Huge woods where you can wander for hours. There are lakes where you can have a swim too on hot days. There's one for everyone, one for ladies only, and one for men only.

Hampstead Heath is absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful place to have in London. The walks here are stunning
Amazing atmosphere, natural beauty and scenery was breathtaking. Must visit place.
Visit from Parliament entrance, beautiful, windy and sky. Great view of London. I have the same religion as that tree over there.
Too many people who are not grateful of the park and too many spoiled kids
Lovely location for a walk. Great and large piece of greenery in zone 2, with park play areas, lakes, football and cricket pitches and some breathtaking views of London.
walking up Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath this is a lookout point where you can stop and enjoy the city skyline aside from offering great views of the city skyline this is a beautiful nature escape you have woodlands walking paths and lots of people walking very friendly pups.
This enormous, ancient parkland is one of the best places to escape the city while at the same time catching an amazing view of it: the vista from Parliament Hill, which forms the southeast part of Hampstead Heath, is so impressive it s actually been protected by law. Elsewhere in the park you ll find a zoo, three swimming ponds (nominal charge which is often ignored) and plenty of quiet spots for a back-to-nature-in-the-heart-of-London picnic.
I loved walking through this park! It s especially quaint in nice weather. Perfect for picnics, dates, taking out your kids (as there are fields and toys to play on), or just hiking around. It s quite large, which is nice. Sometimes in doesn t even feel like you re in the middle of a large city!
We come here every year on the morning of Christmas Day for a traditional swimming race in one of the ponds (as spectators, not swimmers) :) It's always so much fun to watch those brave souls jumping and swimming in cold water, followed by a nice cup of warm mulled wine and mince-pie :)
This park has so much to offer! Gorgeous views of London from the Parliament Hill, Kenwood House, peaceful ponds with their wildlife and acres of well looked after grass/ wild flowers fields and forestry for those long walks or jogs or picnics on a beautiful sunny day.
Definitely one of my favourite places in London!
Great place to take visitors from South Africa you can see the whole of London from here
A lovely place to spend time with friends for walking, picnics, running, cycling paths, photography, lake swimming, kite flying and playground for kids. There are two restaurants, one at Kenwood house and the other at the south end of the heath. Packed on weekends summer and winter.
Very beautiful place to go, with a nice and free view of the city.
This heath is amazing. Such beautiful views and just a nice spot to be. Spent hours just walking around up here. Lovely
Best place in the world for a stroll
Never know who you might see there also!!!
Cannot recommend enough!
The best park in London - so many routes to walk and places to explore - though it can get busy on weekends these days - especially until the works are finished and the cordoned off areas are re-opened.
Lovely place to relax on your own or with family and friends.
one of the best parks in London amazing view and the park is like a huge garden with lots of flowers nice paths to walk arround and you can find specialty coffee and handmade pastries and snack in Marios coffee kiosk at kenwood house which does amazing job!
How twee. Very Sunday Times. That said, it's all very mature and ethnically "uncontroversial". Almost a village feel. Need to explore more but for the most part it seems views are obscured by treelines although you can find some incredible little ponds and glades. Hi recommended, but not highly.
Awesome place, the environment is music for my hears and the paradise for my eyes!!!
The ultimate parkrun. 5 uphill bits altogether that will either destroy you or force you to face personal demons that will end with ultimate orgasm face.
Lovely open space to walk and lots of cute dogs running about. Good food in the restaurant and the cafe at the bottom of the hill.
The most glorious great green and free space in all of London. Enormous, great for dog walks, a place of beauty and soothing to the spirit in all weathers.
Get there easily too! Overground to Gospel Oak takes you to the lido entrance, Hampstead Heath overground brings you to South End Green, either of these points are good starting places to explore from. Enjoy.
Large open space but too much reconstruction work on the park at the moment
Great open space. Every time I go there I find something new. At the moment the autumn colours of trees etc are fantastic.
This park is amazing. It is not as big as the other parks in London but it is surrounded by dense woods and the local area is not very busy. When you are inside the park there is a complete feeling of isolation from the urban area, super relaxing and chill if you want to take a break to read a book.
The main building inside the park is beautiful and worth checking out, it is also free to go inside so don't miss the chance.
One of the unique parks in London , with an lovely overview of the city..
Massive park with multiple entries around it, consisting of ponds, highlands , green fields , running track , cricket field, Children's play school & many more..
One of the busiest parks during summer..
The grand million pound villas surrounding it are not just posh but also have a sense of organic living that reflects on the lush green gardens in front & Victorian style houses that are still well furnished & maintained ...
Lovely place to be.
Really great and huge park with more than enough land to walk for a couple of hours. Great place to take your as there's lakes, vegetation and open land to keep them occupied.
Very big and beautiful park. With a very nice view point
wonderful park and woodsso peacefully and fab views of London too.
Just beautiful xx
Its a great place for walks with your dog/s and picnics
Lovely and huge park in the heart of London. Great place for a picnic on a sunny day.
Great open space for children to be free to run and play. Trees to climb, playground and open air zoo. Welly boots recommended. A great outing after a good lunch on Mothers Day. A change of clothes for the one who fell in the mud.
The best park in London, only a stones throw away from Camden Town. You can go for a long walk and forget about the hustle and bustle of city life.
Amazing view of London, beautiful relaxing park! Nice gateway from the busy streets of London
The greatest park ever. So big and some great open fields, wooded areas and a nice big lake. There's a cafe too and toilets
One of the best parks in London, our dogs love it for walks!
Best park around. If you haven't been you're missing out. Amazing on a hot day. Good for dog walking, swimming, picnicking and escaping the crazy city.
Loved Going For Runs Here... It's Huge & Has SO Many Views Of Everywhere x
Great park, nice walks, dipping lake, and the views from parliament hill are fantastic. Feels clean also as your not in the centre of town with the extra congestion pollution.
The views are amazing and the park has so much to offer.
Great Park for a walk, run or just reading a book. Dogs friendly
Beautiful open space in London. Great for a walk or picnic.
Glorious place. A must visit. The bathing ponds are so refreshing and lovely.
Huge expanse of pseudo wilderness right next to central london. Well worth wondering around, the north side is less busy than the south side.
Beautiful views of London through a walk in a magnificent and peaceful park!
Really nice place to chill, quite crowded however. Saying that there is plenty of space all around and it's a great place to walk your dog.
love it. lost 3 hours in here and did not even notice kids had a blast every time we go
