Amazing hotel room. 2 story mansion basically with a very gorgeous modern touch to it. Only bad thing is the building we were in was #48 and it's quite a long walk from the lobby. They said buses come through every 10 minutes but I guess we were swimming in the opposite direction cuz they were never going in the direction we were! Since I dont mind the exercise though I'd definitely come back.

A great Hilton resort where we spent five nights recently. Great amenities, always clean and gardens kept immaculately. Always friendly staff giving you a Bula wherever you go. Only "minor" issue is the local minor birds that are real pests around the Nuku and Koro eating areas.
Great two weeks! Front desk folks were amazing, some of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. Y'all know who you are. The room was incredible! It was nice and clean. Two thumbs up to the cleaning ladies. View from my room was great but the people next to me were a bunch of party poopers, complained because of my music was too loud. It was 10am c'mon! Nuku bar was excellent, the bartenders and servers were very friendly and well mannered. Happy hour was a bit of a good deal. Live band was on point! It was an astonishing stay and I highly recommend this certain hotel in Denarau. Only problem I had was the room service, very slow and for the amount of money I paid to get room service, it was highly disappointing. Waited an hour for ice cream and cheese cake & my room was literally right across the restaurant. Apart from that it was amazing. Definitely my hotel of choice when I return. Thank you!
My husband and I had a great week at the Fiji Hilton. Our room was a great ocean view as most of the rooms were. The housekeeping were very thorough. We were in the adults area, quieter than the family end - the childrens had great fun. The restaurants had great staff were very friendly as all the people of Fiji are, all the staff greeted you with 'Bulla' I will miss that. The restaurants were expensive but quality was good. The Deli cafe was good value and very obliging for dietary needs. The resort had busses, small golf carts to drive you around, we preferred to walk. We would go back again, but know what to expect with the costs of eating in their restaurants - we enjoyed our time, thank you to the staff.
I had such a memorable experience in Hilton Fiji, thanks to the lovely people I met over there, a special thanks to Amelia, Titilia, Janette, Niko, Joeli and everybody else that made myself and my friends feel so special. Thank you !
This Hilton was a really nice place to stay, a great location with great rooms and facilities. A little disappointed with how long it took them to fix our WiFi but not a major problem. The services that are there and the events they have a really good. Drinks and Food are pretty good but at hotel prices. The pools are AWESOME spots.
I stayed 5 nights in a beachfront guest room. I was lucky enough to get a room within 5 minutes walk to the reception but the room do span on quite a distance and i couldnt imagine having to walk everyday in the heat or wait for the buses to run. The hilton staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The buffet breakfast cost 50fjd at the restaurant or 30 at reception, I only ate it once and was not overly impressed with the selection compared to other buffets available on the island, however their dinner options were beautiful everything i ate was perfect. There is an adults only pool and dining option, cafe on site with amazing coffee i ordered iced long blacks daily and a small gym.
Great resort and quiet this time of year. Staff are really friendly and restaurants are expensive but you get what you pay for. Koro (the new Adults only area) is disappointing - no gardens, trees makes it lifeless and deck gets scolding hot - but there are enough other areas that it doesn't matter. Myna birds can be pesky too. These are minor criticisms in the scheme of things - by far the best resort in Denarau.
The issue lies on the Indian restaurant. I ordered the second most expensive dish in the whole menu, Mud Crab, which is considered a signature dish in Hilton. However it really let me down, the crab meat already became sticky and smelly.... not fresh at all! And later I know since recently not many people order this, the crab is already de-frozen for a few days.....however the restaurant is still selling it, and even don't intend to solve the issue... very disappointed... I cannot believe this is a Hilton standard
The staff are very friendly & obliging. I like the layout of the hotel, which is a long series of two storey blocks, all facing the ocean. Most rooms look straight out over the lawn & palm trees to the ocean. Big balconies with lounge chairs mean you can enjoy the view & not see any other rooms or balconies. First floor are my pick, some prefer the ground floor with direct outside access. Some rooms are overlooking the pool area if you wish to be closer to those amenities. There are also two-storey pool villas which would suit families, and look very nice. The coffee shop serves good croissants & bagels & lots of takeaway things if you prefer to eat in your room/villa. Quite a number of rooms appear to have kitchens & barbecues. Good place for a family holiday. Don't go during school holidays if you want peace and quiet.
Has one adult pool- you d think you d come to the adults pool for peace and tranquillity and right now there s a aqua fitness class going on it it with an instructor screaming bula every other word at the top of his lungs. Quite dirty, definitely not worth the money. Loud music everywhere, no spaces to read a book quietly.
We had a 1 night stay after returning from Tokoriki Island. This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and it wasn't as good as last time. After arriving from the Port at about 1.30pm it took about a total of 1 hour to get checked in and allocated our room. We finally got into our room at 4pm. (3 trips to reception to see if it was ready - so much for being a Hhonors member) They have obviously tried to adapt the hotel to cater more for families opening up all the pools by the restaurant for kids - not sure if this is a good thing.
If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIR ven. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
Awesome staff over the different departments and different restaurants. Jay and Niko made our day today, wonderful service by the pool. Bus drivers and concierge are great!!! Great meals as well. Very well impressed. We drove around the island and stayed in 4 different resorts and this is far the best. We will recommend. The apartments are wonderful!!! We ll be back!!! Thank you!!!
