Very well, I love to go, lately it is less attractive but it has a lot of charm, we live far away, but that does not take away from us going frequently, this Sunday we took two Cuban friends (mother and daughter) and they loved it. For me it is a very endearing place, you have to be careful with bags and backpacks, because there are always friends of the alien, put them ahead and so they will always be controlled.

A huge flea market in the middle of the heart of Madrid. There is something for everyone: from pet supplies to old furniture, clothing and kitsch, to name but a few. If you like to visit it well, you have to go to Elf, who likes it quieter, comes sooner. Definitely worth a visit.

Sunday Morning Bargain Hunt

Sunday Morning Bargain Hunt
La Latina Area Flea Market held every Sunday , get off the Metro at La Latina and you cannot miss the start of it, offering plenty of clothing, great if you looking for 2nd hand thrift type buys, especially if you're into leather and Fur coats (risky to wear in London). Plenty of used 501's, all at really reasonable prices, plenty of Beach throws and Tee Shirts, jewellery and the usual market finds, slightly repetitive but a nice way to spend a Sunday Morning, I also love the fact The Madrilenian (locals from Madrid, if you were wondering) don't get up at the crack of dawn and some stalls were only setting up after 10am. Be prepared to walk up the long hill back once you get to the bottom. However there are plenty of places to stop off and grab a drink along the route, a very enjoyable morning. Many of the stall owners have card machines too, however it may be an idea to use one of the ATMs close to La latina Metro before you find something you wish to purchase at the bottom of the hill! Have included pics of the area the market is held in.

Magnificent trail that of Madrid. Around the Plaza de Cascorro, hundreds of stalls offer you from local handicrafts to used clothing, souvenirs for tourists and articles of all kinds, new and used. A show of colors and sounds, is a way to get to know the city and its people. For me to understand is a must see in Madrid

Highly recommended for female shoppers, you can buy cheap but good quality clothes/ accessories/ shoes at almost 1/4th Price,You need to go there early as they wrap up this entire market by afternoon. I bought a really cool hat for 6 euros. Most of the shops will give you discounts if you are going at the closing time as they don't want get into a bargain conversation with you. Use this trick

An emblematic place of Madrid more authentic and original for all those who visit the capital, you can find everything and taste typical dishes in the bars and taverns that are along Rivera Street.
Tanners and surroundings.
From here we can access interesting streets such as Toledo Street, Embajadores, etc.

Place to lose a Sunday, there is a lot of junk and old things that you could almost find in a landfill, but on the contrary there are also many antiques that may interest you.
With the walk to see everything and throw the morning and awaken hunger for half a day.
Beware of pickpockets, you have to be aware to not take any dislike

This is one huge market, and you can get nearly everything here from antiques to modernities. Its not just the main street but a lot of it on the side streets around. It is very well spread out. For a tourist if you can manage to save your souvenir shopping for this day, you could get a lot.

Everything I expected. Very large fair with several articles of interest. Second hand fur coats for 10! Several sellers of second-hand items and art. Several "traditional" sellers, Moroccans and Gypsies with "common" items, that is, several stalls with the same products, magnets, plates, scarves, scarves, belts.
At the same time there are stalls with books and super affordable DVDs, new clothes, quality accessories, original art, among others. I visited in January and it was very busy, I can't imagine how it will be in more tourist seasons.

Fantastic aspect: the fair is held on several streets, with the stands positioned on the sidewalk, it is possible to move behind them. That is, if you are in a hurry and do not want to visit the fair, you can move around behind the stalls without much traffic.

A very extensive street market in the heart of La Latina. It is worth coming in the morning before the crowds gather - in the afternoon it can be very crowded. The choice of goods is huge, clothes and textiles predominate, but you can find almost anything here: from cheap Chinese to rare gems for experts on the subject. A lot of goods from India, which is probably influenced by the location of the market in a district where many Indians live.
