There is a lot going on at El Rastro market however there isn't very much you would actually want to buy. The crowds make it impossible to enjoy the market I would say that it more a place you would want to go if you were looking for a specific item rather than a place to browse.
Nice market on a sunday, stay out or get crowded there. Nice sailors but they are keen to set things up. Take care if there are a lot of people easy to lose things for pickpockets. You will find everything of what you wish for. The symbol of Madrid
The most famous street fair in Madrid, selling everything from electronics to clothes, including good quality thrift store. Unmissable.
It is a huge market from the used is not, and much visited, both of tourists, as of people from the place, you can find a bit too much.
Ideal for finding things you always missed. Of course, we must explore the different positions
Due to the pandemic, some stores opened and their return has been politicized, unfortunate ...
Amazing place mixture of rubbish and some great antiques
Never disappoints, you can find anything you can imagine (even those that can not afford) at unbeatable prices. Furthermore the atmosphere is great diversity of cultures and good vibes .. You can not go without eating the sandwich typical of squid in the main square, the touch to a perfect day.
Quite sad on a Sunday to see everything closed nothing more than open stores
Everything you are looking for you will find. With haggling.
I've been going for years and I don't get tired.
It is typical of MADRID and you can find the most difficult things.
Before I frequented it almost every Sunday, it is a pass.
Being in Madrid and not going to the trail, is not being in Madrid.
I love you have to buy everything new and old and the bars great too
I love the trail, a place where you can get lost in its streets full of stalls of all kinds and taverns where you can have snacks. A great plan for Sundays in Madrid ..
Crowded but fun!! Afordable prices & authentic! Quite a lot of police about - Do they know something we dont??
Beautiful fair with everything to sell ... Everything!
Fantastic, what you can not find there do not look elsewhere.
Go early because it gets really busy. By 11 the streets are packed. The main street is mostly hipster arts and crafts. The side streets are where the real gems are found.
Awesome, massive area, extremely busy.. Most stalls offer similar products, beware of knockoffs.. Pick pockets operate in the area, plenty of places to eat at.
Early in the morning a lot of people people, impossible to walk, after midday it's a lot better.
It's worth a ride but there really so many people, go there first morning in the summer because it's cooler
Unmissable
Find everything
All nice and ready to give you directions to help you purchase
Not to be missed
One of the most typical pereo things more entertaining, varied and interesting that you can do in the city. If you don't find something on the trail, it doesn't exist.
Discreetly varied, many items, not always approved to the standards of European capitals. The shops of young local artists are very interesting, especially painters, who have exposure in the side crosspieces and the many very original furnishing shops of various kinds. To visit the district with many traditional places.
Buena zona para encontrar cacharros que en otros lugares no encontraras.
Mira y rebusca, que seguramente encontraras lo que buscabas.
Indispensable for tourists. Typical for Madrid people. Before 5 because everything was cool and you found cheap things, animals and things you didn't even know existed. Now with the Internet you find more expensive market things than the Internet. Of course, what I love about the trail is the people who sell antiques of all ages in those steep and ancient streets surrounded by old shops, in which you may find a treasure and bargain over it. There is an area near the Puerta de Toledo in which children and non-children exchange their cards with the same illusion that I used to make it was a child ... Come on, if you come to Madrid on a Sunday there is no wind, rain, sun or any excuse for you that you should not come ...
Fantastic place buzzing and trendy, something for everyone on Sunday's
Either they improve security or this emblematic site in Madrid will last 2 news.
We enjoyed the area with the antique shops the most. There was a lot of mass produced, cheap souvenirs, but the atmosphere was really nice all in all. There was a lot of people, but they weren't pushy. Everybody took their time to get around.
Typical Madrid fair that takes place on Sundays in the La Latina neighborhood. You can buy handmade items, silverware and second-hand things. A place that you can not miss if you are in Madrid on a Sunday. It is usually full of people and you must go patiently. The plan is completed with tapas in the neighborhood.
Site recommended to visit on occasion, and to be able to enjoy its stands with countless different products and the gastronomy of the premises that are around it. It is usually overcrowded, so if the bustle bothers you and having to scrub you with strangers, it is not your place! You can visit it every Sunday of the year!
Very large flea market. You have to spend a lot of time to see everything and find some interesting things. And there are a lot of people. It's a bit of a crowd in every street in the market. Especially since the streets are steep for most!
Good place to spend a Sunday and find something peculiar curiosities without having to move much.
No people. The next. We must be patient. There are shops on the sides of the street.
