My experience with Gateway Toyota was exceptional. The service was excellent . Stephanie, Kyle, Cat and Mario were so amazing to deal with. I've never felt so comfortable and welcomed in another dealership. Everyone was super helpful and very honest; they really cared about getting me exactly what I wanted for the price I was looking for. I would recommend this dealership and these people to any one of my family and friends.

Unfortunately, i got one car from goAuto nissan. The same thing happened 2 years age, i looked for a old version rav4 at that time, and wasteed my time on gateway toyota, but bought a kia suv at last. i will not waste my time on gateway toyota again.

goAuto is good, every time they give me good servce.
Don't go gateway toyota, so many bossy guy worked there.

Their service and parts department will tell you ...

Their service and parts department will tell you one price over the phone then the price will change at time of payment. First time there for service and was told it would be a little over an hour wait, then told after checking back it's going to be a few hours. Then had to wait for a shuttle I could have requested earlier if known beforehand. They are terrible at coordinating service and communicating. We purchased a brand new vehicle with them and they treat new owners poorly. Go somewhere else. Their "gem" service is nothing more than a meaningless plastic card.

I was helped with the purchase of my 2018 Camry Xse by both Ivan Tse and Kameel Koya (sales managers). They were extremely informative and helpful in guiding me to make the best choice! I had the pleasure of dealing with both Marsha and Catalin in finance. Both were great with explaining why a pro pack and ecp were important to have! Needless to say the purchasing experience was fantastic.
For my delivery I was helped by Leo who knew absolutely everything there was to know about my beautiful new sedan!
I had one of the best days going to pick up my vehicle and feeling like a top priority by everyone. I will definitely be back in the future :)

Great experience! Got a good price on my trade in. Truck delivery was seamless. Swapped my winter tires off my trade at no cost.
No hidden fees, price quoted was price paid.
Bob Jeancart was very good to deal with, no pressure and delivered what he promised.
Would recommend this dealership!

I did not have the greatest experience here. I had a very limited amount of time to buy a vehicle after an accident I had in January. I came to this dealership looking for a used SUV. Here were my issues: when I was shown the vehicle it was not pointed out or disclosed to me that there was damage to the bumper. If this had been shown to me I may have not purchased the vehicle. However that being said, it is a used vehicle and only cosmetic so not the hugest deal. However, hours after I drove this RAV4 off the lot after purchasing it, it began to make an awful high pitched squealing noise. From my experience I thought it was the belt so I called my salesman the next morning and he told me to bring it in. After a few hours of sitting there the girl in service came back and told me it was not in fact my belt, it was my alternator and they had quoted it at over $1000 to fix. She stated to me that she had asked the used car manager if they could fix it for free for me and he said NO . SERIOUSLY??!! I had not even been in possession of the vehicle for 24 hours yet not to mention I had paid them in cash for this vehicle the day previously so you can imagine how angry I was. Needless to say I demanded to speak with him. They led me to the sales floor where I relayed what had just occured to my salesman who assured me things would be taken care of. I talked to the used car manager and he flat out denied saying he wouldnt fix it and pretended not to know what I was talking about or that he had ever talked to service. This angered me more because if there is anything I find disrespectful it is being lied to. I basically told him BS and you are going to fix my car for free because i didnt think it was fair to sell someone a vehicle one day and then tell them they need to pay you for $1000 worth of repairs less than 24 hrs later, especially when you have allegedly done an inspection on the vehicle. So he went off to talk to the girl in service ( likely to chew her ass out) Rohan ( my salesman) assured me everything would be fixed. I have to say he really did try to smooth things over and make me feel better about things which I did appreciate because at this point I was so angry and stressed out it was ridiculous. Anyway they did end up fixing the alternator for free however since I drive for work and I couldnt drop my car off to be fixed during the day I had to drive around for a week with an embarassingly loud alternator, praying that it wouldnt crap out on me and leave me stranded in the cold weather. When I did show up for my appointment the next saturday service hadnt even booked me in or ordered the part either which was frankly ridiculous. Also according to their inspection my brakes were at 80 %...nope. They are almost gone now and I have to replace them myself. Oh and one more kicker- I broke down with a flat tire a month ago. Went to use the jack they said would be in my car. Well, there was half a jack there... they didnt even put a whole jack in the vehicle!!! I dont know how they expected me to jack my car up or remove my tire without the bar part of the jack. Not to mention the jack is much too small for the type of vehicle I have, this is the same jack I had in my yaris. Unacceptable.
This experience really ruined the experience and excitement for me of purchasing a new vehicle which is really unfortunate because aside from the brakes now I really do like the vehicle and it is a great car. I would never go here to service my vehicle in a million years so I will be going elsewhere to change my brakes. The positives I can mention are Rohan my salesman- he was knowledgable and really did do his best to help me and make things right when I was unhappy as well as Amanda in finance who I did deal with briefly when I considered financing a more expensive vehicle. I found her very honest and pleasant.

