I have been buying from Gale Toyota for 30 years. We have bought around 20 cars. Always a great buying experience. They always have beaten every other dealers prices.Just bought last year a new Highlander and a 2 year old Rav 4. Very pleased and happy.
The best part about Gale is the service dept. Always there for me. Just had a complex program with bluetooth, and Bill the head mechanic was fantastic in helping my daughter.
5 stars to the following in the service dept:
Richie Golden service manager,Scott , MaryJane and Janelle. It's not about the sale... It is about this great service dept. They treat me as I if I bought a $100,000 Bentley.

Spoke to Samantha in their Internet Department regarding a New Toyota. Super professional and courteous in talks with her, can't say enough. We ended up getting the car of our choice at another dealer only because they had the exact one we wanted, which Samantha mentioned she could get for me as well, but sometimes seeing and driving the exact car we wanted in person is preferred. Their pricing was super aggressive and we actually paid more at the other dealership to get the car we wanted. Will definitely be sending her any friends/family that are interested in a car and will reach out to her once my lease on this one is finished regarding our next vehicle.

One of the best car salesman you can go to at this Toyota location. I would recommend everyone to go see him, for a new or used car. I always had a family experience with this dealership, specially with Craig B. He will always check on you even after leaving the dealership with the car.

Absolutely the worst dealership to go too!! Nasty customer service. We met with Anthony, he is very unprofessional, stayed there for more than 2 hours we ended up canceling the whole process of buying the car. Definitely there was lots of lack of communication, would tell us something and later on something different. Will definitely never go back to this place again. This place needs to train their staff more. Ridiculous!!

I went to Gale Toyota to get my four brake pads do...

I went to Gale Toyota to get my four brake pads done. They charged me $620 to do just the two back brakes and said it would cost an extra $345 to do the front. I did the job thinking it was at a fair price, however, other Toyota dealers charge $435 to get all four brakes done. Please please please do not go to Gale Toyota for any job. They will over charge you because business is slow for them. To make matters worst, I called them to ask for an explanation because other Toyota dealers charge significantly less and the lady at the service center when I called around 1pm on Saturday on June 10th, 2017, said "so what do you want us to do about it?".
All the other reviews seem to be fake reviews by this Toyota dealership.
I have a receipt to prove it.

Rotors and pads are about $20-$35 at any car store.
Two people were working on two wheels, meaning one person for one wheel and they charged me 252.00 for labor. Rip Off!! The person that checked me out after working on my vehicle smelled like pot and when I told him the prices seemed unfair, he said it's cheaper than other places. They will take advantage of you here if you're not knowledgeable about cars.
I will be reporting Gale Toyota to Toyota headquarters as well as the BBB for taking advantage of my lack of knowledge in vehicles. Even a mechanic at this specific location (I will not mention their name) told me I should have went to a local mechanic and fixed it for more than 50% off what I paid here.

Went to get wiper blade inserts and battery for remote in key. Parts department put battery in key and said they don't carry inserts for wipers. Went home and remote didn't work. Went to Target to see if battery was the problem. Got battery 4 half the price and it worked. Later same day went back to dealership to return battery. Parts dept gave invoice for amount, then had to go to cashier. When i got there they said they don't give refunds in cash, has to be a check mail to you. Clerk went back to get manager who after 10 minutes came out and said " since it is the same day I will give you the refund, else you would be getting a check mailed to you". All this for a $6.20 battery that i got two of at Target for the same price. Had to go to Lynch Toyota who carries the inserts.

I honestly wouldn't want to give them a whole star yes they got me into a new car greatly appreciated however I have had more issues with the rude sale manager than I think it has been worth. They messed up my contact so it was recanted and I'm currently waiting for a new contract to be drawn up a whole calendar week later still have no state plates still cant do the things I need to do because they are dropping the ball on their end. I'm less than impressed with the ability to do there jobs and even more disappointed and disrespected with being told by the sales manager that "he'll get the new contract drawn up and then I can be done with them" that is not professional at all and seeing how I'd planned on being a returning customer that will not be the case in the future! I'll take my business elsewhere where I am not treated like some kind of gum on the bottom of a shoe.

We started researching Toyota Tacoma s in late January. Then the virus hit. This provide a lot of time to shop and compare. We finally set up a test drive at Gale Toyota in Enfield CT. This is when we first met Bob Kittel, he couldn t have been more pleasant, and this was just a hello and a test drive. My plan was to shop some more at a few dealers in the area. This was on a Saturday, after thinking about it Sunday on Monday I called Bob and we started the process. By the end of the week we drove away in a 2020 Tacoma. My wife and I couldn t have been happier with how we were helped and educated throughout the discussions with Bob. It has been a week now and a couple hundred miles and I will go out of my way to recommend Gale to anyone interested in buying a Toyota, and I would also be recommending Bob as a point of contact at the dealership. You won t go wrong.

