Had a wonderful family picnic. The park has so much to offer on each visit. A real gem in North London.
Great park, good place for
picnic, nice view from the hill
A national treasure, A gorgeous dive into what life was like a hundred years ago. Less manicured compared to other parks, which gives it it's charm. If you like parks, wooded areas etc....you'll love this.
Very nice place to hangout with the family. There is a paddling pool for the kiddies. All and all a very good place for the family.
Best park in London, where you feel you're outside London
It's a landmark but its grass is well worn to the point it becomes scrubland.
Hiked, bimbled, explored, geocached, chilled out, cycled, kissed, held hands, consumed ice cream and sandwiches here.
There is something for everyone here and no matter what the season or the weather some time spent here is good for the soul.
A gorgeous place to visit. I've been many times and there's still so much to explore.
A beautiful slice of the UK! Only issue being that there was some kind of fire, or fire drill, or something going on at the time and my party had to walk MILES back to find a bus.
Beautiful place but roads are very narrow and parking is virtually impossible
A great place to visit for walks. Geocaching and more
I live in cricklewood Broadway, near to me and visited this place by walking. Top view of London and pound of taking bath for men and womens.
Kenwood House is a beautiful place for a walk. Surrounded by lush greenery and open space. Free parking along the road outside makes this an even more attractive venue for your walks.
Hampstead Heath is my most visited park. Pond swimming, outdoor training, hills to climb, forest to explore, what's not to like.
Very nice place to visit, also great places to eat&drink.
I went to Golder's Hill Park with a group of 7 autistic teenagers and we had an amazing time! There is so much space and a variety of things to do. Definitely make sure you check out the ring-tailed lemurs when you visit!
One of the most beautiful, with great London views.
Decent park, a few dogs that needed muzzles and leads didn't so caused some issues but the park is nice.
One of the best and biggest open spaces in London. The Heath is a wonderful place to visit with many lovely spots for picnics and walks all over the heath as well as the iconic views over London from the top of Parliament Hill.
Lots to do but only a small categorical selection (meh pizza and simplistic coffee)
Beautiful walks, lots to see, relaxing areas, great views and kenwood house for cake and tea. A great dog walking day out.
Really nice place. I spend some time there with friends. Happiness is really made of simple things: good friends, a beautiful park and some food ;-) what else could you ask?
If you like walking or taking you dog for a walk then this is the place for you but the tea house is very expensive & it might be an idea to take your own food along...
Great location for a walk out of the hustle and bustle of London life. Take a dip in the bathing ponds in the height of summer or brave it when it's a bit chillier. Grab lunch and have a picnic.
I love Hampstead Heath! Wonderful fields and trail forest great for outside walking and socialising
Favourite park in London! Great to watch the Sun go down and a lovely little outdoors gym to have a workout
There is definitely a place for well-groomed gardens and play areas that meet all the health and safety standards of our age. But if you are looking for somewhere a little less manicured (except for Kenwood I suppose) in the middle of health and safety obsessed Britain - and perhaps the most manicured part of London (Hampstead!), well, Hampstead Heath will come as a pleasant surprise. Many of the paths are maintained largely by foot traffic and fallen trees are (largely) left to rot where they fell. Kids have to "make their own fun" and adults will have to use the sun (or their phones) to not get lost since there are precious few signs telling you which way to go. We'll be going back as soon as we can.
A nice place to go with the family, with a renowned view of the London skyline!
Lovely tranquil spot in an otherwise chaotic London :)
One of the best parks in London. Plenty of space to get lost, great for dogs.
I hadn't been for years.. still a lovely place to walk and talk..and take in the views, then head to the village for a well earned beverage
One of the best parks in London. Swimming ponds, old trees and great views from the tops of the hills. Great for a long walks, or for a picnic. Good access by public transport.
Very interesting and fun mountain bike trails . Full of adventure
Beautiful large open space for dogs. Amazing view of London.
Perfect for walks and a lovely birds eye view view of London from Parliament hill. A great alternative to London eye.
One of the few places in London you can get lost in nature. Fantastic views in places, mature forest in others. This park is so vast it has everything. It is well worth visiting and revisiting.
Undoubtedly the best green space in Greater London. Feels like you're a world away from the city. Well maintained but in a natural manner. Great for picnics, hikes, and great views over London from Parliament Hill.
Very nice place to visit in the summer with friends. Beautiful views or London from kite hill too. There are ponds at the bottom with ducks and aquatic birds swimming around. Quite relaxing to visit on a day off work.
Such green lush! Amazing for a good walk.. you can easily spend the whole day exploring it and not get bored with the views..
My favourite park of all time! So many little paths you can always find somewhere new, hills with views, ponds you can swim in, an estate house and cafe, and wild woods you can get lost in. Magical.
I'm from Yorkshire, so obviously we have far more beautiful countryside, but it's a pretty good green space with a good view of London.
I love this park, the views are amazing. There lots to do, family friendly. A must if you like parks
For me it's the most beautiful park in London, because of it's huge forest and gorgeous views. Toally recommend it!
One of the best open spaces in London. Because it's so hilly and wooded, it feels even bigger than it is. Plenty of separate meadows to sit in and enjoy a picnic with friends.
Very well kept and so green
Staff very helpful and attentive
Amazing oasis of nature just north of the city centre.Great views of the city in some parts too. But if it's raining, or has been, be sure to bring your wellies!
A beautiful place, all the trees are deciduous so it feels like the countryside.
Great park with outdoor swimming pool, was closed but went bathing in the ponds instead. Fantastic! Has childrens play areas, great for nature walks and also has a huge running track. Tennis courts and more!
Lovely place. Especislly Kenwood house and when they host the annual House Festival
Open space just outside the heart of London, as wild as you'll get with lots of rich people obvs
Wonderful corner in north London. Little streets lead to the majestic Hampstead Heath park, a real gem.
What's not to like - a huge space, easily accessible on public transport in London. It is wilder than other parks and it really does feel like you are in the countryside. It isn't particularly easy terrain. A lot of rough paths, but it does have more manicured parts. If you're heading off and one of your party has mobility issues, you might want to research your route. A nice antidote to the city - but if you start getting twitchy in all that fresh air, pubs, shops and cafes are in easy reach.
Great view of London from Kite Hill, Hampstead Heath.
Beautiful parkland, one of the best I ve ever seen.
One of the best parks in London. Hilly, with lakes, ponds, cafes and restaurants. It has one of the highest viewpoints of London. It s close to Hampstead village, with loads of coffee places, shops and restaurants. Perfect if you want to do some hard core training. The hills can be quite scary, but the reward of getting to the top is incredible.
Lovely park for a stroll, picnic or run. Good views across London in the right areas.
Cons: Finding a restroom can be tricky.
