Being a professional broker,
We have been working with Generali for years, so far no problem.
Since taking over Athora, things have only gotten worse.
The buyout of the property and casualty portfolio by Baloise Insurance does nothing to help matters.
I can no longer offer quality service to my customers, and this is reflected in my production.

I find it a shame on Athora's part to have settled in Belgium in this way.

I really do NOT recommend this insurance company anymore.

Hospitalization service completely absent. Zero communication. We don't even know where we should send the documents. So to be reimbursed I have little hope. It is a group insurance therefore we are 350/400 people within the company. I will immediately ask for a meeting with the union of the box to transfer the group insurance to a more competent company than Athora.

Edit: here, from January 1, 2020 we will be at DKV thank you Athora

Edit 2: July 2020 still no news since August 2019. Insurance aces !!! Finally for the shareholders ....

The insurance lets me down completely without any explanation. The incident is covered, but athora does not give me a lawyer to protect me. They also do not give any reason why they do not help me in the legal proceedings. 10 months that I fight. I will therefore have to sue them for their non-assistance and no communication. Communication impossible. never respond to e-mails, always on hold by telephone. Ask for cancellation of the fire policy due to moving a copy of the sales deed. Totally unacceptable because that is a violation of Privacy. Made me pay my civil liability for my car twice for 2 years, because my insurance agent had forgotten to pass it on.
This insurance certainly never again !!!

Stay away !!

My mom saved no less than 14 YEARS. For a premarital savings plan. Once I got married, there was no mention of paying this amount. I had to wait until 08/22/2020 for the contract to expire, or we would have lost a very large part of the amount. Okay fine. But this is NOT a "for" wedding saving, I assume .. after a long wait and calling, we kept getting very unfriendly staff on the line. Now a few years ago, they suddenly stopped taking the monthly amount from my mother's account. We couldn't save any further, but we had to wait until Aug to receive the money . I can tell you 1 thing these practices on this farm are far from correct. Now passed 08/22 and we STILL have not received any savings. We have been on the line for no less than 4x 30 minutes with the so-called customer service , nobody answers ??? So have we lost our hard-earned savings now? God knows, this is not about 100 and just a few more zeros, I will not leave it at this. And then they have the guts with the birth of my son to just call me if I want to save for him ??? Sorry but I will stay away from such a small society now! Scammers

I agree with previous comments. The worst service you could possibly expect from an insurance company. Over two weeks to reply to a simple email, called 3 times and told each time it takes time. Definitely switching providers as soon as possible! Would not like to know how they treat urgencies.

It pays exorbitant premiums, no real "contact" with the customer.

Having had a "hanging" in LAW (refusal of priority from a Polish national) I am told that yes I am sure and that I will be compensated.

Oddly I join them my will to leave their insurance at the end of the contract (7 months after the facts ..) strangely I am not sure at home when hanging for reason x or Y.

Insurance thieves and scammers of all kinds.
Of course my refund I can forget but they do not forget you

I am very disappointed in Generali! My investment would have expired in January this year. I myself am still behind their feathers to receive my investment. If you want to take insurance, honestly: look elsewhere. Generali Belgium seems to be totally incompetent.
By phone "sorry sir, the reference person of the file is not in the office today". By email, idem.
They are unable to help you. The payment of the balance of a contract takes months when they have received all the documents. I would NEVER call on Generali's service. I hesitate to even complain.