I was looking for something to change for better gas milage, but I'm not in any kind of a hurry and was advised not to get a pertictular truck at CarMax and after thinking about what the offer was Gale toy we're right about the value being not in my favor. Gale Toyota will find me something worth my while and value. Family is at best, a great place to hang out with my friends.

I came here for my first car leasing experience! I went in nervous, hearing a lot of horror stories about car dealerships in general. When we got there we looked at some cars and were approached by a salesmen, who told us to let him know if we had any questions and didn't put any pressure on us to choose a car. Once we decided on the car, we went inside to deal with the financial end of things. I ended up being approved and got an amazing deal on a 2016 Corolla! They made the process simple, fast, easy, and STRESS FREE! Thanks to the awesome staff (my salesmen was Pat Filiault ) I was able to get an amazing car! I highly recommend coming here for any car buying/leasing, especially if you're looking for a place who doesn't pressure you, haggle you, or make you wheel and deal just to get a car.

My experiences with the sales team for the 2 vehicles I leased and purchased were both high pressure. I was bounced between sales reps and the sales manager with heavy pressure to make same day purchases. On many occasions, the service department provided misleading information or did not provide any explanation of services rendered (which is a standard question on their followup surveys). Many times I was left waiting for extended periods of time only to find out when I called for an update that my car's service had been finished hours prior and no one bothered to call me. If you don't do your research beforehand and prepare to be a firm negotiator, you will certainly be taken for a ride.

This review is for the parts department. I have been ordering parts for years from many different manufacturer's, In multiple different types of businesses. Since I started to order parts with Gale I have mainly worked with Joe. I can honestly say that Joe is one of the best you will find when it comes to ordering parts. I have dealt with many many people when ordering parts from all over the country and Joe is just fantastic at what he does. The entire parts dept over there have been awesome when I haven't dealt with Joe. They absolutely deserve the recognition also. Keep up the great work fellas. I sincerely appreciate you guys over there in the parts dept. If you need Toyota parts do not hesitate giving Gale a call!

I just picked up my new Toyota Rav 4 Limited and am totally in love with it. My sales representative, Michael Mercier, was extremely helpful guiding me through the leasing process, finding a car in the color that I wanted and showing me all of the features. This is the second car that I have gotten from Gale Toyota and Michael and I would definitely recommend them to help with your car needs.

They lie about what has been done or what needs to be done on usee cars they are selling. For example they have a 2016 prius on their lot with 127000 miles and claim it doesn't need sparkplugs when the maintenance manual and any decent mechanic will tell you it does need sparklugs at 120000 miles and that's usually a 400 dollar repair... trying to rip off a veteran grandpa shame on you

Usually pretty decent experience with recalls. Yet latest experience was extremely poor. Specifically a dead battery when my wife came to pickup our vehicle that had a recall completed the day before by Gale Toyota. (This is a 2012 vehicle with regular maintenance done to it that had no problem starting in colder weather leading up to recall). instead of addressing issue they simply gave my wife a jump and sent her on her way. Sure enough at next stop at costco - car would not start. Initial service rep I spoke to after hearing about the initial jump told me that we put car into accessory mode during the recall, combined with cold night could have caused issue - When calling back after hearing that car doesnt start anymore - and asking them to send someone (my wife was closeby at costco) - to at least give her a jump again - was told they cant send anyone, after escalating to sales manager (service manager was out) was fed a bunch of excuses of how this is not their fault and your wife could have left the lights on while shopping . At this point naturally I got a little upset - and told them that I would prefer to have them do the right thing - yet if they do not we will get a tow ourselves and then they will receive a demand letter from attorney to reimburse us. To which the sales manager acted extremely unprofessionally, getting disrespectful, as well as stating that he wont let anyone threaten him, how conversation was over etc. Finally after he calmed down when I asked him how it would make him feel if this happened to his wife - he said they would try to help and he would call me back which he did after a few minutes - (in the meantime my wife was able to get a jump from costco tire service) as I was attempting to tell the sales manager on his return call that i appreciate him trying to turn this around and do the right thing - he rudely interrupted me, accused me of mistreating his employees (claiming he listened to their tapes ) - and proceeded to tell me to find another dealership to work with. Amazing how they think that it is a good idea to 1) send my wife on her way with just a jump in 15 degree weather 2) to think that customer service is man handling your customers and try to assert some type of superiority (instead of de-escalating a clearly upset husband that has his wife stranded with a dead battery after Gale Toyota performed a recall) 3) to conclude all of this by adding insult to injury when I was about to complement them on attempting to do the right thing - to imply they do not want customers such as us at their dealership. Wow. No worries Gale Toyota - we hear you loud and clear - we will take our business to Balise Toyota who from what we hear understands customer service - and will get our car purchases in the future as well as friends and family referrals. #FailedCustomerService

UPDATE 2/22/19
Service Manager reached out, apologized and went out of his way to make this right. Very glad that they took ownership of the issue at least after the fact. Service manager replaced the battery and personally apologized to my wife. Sales manager however made no attempt at all to make this right. So 4.5 stars for service, 1 star for sales. Average 3 stars.

