This property management company has been a complete nightmare. I have attached a review I posted to google weeks back. Since that post the leak we have complained about has now made its way to multiple floors. It has gotten much much worse. I have attached photos. From this morning. We filed multiple emergency maintenance request since 6:30am. No one came until 10:45am. Due to how long it took for the emergency response the water pushed all the way over to the far side of the bedroom and caused them to have to rip up way more carpet then they needed to, had they dealt with the emergency in a timely manner. And your round the clock emergency maintenances a joke. It was just a trashcan that overflowed due in part to no one ever coming to check on things. There has been No fix in the last two days and water non stop. Your property manager Andrew has been nothing short of rude and dodgy throughout this entire process. We have been dealing with water and soaking wet carpets for well over 3 weeks. We have never experienced such a terrible property management and customer service.
**AVOID***
This property management is not here to help you **READ OTHER REVIEWS** I will keep an updated version of this review.
I honestly wish google would allow videos to be posted with reviews because one can't imagine this situation that they are calling livable conditions with out their own eyes. If you would like to see the water damage video please reach out to me on this review.
We rented the 14th floor which cost more and has higher ceilings. When we originally walked through the unit there was a hole cut out of the ceiling near the bathroom and they said it will be repaired it's just duct work.
Well here we are months in and every-time it rains our carpet gets so wet they have to come and cut out the padding below leaving the same gross carpet on top. We told the maintenance team it was the ceiling and they refused to listen. I woke up this morning my custom suits are drenched... my shoes are soaked and it is dripping from our ceiling where they said the "duct work was" When confronting the basic maintenance man he said they knew they previously had a leak there. They never once disclosed this to us. My wife can't even sleep at night because the maintenance guys said we must run this industrial fan to keep drying out the gross carpet that they won't cut out they just keep cutting out the wet padding beneath.
I today went to ask for pro-rated rent and or not paying this months rent at all because we cant sleep with Industrial fans running all night and we legitimately cant have anything in our closet in or the surrounding area in our bedroom. I thought pro-rated rent was a fair offer. After meeting with the Property manager on site Andrew he disclosed that there was a leak. Above our unit is the club house and pool he said it is actual structure issues that lead to this leak. He informed me the unit next to us had water leaking issues and those issues have now moved to our unit. Andrew made it very clear that Meridian/Paradigm this was going to be a push to get any help. (Fair Help). When I pitched the idea of not paying this Months rent due to weeks worth of maintenance, flooding and people in and out of our apartment he said he had to go to his supervisor but said basically you aren't getting out of payment. He said he wouldn't pro-rate but pitch the idea it to his supervisor. When I argued they were un-livable conditions he just rolled it off his shoulder and said no those arent. I am paying for a LUXURY APARTMENT and water coming through the ceilings and flooding coming from the ground as well don't count as un-livable. Having industrial grade fans blowing all night on moldy carpet ( they haven't cut it they keep the same water soaked carpet and just rip the padding underneath out... which is a mold concern for not just me but units around me. This is un-livable.
