First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

it's been very exciting to see all the lighting changes every minute and Christmas festival is just round the corner there's more excitement coming

The room is too far from the casino and the WiFi was weak for WiFi room. Would prefer better room like world club room. & superior deluxe. Last trip I was given superior deluxe room but your housekeeping refuse to provide toothbrush unless I pay for it. You guys thrift even on toothbrush and yet collect extra fees rm5 for early check-in, choice of level, mountain view. Needless to say your resort collect extra of rm$60,000 every days by imposing these extra.
Many friends did mentioned Genting is much costlier than before and so difficult to get better room. We are given lousy room nowadays.

Nice hotel. I suggest to live in that as malls and excursion activities are present in it. So amazing .

place is good, especially the view at skytropolis

Still the cheapest option when staying at Resorts World Genting. However, you do get what you pay for. Try to stay in Tower 3, the newest of its residential towers. Watch out for the old uncles randomly approaching strangers in the lobby offering girls and massages. Can't imagine why Genting would allow this kind of activity to continue.

the room is too small and uncomfartable. hope next time there will be more nicer complimentary room like resort hotel. thank you very much.

First World Hotel room. Too small n not clean enough.

Big. Room nothing to shout about, it's cheap and ok.

Nice hotel with affordable price for rooms. Spend more to get better amendities otherwise you will get whqt you paid for for the cheapest room such as no wifi.

Hotel is beautiful. Breakfast also goods. But room toilet is very small.

Small & minimal room deco. The old Hainan kitchen restaurant become individual stalls at Malaysia food street. Bowling centre was back in business & located at same place.

Busy spot crowded always not my place of stay for relaxation.

Experienced wonderfull management at this hotel, i would like to appreciate the check-in counter staff for their professional behavior, so many categories of Room, Starting from standard to Club rooms, almost every room has qibla direction, safe box, hot water for shower , hair dryer, every level has water dispenser, Hotel is adjacent to indoor theme park and the new casino, family mart and 7 Eleven are nearby marts that serve 24 hours, there is mart within lobby of the hotel but its expensive as compared to mini markets outside the hotel, Its really well managed the world's largest hotel

Very convenient, very suitable to go in and out of the casino and for food..

Small room, just basic things...but should be ok bcoz juz for sleep...the rest of the day we play the indoor games.

Worst bed ever. Good size but bed is too hard! Extra star is for good shower tho.

6118 rooms make FirstWorld Hotel the biggest in the world. Therefore efficiency is their focus, do not expect too much superious on services or quality. Just a decent and budget place to sleep on the high mountain after you gambling the whole day.

Don't complain there has no wifi in the room. Because they want you go to gamble, not stay in the room.

The view , the technology and the decoration very fantastic.

Got a smoking room. So sad that the receptionist didn't ask regarding this. The smell was so bad and even my pyjamas soaked in the smell overnight.

Nice hotel but too small room...just like studio apartment size...also for check in counter you must wait so long if you can't use self check in kiosk...i have booking online but my booking code can't find at check in kiosk, so i must queue at counter for aprox. 1 hour

No things trouble me, just that overall i am happy with the stay.

It's a free stay. So I din put on a high expectation. Just a few comments.
The bathroom was ok.
The bed was not comfortable.
The cleanliness of carpet of outside corridor is bad. Might because my nose is sensitive to dust.

I hope you can allow pre-booking of mountain view room in the future. This was my 3rd trip this year but I never can get the room I want even when I am willing to pay. Very disappointing

The casino give less reward to membership now a days. And very bad parking space

This October trip is not really happy, I have booked the room for two days, but on the next day(after we back from lunch), one room locked(need to request lobby staff to open the room).....

And I have requested do non smoking area room, we have babies here.... But go into the room, that a strong smoking smell....

Everything was fine but they can't provide water in room. No breakfast

Large hotel in the world, have a great view, the room are so tiny, there's no way you can enjoy the mountains view since you "locked" up in the hotel, they want you to spending money on mall, casino or restaurant rather than you spending time enjoy the beautiful view with cup of coffee and cigarettes on hand. Really wonderful place for gamble lover's.

If can stay at other hotel would advise don stay tis hotel

Place still under renovations but rooms remain cozy. The check in and check out machines are also hassle free. Some rooms do not have views and smoking still remains a problem and could really do a better desmoke. Rooms does not have kettle to boil water which became a big negative for me.

Tower 3 is the newest and probably better bang for buck

one of The best hotel in genting Highland area, even have more than 7,300 room still full book in the weekend. available short time booking for 3 hours.

Definitely a happening place to be at, amazing how many people visit everyday across the globe, the lobby is very beautiful, the room service was good, food was decent, the rooms are pretty compact if you are going for a Deluxe rooms, try to check out photos of the rooms before you go ahead with the booking otherwise you will be disappointed if you are planning for a vacation :) there are lot many things to see in the Genting highlands, the theme park is very easily accessible from First world and its great to hangout.

Basic room at very affordable price. Check in and check out process are automated (via kiosk) but manual check in counters are still available ( additional charge apply if you are eligible for kiosk check in but chose to check in via counter). Check in time is 3pm but you can pay rm5 for early check in. Check out is at 11am. This is a big hotel with tremendous number of rooms. There's also a luggage storage facility in the lobby.
Standard room are the cheapest but doesn't come with free wifi. No toiletries, kettle, coffee/tea or mug in the room either. Very small shower with no place to hang your clothes so if you're staying with friends you may be not very comfortable with it. They do provide a jug where you can fill with water from water dispenser available on each floor. You may buy the toiletries or beverage pack from the vending machine near the lift.
Y5 room is slightly more expensive but more spacious. Also no place to hang your clothes in the shower. Kettle and coffee/tea are provided in the room. There's also complimentary WiFi.
There's no air-conditioning (which is not necessary) but there is ceiling fan. All room comes with a TV.