I recently moved to CT a year ago and needed to find a reputable dealership to get work done on my car because I have always gone to a Toyota dealership. The one in Manchester is definitely more convenient location-wise, but doesn't compare to the services that that Gale Toyota in Enfield provides. The service department is exceptional, and outshines the service department that I experienced in the Manchester location by far. Rich Golden in particular took excellent care of me. My most recent trip was to get my airbags replaced due to a recall, they got me right in and worked with my work schedule being very accommodating; which was more than I have experienced elsewhere. Needless to say although Gale Toyota in Enfield is a 40 minute drive for me compared to the 20 minute drive to the Manchester Toyota location; I will gladly make the longer drive from now on because the service department made the difference for me.

Gale Toyota has by far become my favorite dealership. The staff in both the Sales and Service Departments are friendly and very knowledgeable.
Mike Mercier in particular is a remarkable Salesperson, he is attentive to his customers' needs, and dedicates the time necessary to make the deal a smooth and pleasant experience.. A true professional that I would highly recommend without hesitation.

I found a two year old Highlander XLE at Gale that was in terrific condition.
Chelsea, the saleslady who worked with me, was very helpful and really knew the product line and the features of the Highlander and pointed out some of other items that I wasn't aware of.
The entire sales staff was very clear on the buying process and explained everything as the deal progressed. In all, it was a very pleasant, no pressure and very comfortable buying experience.

Horrible dealership. Took my car in for an oil change and to change my windshield wipers. Appointment was at 8:30am and I didn't leave until 10:30am. Once my vehicle was complete, I checked to see if my wipers were changed and of course the back one wasn't but they charged me for it. Never will I go here again!

Why, other than greed, would a dealership where I bought my car 3 years ago try to sell me a cabin air filter for my 2018 RAV for $55, when the filter retail cost is only $5, and probably $2 or less wholesale (their cost)? I declined the service department's offer and bought a new filter for $5 and my husband installed it in 20 seconds. That's quite a swindle, Gale Toyota. Not ethical to whitewash your own customers. P.S.) Service department reported that the cabin filter had been eaten by mice. Not surprised to discover, when my husband removed the filter, that there was absolutely NO MICE DAMAGE at all. Not a trace. Crooks. What a disgrace.

Wanting to buy a brand new car with only six months of credit, Mike M sat my wife and I down endlessly searching for the perfect deal. A year later I am comparing the deal that Mike got us for our Scion Tc with any other brand new car and it cannot be beat. Without Mike we would not have known the direction of which to go and not have found the perfect lease. In addition the services that we get a few times a year are great, we know if we need any assistance that Mike and the rest of the Game Toyota team are always on it.

Who enjoys going to any dealership? You're guaranteed to be lied to and mislead throughout your visit. I don't know how people can do this for a living and sleep well at night. This place is no different. I did find a car I'm happy with. Toyota quality is hard to beat. That's the best thing this place has going for them. Know what you're looking for before you go in, and use your own bank if you can. It's better to know what you'll really be paying. Your bank will explain this stuff better than the dealership. Also, keep good records of your service visits. The service clerk was arguing with me over an oil change schedule. He was wrong. And don't get excited about "free maintenance for a year". It boils down to three visits, two tire rotations and one oil change.

I bought my Prius here, but I don't recommend them at all. I went to get my oil changed last weekend. I was quoted $53 over the phone. When I showed up for my appointment I was told the cost would be $89.

The woman working refused to honor the quoted price. Apparently I was expected to pay close to twice what was quoted to me. Then she started to tell me I must have misunderstood the person who made my appointment or I didn't specify synthetic oil. I did.

This is what's called a bait and switch. It's completely underhanded and shows a lack of integrity of this dealership.

Go somewhere else. There are plenty of Toyota dealerships out there. Maybe they have better customer service skills.

I will not purchase my next car here. I will tell all my friends to go elsewhere. Nor will I ever bring my car here for service. I'll take my money to a place that honors it's quotes.

