This was a great place to spend 2 weeks. We had a great time and the staff was simply outstanding. The restaurants are all excellent and the people of Fiji is what makes everything awesome!

Go to the islands! The Hotel is nice, the rooms are actually very nice and have a great design, the restaurant were comparatively plain, and nothing special. The Asian restaurant was good and the interior pleasant, but not four or five star.
The beach is a mud beach.
The adult Restaurant and Pool area looked nice but also nothing special. It s not Fiji.

My second time at the Hilton Fiji and although it was a brief stay, it was most enjoyable.

An easy arrival into Nadi had me checked in and into my room within 50 minutes of landing, helped by a warm welcome and friendly staff.

The staff here are definitely one of the standout's here - warm, engaging and friendly.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a Beachfront Suite with Shared plunge pool - a lovely space, with a separate living/dining and bedroom area.

Bedding was very comfortable, and I appreciated having plugs for my devices next to my bed as well.

The bathroom is huge, with a big tub, walk in shower a huge feature.

Best of all you can walk out onto the beachfront area, sit on your terrace and relax.

With one of the restaurant's Nuku closed for renovation, I had my first dinner at the adults only space Koro - with a nice view of the South Pacific sunset.

Food prices are high, but nothing more than what I expect from a resort of this standard in Fiji.

Breakfast was also served at Koro, although Maravu was option as well for guests staying closer to there.

Now an important note. The Resort is long - around 2km I believe. Whilst buggies regularly drive through the resort and they have their only Bula Express, I'd definitely recommend Couples stay near Koro (also has it's own pool), and families near Maravu and Nuku where most of the main pools are.

All in all a lovely stay and a special mention to Rex in the Front Office and Elizabeth my Housekeeper.

Came there for my honeymoon, not only did they mess up my room but also forgot to send the honeymoon package i signed up for! After all the confusion they charged my card twice and only after contacting them did they process the return and that too without apology! The asian restaurat in it gave us musquito spray while we had dinner when we asked for a seat where there less mosqiotos!

We went excited for our daughter who was getting married. Several months in the planning. The room @ $1100 per night had a broken door handle to the deck, with no lock, and wouldn t close. Took two days to repair. Meanwhile room was not secure. The door to the toilet was missing, they came in on the first morning to measure, we didn t see anyone again for the remainder of our stay. 6 days. The food was nothing special, better food in town. We would order a coffee for breakfast and it would arrive 15 mins later. We made the mistake the first morning of following up Re coffee, only to receive two coffees. The whole place seemed tired, run down. The staff were friendly and up beat, although at times we felt they were taking most of the flack from guests, and they were doing their best. Would I stay there again NO. Much better options, at this price and brand point. Very disappointed.

Excellent service, they drop you off and pick you up at your room with your luggage. There is an express bus service to use to get around the resort. Room are very clean and tidy, food is delicious and served quickly. Pool towels available daily for swimming. Good organised activities to join in on. Kids club, a few stores to do a little bit of shopping at, gym as well. Is a wonderful resort to stay at

I've stayed at many Hilton resorts and hotels but this one is just so lacklustre. For the price they charge it's just not up to scratch. Lots of children running riot, don't get me wrong I don't mind kids but there's no adult only parts to this resort, if you had come here on a honeymoon you would be devastated. It just has none of that magic that you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Facilities are tired and public amenities in restaurants and poolside aren't maintained to a high or even reasonable degree.

Nuku restaurant was particularly awful, we ordered two starters and two salads for mains. Waited half an hour and the mains arrived, we asked the waiter to take it back to the kitchen as we hadn't received our starters yet, another 15 minutes passed and the starters arrived. These were actually pretty good. Once the plates had been cleared the salads were returned to the table within minutes - clearly they were the same salads as before. I had a Caesar, the croutons were soggy and the salad warm, I'd opted for extra grilled chicken which has been forgotten. At that point I sent it back and asked for the bill. Very disappointed.

Hilton I know you will read this, sort this resort out. people are paying good money to come here, you have a fantastic location but your guest relations and service aren't up to scratch. You owe it to your hard working customers. I hate leaving poor reviews but sometimes people deserve to know what they're going to get.

Another year comes to end, and that's why there's a feedback again. I found a place, where I can give a 5 Star!! I have never seen so much friendliness. The cleanliness is the most important here. The staff, sorry that words fail me. SUPER. The food is excellent, and the prices are good.
The room are very nice, no comments, maybe check sometimes the equipment!
There was a small problem in communication, or misunderstanding, but I hope everyone learned about this one.

