Hills, many hills for those who were misguided into thinking London is predominantly flat. And fresh air. Can't get enough of that stuff.

A glorious green space away from the hustle and bustle of the city but easily accesible using public transport. The ponds are perfect for a dip on a hot day and there are plenty of places to set up for a picnic, but equally beautiful any time of year.

Best place in London :) drop into the World Peace Garden next Hampstead Heath station when you're catching the train home.

Amazing an relaxing. There is a cafe built in a historic way. Looks so romantic for end of summer walk.

Couldn't believe that place like this exists in London. One could waste a hall day there.

i bought the entirety of hampstead heath at a nightclub in soho in the winter of 1997. why people still persist in trespassing is beyond me. thank heavens i'm left wing.

So big. Abit muddy. Not enough signs going around hampstead heath so got lost espeically when it gets dark very quickly. Nice vast landscape. Make sure to take boots!!!

Hampstead Heath is definitely one of London's best parks with its rolling woodlands and meadows it feels like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This was amazing , loved the beatiful place , swum in the wonderful ladies pool

beautiful parklands good for relaxing or walks and runs. plenty of people bring their dogs here too. you get nice views of the city when you get up the top of hills. there's also plenty of nice restaurants and shops surrounding the area.

Hampstead Heath is an exellent park to hang out on sunny day.

A lovely place to go for a very cold swim! Summer this place is packed, but if you can brave it in September it's worth it. Very fun drying off in the sun with a beer and friends afterwards. Looking forward to going again. This time I'll be wearing swimming trunks.

It's just the best open space in London and it's free

Can't go wrong with Hampstead Heath, so beautiful, at points you wouldn't know you're in the city.

My first time going to Hampstead Heath

Walk from Hampstead village across the magnificent wooded heath to Kenwood House with its stunning art collection. A great way to pass a day in London, far from the madding crowd.

Quiet place, perfect when sunny for having a picnic. The wild park is enjoyable as well

I love this place, it is very difficult to find the pergola on the roof. But well worth getting lost to find.

It's a nice park with all the facilities in that you would expect to be there. Cafe, running track, lido, child's play park and many others.

Lovely Exquisite Park with lush landscaping incorporating blooming flowers and trees

Magnificent and clean green space within the city of London. At each corner of the park you could enter in to some of London's very best villages that attach to many other attractions. So much wonderful history plaques and places (such as Kenwood House) that the city has provided and can give you some amazing perspective. It's also so beautiful to relax in during summer or even on a fall day.

I'm sure it's delightful in every way if you have time to explore and stroll. I just took a short walk along the ponds and found it very relaxing.

Hampstead is and always will be one of my favourite places in London. The park is vast and diverse in scenery with woodland and fields and lakes. Love the ladies pond in the warmer months for its tranquility and friendly vibe. Good selection of cafes around Hampstead tube station, but parking is difficult and coffees and food are overpriced.

Best park in London. If it's hot? Getting into the ponds is a MUST

What is there not to like? In some places you can t see a building and wouldn t know your in the city!

Checking out the view from Parliament hill is recommended.