I leased a 2016 Toyota Rav4 in May 2016 & a 2013 Toyota Corolla S in February this year from Michael Mercier at Gale Toyota. I have purchased four vehicles through Mr. Mercier over the last few years at gale Toyota. He was very accomodating and enables me to find a vehicle that best suited my needs with a family. The vehicle has good gas mileage and it is highly efficient. I would recommend going back to the sales associate for my next purchase. I was in for service yesterday July 27th 2016 for my 2013 Corolla S & the waiting area was air conditioned & clean.

I worked with my salesman Robert Kittell and they were able to locate me a hard to find 2015 Toyota Tacoma Pro model. I was offered the most for my trade in than any other dealership in the area. They maybe a small dealership compared to others, but they will work hard for your business. I would definitely recommend Gale Toyota to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. Before I left with my new truck I was introduced to the service manager and they made a date for my first oil change service..

One star is 100% accurate.

One star is 100% accurate.

First off I'm not shy about saying I had a trade in. But being asked how much I owe before they even look at it is a big problem. And when I asked why that matters "it just does, it makes a differance". No it doesn't just please tell me how much my car is worth to you. I can then decide if I want to continue on with a purchase. Then say "so this is how it's going to go".

Second "what do you want your monthly payments to be". I'm sorry but I just want to know what I'm paying for the vehicle NOT how much it is going to cost me monthly. That can be determined based on terms in financing.

Ok now we can get into why I gave one star. After negotiating the trade in and purchase price, which I agreed with we get into financing. It's the Friday before memorial day and after 5pm so when I was told the couldn't do anything financially till Tuesday after the holiday I understood. They had put a 5.9 interest rate on the paperwork as "worst case" and on Tuesday we could get a better rate. Well Tuesday came and low and behold 5.9 was the best they could offer. I had left a deposit so I said I would do my own financing with a local bank. They agreed, on Thursday my bank requested all the paperwork. It was sent on Friday in such poor quality the bank had to request it again. The second time it was sent with missing information, the sale price and sales tax were left off?, finally attempt 3 it was ok. The problem was it took so long to do this it was now Saturday.. on Saturday I got a call. My bank was closed but they were able to get me a great new rate. The same 3.75 my bank offered me. I said no thanks i was all set, and I stuck with my bank. So 8 days after I left a deposit they found a great rate that my bank already offered me.

So I waited till Monday for my bank, I finished the loan and brought a check to by my vehicle.
Oh and I forgot they lied my bank was open Saturday to finish the loan. Finally 12 days after leaving a deposit I was driving away! It doesn't end there. After signing all the paperwork i asked if they could mail me my registration so i didn't have to make the 45 minute drive back, they agreed that was ok.

On Wednesday i asked if my registration was in, which i was told it was my sales day off so i would have to wait and find out. Thursday i was told it was done and going in the mail. Waited Friday and Saturday and i didn't get it. I asked Monday where it was with the explanation that they were to busy to put it in the mail, and if I wanted i could go pick it up. On week after driving away i still had no registration in my vehicle. I now am left with one day to get a inspection sticker by mass law.

Now why they get one star. After calling the manager and letting him know of my disappointment, he did have my salesperson drive my registration to me and my work. So 19 days after leaving a deposit I finally had a vehicle with a loan and a registration to go with it.
So thanks gale Toyota for driving me my registration, you do deserve one star.

Overall I left Gale Toyota extremely happy with the purchase of my Rav 4 this weekend. I will say there was a bit of a mix up in the beginning. David was the salesman I was working with and he was fantastic! I had been to at least 6 other dealerships prior to Gale and he was by far the best salesperson I met. He wasn't pushy and really seemed to care about me getting the best car at a good price. However right as I was about to buy the car, I found out it had just been sold to someone (this was in no way David's fault). I was pretty upset about this since it was a great car but Justin, one of the managers, went above and beyond to get me a fantastic deal on (to be quite honest) an even better car (newer year, less mileage, etc).

Overall I am extremely happy with my Rav 4 and will be returning to Gale Toyota for future purchases. Be sure to ask for David!

I got what I wanted for my trade and they honored their offer sight unseen. Service dept has always been great as well, no pushy tactics to bamboozle you into unnecessary services.

Asked about the Toyota Supra about doing a possibl...

Asked about the Toyota Supra about doing a possible test drive and was told no. Sales rep accused me of being a "young kid just going to beat up the car and just go for a joy ride". Sales rep back tracked when I walked to my car. Will be taking future purchase back to another car dealer. Guess sales rep like to judge a book by its cover by being a "younger buyer".

I didn't even feel like I was buying a car, that's how smooth everything was. Walked in to look at one vehicle and walked out about 2 hours later with a new vehicle. The salesman was very patient and helpful, no pressure and no pushiness. I highly recommend this place if you're in the market for a vehicle.