Too full. And it's untrue that ALL OF THE MERCHANDISE is handmade. Only a handful are and they actually put a sign saying so. Most things are expensive, it is a tourist trap.
But if you look well and deep enough, you can get some nice things.
And don't forget to visit the antiques!!! THEY'RE A MUST!
There are not many offers. Very touristy, full of people, expensive clothes to be a market.
Good experience of a Madrid that is not in the tourist.
This is a must in Madrid if you like antiques. Visit "Le Secret". An amazing antiques dealer with stunning stuff
A charming place to entertain and spend Sunday morning. If you like antique dealers and old things and want to give them a follow-up, this is your place.
Every shop almost sells the same - experienced travelers beware, less experienced travelers go and enjoy it, it s pretty big
Wonderful place to get lost for shopping full of traditional tradition.
Must go visit if you are in Madrid on a Sunday. You find all kinds of things
Immense market where every Sunday you can find from vintage articles to 'clothing of everything and more an infinity of objects at reasonable prices certainly deserves to be visited
Great out door markets surrounded by many cafes. Antiques, clothes, jewelry, odds and ends. Great place to shop for cheap prices.
Ideal to spend on Sunday and you should not miss the bravas accompanied by a good beer
If you want to see a trail, go to Madrid, you have everything, you can take a quiet walk looking at their posts and find what you're not looking for, a typical place in Madrid.
Here are very picturesque streets of Madrid, nice to wander around. The market is interesting, there are a lot of street musicians. In addition, you can buy cheap souvenirs to relatives and friends.
Excellent, it is the first time I go and it has seemed phenomenal, the bad thing is that the campaigns are not in order because they should order by articles.
With care of the bag, whenever we can and makes a good type it is a good plan to go to the trail to spend Sunday. Street music, many stalls, places to drink and eat tapas
The best in Madrid. Not to say otherwise. From Madrid to the sky !!!
Wow, if you look for a leather bag here, unfortunately you can't bargain.
Flea market. You can find old things (comic books, watches, lamps, bikes, furniture, paintings...) and brand new (glasses, t-shirts, bags, souvenirs...). Be aware of scammers. Very crowded during the 'opening hours'. Many local bars, where you can grab something to eat (e.g. typical sandwich with calamari). DO NOT FORGET COMFORTABLE SHOES - up and down hill walking.
Good market, there are lots of interesting and unique items, ARRIVE EARLY, CROWDED AF
This is one of the musts for visitors coming to Madrid. It is a marketplace that allows you to find all kinds of items from old antiques to somewhat new rare items.
What can I say about our beloved Madrid trail .... Important visit if you come, you clearly have to be careful with your belongings, but as in any market / trail or important city.
You can buy from stickers to furnish your home with different styles.
Good place to enjoy a Sunday with friends, family, alone, etc, etc ...
Important to indicate if you can go by public transport since parking is very complicated.
Essential place if you visit Madrid. You have to get lost in all the streets full of antique dealerships and old almonedas. The weekend becomes a street exhibition of junk and old things with all its charm of yesteryear. Very friendly sellers (in general) and a good collection of old objects at affordable prices. Totally recommended.
Just an average market with staff from AliExpress. Something you can find anywhere in the world. I would not call it a flea market.
Coolest area in Madrid. Come.for a stroll and a bargain.
Grab variety of products. A mandatory walk on Sunday mornings in Madrid.
You have everything you can imagine, from clothes for one euro, to food through all kinds of antiques and collector's items.
Kilometers and kilometers of object stands on the streets of Madrid. Central and good option to spend Sunday.
I like the variety of things that can be bought at low prices.
Sad not to see the stalls yet that I was going to the antique stores. It is always nice to see beautiful things. Now it is delicious without people but many have had to close
It has always been the best ride for a Sunday morning. Culture, opportunities, and snacks.
A pity that they are disappearing positions of all the life especially the one of the knives and utensils for the house .... But still it is history
Nice, bonde, beware of the spades pocket. We find all kinds of cheap clothes
You find everything and for all tastes and good prices
For those who like to find everything and MORE !!!! To visit absolutely ..... from 10 to 12 ... is a little less crowded and tastes MORE
The Madrid trail is a place where all kinds of articles are traded, new or second-hand, modern and old merge into an environment and a unique location for visitors
Ideal to spend Sunday morning. Of course, with a lot of patience because there are always a lot of people
Just cheap things gathered in one place. Extremely full and stressful, many pickpockets. We went there because of the advertising in every tour guide
From Madrid.al.Cielo with a
