Great day out for the family, with great views of London.

Great day out for the family, with great views of London.
Love it! One of my favorite places on Earth. Beautiful park with great walks. Swim in the ponds. Have a brunch at the Kenwood house. See some art in the gallery behind it. Do some celeb spotting. Take your date, your friends, your mother, your grandfather, your kids or just by yourself.
One of the best places in London to get outside and enjoy nature. Perfect place to do some sports, relax and have a picnic, a romantic walk or just wander around and take in the sights. There are many ponds and a lot of birds. In some of the ponds you can even swim.
Great outdoor play and picnic area for kids. Toilets in serious need of a makeover.
Had a great time with a picnic, rounders, frisbee and other games.
A wonderful open space full of dog walkers and every breed you can think of! A welcome escape from the busy city. The outdoor lido and natural lake swimming are experiences to be had.
Lovely place for a walk or just to relax. Took kids with me and had a good run around. It was a lovely afternoon.
The best place to see the good ol' city. Best for tourists to come and see what the city really is.
Extraordinary views, lots to explore, lidos and ponds to swim in. This place is definitely worth couple of visits because you won't get to see all it has to offer in one day.
Hampstead Heath is a perfect place for a day out to have some fun time with children or sports activities for all age. It's a great place for relaxation.
Hampstead Heath is hardly a secret in London, it's far too busy for that. Still, it's a big expanse of much needed nature in the city, and hilly nature allows you to forget about all the noise and business of London below. It's very popular with dog walkers, and sometimes it feel like they're are too many. But then you see kidsb flying kites, couples having a cosy picknick in the grass, and the world seems like a better place.
Even on a rainy Thursday, still great to walk and enjoy the peace and tranquility
The Heath is very important part of my healing process ...the outdoors with the beauty it offers.
Nice and pleasant place, great for dog walkers and summer walks
Stunning view of city from Parliament hill and greenery to spend the day! Best place to wander during summer
Beautiful, surprisingly wild, green space within London. Great for Sunday walks.
Difficult to think of compliments not already made, one of the lovelies open spaces in London. Natural rather than landscaped.
My favourite green space in London. Big enough to find a quite area to yourself, even on sunny days. Have a lovely spot that I always go but won't be revealing it here!
Just a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hampstead Heath transports you back to nature. The Heath is easily big enough to get lost but there's always someone to ask for directions if necessary. There are also 2 ponds reserved for swimming, one for men and one for women. Walk your dog, go for a jog, meditate, sunbathe, a picnic...
And it's free!
Using OS map as guide, we had a nice leisurely 2 hours circular walk up to Kenwood house and back to car park.
Great place to go it feels like youre not in london
Very nice park! It's big so it's not as packed as other parks in London!
One of London's most iconic parks, offering stunning views of the city.
Absolutely amazing place! Charming, beautiful and peaceful. Just loved it!
I went as accompanying my daughter school trip and i found it amazing.
Very big, safe and whit great activities for children. I will come back with my family to spend the day.
Best place to be soaked in nature to breathe fresh air
London's lung. Clipped in places, wild in others. Something to please everyone. Marvelous.
In my opinion, Hampstead Heath is the best outdoor space in London.
There is plenty of space to explore; if you want a view of the city take a seat in Parliament Hill or Primrose Hill - there are always plenty of people around doing the same, and walking dogs.
The playing fields near Dartmouth Park are great for outdoor exercise or a game of football or head to any of the ponds for a relaxing time by the water - don t forget your sun cream!
(also an excellent place for a photo shoot with your band)
Lovely open space with great playground for our grandson.
Beautiful park for a run in the summer. The public pools have shower and towels if you dare to take a dip. Do take some coins with you, and they take 2 pounds for the services and only cash.
Drift away from all the sh t that's going on sit walk forget your troubles for a while
Great place to escape too, amazing green space in the middle of a big city.
Excellent place for walking/running. Well maintained and very scenic.
Amazing park, great area north of London city with fantastic homes, architecture, historic buildings and overall nice layed out high street. There s a come cute small pedestrian avenues off roads with billowing trees, amazing colours in the autumn time. Good pubs & cafe/food around the area. Recommend booking a table for brunch/drink & food in The Holly Bush. Nice weekend lunch stop, nice high up views of the city just around the corner for afterwards.
Hampstead Heath is one of my favourite places in London. Hampstead Heath is huge and it offers something for everyone - joggers, kids, dogs, couples and families. The park is quite big and I find a new patch of the park every time I go there. The heath has bathing ponds for both men and women. Hampstead Heath is popular and gets crowded on warm sunny days.
Amazing park. Really feels if you left the city totally.
Great place for a cheeky 5k run on a Saturday morning if you ask me
Very nice park for long walks, or just chilling out and relaxing.
The best place to walk in the area. Always nice and calm. It makes your day and (night) :)
You could walk forever and still never find you way back home.
Wonderful place to have a day out with family and friends
In the glorious sunshine on a wonderful Sunday, you can't ask for much more than the sights and sounds of the Heath. An absolute dream of a place in the heart of London. Enjoy!
Always nice for a ramble and there's a view which isn't commonplace in London
Amazing for sunny weather, the park itself is huge, great for long relaxing walk!
This green heart is a classic taste of what makes London different to other big cities. Ramble through the woods or picnic in the open grassland. Parliament Hill has great views, Kenwood House for a cup of tea and take an open air swim in the ponds. Heading there in wetter weather will help avoid the busier times.
It's Londons big park full of shiny happy people (on a sunny August Weekend)
I have embrassed Kenwood House through my life. Times and special moments spent here. It knows the secrets of my heart...
Excellent place to visit! Beautiful views from Parliament Hill and lovely grounds.
They have a bathing pool which are very popular in the Summer but well worth the wait.
I visited the Pergola - a hidden gem and a great photo opportunity. You will find the location is often used for wedding photos.
There were a few photographers when I was there.
Wear comfortable shoes if you want to explore the different attractions as they are not close to each other.
Very nice but be careful for dog poo. Other points are just outstandingly good. Also not crowded at all.
Great views and amazing park with plenty of picnic spaces
If you need time away from the hustle and bustle of the big city this place offers wide, open spaces and natural beauty away from heavily manicured parks. A bit of rural wilderness that is always worth exploring.
Hampstead is so posh, even the pigeons are well educated.
Amazing landscape, crispy cold ponds and very good flora and fauna.
Great place to roam freely in a semi wild setting and look across London
Tranquil, wide open spaces, beautiful lake with Heron, Coots etc plenty of space for families to picnic and fir digs to run about. Also used for Music and concerts Amazing!
Lovely open space in London. Didn't see George Michael once.
One of the best places to escape from the city while still being comfortably close. Whether you want stunning views, swimming ponds, fun fairs, or quiet wooded grottos, it's hard to beat the heath.
Loved the park. The bathing ponds are nice during summer, but you have to pay something like 2 pounds to swim in it.
Open for takeaway so ideal for picnic on the Heath.
Apple pie homemade and delicious
Love the Heath - nature, walks, views, air, climbing, endless outdoor fun. Go there and enjoy
This park has everything from animals to flower gardens to the woods, nice icecream.
Love this park.. the children's play area is great for kids.. it had a little zoo and lovely views
