We are going to wait for the Rastro to go back to ...
We are going to wait for the Rastro to go back to what it was because this one right now is nothing like what it has always been
We are going to wait for the Rastro to go back to what it was because this one right now is nothing like what it has always been
Very crowded in the day time, but you can find very different product and stuff in the market. Most of places work with cash!
Tourist place par excellence of Madrid. Better to go first thing, then it is super crowded, it is very good to find interesting things and have a drink in any of its many bars.
A pity, but circumstances rule, almost all the streets were empty.
Standard flea market popular in many Spanish towns. It's unfortunate that many of the shops carry the same items, but unique wares could still be discovered here.
Everything you are looking for is here, usually at a good price
A big street market with lots of things to look at or buy. Sometimes is difficult to walk because is too crowded
Brilliant place. I would definitely come again for the vibe and great atmosphere. Loved it here
El Rastro what can we say but wow. You could stay all day but it only goes to 3pm so get there early and dont mind the madding crowd. Also you can grab some lunch there. Lots of clothes, bags, jewellry and hand made gifts stalls and also lots of antiques. Most of the flea market is your average run of the mill finds, but when you stumble upon the vintage and antique section it becomes a different story. I could furnish a whole apartment with the treasures that are available
It is an alternative and cultural place in the chaos of Madrid, joins the district of Lavapies and Ambassadors. You can find unique items at reasonable prices.
Certainly in Madrid, visit, excellent atmosphere, sells everything, completely everything.
The most important rake in Madrid for over 400 years. Anything you can not imagine there you will find, from old cards, art and antiques, furniture and clothes or old books. It is very guarded but you have to be careful with bags and purses. There are a lot of people and after a good walk and some shopping you have to have a snack in the area.
Most items seem brand new, prices quite high, no antiques.
Tradition visit it. I have a position there and just seeing the atmosphere every Sunday is a feeling ... indescribable. You want to go only for the atmosphere, the amount of culture and tradition ...
Also highlight something that few people know, that the Trail is also the holidays, although with many fewer posts and messy (each is put where you want), although because people do not know and is very little traveled, most of the Posts do not go on holidays, but there are Traces !!
Ideal to spend a Sunday with its antiques, its stalls, the delicious tostas and some strawberries ...
Packed with tourists and expensive. Not what it used to be. I m a local and unless it s sunny on a winter Sunday morning I will stay home or go to another neighbourhood.
For now there is no trace only the stores already formed around it.
Shortly before 9 am and until 3 pm since you arrive kindness and art you can feel it, if you go with time and patience you find quality products at good prices, the offers are real and there is EVERYTHING .. carrying cash opens you Doors to fast offers (few sellers accept cards) household products, gifts and second-hand things, music books, clothes for each season, toys and antiques and excellent places to eat. There is surveillance and but as everywhere Concurred to not have a bad experience you have to take care of personal items ..
It is a place to spend a very entertaining Sunday morning
if you go to Madrid take a look at this place, Latin and characteristic
Place to find everything, but everything everything.
Even things of doubtful origin or things that one would never think to see again.
It is worth going around the trail without a doubt.
Yes or yes, every Sunday, the plan to do in Madrid. To see everything, walk through all the streets, all the antiques you can see.
huge flea market. bought a new suitcase at half the price.
Great atmosphere, you find everything and the shopkeepers, very cordial
Whenever I go to Madrid I try to stop by. You can find wonderful things at a good price and authentic bargains. What sets it apart from other European flea markets is the whole atmosphere of reeds and tapas that surrounds it.
It is very curious. It has a lot of activity and you can find endless new and used things, from clothes, military uniform tools and much more. Surrounded by the widest range of hotels, tapas bars, restaurants and taverns of the most varied
Excellent place to look for interesting second-hand things. Do not forget to have a vermouth at any bar in the area, the older the better. To see the posts it is necessary to go on Sunday morning.
I expected more. I have seen beautiful antique begozi around and some interesting objects in the stalls, but I thought I would find practically only one flea market and instead there are many stalls that can be found in all the city markets. It is very large and chaotic.
I appreciated the Berlin market more, at the exit of the Zoo and the mythical Balun of Turin.
Market peculiar pieces of all kinds authentic cachivaches and a lot of incredible offers super recommended that you can do better on a Sunday
I spent 1 month in Madrid and went to the Rastro on 3 Sundays, I really enjoyed it! It has many product options, and several with good prices. If you are buying the famous travel souvenirs (key chains, refrigerator magnets, etc.), it is worth buying there! Ps: It is important to pay attention to your belongings, because it is a good place to steal, especially when it is quite full.
