FLS is amazing!!! And, honestly, it can be very overwhelming. Be sure to get a map on your way in if you haven't been. Initially, we were a little annoyed by the lack of acknowledgement upon our arrival as we had NO idea how to navigate the place... Then we were thrilled when Jackie P & David K found us! They were very easy to work with. They both had a nice way of inserting there expert thoughts as we made furniture decisions-- all the while we never felt pressured! Be sure to find these two very expert and personable.

This is a big company so our expectations for customer issues were low. But Furniture Land South went above and beyond. We had an "issue" which we let them know about it. They responded with surprising speed and made a very fair and reasonable adjustment.
They can add us to the "loyal" customers list.
We visited FLS again after 20 years. It was a great experience in the past and it was even better this time. Our Design consultant - Keri Anderson at FLS, was super awesome in helping us make our selections based on our requirements and style to match our existing furniture and our home. She was extremely responsive and very informative of each product line FLS carries. Also, based on the pictures and room dimensions we sent to her, Keri personalized each product to fit each room with several visual layouts.
Keri reserved her time just for us during our visit to FLS. Because of Keri, we felt very confident about our purchase at FLS, its products and post purchase product protection, etc.

We visited twice and both times the experience was great. Our first trip to was to browse and take it all in. The second trip was to make our selection. Not at any time did we feel pressured. Staff was friendly and very helpful with manufacturing information as well as style and design. Wear good shoes because there are lots of rooms to visit. They have a nice campus with a Subway and Starbucks. Our associate was Shelby and she was nothing but helpful.
I had a wonderful experienc at Furnitureland South. I found and purchased my couch within 2 days of finding. My sales person made it very easy to purchase. My only stumbling block is when I returned the next day my person wasn't there. The others acted like they didn't know what to or wanted to help, given there were at least 4 people in the lobby. This was at the outlet! One guy finally approached and said, "it's doesn't matter if it's Linda, Tom or Sue, you just want to buy a couch. I said, "no, I don't work like that!" That was one sales strategy I was surprised to hear in Furnitureland South. Finally, one salesperson in the elevator asked had we been helped. She remember me from the previous night and advised that my salesperson had a team member who could assist. Jacqueline helped and did not try to still the same from Emily. Who wrapped it up and put a bow on it! Now, I'm waiting on a call from delivery! Hopefully, my experience will go just as well with them. I'm so excited to see my couch in it'a new home. It's been 16 years since I've had a new one!

I had some scratches on my furniture from the manufacturer. I had worked with Diane Eppley to resolve the issue. She was very helpful and her timely feedback was outstanding. I highly recommend her if you a looking to resolve you problem in a timely, professional manner and fair manner.

I contacted Furnitureland South on July 15,2020 because I want to purchase a sleeper sofa. I sent photographs of my home/room so the designer could get an idea of my style and colors. Fabric swatches were sent to me. My last correspondence with the designer I was working with was on July 23, 2020 in which she indicated she would research different lines for my space requirements. I never heard back from her. So, on August 11, 2020 I called the sales department asking for someone who might follow through with me. I was told another designer would call me to get the ball rolling again. It has been 4 days and I have yet to have anyone contact me. Their customer service for clients who depend on telephone sales (I live in NYS) is very unprofessional and lacking. I will take my business elsewhere as they obviously do not care about it.
UPDATE 9/8/20: Subsequent to my unfavorable review, I was contacted by Matt to see if he could be of assistance and apologized for the lack of service from the prior salesperson. Matt was responsive, efficient, knowledgeable and professional. His follow up made me feel like a valued customer and I am happy to report that I placed an order today for a sleeper sofa.

I ordered quite a few pieces for a new home in Florida and most of everything I purchased was just as I thought it would be. Two small issues are being taken care of at this posting. Their customer service is top notch. If you do your research and window shopping you can save a bundle! Go for it people!!

We bought a bedroom set, Couch and loveseat in june of 2016. We saw the bedroom set in the outlet store but it was sold. Our sales lady said she was able to get the bedroom set for the same price. (Should've been a red flag since it came from the outlet but we were excited) We get the phone call to pay for the order for delivery, but it was just the couch and loveseat. Well come to find out our bedroom set was on backordrr until October of 2016. We decided to stay with it since we couldn't move into our house until September. We call back in august to add the delivery date and it was put on back order until November. Not once were we ever informed it was on backorder. Not even when we ordered it. So delivery day comes for the bedroom set and we are missing the chest. Come to find out they never ordered the chest. The customer service was horrible throughout this whole process. They always called the wrong number (aka our parents) even though we have given our number multiple times. We were also supposed to receive a Wells Fargo rebate. We call last week staying we have not received it. The sales lady called of course the wrong number again and says sorry there is no rebate anymore. This was one of the worst customer service experience we have never had. We will never refer anyone here.
If you are planning on shopping at Furnitureland, ask for Mary Beth Husky. She is amazing! Her customer service is outstanding! It s hard to navigate through all of the choices that Furnitureland offers, but she takes the time to guide her clients to all of the right places. She takes your budget into consideration and helps you find the perfect pieces that will make you happy with the look and price of the furniture you bring into your home.
Everyone at Furnitureland South is professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I had made an appointment with Jolean (an amazing designer), and she set aside 2 days for us to select several rooms of furniture. She was prepared and organized, and very in tune with my likes and the style I was seeking for our new 200 year old home. I can t wait to see the finished project!

