Hampstead is absolutely gorgeous especially in the summer. It can take hours to wander around the whole park. It's a great place for a stroll even for a run with stunning sceneries in every direction. You'll see lots of couples strolling hand-in-hand, runners, and even individuals simply enjoying the peace around them. Go to Parliament Hill, the highest point in Hampstead Heath offering sweeping views of London's skyline.

As a bonus the area of Hampstead itself is beautiful so you're not far from discovering another peaceful and beautiful neighbourhood in London. Kenwood House (a free attraction) is also close by and worth a visit.

One of the most beautiful parks in the whole of London, I highly recommend it over other parks found more centrally in London.
