Rooms are great with one exception, most have no drapes to keep the room truly dark. however, there are bigger problems. Over multiple visits I have had a wide range of problems. Air conditioning broken, iron broken, room service brings the wrong food twice... They were always ready to fix the issues and apologize but I expect less issues when at a high-end establishment.
Also, the lounge and breakfast is significantly better at the other two surrounding Marriotts.

A gem of a hotel within the heart of London. The staff is very friendly and they have put safety measures in place during this pandemic times to make sure your stay is comfortable and safe.

We live in London but we stayed over for a night as this was where we got married. The atmosphere is still very good and relaxing despite the pandemic that is currently going on. They have renovated many of the rooms while they were in lockdown. I enjoy the odd touches provided by them which made our stay very special. We had a one year child with us and he enjoyed exploring the hotel too :)

I would recommend travellers or even Londoners to come and treat yourself to a lovely mini break at St.Ermin's

We walked past by chance and were drawn in by the lovely garden entrance. As soon as we entered we were met with beautiful fragrances and a perfect greeting to help us find the bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be back as soon as we can to this delightful place, perfect for afternoon tea or a good wine with tasty light bite menu. Not cheap, but not silly pricey for a London hotel.

Great property in full Westminster area, a few minutes away from the palace and abbey, Big Ben, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. But as we know, London turns around in the metro, moving from one end of the city to the other with good speed. The hotel is practically in the countryside, but in reality its walls give the distinct impression that they themselves exude history, not only for its location but for the coinvolgenre atmosphere. In fact all the districts or the most famous London streets make this effect: Soho, Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Harrow, Piccadilly, etc.etc.

We enjoyed a superb and very comfortable one week stay here in July. What stands out is the cleanliness and decor of the public areas and the rooms as well as the friendliness of the staff. We stayed in an Executive Deluxe room which came with a separate seating area and a Nespresso coffee maker and a selection of coffee pods. Every day, the pods we used were replaced. So generous! The beds were large and comfortable. The wifi and A/C worked great. Check in & check out was a breeze. The concierge is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. The restaurant attached serves delicious food but is pricey. Tip: skip their brewed coffee and order a cappuccino instead. Also, get the 'breakfast included' room option if you can as it includes a wonderful buffet each morning. Otherwise, the a la carte menu offers plenty of good options with GF bread available upon request. St. James Park Station is right around the corner, Victoria Station is a 10-min walk west and Parliament/Westminster Cathedral is a 10 minute walk east. Great location!

Was definitely and my room showed its age with some creaky floors and some outdated amenities...but the benefits out weighed its age. Bed was comfortable and the service was great. The location is great...walked to most things I went to. Very close to the tube station, westminister abbey and parliment square. Also decent amount of restaurants, bars and coffee places around

Great hotel. Service was fantastic, and there is complementary WIFI, with faster speeds available for a price.

This hotel is also situated very close to the St. James Underground station, so using public transport to get around the city is very easy.

Overall, this is definitely a great location to stay while in London!

This is a truly excellent hotel. I have stayed on a number of occasions over the past couple of months because of its superb location, excellent staff and comfortable beds. A great hotel.

We found the location convenient to Buckingham palace, the Abbey, Parliament and the tube. Set back off the street with a beautiful herb garden and covered porch with tables and wine service. A lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street. Rooms were well appointed with comfortable beds. They even source their own honey from hives on the roof.

Very nice hotel, meals including breakfast very expensive though. However pub 2 or blocks away with good food. And a 5 minute walk from where the tour buses start. One block from the underground. I'd say it's a good spot to get around and see the city. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Lovely property, rooms are small but has everything you need and a little more. Beds are comfy. Caxton Bar and Grill have a wonderful variety that accommodated me as a gluten free eater.

Great location near the St James Park tube station and other major attractions in Westminster. The service was impeccable and the room was clean and comfortable. A bit more than I normally pay for a room, but you can feel the difference straight away. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Had a great stay at St Ermins Hotel. Everything was perfect, all the staff were friendly and professional, the food at Caxton Grill was amazing and the location is perfect for Tourism. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I've stayed in this hotel a few times for work and as much as they to they can never seem to get it right. It's ok, but the little annoyances add up over time and depending on how discerning your taste and travel style are - you may want to skip it.

Annoyances:
1. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in the hallway. I asked for a quieter room and they offered me one on the courtyard - where cars drive in. Still not sure how that translates to more quiet.

2. The doors have no slam stops so when someone allows it to shut from behind them it is LOUD. If it's one of your neighbors your wall hangings will shake. If you're extra lucky to have one near the maids closet like I did the first time, forget about sleeping in. Truly, this may be the worst thing I've ever experienced in a hotel and I travel for work 30-40 weeks a year globally. Don't expect to have a work call from the hotel.

3. The elevator speaker is LOUD. Like beyond human comprehension loud. Elderly friendly??

4. The scent when you walk in is so strong that if you have any allergies or sensitives or a headache - God bless you, that's the only way you will survive. It also smells quiet bad to me but I'm sure someone thinks it is a nice scent.

5. There are no free bottles of water. This might be venturing into greedy territory but I have just come to view this as standard, particularly in a location where folks have gotten off a long flight.

6. I've yet to see them get a room service order right. It'll be close but don't expect perfection.

7. Ice machines working is 50/50.

8. If you like a bathroom with water pressure - don't stay here, or beg for a room that has the remodeled shower (they're hard to come buy in the corp rate category)

9. New during this stay are the bugs in my room. Like fruit flies. I have no words.

All to say - good luck. I have to leave now because the door slamming is driving me crazy.