I can t say enough about the service and kind people at Gateway Toyota. This summer my 2007 Camry Hybrid required a significant amount of servicing to make it road worthy which came with an equally significant cost. Luckily, Gateway Toyota found a way to cost shared some of the parts with me so much to my relief, the final cost was quite a lot less than I had anticipated. The time and attention the Gateway staff took to help my situation made me feel I wasn t just a faceless number getting a service from a company that didn t care how their customer would be impacted. The Gateway staff helped to make my vehicle safe and actually cared about this, very thankful, customer.

Had our Toyota serviced for routine maintenance an...

Had our Toyota serviced for routine maintenance and an inspection done and will never ever return. It was as if they pray on a woman dealing with the service and rip you off. They "found" over $4300" worth of repairs that were critical according to them amd had my wife in a panic thinking it's time to buy a new car.
Well, after getting 2 other mechanic shops, including another dealership to look at the so-called "critical" repairs, it turns out majority of the things this dealership quoted where either still great working order or replaced 6 months ago by this same dealership. Ended up only paying $518 for the $4300 worth of repairs.
Either this dealership is hiring low grade mechanics to inspect vehicles or they are trying to take uneducated people to the cleaners.
DO NOT get your vehicle fixed or serviced here. After 10 years, we wont be.

Today, I took my 2017 Toyota Rav4 for its 1st schedule service maintenance at Gateway Toyota.

I was introduced to Bonnie as my service advisor and we did all the paper work associated with the service, I requested for a shuttle drop to my work. Everything was fine and dandy.

When I got back from the office I called Bonnie because I received a miss call from Gateway Toyota I thought it was Bonnie she said: No, was there a voicemail? and I said there was none that was my reply. I mentioned to Bonnie "If there any stone chip can you fill since it was a free service under GEM membership." She answered no problem.

A few hours later Bonnie call and said your car is ready, but we couldn't fill in the stone chip because there's a crack.

I was seriously in shock, because I always clean my windshield regardless the temperature and I would notice a crack instantly. When I drop it off there was no cracks I'm 100% sure about this.

But one of service advisors was insisting it was there and crack came from a stone chip because of the notes on pre-inspection. I told them I didn't ask for the stone chip to be fill until I was at the office and no one came to check my car when it arrive at service area. Unlike other Toyota dealership a porter inspects the cars dents, stretches and crack windshield.

The other service advisor was rude and she just felt that she wanted me out, saying we are not paying for my windshield because it s from a stone chip and the cold/hot changes. How come this didn t happen when we had -37 and I was using my heat to the max at 3rd speed blowing straight at the window

I had to left because I had other errands to do and arguing with someone with not authority is pointless.

I took a light and there no stone chip where it was supposed to be. There's a hard plastic under the base of the windshield even the rubber seal wasn t even damage.

Now the crack has now spread across to my A pillar.

*Update* I have spoken to a very kind and well-spoken Service Manager her name was Doris Blanchard after we have talk about the issue. We have reach an agreement that we were both happy on. Doris was concern about my experience with the service department specially it was my 1st time bring in my car. She really did a good job on changing my prospective about Gateway Toyota service department.

I had an ad on Kijiji to sell a car and Gateway Toyota messaged me to buy the car. I went down to the dealership to show them the car and they said they would not buy it because of the hail damage. The hail damage was clearly shown and stated in the ad. The used car manager was apologetic and blamed someone else for this error but they did waste my time.

I had a bad experience last week. I got a quote over the phone and booked an appointment to repair my car. When I got there, they give me another quote!! Which was double. They said the person who gave you the quite is new, Sorry.
So , I decided to buy the part from this location and go to my mechanic to change the part. I bought the shocks from Toyota Gateway and called my mechanic but he was busy, therefore, I asked ToyotaGateway to change the parts.
I had to fix my car because I already planned a trip to Vancouver. I could repair my car in a private shop for half if they gave me the right quote when I called them.
Another thing: When I got my reports I realized the report says that I declined 2 new services!!
I never declined these services! Always check your report.
When I was paying my bill, I told the cashier that I fid not declined anything. Even I asked the technician, call me if some repairments needed for the break. He called me but when?! When my car was ready!
I am so disappointed with this customer service.

My experience with Gateway Toyota Scion on October 15, 2014 was horrible. I am looking for a Toyota Yaris, did my research, found the best price in the city. Internet price was just under $15000 and when its time to settle on the price, the manger tells me that they made a mistake and the actual price is just under $20,000. Its a huge mistake don't you think. Anyway i said they should give me the car for the price from the internet. Treated me like crap and would not even have a decent conversation. Will never go to Gateway Toyota again and will tell everyone i know not to shop there. If you put a price on the internet the customer should be allowed to buy the product for that price. DONT SHOP HERE!!!!

When you are quoted a firm price, you ask for it in writing, it takes 4 days of chasing, and then finally when they put it in writing its gone up around $5k for the SAME vehicle, you know you are dealing a very poor quality company.....