Located at a great location. Has a very modern feel: block houses, modern interiors, square pools and modern umbrellas, lots of open space around the beach and a beautiful view. The adults only section is nice. But what really made the stay less than expected are a couple of things: - the honeymoon package: see below. - half of the cocktails on the menu were not available as were some of the food items.
- not all the lights in our room were working (though fixed the next day after mentioning it) - aircon turned to 19 degrees every time a staff member entered the room, though we wanted it on 24 degrees.
Honeymoon: Rate it badly, below zero if possible: - Despite having an email confirmation that there would be a honeymoon setup upon arrival, there was nothing in our room. - After asking, they would do something the next day. This was nothing more than some flowers on the bed and no extra info. - We asked again at the reception and then it turned out that we should have had cupcakes as well, but they were not delivered. - At the end of the day, the cupcakes were delivered as well as a voucher for a 50% off for one of their massages. First of all, we couldn't make use of it, as the spa was already closed and we were leaving the next morning. Second of all, after the discount, we would still have to pay FJD 290.
I reckon that this is way below the standard of Hilton and of a five star resort. The only reason for the second star is that the personnel in the adults only section was really nice. We won't stay here again.
My wife and I stayed at this property for one night and were extremely busy. The room was in very bad shape, with stains on the walls and on the sofas. The shower was in a sorry state. The staff very careless. The pool tour smelled of fast food, and the beach was full of rubbish like plastic bottles etc. There was a cable hanging in the toilet. And icing on the cake we still had $ 147 to pay and not having the exact change I gave $ 150. The receptionist told me she did not have the money and she could not give me the change. 5-stars hotel? I also say that this is the first time I put a negative comment ... but for 335th at night I'm really angry.
Lives up to the 5 star reputation. Excellent adults only area if you want to avoid the kids. Food selection was fantastic with brilliant breakfasts. Bula bus around Denarau is a must
This part of Fiji and the resort itself is beautiful, however is extremely expensive and there are just too many kids in this resort for the amount of money we paid to 'Relax'. We weren't told about the adults only section until our last day which was pretty disappointing. Our room was just outside of reception (room 212) and was very noisy at all hours of the day and night. My partner and I were woken up several times throughout our stay by noisy check outs or the resort staff talking loudly outside our room. The rooms are also pretty dated and should be updated based off the rate charged per night. We asked to move rooms twice and were declined, so for that reason we won't be staying here again. Make sure you shop around before you book this resort as we found out during our stay that you can get a lot more for your money.
I would have given the Hilton 5 stars except that we asked for a wake up call which never happened. We could have missed our flight - 8:15 am departure! and it's 25 mins to the airport after you've secured a cab. Luckily we had arranged our own cab and he was there waiting. Also, the porter turned up on time so if we hadn't woken up, he would have knocked on the door & the dash would have been on. We stayed here on our first and last days in Fiji to fit with our Yasawa Island holiday. Both times, we were given an upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment which was nice however, we learned the downside of that at sparrow's f@rt the next morning when 2 pre-teens downstairs yo-yo'd in and out of their apartment yelling and letting the door slam at many times. So beware, apartments means there are more likely to be kids nearby, so say goodbye to sleeping in. On our second stay, it didn't matter as we had to get up at dawn. Apart from that, the Fijian staff were fabulous, especially the porters who ferried us and our luggage in golf carts. The beds were very comfortable with an excellent assortment of pillow types already in the room. For those staying longer, the living room & kitchenette & balcony BBQ make these and excellent option for families. Our second bedroom had twin beds and a full bathroom complete with stand alone bathtub, the same as the master suite.
After spending a few days on an outer island this is a fine place to stay before catching that dreaded flight home. I should say it also makes for a good stay if you don't want to stay on one of the outer islands. Great food and facilities on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Disappointing. Was convinced to upgrade to a beachfront villa by Moe. This villa faces west. Upon arrival and help with our luggage up a flight of stairs, we were left to sort out how everything worked. The villa was extremely hot, and we thought the aircon had just been turned on. After unpacking and getting hotter and hotter the penny dropped and the first of a series of phone calls started with no results. We had been put into accomodation with aircon that was out of order, the "technician" was repairing it, and we could not be moved into our previously booked accomodation as the resort was "fully booked" Next-----We like to travel with music, either in a USB stick or walkman. There was a Bose sound system in the villa, but no way to connect a digital medium. YES---I did ask. Housekeeping----leave at 9.30 A M and return at 1.30.PM and the room is not serviced---really. The personal and luggage pickup to get to reception to check out was again disappointing. I know, sounds like a huge winge, but there was no-one in authority to direct our concerns to while we were there. The words---on his break, or ---gone for the day come to mind
The service in the hotel is appalling with staff not attending for hours if you made a request. Spoiled my 3 night stay. Was kicking myself for not making a booking with any hotel in Denarau.
The place is made special by 2 people Mr. Mohammed Limdowalla, the operations manager and Epamma in the reception. The property is well located and has all the offerings of a 5 star. Its a great place with lovely people. Would not mind visiting over and over again.
