walking up Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath this is a lookout point where you can stop and enjoy the city skyline aside from offering great views of the city skyline this is a beautiful nature escape you have woodlands walking paths and lots of people walking very friendly pups.
This enormous, ancient parkland is one of the best places to escape the city while at the same time catching an amazing view of it: the vista from Parliament Hill, which forms the southeast part of Hampstead Heath, is so impressive it s actually been protected by law. Elsewhere in the park you ll find a zoo, three swimming ponds (nominal charge which is often ignored) and plenty of quiet spots for a back-to-nature-in-the-heart-of-London picnic.

I loved walking through this park! It s especially quaint in nice weather. Perfect for picnics, dates, taking out your kids (as there are fields and toys to play on), or just hiking around. It s quite large, which is nice. Sometimes in doesn t even feel like you re in the middle of a large city!

We come here every year on the morning of Christmas Day for a traditional swimming race in one of the ponds (as spectators, not swimmers) :) It's always so much fun to watch those brave souls jumping and swimming in cold water, followed by a nice cup of warm mulled wine and mince-pie :)

This park has so much to offer! Gorgeous views of London from the Parliament Hill, Kenwood House, peaceful ponds with their wildlife and acres of well looked after grass/ wild flowers fields and forestry for those long walks or jogs or picnics on a beautiful sunny day.

Definitely one of my favourite places in London!

A lovely place to spend time with friends for walking, picnics, running, cycling paths, photography, lake swimming, kite flying and playground for kids. There are two restaurants, one at Kenwood house and the other at the south end of the heath. Packed on weekends summer and winter.

The best park in London - so many routes to walk and places to explore - though it can get busy on weekends these days - especially until the works are finished and the cordoned off areas are re-opened.

How twee. Very Sunday Times. That said, it's all very mature and ethnically "uncontroversial". Almost a village feel. Need to explore more but for the most part it seems views are obscured by treelines although you can find some incredible little ponds and glades. Hi recommended, but not highly.

The most glorious great green and free space in all of London. Enormous, great for dog walks, a place of beauty and soothing to the spirit in all weathers.

Get there easily too! Overground to Gospel Oak takes you to the lido entrance, Hampstead Heath overground brings you to South End Green, either of these points are good starting places to explore from. Enjoy.

This park is amazing. It is not as big as the other parks in London but it is surrounded by dense woods and the local area is not very busy. When you are inside the park there is a complete feeling of isolation from the urban area, super relaxing and chill if you want to take a break to read a book.
The main building inside the park is beautiful and worth checking out, it is also free to go inside so don't miss the chance.

One of the unique parks in London , with an lovely overview of the city..
Massive park with multiple entries around it, consisting of ponds, highlands , green fields , running track , cricket field, Children's play school & many more..
One of the busiest parks during summer..
The grand million pound villas surrounding it are not just posh but also have a sense of organic living that reflects on the lush green gardens in front & Victorian style houses that are still well furnished & maintained ...

Lovely place to be.

Great open space for children to be free to run and play. Trees to climb, playground and open air zoo. Welly boots recommended. A great outing after a good lunch on Mothers Day. A change of clothes for the one who fell in the mud.
