Great location, wonderful staff! Definitely coming back!
Rooms are great with one exception, most have no drapes to keep the room truly dark. however, there are bigger problems. Over multiple visits I have had a wide range of problems. Air conditioning broken, iron broken, room service brings the wrong food twice... They were always ready to fix the issues and apologize but I expect less issues when at a high-end establishment.
Also, the lounge and breakfast is significantly better at the other two surrounding Marriotts.
A gem of a hotel within the heart of London. The staff is very friendly and they have put safety measures in place during this pandemic times to make sure your stay is comfortable and safe.
We live in London but we stayed over for a night as this was where we got married. The atmosphere is still very good and relaxing despite the pandemic that is currently going on. They have renovated many of the rooms while they were in lockdown. I enjoy the odd touches provided by them which made our stay very special. We had a one year child with us and he enjoyed exploring the hotel too :)
I would recommend travellers or even Londoners to come and treat yourself to a lovely mini break at St.Ermin's
We walked past by chance and were drawn in by the lovely garden entrance. As soon as we entered we were met with beautiful fragrances and a perfect greeting to help us find the bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back as soon as we can to this delightful place, perfect for afternoon tea or a good wine with tasty light bite menu. Not cheap, but not silly pricey for a London hotel.
Nice hotel but over Priced. Extra clever Conceirge leave no chance to bug customers
Comfortable hotel. Good location. Service is excellent
Very nice afternoon tea. Staff were first class both in the foyer and at the tea rooms ...super friendly and looked after us on my mum's special birthday.
Wonderful and very fancy, very accommodating to rewards members
I would highly recommend. Courteous and helpful staff and very nice rooms. It s a beautiful hotel in a lovely area - so close St James Park!
Great property in full Westminster area, a few minutes away from the palace and abbey, Big Ben, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. But as we know, London turns around in the metro, moving from one end of the city to the other with good speed. The hotel is practically in the countryside, but in reality its walls give the distinct impression that they themselves exude history, not only for its location but for the coinvolgenre atmosphere. In fact all the districts or the most famous London streets make this effect: Soho, Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Harrow, Piccadilly, etc.etc.
Perfect location to Buckingham Palace. Most of the staff is very polite. Breakfast is sub par and rooms are very tiny.
Lovely tea. Be aware the children's tea is only available weekends.
My favorite hotel in London...right by the underground... mmm akes travel super easy
Centrally situated. Nice hotel and excellent service.
The room is too small, the bathroom sewer tastes heavy
Excellent location. Large room. Perfect service. Proximal to tube stop. Second time staying here, there will be a third. Oh, and US AC outlets!
Nice hotel and location near Westminster Abbey. Rooms are a bit small though.
We enjoyed a superb and very comfortable one week stay here in July. What stands out is the cleanliness and decor of the public areas and the rooms as well as the friendliness of the staff. We stayed in an Executive Deluxe room which came with a separate seating area and a Nespresso coffee maker and a selection of coffee pods. Every day, the pods we used were replaced. So generous! The beds were large and comfortable. The wifi and A/C worked great. Check in & check out was a breeze. The concierge is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The restaurant attached serves delicious food but is pricey. Tip: skip their brewed coffee and order a cappuccino instead. Also, get the 'breakfast included' room option if you can as it includes a wonderful buffet each morning. Otherwise, the a la carte menu offers plenty of good options with GF bread available upon request. St. James Park Station is right around the corner, Victoria Station is a 10-min walk west and Parliament/Westminster Cathedral is a 10 minute walk east. Great location!
Amazing hotel. Modern with a taste of old. Very nice rooms, a bit on the small side. Staff is excellent. Location is far from quality dining options in the evening.
Regular attendee of St Ermin's Hotel for dinner, always reliable service, excellent food and good atmosphere. Would happily recommend.
Was definitely and my room showed its age with some creaky floors and some outdated amenities...but the benefits out weighed its age. Bed was comfortable and the service was great. The location is great...walked to most things I went to. Very close to the tube station, westminister abbey and parliment square. Also decent amount of restaurants, bars and coffee places around
Very beautiful hotel with great staff and restaurants. The building itself is older, but that adds to the charm.
Nice hotel, however breakfast lounge cannot manage when the hotel is fully booked, there just is not enough seating.
Beautiful hotel, very well upkept. It's very close to tubestations and connect to most of the parts of london. Very close to Buckingham place. Love staying in here.
Tea was great. We totally spied on table next to us.
A wonderful hotel with 5 stars service. We had afternoon tea which was absolutely fantastic served by knowledgeable and attentive staff. All our servers made us feel comfortable and at home.
Beautifully decoration. Very English ambience. I enjoyed it very much.
So far, wonderful. We are in the bar having a drink. Good crowd. Great service. Typical Marriott Hotel.
Great service, polite staff. Beautiful lloby. Taxi and uber had a hard time finding this location. Smaller rooms.
Excellent service, beautiful rooms, and great location.
Quiet safe location. Staff is very friendly and always trying to make the stay more pleasant
Slightly disappointing. Two queen beds in a standard room (I was alone) leaves little room for movement.
Hot breakfast was at best lukewarm.
Decor good, staff obliging, lobby amazing!
Enjoyed our stay, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also found the location great to explore Westminster and the west end areas of London.
