This is my favorite coffee spots in san diego. Good coffee and plenty of space to spread out and work. Food is standard ast food cafe style so dont expect anything gourmet here. Nice selection of coffees and other drinks to choose from. Its open 24 hours so for all you night owls or students cramming, this is a great spot.

Nice and relaxing coffee shop to enjoy a cold or warm drink. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. The peach Melba iced tea tasted very refreshing and went well with the cranberry blue cheese salad. Seem to be able to find power plugs throughout for laptops and gadgets. If you get in later though, it gets crowded but maybe just smile and ask someone to share the table with you :)

It is really hard to find parking and seating when you go during a busy hour. But, the coffee and snacks are good, and they have a seating area in the back that is quiet enough for a thriving cafe.

The coffee was great but expensive. I ordered a small but was forced to buy a medium because they don't have small cups for iced drinks. It was over $6! The line was long, the place was packed and very hot and stuffy, loud and was not a good atmosphere to study in. I won't be going here again.

I love the fact it's open 24hrs. I love thr atmosphere. Not so much the old couches and chairs. Problem is it's infested with roaches I have seen more than 2 and I have a video of it on the wall to show all. Food and drinks are ok. Too crowded on peak hours from day to night. They need to renovate or move to a new location and make sure it's not roach or criter bug infested. The furnitures old and dirty and has bugs biting customers. My self and others I know that come here regularly! I suggest the owner think about renovating or bombing the place it's not sanitary who knows where n what those bugs n roaches touch food etc. Gross to think about... Sorry! But please you have the money n means to clean the place up why don't you! Show some appreciation to your regular customers.

Very, very good food and drinks. I went to wait for a friend who was doing an audition so it was sightly awkward for me, not knowing what the atmosphere was going to be like. It's a really great classic cafe. Make sure you go with friends or some kind of book or device because it is a little quite. Really great, extremely cool place.

If it was possible to give this place -5 stars I would. DO NOT come here for the coffee or the Vermont panini breakfast sandwich. You can really tase the microwave in their food. Lazy food, lazy coffee makes this place hands down the worst coffee spot that I ve literally ever been to. $19 I wish I could get back.

Better food variety and quality than your average coffee shop. Great sandwiches and croissants. Very fun interior, with lots of wood and paintings. Great place to write a Wikipedia entry or catch up on your Google reviews. Adequate bathrooms. Occasionally understaffed; that's my only complaint.

Along with the other location on Adams, these two are my favorite cafes in town. I don't go there as much fun the coffee as I do the feel and vibe, there's something special about this place that's hard to describe... Free, Positive, Relaxing maybe?

It seems to be very popular with the college crowd and there's always a lot of smart young folks studying away. Consequently, sometimes it can be a challenge finding a spare table. Even so, there is always someplace to grab a seat, either on the big couch or one of the several giant high-back, throne-like chairs scattered about.

Parking? That's another story. When it's busy you'll be lucky to find a spot in the same zip code! Walk, take a bike or motorcycle/scooter and you will thank yourself.

Lestat's on Park has become one of my favorite places to relax and just be. I love the coffee, deserts, and the people are all wonderful! Love love love the people who work there! Not only are the guys and gals friendly and lets face it pretty darn attractive, they are also very helpful. A huge thank you to the staff for being so great and for always helping me find something yummy! I recommend Lestat's on Park any and every time!

Gotta love the study vibe and broad hours of operation, not to mention the decent food and varieties of crafted caffeine here. The Wi-Fi has improved over the years and Cox even has a cloud in the area to tap into (don't forget to use a VPN and firewall for protection). I encourage patrons to pay for the Wi-Fi through purchases of food/bevs or the art on the walls if we want this place to thrive and continue to be a vibrant community hub. A couple of minuses are the grungy fabric upholstery on a few chairs/sofas and the layer of kitchen grime that goes uncleaned, so something to avoid if possible. That said, there's not enough minuses to keep me from returning again and again to this Mecca for gathering students, neighbors, artists and the like.

Every coffee house should have one thing perfected - a regular cup of coffee. I'm sad this wasn't the case when I walked to my nearby Lestat's because I love the atmosphere inside.. the coffee was watery -- then I went back and paid to add a shot of espresso to it because it was so watered down which ended up costing me $4 total for a cup of coffee with flavor. Unfortunately the cup was full of coffee grinds at the bottom. Total fail.

Without exaggeration the worst oat milk vanilla latte I ve ever had. Undrinkable. Should have gone back and asked for a refund but I was already down the street before I tried it. Grainy texture not sure what that was :/
Interesting atmosphere but will not return.

A nice local coffee shop with lots of seating and wifi. They offer a large selection of drinks and food. Generally 6 types of drip coffee available.

Seating is sometimes limited because of the people camping the wifi. Outdoor seating is available, but usually used by those choosing to smoke.

Gets very busy. Not all electrical outlets are functioning. They don't have sweet and low and the side station is typically a mess. The bar is taste could be more humble and attentive. However they serve Dietrich coffee which has great flavor. The building is cozy

Cosy cafe located on University Ave in San Diego. Massive massive place milling with University students makes it the perfect hangout joint. Coffee isn't bad either, but one should go there for the vibe and warmth associated with this cafe. One of the top places to go to, especially after a wonderful Thai meal at Baan Thai also located up the street.

It would be a 4 star if I could actually see in there. Terrible place to read anything that's not on a bright monitor. For a coffee shop that is predominantly packed with people getting work done or studying, the yellow, dim ambiance lighting that provide less light than a candle just doesn't make sense. Increase the lighting, please. You try to wake up with the coffee only to be put to sleep by their night light lol.

Drip coffee was not good. It tasted slightly old, like they possibly don't clean their thermos' very well. Baked stuff was average. It seems people come here more for the atmosphere than anything, the decor was pretty neat.

Good coffee & nice selection of tea. Food is good with interesting menu of breakfast & lunch items. I had the broccoli cheddar quiche that was yummy with mint tea. Open and airy with eclectic decor that includes comfy chairs. I went for a gathering in the back room that accommodated us all. Only drawback is that there are always quite a few solitary people that come with their laptops and camp out at a table for 4 on purpose. Which is frustrating when with friends. Been there when we had to leave and go somewhere else.