Ordered 2 bed sets in Nov 2019. The estimated delivery time was mentioned as 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I happened to know that one of the item is not ready and it will take another 6 weeks to deliver. I patiently waited and items got delivered after 12 weeks. While delivery the technicians realized that the part required to fit the mirror over the dresser was not with them. After repeated follow ups they shipped the part to my home and assigned the task to a furniture repair third party. I took off from work to be present when the furniture repair person was scheduled to come. He came in but didn t have enough tools to do the task. Later another appointment was scheduled. Today I got it done.
Precisely took 4 months for a furniture installation. This is my worst furniture purchase in my lifetime.

I must say all of the people I interacted with at Furnitureland were just outstanding. From sales (Gerald) to everyone who helped pack and load (particularly Preston and Conner ) were extremely helpful and nice to deal with. Gerald in particular didn t only sell me the furniture that we needed (helping find the right pieces) but got involved in even helping to load the items to our truck, way beyond his job duties and even our expectations. It s rare you find a salesman who actually cares about his/her client beyond the sale. Seek him out, he is a TOP guy who is honest, courteous and more than anything else a really good person.
My sales person, Anne Harris, was excellent to work with. She answered all of my questions and gave me good advise.

We bought a Furniture that damaged within 2 months of purchase. The Salesman made us buy the warranty and it does not work.
We Asked for a generous help to get cover teh damage but Furniture Land South Manager who was very inconsiderate raiswd Her hands and so did the warranty people.
It hurts to the point that A business with such reputation would provide so cheap customer service and the Manage has no respect or reputation for self.
If Any higher authority from Furnitureland South reads this please do not hurt people s feelings. We come to buy something from you that brings joy and happiness to our house.

I started my search for an entertainment center with curio cabinets by online chat with Hunter. He was very helpful searching for just what I wanted. He found the right style and color wood, and I simply placed the order! I had dreaded walking the huge expanse of the store, and I didn't have to! Now just have to wait for it to come in.
This is my first experience at furnitureland south. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a sales person (Astria). She stayed with us through the whole store. She was friendly and pleasant. Showed us around so we would not get lost. There is a massive selection at this store. Without assistance we would never have found our way around. Even though I did not find what I was looking for she did not try to talk me into buying something Judy for the sale. I did end up buying a different item then what I was originally looking for. Over all a very nice experience.
We had an excellent experience at Furnitureland South Our personal assistant, Jason Campbell was extremely helpful! He was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. He listened attentively and fully understood exactly what we were looking for. He never rushed us, even when it was 2 hours after closing and we were still making final decisions. The selection was amazing. They have absolutely every style you could want. Having Jason to help us navigate the gigantic store was a blessing. Furnitureland South is the only place to go for furniture in NC.
We came to Furnitureland South in search of new furniture after Hurricane Florence rained in our house for days. We hadn't planned on having to buy new furniture at this point in our lives and weren't excited about shopping. We were fortunate to meet Tanya Barnes when we walked into the store. Huge store, organized in sensible sections so you can go directly to what you are looking for. Lots of choices! Salespeople allow you all the time you need to browse on your own without bugging you, but are then available when you have questions or are ready to purchase.
Kate Joy is a superstar- she came totally prepared for the visit. She knew her furniture lines very well, I was able to make decisions, get a quote and finalize my order very efficiently. She was able to describe the differences in my potential choices to help guide my decision.
The only downside of my visit was I was surprised the people at the information desk did NOT wear masks and there were a number of other people there without masks. NC is continuing to break records for pts hospitalized with COVID 19- we need everyone s help to reduce its spread.

Michelle Taylor our design consultant was knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us to create our space. My only disappointment was Furnitureland is lacking in a variety of living room tables so much so We could not find any to go with our new living room that we liked. We purchased a custom couch 2 chairs and a beautiful rug.

Furnitureland South eliminated the stress by providing a knowledgeable consultant to guide us through the process .There was no pressure to rush into a decision that we might later regret. Choices were many and the prices of each piece were displayed. In a short time we made our decisions and were on our way home having purchased everything on our wish list.
Furniture Land South is the only place to call when you need furniture! Anything you see in ads or TV...Call FLS first!!! The couch I bought was on Wayfair and other sites. I got it for $600-$1000 less than all the other sites just by calling FLS and giving them the details. It's totally worth the phone call!

Such a large furniture store than if you don't go in with an idea of what you are looking for you should give yourself plenty of time to look around...it is practically an amusement park of furniture. Although I did have a bit of trouble finding someone to assist me once I made my choice, once I had someone helping me they were amazing. I highly recommend visiting. If you have mobility issues they do have elevators. I'm in a wheelchair and some of the floors were tricky but doable (sometimes with assistance)