Excellent hotel..great service , staff very attentive and friendly...Will be back , our hotel of choice for visiting London.
Most excellent hotel, great efficient / friendly staff in all areas... Beautiful classic interior, bed rooms with very comfortable & well equipped with free mini bar items, tea room, restaurant, pub etc... Elegance abounds & I highly recommend St. Ermin's Hotel, Autograph Collection when in London, UK.....
Great hotel. Service was fantastic, and there is complementary WIFI, with faster speeds available for a price.
This hotel is also situated very close to the St. James Underground station, so using public transport to get around the city is very easy.
Overall, this is definitely a great location to stay while in London!
This is a truly excellent hotel. I have stayed on a number of occasions over the past couple of months because of its superb location, excellent staff and comfortable beds. A great hotel.
Was here for a wedding. Everything was nice and beautifully presented.
We found the location convenient to Buckingham palace, the Abbey, Parliament and the tube. Set back off the street with a beautiful herb garden and covered porch with tables and wine service. A lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street. Rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. They even source their own honey from hives on the roof.
Very nice hotel, meals including breakfast very expensive though. However pub 2 or blocks away with good food. And a 5 minute walk from where the tour buses start. One block from the underground. I'd say it's a good spot to get around and see the city. Overall a very nice place to stay.
Lovely property, rooms are small but has everything you need and a little more. Beds are comfy. Caxton Bar and Grill have a wonderful variety that accommodated me as a gluten free eater.
What a great place to visit eat drink and stay the service is amazing!!
Met up with a college friend for drinks at the bar. The Single Malt collection was exquisite.
Nice room, nice common spaces, great location, good breakfast!
Great location near the St James Park tube station and other major attractions in Westminster. The service was impeccable and the room was clean and comfortable. A bit more than I normally pay for a room, but you can feel the difference straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
Awesome hotel. Love it, love it, love it!
A little oasis of tranquility in a busy city.
I went here for afternoon tea with my mum. Great atmosphere and lovely place. It was a sunny day so we sat outside. The service was great overall. I would recommend St Ermin s Hotel.
The breakfasts were great and the bar on the second floor is wonderful. I wish that it could stay open later. Beautiful building.
Lovely hotel lobby associated with Art Nouveau in London, which is rare
Nice hotel, but could use some cosmetic updates. Breakfast is very expensive, and service was slow. Gym was nice and staff were friendly and always willing to help.
Had a great stay at St Ermins Hotel. Everything was perfect, all the staff were friendly and professional, the food at Caxton Grill was amazing and the location is perfect for Tourism. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Prime location, sizable rooms, quality service. Will return here when I am in London again.
Loved it here. Great location. Charm. Great service. Drinks on front porch was best part.
Went here for a function. Good team, very efficient for events. But I couldn't afford to stay here.
I've stayed in this hotel a few times for work and as much as they to they can never seem to get it right. It's ok, but the little annoyances add up over time and depending on how discerning your taste and travel style are - you may want to skip it.
Annoyances:
1. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in the hallway. I asked for a quieter room and they offered me one on the courtyard - where cars drive in. Still not sure how that translates to more quiet.
2. The doors have no slam stops so when someone allows it to shut from behind them it is LOUD. If it's one of your neighbors your wall hangings will shake. If you're extra lucky to have one near the maids closet like I did the first time, forget about sleeping in. Truly, this may be the worst thing I've ever experienced in a hotel and I travel for work 30-40 weeks a year globally. Don't expect to have a work call from the hotel.
3. The elevator speaker is LOUD. Like beyond human comprehension loud. Elderly friendly??
4. The scent when you walk in is so strong that if you have any allergies or sensitives or a headache - God bless you, that's the only way you will survive. It also smells quiet bad to me but I'm sure someone thinks it is a nice scent.
5. There are no free bottles of water. This might be venturing into greedy territory but I have just come to view this as standard, particularly in a location where folks have gotten off a long flight.
6. I've yet to see them get a room service order right. It'll be close but don't expect perfection.
7. Ice machines working is 50/50.
8. If you like a bathroom with water pressure - don't stay here, or beg for a room that has the remodeled shower (they're hard to come buy in the corp rate category)
9. New during this stay are the bugs in my room. Like fruit flies. I have no words.
All to say - good luck. I have to leave now because the door slamming is driving me crazy.
The hotel is in a nice location close to Big Ben and The Eye. The rooms are small but I suppose no more so than your typical European hotel room.
The room was small and had a strange layout. The bathroom has a low ceiling and it's organized such that it has a long narrow hallway in the bathroom.
Great place! With great break fast home made Everything!
Great location as near St James, HoP and Westminster Abbey. Lots of history associated with the hotel. Rooms very good standard, clean and well looked after. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Nice little bar for late drinks after night in City
Lovely hotel, lots of history and character with plenty of quiet areas for lounging. Friendly staff. Great location, a short walk from Buckingham Palace, St James Park and the West End theatre's.
Never knew this place existed a true Gem and great for meetings !
Close to every major tourist sites. Services are great. Breakfast is wonderful.
Stellar hotel, very clean and friendly. You are within a 10-15minute walk of many attractions as well as a 2 minute walk to the tube.
Proximity to London Victoria station and famous landmarks in London
Wonderful afternoon tea. Staff very attentive. Made my birthday extra special