The place is not that fancy/posh compared to other hotels in denarau island, but the staff are super friendly and their service is superb. Food in their restaurants are a hit and miss sometimes.. so don't expect a michelin star dining.

have had the worst experience at holton fiji beach resort. after spending in excess of $4000 au on our rooms at this resort, when we arived at approximately 9pm our room did not have hot water. we called maitenance and were told that the hot water was switched off as our neighbours turn it off to sleep without noise. we thought that we would just wait till the morning as it was late. that morning we waited till 10 am and STILL NO HOT WATTER. although staff did move us to another room (no upgrade ) we had the same thing happen again! Already 3 out of 7 nights we did not have hot water! my husband had 3 COLD SHOWERS and I was forced to take a taxi and shower at a friend's hotel who was staying in Sheraton resort. to top this off, iron was not working, toilet doors were hard to close and our phones were also cut off which means no room service and no way to call reception, maintenance, transport or help!

although staff are lovely and view is amazing, we were not given any compensation or sympathy for this horrible inconvenience! We always stay at hilton on our holidays (e.g. surfers paradise, sydney, Hawaii, las Vegas) and have such high expectations of this hotel and when you spend thousands of dollars you want at least the bare minimum met. but after this trip.. we will NEVER stay at hilton again.
Spend a couple hundred extra and stay at sheriton !

I was disappointed with the Hilton on this trip.
Upon an early checkin, there was no attempt to get us a room earlier. We were handed a map.of the resort and told to check back in at 3pm.

When we arrived at 3.30pm the room still wasn't ready, when we got to room housekeeping was just leaving.

The room was missing kettle, sugar, facecloth, bath mat and rubbish bin.

The fridge had an opened carton of used milk.

5.30am porter pick up of luggage was delayed we had to walk for most of it with our luggage.

All this during a low occupancy season.

Paradise has been built here. I have visited many times and love the staff, the atmosphere and the general lazing around. It s good with or without kids. The nightlife is relaxed and the days are beautiful for most of the year.

Borderline 3 Star rating but the 4th star was salvaged by the really great staff. Massive resort with multiple pool and restaurant options. Where I feel like this Hilton fell down was the quality of the rooms. They re really, really tired and desperate for a fresh lick of paint.

The beds were clean and comfortable but not sure I walked away feeling like it was worth the $400 per night. Also, we did a room switch due to noisy neighbours (they were really efficient with this) but the new room was so stinky.. maybe of lingering cigars?..

Breakfast is very ordinary, ordinary... everyone lives in the outer island, at least the scenery is beautiful... here is the main island, just a port, the beach is poor, the water is poor, nothing, the Fijian people are really not delicious, including the so-called five-star hotel

Fenny responded efficiently via Messenger, rooms were spacious, large & comfy beds. Friendly staff. Large variety of breakfast choices available @ Koro or Nuku restaurants. Appreciated the special rates offered to locals. Vinaka vakalevu. Highly recommended.

Amazing place... one piece of advice - if you drink lot of coffee consider taking nespresso pods with you. They have nespresso coffeemaker in rooms but coffee pods are sold 2F$ per 1pod

I have stayed at this resort several times over the last 8 years and it has gotten big, too big. I stayed there June 19 and was placed at the far end of the hotel (the long end) which is a very long way from the main facilities. You can either call for a buggy or wait for the resort bus. Both options take a while so I ended up walking most of the time and got a nice blister for my troubles. I stayed in a two bedroom unit which had great facilities which were not very well maintained. Kitchen had extensive water damage, dish drawer dishwasher not fixed in place, broken and missing tiles from terrace, missing handle from bathroom partition, damage to ceiling in one bathroom where the glass partition slid. Over all I had a pleasant stay but this is a 5 star hotel and it ain t cheap to stay here so I really expected more. They really need to focus on maintaining what they have rather than making the resort even bigger.

Upon arrival, we were happily surprised to be able to check-in immediately at around 1:00pm instead of 3:00pm. Check-in was nice and quick. Staff weren t as friendly as they were at previous Fiji hotels and lacked a sense of warmth, however was still a great taste of Fijian hospitality. First impressions of the hotel ground, we were disgusted at the mess at the back of the hotel (a pile of shipping containers and random rubbish) and the villas looked quite nice. The buggy ride (to our room) was very bumpy and the buggies were too old. While walking up the stairs I noticed a lot of rubbish just sitting around the hotel (not suitable for a Hilton). Unsafe uneven step which lead to our room. We actually received the wrong bed configuration and maybe even the wrong type of room. The view from the room wasn t amazing. Picture a few bare paddocks and then a small glimpse of Port Denarau. We later called about an extra bed and around two hours later (after an average dinner) the rollaway finally showed up! Beds were relatively comfy and rooms were very big, however need maintenance and were dirty in some places, however were clean overall. Still got a good nights sleep. Out all the next day and never got to use any hotel amenities apart from restaurants. Our best experience with the Hilton Fiji was probably the breakfast, which will be explained in detail in a seperate review. Ordered room service for dinner which was ok, but took a long time (we understand the restaurant was very busy). Had to leave at 5:15am for the airport and had arranged for a buggy for 5am, which was never followed through but one still came at around 5:10am. I think we may have been a little harsh on the Hilton because of our amazing experience at Momi Bay! I don t see an amazing Fiji Getaway at Denarau, it s not really much of an island, and has a terrible taste of Fijian beaches. Drop Denarau and move to Momi Bay!