Even without an appointment, they took my car in to have the service done that it needed. Graham took my information with speed and courtesy. I was offered a free shuttle ride home to Beaumont! The facilities are quite welcoming and if you choose to stay and wait, they have a bright waiting room with a television. Food and drink are available.

I drove into Gateway Toyotas Service Department and was created by Bonnie the service advisor. My corolla needed to be serviced and Bonnie explained what had to be done, when finished she asked if I needed a shuttle ride, she ten promted me to where the shuttle coordinator was. Taylor was very happy and helpful. Received a shuttle ride very fast! My shuttle driver was a real helpful gentleman. Thank you very much to the shuttle and service department. I will be recommending Gateway Toyota to everyone!!

Another great experience with Gateway. Jing, Kyle and of course Catlain were amazing every step of the way with purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership. The deliver was smooth and simple. The showroom was spotless and all the vehicles looked great. Walking around outside I couldn't believe the inventory of new and used, all cars were clean and very inviting to look at. Gateway has a customer for life. The 7 hour drive from BC was more than worth it.

The team at Gateway Toyota exceeded all of my expectations. Hector was very professional, knowledgeable and patient. Traits I was looking for during the purchase process of my new Tacoma. JP, the Finance Manager, was outstanding to deal with. He assessed my needs very well and we were able to pinpoint which additional packages I and my new Taco needed to ensure a long and enjoyable ownership. The delivery process went without a hitch as Paula also is very knowledgeable in the product. Paula was a delight to deal with and ended the whole experience with a high note. Went to another dealership here in Edmonton, Toyota on the Trail where the customer service was appalling. Decided I would try Gateway up on my entrance to the dealership probably less than 5 feet in I was greeted by by Bob he was an amazing salesman who allowed me the time to make an informed decision while not rushing me thru the process. Toyota on the Trail could learn a lot about customer service from Bob. Financing was painless and quick with Catalin he made it simple and stress free. He manage to drop my interest and get me a lower payment. The day I arrived to pick up the truck, Stephanie from delivery coordination was amazing. Her upbeat personality made this an enjoyable experience and she took the time to make sure I was very comfortable with all aspects of the my new Tundra. My entire experience with Gateway Toyota was amazing and I will be back for the next vehicle.

Got 9 free oil changes with my warranty. They tried to charge me a few times for oil changes but they were always refunded. Anyways got 8 for free but they refused the 9th.

Bought a $4K bumper to bumper warranty as well, one time a light came on through no fault of my own and they tried to charge me for that as well, place is horrible.

This was discussed in detail at your location, I'm not sure why I should have to call back to speak with the Manager now. It's pathetic that it takes a google review to get a polite response and your attention.

As a new driver,I know what I want and I know what I can afford,I went to Toyoto Gateway and Petro is the salesman, he very helpful and patient during the transaction.In less than 2 hours all I know is I am buying a car without shopping for more options.Petro makes me relax during my test drive even when I almost hit a car lol.I will recommend Petro and I was able to get a good price for my RAV4.

Looked at a vehicle in the showroom etc and agreed that s the model we wanted, price, etc. Made the mistake of getting all the extras, undercoating etc. Took awhile to get it shipped in but that was expected. When it arrived it wasn t the same model we had looked at, it was a model lower. Their answer was to offer the upgrade at full price. No apologies, no compensation.
None of the undercoating extras were done and couldn t be taken care of right away. It took weeks and several trips (coming from over an hour away) to get that taken care of.
It was exactly the experience you would expect from the stereotyped shifty car salesman.
They just don t care.
Won t be getting a Toyota again.

We attempted to contact the manager at that time but got no response or call backs. No one there had any interest once the contract was signed and you had our money. The sheer apathy received from the salesman and the person answering the phones was unbelievable. What are you going to do now that it s after the fact? Try to win us over with some sly salesman speech hoping we ll retract the review, maybe give your salesman thats been there for years a stern talking to?

I would like to personally recommend Abeer as he was actually very genuine and helpful during our process in buying a brand new Camry. I don't normally publish reviews for dealerships but he went above and beyond in helping us (personally washing off the car because it was dirty from the rain, filling up the tank to full before we took it home, and being overall accommodating and patient when we asked many questions).

After a bad experience with another dealership where they kept lying and pushing high-pressure tactics on us, we were a bit distraught and had low expectations of other places. At Gateway, we were not pressured with any add-ons and I highly appreciate that very much. At the end of the day, I am happy that Abeer was the one that we gave our business to. Thank you very much again for helping us!

As a new car owner I was very concerned when my check engine light went on as well as another warning light. I called Gateway Toyota right away and they were able to take a look at my car right as I drove into their maintenance bay. Cole Schulz was able to let me know what was wrong and fix the problem in less than an hour. The service was amazing and made me feel like they cared about helping me understand what went wrong. Best Toyota service in Edmonton!
