding a toilet there easily. It's some of the prettiest and biggest park in London.

This park is beautiful, and while the edges are bustling and filled with people, there are also spaces where you feel like you're walking down a wooded country lane rather than being in central London. I recommend bringing a picnic, or your puppy (there are dogs off leash everywhere here).

My only word of warning is that there is little in way of signage posted throughout the park's trails which means that Google Maps is your best friend if you enter the park with the intention of visiting a particular part of it.

This is a really nice part of London. You can park nearby in a car park and walk in the park. The high street has some nice coffee shops and tea rooms and a few nice pubs. It's a good spot to go for Sunday stroll and lunch particularly if you want to see some greenery whilst not heading out of London.

Very nice park and great view of the city. Some areas get busy on a nice weather day. The queue for the swimming pond was to long to even try. But the park is big enough to find a piece of lawn and relax.

Lovely park, usually go to fish in the ponds. Only real down side in my opinion are annoying dog owners who seem to think they own the place. If you're not a dog lover, steer clear! If you want to fish you need a permit from the parliament hill office along with the normal environmental agency licence. 6 of the ponds can be fished in, you get a map showing which with your permit. Happy fishing