Nice room, great air conditioning. Very polite and friendly staff. Not much to do around the resort. Pool filled with kids so didn't swim once Delicious food! Highly recommend the espresso martini and the garlic bread with cheese! Breakfast buffet was okay, was hoping for more fresh fruit.

Great hotel. Awesome service. It's 20mins walk from Port Denarau. Great beachfront hotel. Multiple pools. Includes an adults only pool by the koro restaurant. Decent size rooms with air conditioning and fan. Recommend staying in the beach view rooms. The hotel runs along the beach and it's a bit of a walk to the rooms at the opposite end. Free bula express are running from 7am till 10pm for your convenience. Highly recommend beachfront dinning under the stars.

We had the ocean front suite and rooms were large with a kitchen, tv area and balcony with a bbq. They had a Fijian bbq pack for 2 at the hotel that feed my whole family. Lovely garden areas and lots of pools to enjoy. A great place for anyone.

Rooms are very dated and need a serious upgrade to be in line with other resorts in the island.

Internal phones missing buttons, showers are mouldy, light switches missing buttons, bed to the main bedroom is more of a queens size then a king as in other resorts.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom beach front with a self contained kitchen with only 1 small saucepan to cook with. How is this suitable making anything especially for a 2 bedroom unit.

Welcoming staff at reception could use a little more expression and excitement upon greeting new guest. We arrived today and practically had ask for help to upload our luggage.

Arrived at our room with no resort information at all so had no idea on what the resort offers. They send a guy to our door who hands me a brochure and walls away with no explanation for the information They provided.

We are here for our wedding tomorrow and certainly hope the service, staff encounters and overall experience pick up especially for the price you pay.

Also.charge you for a bucket of ice other resorts have ice for free.and machines and Hilton want to charge for a bucket.

Not a good start to.our wedding.

However this said susanna and julie the duty manager has been helpful and hope to change my review upon check out to see In the Hilton lives upto its name.

If this review gets a reply from the GM I hope its a.custom reply as the.other replies seem generic and all say the same thing as if its a auto generated response.

Lets see how it goes for these few days and hope Hilton Fiji can provide an experience to encourage us to return next year.

Also no free wifi in your rooms only out in the resort pool etc. Surely wifi can be included.

Service has picked up and see how it is.when we leave tomorrow and.if its improvement I will edit this review.

Food and beverage manager and staff at the nuku restaurant were amazing.

Check out time. WOW could not wait to leave the guy checking us out had no expression not even a Thank you for staying with the Hilton.

The Hilton needs a major makeover, staff change, service upgrades to live upto the Hilton name.

Its a real shame as other resorts like Radison Blu make you feel welcome the moment you walk up the stairs and all the staff are always happy and smiling
Most of the staff here looked like They did not want to be there however i guess its a pay check.

Will not return

Bula!!! We stayed there for a week. Nice and clean rooms. Warm welcome by front staff. I would like to give high five for Saru. She is great and happy lady at reception. It was the most relaxing time. Great view from the rooms. Highly recommended place to stay.

This is a ZERO STAR RATING! My wife and I attempted to stay here for one night while we were on our family holiday. This night was to be our ''honeymoon night'' away from our kids (1st time kid free night for nearly 2 years) while we got them looked after. We booked the 2 Bedroom Penthouse, upon entering we could instantly tell it was not very clean. The whole penthouse was very grubby in general, urine stains on toilet seats, soap & toothpaste scum on tiles in bathrooms, floors not mopped or swept, mould on ensuite mirror, mould on all the outside furniture, our plunge pool was black and full of leaves. We immediately called reception, they sent a cleaner up to inspect. We were offered to move rooms which we obviously accept and they told us to wait 10 minutes and someone come collect us to take us to another room. 2.5 hours later we walked all the way back to reception and asked for a refund so we could try and find another place to stay. Reception had no care in the world, did not even bother to speak in English, just processed the refund and happily watched us walk away without any offer of a taxi or bus ride anywhere. Disgusting service, would never consider staying in a Hilton again!!

Gorgeous resort, and I had a stunning room, with relaxing bath in the middle of the room. The meals at the restaurants were great, and view out to the pool while drinking a cocktail at the adult restaurant was lovely. They have a great equipped gym too. Only small challenge is the rooms aren t super sound proof - something for the staff to be mindful off when they re greeting guests with a loud bula outside. That said, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The little cafe was a nice touch too. Long distances to walk at times, but I actually enjoyed the exercise - I didn t take up the regular offer of a ride on a golf cart for that reason - I don t like getting too idle.

The food was excellent with a huge variety. It was the perfect luxury hotel.
But the counter is rude. They send me the wrong letter which needs charge of the fee.She destroyed the papers with out sorry...Just said :It was wrong room only!

Staying in adult area, is great.
Internet can be patchy at peak times.
15 min walk to denarau marina.
2km is length of the resort.
Great beach walk up along the various resorts along the stretch.