A place where you can find curious things and very cool things like shoes of very good quality at a very good price. It is to walk all morning.
Very big market where they sell everything from clothes to antiques. Every single day this brings this neighborhood to a buzzing start. And it is huge!
A sadness Nothing ... absolutely nothing of what it was, More alone than a loneliness
Most disappointing if you expect a real trail, a market with many very large stops but nothing you can not find in any city.
I prefer 1000 times Valencia.
Lots of clothing also used. Low level antiques. Very extensive and colorful. Don't go there to do business but to immerse yourself in Madrid in the most multi-ethnic Madrid. Devote two hours to your Sunday morning.
Wonderful ... It was empty, after 40 years in Madrid I have enjoyed it.
Typical street market in Madrid. Lots of stalls, and almost 100% are new items. Very typical and recommended for your visit on Sunday mornings.
could not experience it, was closing down when we got there
No more. Nothing interesting has been around for a long time. They already have all the positions the same. They want to eradicate the punk outposts of Tyrso. A pity that the trail also becomes hipster.
When you visit Madrid you have to take a walk on the trail and its surroundings. They have a special charm.
Extremely busy so make sure you have a close eye on your belongings. Can get some great steals. Try to barter. Can spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours here exploring
As always, fantastic what is sold and those who buy
Good place to spend Sunday morning when it is reopened. Let's wait to see the sanitary measures.
By problem to find everything we do not need. Between street shows, flea markets, various markets and shopping, this is how to occupy a Sunday morning in an entire neighborhood.
We didn't go on a Sunday, so we saw the few shops that are in the complex. Rather antiquities on the expensive side, and big furniture. The shops that are on the surrounding streets through offer lower prices and more smaller items.
Good place to find small and large "treasures". The only bad thing it has is the crime that is around. Eye to the pickpockets !!!
The most traditional place in Madrid, is super great! Many antiques and history.
A poor, second-hand product stall market just to walk by out of curiosity. Not much interesting.
Great clothes and other items at reasonable prices. Obviously crowded but still a fun way to spend your Sunday.
The perfect place to spend a Sunday morning in Madrid
A flea market like the others, it does not stand out
It is a great place to go for a walk and where you can find a wide variety of places at the end even if you do not need anything you end up taking something because they have very cheap prices and the owners of the posts are very friendly
Something you should see, but careful 'cause it's really really crowded, people arw barely moving/walking and prices are not cheaper than shops, only on few places
The best place to hang out and walk on a Sunday morning. The variety of things there is incredible and different. The bars around always overflow and very rich everything. If you come to Madrid, it is essential to stop by here
Spent our Sunday morning wandering the market, really enjoyed our time.
It was closed, no event, no street trader ... I visited, the usual street atmosphere. Not in the poster or information as it is closed
I loved this visit in my time in Madrid. What a fascinating adventure to discover so many product stands at such a good price. It was a lot of fun and I bought a lot of fashion stuff. Must visit on a Sunday morning in Madrid!
Sensational places with shops and amazing bargains/opportunities for the people to go get them. Also spectacular ambience with live music and many places where you can enjoy tapas beer and many things in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods of madrid
Place to recreate the view. Where creativity increases you by the large number of opportunities you find when observing the different positions of El Rastro. You can think about how to dress, decorate your house, your pets, ... And finally you can take a snack (a cane or vermouth and its cover) in any of the many existing tarbernas. Take the opportunity to spend a very different Sunday morning.
Prepare to spend some time wandering the thousands on vendors...
If you want to go at ease, it is better to go well early. A very good variety of second-hand and new clothes. Older items etc. For those who come from other countries I recommend that they at least go around.
Soooooo many cool things. I nearly bought an old coffee grinder but I wanted German or French and I did not find one in good condition. But you will find something and then eat tapas with the locals....sardines. heaven
An open air market super large. great variety of things to get good price
Escaso por la pandemia, pero volvera ha ser como siempre, lleno de encanto y gente
It is a mandatory visit site when you visit Madrid. The trail has been the Sunday market for years where you can find endless products for all tastes. From antiques, to curiosities, memories of Madrid, clothes, clothes, everything. You can also eat or drink at the bars that are located on the sidewalks down the street. It is available every Sunday from 9 am to 3pm.
The flea market (Bezalel) is very nice and large
Most things do not change between the stalls but it is nice to stroll to stop for some coffee in one of the shops ..
Lovely place in Madrid. Where you can find everything!
I like the place is a good place to take a look at the sellers there are many great things
Just like any other flea market as there are so many in the world.
Typical street market of Madrid, you can find several typical products also handmade. The neighborhood is very nice and the atmosphere is really particular.
